Super Subs

I've been coming here since my high school days. Amazing owners and subs! The bread and veggies are always fresh. My favorite sub is the American Cold Cut with everything. Super delicious! Today we had the cheeseburger sub and the cold cut. I'll have to workout those calories, but cannot wait to return.

Listen this place has been around a lonnnng time. Those who know, know. Im 45 yrs old now i have been coming here since middle school. Papi is the best. Subs always on point service is always great.

I've been coming to this place since I was a kid I'm 37 years old now still coming here still got the best cheesesteaks and chicken Phillies same two brothers have owned the place the whole time highly recommend them and if you like a little more flavor on your food they have a picante sauce it's kind of like a salsa delicious!!

I've been going to super subs for 20 plus years. The subs are great and they have a good selection to choose from.They always make the sub exactly how you ask and they don't skip on the veggies. The tuna sub is made with white meat and is incredible. Top it with the s"hot sauce. It's a spicy relish, and not really hot, but gives it a great zesty Zing. The American cold cut sub is a bargain and tasty too. I highly recommend super subs. I would suggest you call first to make sure they're open. A lot of their business us tied with the high School across the street. If the school's closed they sometimes close too.

Amazing I finally found a Philly cheese steak sub I love! Hubby had the double cheese burger with their homemade hot sauce and is still talking about how good it was! (They beat JB's all day)

Been going here for over 25 years! I'm even happier that I get to share this great place with my son! One of the best sub joints in South Florida!

I've been eating here since 1998. They've literally watched me grow up. Great subs in north miami beside publix and affordable. I live partime in new york now and still stop by 2 -3 times a year

It's not quite the same anymore. It's good, but used to be great. The service is still the same, friendly and always warm. The last time I ordered was 2024, and I got a chicken sub. It was really good, but I still preferred the steak bomb. Now... 2025... I ordered a steak bomb with all the trimmings and it was simply okay. I did notice that they switched their lettuce from iceberg to romaine which is really good. The quality of meat seems to have gone down. I'd still give them another try but I can't say I'm a fanatic for super subs anymore. Next time, I'll try the chicken again :)

I have been coming to Super Subs ever since I moved to North Miami in the 80's. Super Subs is a staple of North Miami and the food and service is excellent, their Cheese Burger sub is a must have along with any other subs they have on the menu.

This was my first time here and the owners are super sweet. I ordered 2 philly cheese steaks, mango juice, and a mix of fruit punch/Pina colada. The bread for the sandwiches was very fresh and the ingredients on the subs were as well, the steak was seasoned but very tough and we wound up taking off the steak and eating the bread with the veggies. I will definitely return to try something else and because the owners were so sweet I will return. They even offered to help me to my car.

I do not understand why anyone would recommend this place. They use sub-premium ingredients and not much of it, they seemed surprised I wanted it toasted, it was not inexpensive. Publix sells a much, much better sandwich.

I've been going to them since I was a little kid. I love their subs. There's no one who can make subs like them. They're fast and friendly service always pack and fresh food. I love this sub shop.

I have been coming here since I was 13 years old. I am a 35 year old man I have been loving this place almost all of my life. This place is amazing. The owners are a joy to watch make sandwiches they work together in tandem in the best way. They have some of the freshest products that you can imagine. The ambience is always amazing because the place smells and looks and always is the cleanest. I love this place 10 stars.

Been eating here since high school probably the best sub place to eat , it a small shop so don't expect it to have the same things as longer food chain definitely recommend getting the hamburger sub

First time trying this place after living in the area for 10+ years. I'm upset I didn't find it before! Steak and cheese sub was so good.

I kept seeing great reviews for this place, so I decided to stop in one day since it's so close to my house. I did not find that the quality of the subs was any better than other sub shops. If anything, I prefer getting a better quality sliced meat at Publix. I did enjoy their bread more, but that's about it. The place is small, so it's only to grab subs to go, and expect to wait. I was the only person in there and I ordered two subs and it still took me about 15-20 minutes from start to finish. I ordered a cheeseburger sub and a turkey sub, so I know they had to cook the meat, but the hamburger patty was super thin, so it really should not have taken as long as it did....I guess it made sense after I ate it though and my hamburger was WAY overcooked and super dry. I also left smelling like the shop, and it was not good. I don't know if it was a mixture of meat and toppings or what, but that smell stayed in my clothes and my hair. I had to take a shower when I finished eating just to get the smell off me. As an FYI- they're cash only with no ATM nearby. This is really close to my house, but I probably won't come back. Between publix, chain sub shops, and then a few mom & pop sub places in the area- this won't be my first choice.

Great sub bread! Great prices. Quick service. Definitely my new go to spot for subs. I got a simple ham and cheese, but everyone else was ordering cheesesteaks so I need to try it!

