"The longtime Mexican restaurant is all about, yes, tacos, as well as enchiladas, burritos, and fajitas, alongside breakfast plates full of migas or machacado. Takeout orders can be placed in person; there are indoor dine-in services." - Nadia Chaudhury

Very clean establishment with a very friendly staff. The food is some of the best Mexican food in the state. I consider myself to be a "Mexican food" guru and I've been to a lot of restaurants around the state. This is one you don't want to miss!!

I ordered Chicken Quesidillas, and they were literally just melted American cheese and chicken with barely any meat. The tortilla was hard and crunchy. Not sure if they gave me a child's version, but it was less than satisfactory.

Came for the special (tamales) found out they were out by my food coming out with 2 cheese enchiladas. I wasn't asked if that's what I wanted. Cheese dip, OK, refried beans, a NO go!! NO margaritas, either. What restaurant in Texas doesn't have sweet tea? Sorry, I won't be back.

Google
Friendly staff, the tortilla was very thick, and eggs could have used a little salt, but portions were huge. I enjoyed it and the prices were affordable. 😀👍A thinner tortilla would be preferable, I'll be back though!

Best mexican! I live in Michigan and once a year I get to Texas. I stop here 2x in the week I am in town. The food is fresh and homemade. Service is great. Clean and pleasant establishment. A must if you are in the area.

I was fooled by all the cars I routinely see in the parking lot when I should have checked out the reviews. I have spent a lot of time in Baja CA and moved here after living in Southern CA for the past 40 years and I just cannot understand why the Mexican food in TX is so different. When I walked in, I was told I could sit anywhere. It was lunch time so not too busy. I was greeted immediately with the traditional chips and salsa. The chips are warm and fresh... but they taste like they came out of a bag from the local supermarket. Clearly they do not make their own chips. The salsa was a good red sauce; could be a bit more spicier but I have yet to find any salsa that is hot. Just to keep it simple, I ordered the two enchiladas with the crispy taco and I ordered them all with chicken. Unfortunately, this meal did not come with beans & rice. Never in my life have I ordered a traditional Mexican plate and it didn't include beans & rice. It took a while to receive the meal which I never mind. I took that as a sign they were making this fresh and it was going to be amazing. But I was wrong; it certainly looked good but my first bite into the enchilada and I wanted to send it all back. The tortilla the enchilada came in tasted raw; no flavor and the chicken inside was horrible. I was actually concerned I might get sick later in the day. I do not know what or where they buy their chicken, but was the worst chicken I have ever tasted. I was horribly over cooked and chopped up into cubes. I've never had a chicken enchilada that was shredded chicken. I took one more bite and just stopped the enchiladas are that bad. The crispy taco is also quite bad. The taco shell is so fragile, the first bite you take, the whole shell is going to fall apart. They are store bought taco shells instead of them deep frying corn tortillas themselves. I have no idea why they wouldn't just cook up their own taco shells that wouldn't crumble into a hundred pieces after one bite. And the crispy taco had the same overcooked, flavorless cubed chicken. The taco had a few shreds of lettuce, maybe two or three pieces of cheese and just a few pieces of diced tomato. But given how fragile the shells are, I can see why they don't stuff the taco shell like most other restaurants would do. I don't know what they cook their chicken in, but I am used to shredded chicken that has been cooking in rich spicy red sauce. And as others have noted, yes, they charge a 3% charge for the credit card and then instead of letting me choose, the person at the checkout asked me how much to put down for a tip. And she did it while staring at me with a look that conveyed that I had BETTER leave a good tip. Talk about being intimidating! I have no idea why this parking lot is full unless people are just parking there to use the other businesses. But you will be disappointed if you come here. If you have EVER had Mexican food at any Mexican restaurant in Southern CA, you would taste the difference in an instant. We do enjoy living here, but it's such as shame the Mexican food is such a huge difference.

:p :p

I have been eating here ever since I was a baby and I have yet to change my mind that this will always be my favorite restaurant. The food is always top quality, the portions are generous, and the workers are as good as they were years ago, a definite stop in the Marble Falls area.

Stopped here for lunch while in town visiting from FL. Food was amazing! We ate everything on our plates! 😁 The chicken from the Vicky's special plate was so tender and seasoned to perfection!! Highly recommend. Would have loved to eat here again but, leaving home today.

Yelp
On our way home from a great weekend, we aimed to find a great breakfast. We walked in, and people were friendly, and the place was filled with families. The decor was perfect, with bright colors and Catholic references. So nice and comforting. We had the migas and pancake breakfast. Both were well made with excellent flavor and satisfying portions. We paid in cash and left feeling fulfilled on a Sunday morning. We will go back.

