Where to Grab a Burrito Around D.C. | Eater DC

"One of the best low-key places to find Mexican food in D.C. is this tiny streetfront counter in Adams Morgan full of birthday cakes in the back and construction workers eating on stools in the front. Super Tacos offers nine types of burritos, all $10 or less, including guacamole. The ilegal variety is packed with carne asada, and there are options for cochinita pibil (roasted pork), lengua, and chorizo. Order pickup or delivery online here." - Gabe Hiatt

Google
Authentic and simple Mexican cuisine. I tried Super Tacos via Uber Eats and was pleasantly surprised how veggie heavy the vegetarian options are.

Google
ordered the bean burrito per the hype and it was very lopsided inside - half all rice and some beans, half lettuce/sauces/cheese. mostly tasted like a crunchwrap supreme. the cheese sauce served with it is neon orange. for the price - absolutely not worth.

Love this place. Been going here for years. A regular staple for us. Extensive menu with lots of options. Absolutely love the chimichanga, gordita, tacos al pastor, all of the burritos, and don't miss the amazing tortas with so many different flavors and options. Also don't miss out on the bakery options. The tres leches is one of the best and inspired our wedding cake. You can't go wrong with Super Taco & Bakery.

I Have Been To This Place 4 Times Now and Every Time I've Been Very Happy With My Food. I Have Given This Place Four Stars Because It Is The Most Difficult Place To Find Parking, There Is Always Heavy Traffic and Impossible Place To Stop For Just Picking Up An Order. I Ordered A Torta Hawaiiana, It Was Huge, Delicious and If Combined With A Mexican Drink You Are All Set To Be Full All Day. The Lady Was Very Polite and My Food Was Ready Fast. This Place Is Small But It Has A Lot Of Personality, Full Of Wonderful Important Mexican Decorations That Will Have You Admiring It While You Wait For Your Food. I Don't Eat Here Often But If I Lived Nearby I Would Eat Dinner Every Day. Definitely Worth The Trip.

Google
Place is small but food taste is fantastic. I had more than enough times to tried out American Mexican dishes and this place has awesome taste for food. People were nice and can't wait to visit again.

Google
Delicious Mexican food. 😋 Homemade drinks like. Horchata, Tamarindo, Piña colada and of course a very tasty hot coffee. 🥤☕️ Friendly customer service.

Great authentic Mexican food. I loved the Pozole Soup.

Hole in the wall. Excellent home cook meal

Yelp
Great tacos al pastor and decent price on a combo lunch. Will go back again and try the horchata and birria

Yelp
Yes, this is a fine taco takeout place. The tacos (i had 1 of each), all were perfect. I also had a tomalli chicken verde. It was ok, but I like them a bit drier, this one was very moist. The bakery products looked delicious.

Yelp
This longtime taco and bakery spot fulfills my cravings for a better than decent Mexican taco which is often hard to come by! I actually am surprised I don't return more often. I am partial to lengua tacos and they make a really good one. They load up the protein, onions and cilantro which I love. I could probably get full on two tacos but of course I want a third. They have a yummy pork combo special for $11 that had carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor served with rice and beans. I think that is a pretty solid deal! The employees are always smiling and helpful too. Good drink selection in their fridge too of Mexican sodas and such. Overall this is great for a quick bite if you want to eat at their counter space or outside on a stool on sunny days.

Yelp
I heard about this place and decided to try it out. It is a small hole in the wall place and the deal with a burrito and chips and queso I thought was good. I got the steak burrito and it was ok although I have seen bigger burritos elsewhere and the amount of chips you get is not a ton. It is a fine place for Mexican food and I would not mind going again for casual Mexican food.