I travel from Miami Beach to go eat at this place. For under $7 bucks I get the best grilled chicken sandwich ever. Just thinking about this gets my mouth watery. I am always the only whitey to be there, but I could care less. This place is amazing. For under $4 bucks you can get the cold cuts sub, but really this is what you have to get. Chicken Sub with onions and honey mustard sauce on the meat. Then- all the trimmings, event the hot stuff. Just say out everything. I could eat this everyday. Just writing this review makes me want to go over there. I think the owners are salvadorian, but Im not sure. They arent the friendliest, but they are quick and efficient. This place is right infront of the North Miami HS, so Im sure that's how they stay in business. Anyhoooo... go by there. It's quick, good and cheap. Gotta love that.

I will start by saying I am a sandwich connoisseur . I LOVE sandwiches and I am officially cheating on firehouse subs , subway , publix deli , jersey mikes , Quiznos , and all the other places I love . This is a gem that is probably often overlooked . Do yourself a favor and GO ! Trying to stay away from red meat so asked if instead of a hot ham and cheese I could get hot turkey and cheese . Glad they are so accommodating. Got white cheese and "all the trimmings" . Added on jalapeño. Got salt n pepper , oregano and oil & vinegar . It was soooo full . They don't even bother trying to close it and ruin all their magical work . Just roll it up and wrap it and out the door ! It was soooo amazing ! The two older guys working there are so great ! It's across from a high school and it was a group of about 7 boys there that were loud and all over the place . Once he got them their orders and they left he apologized on their behalf saying "boys will be boys" lol it was classic . If you love sandwiches like I do then you MUST stop by . No seating . All to go but it's so freaking worth it . And if it's two of you eating I suggest sharing one sandwich . It's SOOOOO big . Thank me later lol . They close at 5 so go early and they are so good that sometimes they close early because they sold out !

Stopped in a few months ago, nobody else there. Friendly guy behind register takes my order--basic cheesesteak sub--he smiled and nodded, then threw about 4 lbs of bacon on the grill. I waited for about 4-5 minutes and didn't see any sub action happening, air thick with bacon smoke....since I hadn't paid yet, I just left. My boys, 7 and 9, were like, maybe you shouldn't have asked for all that bacon. My sub didn't have any bacon! I said, and we busted out laughing. One star for the memory bc we still laugh about that weird bacon sub shop every once in a while.

I have tried calling to check if they were open and they text me saying they were busy. I proceeded to ask if they were still open and I never heard back from them

Really good subs!! The owners were nice, the place is clean. They are quick but with great attention to detail. I'll be back again.

Amazingly delicious must stop and grab a sub if you're near Super Subs... The price is reasonable for all ages yes all ages and great service taste so good it's worth the try and wait for preparation Super Subs is Sub King

Love, love their subs.....I had craving for one and had to go get it. I've been going for years, since like 1996. It's more like a mom and pops establishment but better than most chain restaurants in my opinion.

Omg the cheeseburger sub is my thing totally addicting the Philly is really good too great service really friendly staff definitely reminds me of high school days coming here

Great Subs! I love the food and the prices you cannot beat. It is a family run business and they take pride in what they do. The only negative things that I have to say is parking is a pain and they close too early.

i just had a steak bomb and it was pretty damn good. i wouldn't call it a Hungry bear sub but this is the best in the area. i will definitely be back for more.

I have been going to this sub hub since 2007 and every Philly cheese steak I ever purchased was made with love, served with love and consumed with love! This family chain has to open more locations! We need more of you!

The worst breakfast sub I have ever had in my life all I could taste is salt and surprisingly their price gouging I was charged $20 for two subs of ham and egg with cheese. I can't believe how bad it was worst ever.

Finally found this place open, ordered a sub and they proceeded to tell me they don't take credit cards. I haven't used cash in 20 years they should really put a sign up that says we do not take credit cards

Not a sandwich person at all but I really liked this place the 2 guys that took my order was really polite and pleasant. My sandwich was well stacked with meat really fresh I now go often with my husband.

I started coming in High School back when they first opened. I'm 47 now. I cant forget the food but more importantly, the owner. I hadn't been there for years after moving away when school was over but one day, 20 YEARS after I had moved, my son and I were down there in NM showing him my old stops, and Ill be dammed, it was still open!!! So, we went inside to eat. Walked in, and THERE IS THE SAME OWNER FROM MY CHILDHOOD!!! Not only that but, he actually remembered my order, VERBATIM, after over 20 years of me being away!!! So me and the kid had lunch, on the hood, like the old days. I tell you in all honesty, it was a defining moment in my life. A "FLASHBACK" in sights, sound, taste but emotionally too. What a joy ride. It has been years since that day and I just wonder if the same people own it????

Hands down my favorite sub place. Love the cheeseburger subs, takes me back to middle school and high school.

IMO, this is the best sub shop in Dade county. The prices are excellent, food quality is second to none and the customer service is fairytale like. I've yet to have a bad tasting sub from this place, from the Cheese steak to the Chicken breast, everything is top notch. If during your lunch break your taste-buds crave a great tasting sub do yourself a favor and visit this place.