Reed T.

Yelp
We had lunch and before our food arrived, a roach ran across the top of our table. My wife left and said get our food to go. Here is the good and bad. Bad: not one employee acknowledged the issue and apologized. Never saw the manager. Good: they comped our food.

Yelp
Bland, bland, bland. Do not get the French toast, I could've made it at home and a child could've made that tasteless plate that I had. Save yourself the trip and skip breakfast here. We came here because everything else was opening later or further away....we should've made the extra drive. The only reason I gave a two star is because the server was prompt/polite and the salsa had good flavor. Upon entering, it is jam packed squished...not great for anyone. The tables are all so close that chairs touch each other from each table when people are sitting in them. They do not serve any alcohol whatsoever, my friends wanted mimosas. You pay up at the front at the end.

Lucy E.

Yelp
The service was a bit ridiculous. I called ahead with an order, 25 minutes- no big deal. I get there on time just to get told it'll be another 25 mins. I continued to wait and they could give me an estimate on time. By the time we finally got our food we were starving and disappointed by what we received. It was loud for the amount of people they had (few in each side), not impressed, not coming back.

Troy B.

Yelp
Ordered three breakfast tacos to go, when I walked in the staff is noticeably rude, few customers at maybe three tables, red flag, Cost of three tacos $15. They only have a red commercial salsa, not fresh. The tortilla was almost stale, potatoes are not fresh, the pre cooked type from a restaurant supplier. The bacon more than crispy, burnt. Tacos are hard to mess up but this place was overall a really bad experience, no one ate their taco. I've had better at a gas station.

Luci S.

Yelp
This place does not deserve one star. Walked in around 6:45PM on a Friday night. It is a seat yourself establishment. The decor, it's about what you expect for a Mexican restaurant, it seemed outdated, but clean. We waited awhile for someone to bring us a menu and take our drinks, one they did, chips and salsa were followed. The chips were cheap store-bought chips, the salsa tasted exactly like it would taste if you took a can of Mexican stewed tomatoes and pureed them. It had little flavor and My Partner and I had to doctor it up with salt and the lime from our drinks. When our order was taken, there were only three other tables, so not very busy. They took our order, I ordered the chicken "crispy" taco's, my partner ordered the Mexican dinner plate. I ordered a side of cilantro and onions to add flavor to the salsa. Part of my Partners plate came out about 20 minutes later. We were told that the rest would be out shortly. Another 25 minutes later, we were sitting and just waiting. We almost walked out, I wish we did. Finally they brought our food and it was cold, it looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp as a crust formed around the beans and cheese. The taco shells were thin and not made in house. They were stale as well. The chicken pieces were huge and not chopped up(parents watch out, this is a choking hazard for small children). The lettuce, onions, tomatoes, guacamole were not fresh and barely present on plate. The white onions were completely translucent and slimy, I refused to even try them. The cheese was shredded velveeta, and tasted awful. The chicken filling, was chicken thighs and completely dry and bland. Rice was dry and flavorless, beans tasted fine, with the exception of the texture from being under a lamp for so long. The Tamale was dry, flavor was not bad. The enchilada was unremarkable and small. The food was so bad, I had to stop eating it. I just wanted to leave. This place is usually packed for breakfast and I cannot speak on that, it's kinda hard to mess up scrambled eggs. However, dinner was a complete disgusting disaster. My only guess as to why this restaurant is still open, is because the large population of white people, and the fact the the other Mexican food Restaurant, El Jimador was too full (which was why we are at this place tonight). If you like Authentic Mexican food, save yourself the trouble. Be aware as well they charge 3% to use a credit card.

Deej B.

Yelp
If you want cold food!!! W. No seasoning Soggy tortilla that's the place for you it's not worth it Salas not even tasting on such shame

Brad H.

Yelp
So So So Good Every STINKING TIME! MY Go-To Bacon, Egg and Queso Breakfast Burrito and I have never second guessed my choices. You may have to wait a while on the weekends but my mercy is it worth it! If you have never had Super Taco just GO!

Laurie H.

Yelp
Chicken enchiladas were dry and tasteless. Asked that are dishes be removed and she said that wasn't her job. Really! It was clean but that is about all the good I can say!

Tony B.

Yelp
Dude. This is a super taco. Cash only. Home style food here. Get it. Get messy. Get some napkins. Check my pics.

Clint M.