Yelp
Looking for authentic Hispanic food? I'm talking mariachi band on your tastebuds....Well what the heck are you doing at Taco Bell? Super Tacos & Bakery in Adams Morgan is where it's at! Food: they have an extensive menu from tacos, burritos, chimichangas, flautas, etc. In addition to food, they also have a few dessert options including tres leches cake, churros, etc. Most meals come with beans, rice, and salsa. Between my husband and I, we've tried the hard shell chicken tacos, nachos, and flautas- all of it was tasty with the exception of the rice. We've had 3-4 experiences of the rice being hard and not all the way cooked. Ambiance: it's a very small restaurant with very little indoor and outdoor seating. Very colorful inside. Most times that I've visited, there has been Hispanic music playing (almost too loud). Service: I don't have much to say here as I usually order via phone for pick-up. However, the last time I ate here I was pissed about my rice being hard again, so I called and asked to speak to the manager. When I asked for the manager, the woman on the receiving end just asked what was wrong, so I'm not even sure if I got to speak to the manager or an imposter. Value: Great pricing for the amount of food you get. Location: Located in the Adams Morgan area of Washington, DC. If you're not from the area, just know that locating a parking spot in the area can be a hassle. 4 stars because the rice isn't good and who wants refried beans without rice? Not I.

Yelp
I ordered delivery because I'd been craving a burrito lately and Super Tacos really hit the spot! I got the burrito gringo which comes with chicken, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, red salsa, rice, and refried pinto beans and was served with warm tortilla chips and queso on the side. The burrito was super hefty and I actually split it into 2 meals, so it ended up being super cost effective. The queso is definitely different from any I've had before, but I enjoyed it. I also ordered a side of guac to go with my chips and it was perfection: the perfect mix of chunky and smooth, with lots of seasonings. Additionally, I got the tamal verde because I can never resist a tamale. This one was decently sized, super flavorful, and delicious from the first bite to the last. I practically inhaled it and wished I'd ordered 2 more. I feel like you can really tell that it's handmade. Now that I know they're in Adams Morgan and only like a 15 minute walk from my house, I'll be sure to visit the restaurant directly in the future.

Yelp
D.C. is definitely known for the jumbo slice, half-smoke, and wings with mumbo sauce. However, I've heard peeps complain about the lack of a decent taco joint in these parts. Are you kidding me? Apparently these naysayers don't know about Super Tacos & Bakery in Adams Morgan! Listen, don't sleep on this hole in the wall. I'm no taco aficionado, but Super Tacos can dish out a damn good taco. Talk about a fiesta for the taste buds. I always get the carnitas tacos...think tender, flavorful pork stuffed inside of a pillowy taco shell. FYI: They always add tasty toppings (small containers of pico de gallo, hot sauce, and pickled red onions) to my order. Now, let's talk about the refried beans. OMG! What a perfect side! Tastes like a concoction of homemade yum for the tum. No straight out of the can tomfoolery here. These refried beans are the real deal! Special mention: The menu is EXTENSIVE! There are lots of options to choose from...burritos, quesadillas, chimichangas, tortas (sandwiches), and sooo much more. For those who have a sweet tooth, there are dessert slices on deck. Need a cake for a special occasion? Look no further than Super Tacos & Bakery. Limited indoor and outdoor seating. You can do takeout or delivery. Personally, I prefer takeout. Extremely friendly and efficient customer service!

Yelp
The best Cake I have ever eaten. My friend wanted a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting for her birthday and no one made that cake anywhere. I checked every bakery in DC until I remembered that Super Tacos had a bakery. Sure enough there was my cake! About 12 people came to The Saloon on U St NW (piano bar Wed evenings) and everyone including me and the entire staff agreed this was the BEST cake they have ever had. It was sooooo moist! The frosting was light and airy and not very sweet- it was perfect. Everyone raved about the cake all evening. It was $48 and worth it! I highly suggest everyone go there and get a cake- they have many flavors and I will be ordering again. Now that I have had the best cake in the world (cake is my fav dessert next to brownies) I will find more reasons to order. I am literally astonished about how delicious it was.

Yelp
This was a cute shop by my Airbnb. Loved the selection and the service. I ordered the Pork Combo with a Jamaica as my drink. The Jamaica was great. Loved the Carnitas and Pastor Taco. The Chorizo was missing the spice but still a great taco. Would recommend if you want a filling and solid taco.

Khariss C. B.

Yelp
Excellent customer service! I have a gluten allergy so it's often difficult for me to find foods I can eat. They were very accommodating and their prices are reasonable.

Yelp
Tortas here are out of this world I recommend the cubana mixta for my meat lovers I love this place

Daniel Santiago A.

Yelp
hola, siempre he estado contento con el servicio, pero si debo quejarme porque ahora las porciones de los sopes estan super reducidas y duras, muy duras. ojala que lo mejoren gracias.

Yelp
I've gotten takeout from Super Tacos a few times now, and each time it's been pretty good. I like that I can order online and by the time I get there to pick it up, it's ready. The tacos are always good - I haven't had one I didn't like yet. My fiancé recently got the chimichanga and said it was good too. The only thing I didn't love was the sopes. It was just too much onion and cilantro for me. Oh, if you don't like your guac chunky, you won't like it here. It's got loads of onions, tomatoes, and cilantro in it. I'll continue to get takeout here for the tacos and the salsas; they're ready quickly, reasonably priced, and delicious.

Yelp
If you are looking to try different local Mexican food, I highly recommend trying Super Tacos! Their food is delicious and very affordable. Their ordering platform was very easy to navigate, so that also helped to make the experience very convenient and easy. Onto the food! We ordered the Burrito Ilegal, Carne Asada Tacos, and the Nachos to share. The burritos were packed with fillings and flavor and were the perfect size for one person. They even came with a side of chips and cheese. The steak was cooked to perfection! It was definitely the highlight of the entree. As someone who likes smothering their food in sauces, I used the salsa verde and roja to drizzle some more flavor onto each bite. Overall, it was an excellent choice. The tacos, which were given in TWO tortillas, were the perfect street taco stuffed with plenty of fillings. Although I have to admit, the meat was overpowering the taco as there was not much else to it, and I am usually one to prioritize filling variety. However, the simplicity of it added to the deliciousness, and once again the meat was soooo good. Lastly, the Nachos were a perfect appetizer to split! The cheese was melted so perfectly onto the chips and spread evenly throughout, something that is so rare with nachos. They were a bit on the soggy side since they had been delivered, but personally I prefer it this way. In addition to the amazing cuisine, they labeled all of the food so it was easier to divide our food. They also fulfilled the special requests we had indicated on the online order, which was very nice of them. Also, since there was WAY more than we can eat, we had plenty of leftovers, and the food reheated very well. Made for two great meals! Would highly recommend ordering from this place.

Yelp
This is our go-to for Mexican food. We stumbled across this place one day when we were hungry walking around Adams Morgan and I'm so glad we did. It is authentic and the people who work there are really friendly. We've only ordered Mexican food in DC from Super Tacos ever since we discovered it. Tonight, we got 4 tacos (2 lengua and 2 al pastor), a lengua burrito, pozole soup, and flan. It is all pretty damn delicious. I will say that I think the gringo tacos have influenced some dishes like the burritos... I specifically order it without sour cream, cheese, or lettuce and that is more legit tbh. So that's a thought if you don't want a gringo burrito. If you are going to the actual location and not ordering in - keep in mind its a small spot. You're not really going there for a big sit down meal. There are a few bar stools and you can eat your meal right there while you are out and about. This place is worth ordering from (they deliver pretty quickly) or grabbing something in the restaurant.

Yelp
AMAZING place to get cheap authentic tacos!!! It right below Embassy Tattoo, and I've been there many times. Glad that someone recommended me this place after my tat appointment! It wasn't busy on a Tuesday afternoon so our food came out pretty quickly. The tacos are a good size and only about $2.75 each. Comes with corn tortilla, cilantro and lime. Really enjoyed my chicken and al pastor especially. Put the sauces on for a kick!!!! Also tried the gordita which was also delicious. Will be back when I get another tat/piercing hehe

Farhat K.