Yelp
Always the best, never disappointed!! Fajitas are some of the best in the area. Tortillas are the size of dinner plates thick and homemade. The staff is always nice. Be advised, super taco does not take credit card. Make sure you bring your checkbook or have cash, an ATM is there if you need it. You eat here one time and this will be the Mexican food you grade all other Mexican food against

Karla B.

Yelp
The food is very good and authentic Mexican. Hand-made tortillas for those who are looking for that!

Autumn N.

Yelp
Normally, I love the breakfast tacos from this place, but for years, every now and then I'd get a taco with eggshells in it. Today it happened again and I was finally able to find a chip big enough to take a picture of. Very disappointed. And now I've found sharpie on my taco. Nice.

Janet B.

Yelp
Love the breakfast tacos and tostadas plate!! Excellent salsa and guacamole Never disappoints

Therese A.

Yelp
Good food, good service, and reasonable prices. Love their chili relleno's. They are consistently being voted Best of Marble Falls.

James F.

Yelp
Is Marble Falls gonna get out of the 1970's and finally accept credit or debit cards? I only ask as two of the strongest breakfast spots are cash only. Wait, one of them accepts checks? WTF, I'd rather use said thin strips of paper to wipe my a**. Super Taco doesn't have the long lines you can expect at the other well known breakfast spot either. Chips and salsa can be added to your breakfast meal for a small sum. All my visits have been for breakfast; can't speak about the lunch and dinner grub. Migas and a glass of tea is my usual. Eggs, jalapeno, onion, and tortilla strips all generously covered in melted cheese. Beans are decent, but the taters could use some help in the flavor department. Plate also includes one giant tortilla. So, good but nowhere near outstanding.

Harlan H.

Yelp
Super Taco has become a huge joke in our family. If one of us gets sour. We say if you don't quit I'm taking you to Super Taco... they get in line quick. Too funny right? That almost makes it worth it. Only because after 3 attempts everything that exemplifies bad food, poor service and management, and virtually customer torture has happened. Not even worth getting in to the details. Feel foolish for going back a second time and beyond embarrassed to admit gave them a third chance. But the best jokes and stories always come from terrible, embarrassing, painful stuff.

Claude D.

Yelp
Great service - Huevos ranchero very good - had flour tortillas - think next time try corn though as flour didn't taste real fresh - but for $9.00 - it could include one slice of bacon

George J.

Yelp
This was not our first visit to this restaurant as we have made several attempts to eat breakfast here. We ordered two plates of huevos ranchos and a barbacoa taco. The taco was warm in temperature and dry with no onions or cilantro. Very disappointing. The plates were not any better. The beans were cold and plates did not come with a meat side for the price. Very disappointed for all the local hype.

Wynter C.

Yelp
Beware if you are black they won't even greet you or give you utensils, salsa or anything without asking and then give you attitude if you ask. They will overcharge you for items as well. Avoid at all costs if you can they only favor certain people

Isaac C.

Yelp
Food is real good, Service is hit and miss. Takes a while for your food to come out. One thing I absolutely hate about this place is they only take cash or check [No debit card!!!!] So if u come without cash, you will have to pull cash out from their ATM that charges you $3.50 every time you use it. It's almost 2022 how do y'all not have a register that accepts Debit Card!!!!!!!

Kodijo Leiann T.

Yelp
I never felt obligated to write a review, from my Multiple bad experiences with this place. However, today :) I was simply relating to a friend on Facebook and was once again met with the rude ass management for this restaurant. *all experiences where pre-covid and I never planned to go back nor write a review.

Yolanda A.

Yelp
A great place for breakfast, we've never had lunch there because we stop on our way back from Lukenbach to Dallas in the mornings. We've always had breakfast and it's always been delicious it's hot and fresh and the service is amazing. Kimberly our waitress was exceptional although it looked like they were all on point. Highly recommend it. But if you want Menudo you better get there early cause I guess it's very popular and they run out early.

Cindi S.

Yelp
We ate here several years back and loved it. This time, it's a no go. They were short staffed, no problem. But waited 15 minutes after we set down and had to flag a waitress to take our drink order. She did, and never came back. Another 15 minutes later a waiter took our drink and food order. When the drinks came, they were severely watered down from sitting. Must've been our original drink order that was forgot about. We waited thirty minutes for our food. At that point we were contemplating calling the manager over or just leaving. We flagged down the waiter and he said he's check. Miraculously our food was ready, and lukewarm. The food, however, was good. We were just too pissed off to enjoy it. I understand being short staffed but it should be a must to check on your customers to give an update or at least refresh their drinks. We won't be back. Period.

Heather T.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our food at Super Taco. The place was spotless and clean, the staff friendly, and the food was authentic and tasty Tex Mex. Our service was pretty good. Our only real issue with the meal was that they ran out of tamales and didn't tell me until my order came. They subbed with extra enchiladas, but I really would have liked to know ahead of time. Also, they don't take cards and are cash only.

Matthew H.

Yelp
Dont get me wrong I love Super T and have been coming here for over 10 years. I understand the restaurant business in its entirety. When ordering to go when they say "20 minutes" be prepared to wait an upwards of an hour for a simple to go order. It gets to a point where I'll go into the restaurant after 30 and just wait.. looking to see why it's taking so long. Only to discover that it's slow inside. Very frustrating when you wanted the convenience and quick turn around associated with a to go order. It would be less upsetting if it was just presented as 20- an hour wait.

Jerry E.

Yelp
Biggest Tacos in the Land!! One is a lot of taco. Two you're probably going to skip lunch. Three getting ready for a Food Coma! (worth it!!) Seriously though, this place is Amazing! The tacos are BIG and very very delicious. Can't go wrong when coming here. ALL of the Breakfast Taco...Zero Complaints! Supreme Taco with Chicken has a lot of everything Carne Guisada Taco can get a little messy AND don't forget about the Hot Sauce!! It takes these tacos to Another Level!!

Hayden L.

Yelp
Don't waste your time or good hard earned money here, this place was little to say not worth the try, servers all sat down and talked and ate while one server struggled to serve 5 tables, food was horrible like it had been microwaved and then served. This experience was so horrible I don't even want to type more than to warn people of wasting time and money.

Jamie A.

Yelp
I've never had machacado like I've had here. It's the absolute best! The large homemade tortillas are amazing as well as the fresh made salsa. Everything I've had here is really good and highly recommend stopping by. While the food is awesome, there are a couple of cons. The service is slightly slow and it's cash only.

Beck H.

Yelp
The breakfast tacos were fresh, authentic and delicious! Highly recommend! Fast service.

Joan M.

Yelp
Omg, love going here for breakfast. Locals are always packing this place full. Feels like family when you walk in. Only takes cash.

Miss B.

Yelp
I've been to a few Mexican restaurants in the area (due to my love for Mexican food; and my Husband & i have no children- so we tend to eat out a lot)... Well (anyways)... This place has delicious food. And this review is based on my experience. :) It's sad (however) how some people only leave negative reviews because something went wrong- but when something is done right- people leave 'happy & full' and don't think to write a review. Oh well... they'll be back still. Lol And the atmosphere is very casual & pleasant. I definitely will come back every chance i get. :) *Dine-in customers receive chips & salsa complimentary as you wait for your order.

Cynthia C.

Yelp
If you love fake cheese and margarine then you will love this place I myself can't stand either one. I asked the waitress when I ordered If it was real cheese or American cheese food ...She told me it was Monterray Jack real cheese and she brings it out everything is covered in shredded American fake cheese. Never again Yuck!

Steven F.

Yelp
Came to Super Taco because it had good ratings. Literally just walked out because we waited for 5 plus minutes before a staff member tells us to find a table. The table was covered in food and the tip was still on it. We waited 10 plus minutes for the original employee who told us to find a table, wiped off the table and gave us menus. About 10 minutes later and young male waiter came up and took the money off the table and asked us if we wanted a drink, almost like we were bothering him, and walked off before we could order our food. During all of this, we see over 5 groups of people walk in, get chips, order their drinks, get their drinks and order their food. We decided that enough time was waisted so we got up and left. Can't say that I can recommend this place at all. Came to Margarita's down the road and got instant service.

Jonathan T.

Yelp
Worst place in town ordered two breakfast tacos waited for more then 45 min wasnt done i left it was 50 min still no tacos please dont waist ur money and time at this place smh

Rebecca T.

Yelp
A friend and I went to Super Taco for lunch yesterday. We both had a taco salad and iced tea. Chips and salsa are complimentary. Loved the salsa. The taco salad was wonderful too! Restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday. Service was quick and servers were polite. Will definitely be back. Best Mexican food in Marble Falls. Be aware....it is cash only.

Becca S.

Yelp
Mmmmmm... We love Super Taco! We just NEED OUR FIX sometimes! Huge breakfast tacos on homemade tortillas. The homemade CORN tortillas are delicous! Chicken Enchiladas Verdes, Chile Relleno, and Fajitas are also favorites. Don't forget the queso! Wonderful owners who help the community so much. A family run biz you want to support! Oh... and their refried beans... yessss!