Yelp
So I came to get my tattoo done nearby and realized I didn't have breakfast. Well, I needed a quick bite and this place was downstairs so my choice was easy. I went ahead and ordered the al pastor and carne asada. The food was made super quick (like within 8 mins of ordering) and I wolfed it down fast. Both tacos were delicious. Each came with a good amount of meat, and there was plenty of flavor in both items. The price was also fair and there were enough seats in the tiny shop for me to sit and enjoy my meal. The bakery part interests me so I gotta try something sweet next time.
google avatar

Kunal K.

Yelp
Kinda just middling. Had a mole tamale, a chicken taco, and the flautas. The flautas came with a red sauce with a kick, but the tacos and mole tamale were super bland.

Beeeen S.

Yelp
This used to be my go to Mexican spot for a quick bite. I thought the meat was a little off this time, saw the ROACHES everywhere, I have to be worried about getting sick...can't even eat here anymore. I'm so disappointed.
google avatar

Eric E.

Yelp
I ate here ages ago in 2008 and still haven't forgotten the tortas. That's how good they are.
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Love this secret little DC gem. Long before great taquerias like Habanero and Xochi, this was my go to spot for authentic Mexican street tacos. Love their tacos, burritos, and tortas. Glad to see they're still doing well during the pandemic!

Able V.

Yelp
Overpriced for the quality and unfortunately Taco Bell tastes better. There was little to no vegetables in anything just bread and meat! And the meat...The meat is EXTREMELY chewy and inedible! You've been warned!
google avatar

Grace M.

Yelp
Super fast delivery, great tacos with plenty of fresh and tasty filling, which made an order of 4 enough for lunch and to bring with me to my flight.

Yelp
I'm Californian and highly critical of Mexican food in general. Now that that's outta the way. I haven't been to Super Tacos & Bakery, but wanted to order a chicken quesadilla, beef nachos, and an al pastor (seasoned pork) taco. That met precisely the $20 minimum for free delivery. I was worried that delivery would take forever based on other reviews I'd read. Between order and delivery it actually only took 30 minutes. Very impressed. The nachos tasted like Taco Bell, but know that I give this as a compliment. It reminded me of ordering a nacho supreme as a little kid. It had that same taste. They put the guac, sour cream, and salsa on the side. Very considerate. Chips were a bit soggy but is to be expected with delivery. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They were very generous with the meat in the taco. It wasn't spicy, but tasted decent. Now that I think a little bit more, it may have been under seasoned. The chicken quesadilla had a lot of chicken and cheese, but the ratio of chicken:cheese was skewed. It wasn't as crunchy as I would have liked either. So I took a piece and crisped it up real good in a pan on my stove. They were generous portions and I could not finish it all in one sitting. It scratched my Mexican food itch, but hasn't won over my heart.

Yelp
Excellent food, each bite was full of culture and flavor. I absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a hidden gem.

Yelp
TACOS TACOS TACOS!! SOOOOOO GOOD. I ordered door dash to work cause I can't leave my desk and i was quite impressed. The tacos were hot and came with pico de gallo and a spicy verde sauce. I got 3 Carne asada tacos and chips with queso/salsa. ( pardon the photo I couldn't help it and already ate 1 taco hahaha) the salsa I didnt much care for but the queso is gooey and thick !! Soooo good!! I would absolutely have these again and try more items.
google avatar

Spencer J.

Yelp
Ok, the nachos and the al pastor tacos were just ok (not up to Pica levels, and those still are not perfect). All of this is to say, come here for the Chilaquiles which do not disappoint!!
google avatar

Rudy H.

Yelp
I was going to order a Burrito, but I ordered Torta Conchinita Pibil (baked seasoned pork Yucatan style) sandwich instead. For $9.90 incl tax, I got a large satisfying Mexican lunch sandwich that was pretty delicious. I will be back to try another.
google avatar

Lily F.