Noah A.

Yelp
Don't get the quesadillas! The cheese didn't taste great at all. I was a little grossed out and didn't even finish it. I would suggest somewhere else for Mexican food.

Connor D.

Yelp
The GOAT breakfast taco stop in all of the Hill Country. Affordable, large, delicious breakfast tacos that the locals still call the best in town and stop in every time we can! Bacon, egg, potato, QUESO is the Move!

Isabella A.

Yelp
I love Super Taco but this morning I had a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese burrito and as I took a bite, I felt something crunchy so I took it out and to find that it was an eggshell. I looked at the burrito and found more eggshells. It was poorly made

Sariah L.

Yelp
Food was HORRIBLE me and my family came from out of town and decided to grab a quick bite all we ordered was chips and guacamole and Queso immediately after the first bite INSTANTLY WE FELT SICK the cheese barely STUCK TO THE CHIP it was disgusting after we left my sister threw up and we all had stomach problems never again!!!!

Vernon J.

Yelp
Super taco has the best tortillas in town. The burritos are huge. The salsa is great. All around a really good Mexican food place, except they don't take cash.

George L.

Yelp
SHOULD have taken a pic of this sorry little thing before eating it. I rarely post anything on Yelp. But when I do, it's ALWAYS because I'm in love with the place and want people to know about it...OR....I feel it's my duty to WARN people about a place. I have never eaten here before. Will most likely avoid it from now on. My brother in law said 'HUGE breakfast burritos! Best in town!!' Yeah.....bro.....sorry, DEFINITELY so much 'NYET' on either account. I kept it simple, had their $3.29 "carne asada" breakfast burrito.....my brother in law and wife got the 'egg plus whatever' burritos. All three came in average 8" or so flour tortillas. "HUGE!!.....SO MUCH 'not'. "BEST tasting!!".... Double 'NOT'. My burrito had NADA on it besides some pan fried carne that was pretty over seasoned...and nothing else you could taste...no onions...no cilantro....NOTHING that makes a carne asada burrito USUALLY such a great "go to" burrito. My experience has ALWAYS been carne comes more 'stew like' with more ingredients. This thing was the size of a plain Der Weinerschnitzel hotdog with just fried meat rolled inside. The fact it fit in one hand was at first disappointing, then afterward gratifying, because any bigger and I would have ended up tossing the rest out. Definitely over priced and under quality at $3...or ANY $.

Autumn M.

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting. Stopped here on the way to OK. Ordered a bean and cheese taco (thought this was something that really couldn't be messed up) and a crispy taco. To start, the cheese in the taco was kraft cheese... horrible. There was more gross half-melted-sandwich-cheese than beans. I actually would've liked just a cup of beans or a plain tortilla more than that bean and "cheese" taco... On to the crispy taco, it was a store-bought shell from a box. It was okay tasting; Way better than the bean and cheese taco, but that isn't saying much at all. Overall, would never stop here or recommend to anyone. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your money or appetite here. Disgusting. It's shameful to add kraft cheese to their food too... can't get over that.

Darlene S.

Yelp
You would have 5 stars if your food was consistent. Love the ambiance but each time I go and order the same thing the flavor, texture, or temp changes. You could use a drive thru too!

Rebecca S.

Yelp
HUGE breakfast tacos for the cost! Just remember to bring cash with you because they don't take cards.

Bruce J.

Yelp
When we walked in, no one greeted us so we found a table. After about 10 minutes, the waiter brought menus. The food was average but came out quick but they forgot the tortillas. The hot sauce is spicy. It'll but hair on your chest! I wish they had larger glasses because the water came in 6 oz cups. We never got a bill, even after asking for it, so we left cash on the table and left. In summary, the food was ok. I had cheese enchiladas and a taco. The taco was small but the best thing on the plate. The service was not very friendly and frankly unimpressive.

Gina Y.

Yelp
We picked up three tacos for breakfast and brought them home to eat My husband found a hair in his taco and the third taco was not what we ordered and looked disgusting We threw them all out Won't go back

Miriam v.

Yelp
My favorite place for Mexican breakfast. They never overcook eggs, the complimentary salsa is spicy and delicious but not TOO hot. The flour tortillas taste homemade (even if they're not)! They used to take only Cash but now there's an ATM. They're almost always busy -- proof that I'm not alone in my opinion of this restaurant -- but service is fast and pleasant.