Yelp
If this place was more expensive then I would have given them two stars. For $37 we ordered 9 tacos: al pastor, lengua, chorizo, carne asada and carnitas. We actually ordered a cochnita pibil as well but it didn't show up and we ended up getting two chorizos instead. Also, we added on chips and guac and a small container of rice. Everything, with the exception of the lengua tacos was completely dried out. The chorizo, steak, and carnitas were all really dry and left you beginning for some kind of salsa. Speaking of which, I was really disappointed that they don't at least give you some kind of free salsa (not even when you order chips and guac) without charging you for it. The rice was also dry and the chips tasted stale. The guacamole was a joke. It was 80% pico de gallo with just enough avocado smashed in it to be green in color. It also came in a container slightly bigger than the ones for salad dressing. Even Chipotle's guac is way better. And it was $5? Nah, I'll pass on this place. The flavor was there for everything, but the execution was a total fail.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Thought the Al pastor tacos were just okay, they lacked flavor and we're soupy w liquid

Yelp
Tonight was the first time that as have been in here in years literally. I was hungry for some Mexican food, and there was nothing stopping me! When you walk in, you immediately realize that this place is more geared forntake-out orders. However, they do have a couple of tables situated outside. The lady who took my order wasn't that friendly, and she appeared to be annoyed to be here. At any rate, I ordered the carne asada or grilled steak tacos, three of them for $2.75 each in addition to a Jarritos Mandarin drink. The tacos were delivered to my small table within five minutes and the man who brought them was friendly with everyone. The steak tacos were spot on! They also have a decent selection of sales to choose from. I chose the medium spicey salsa, and it was not that it at all, so I went ahead and got some jalepeno peppers to spice it up! The food here was very good!
google avatar

Kendra L.

Yelp
I orders Pasole I was disappointed on how The serve it and how super greasy it was. FYI if you looking for a Mexican delicious and tasty MEXICAN posole " Super Tacos & etc. is not The place for you.
google avatar

Alphi A.

Yelp
I always come to Super Tacos but, today I asked is the Jamaican drink was made it by the natural flower or made by artificial flavors so, the lady in the cashier said: "I don't know ‍ I'm only the cashier". Who I'm suppose to ask? She was rude with attitude.
google avatar

K. C.

Yelp
I come here to pick up a carnitas, chicken, or steak burrito occasionally, it is always very good. They give me chips with queso and salsa with it. I haven't been there for awhile , but it is a tasty burrito, I'd say one of the best burrito in DC I've had, not fancy at all just good fast food.
google avatar

Mother A.

Yelp
i really wanted to like this place. however, the tamales were not flavorful & chicken was hard/old. also, they seem to use a microwave to heat up the tamales, which i really do not appreciate. it's really easy and fast to just place them in hot water to heat. the microwave dries stuff out is just the worst. lastly, i purchased a piece of chocolate cake that was soak and wet, as if the cake had been sitting in a bowl of water. i will not be returning.

Yelp
Visiting from out of state, we found this little place. We were craving a milanesa sandwich, and found it here!! The milanesa was a little tough, but it had a good flavor. We also ordered a torta Oaxaquena and one of Cochinita Pibil- A-MA-ZING! They don't have tables and chairs inside, because it's so small, instead they have like bar stools around the wall. They have two or three fridges where you can see all of their desserts ... so we tried the chocolate cake- a 10! The slice of tres leches cake- a 6(not so sweet). The cup of tres leches cake- a 9!! The flan- a 10!! They also have a large variety of sodas, can or bottled, and your tipical aguas. They're salsas we're pretty tasty, too. The only thing that was bad was finding parking!!

Holly G.

Yelp
I order from them monthly because the food is tasty, reasonably priced, and always arrives hot. The serving sizes are large. The tacos are flavorful, illegal burrito filling, and my fav, the chicken tamales-totally filling also. I grew up in LA and my family went to Mexico all the time, and could also easily find authentic Mexican food all over California. This little place takes me back to my childhood and trips to Mexico. Super Tacos is a little place where you can find really good Mexican food at a reasonable price in DC.
google avatar

Susanne M.

Yelp
Autentico! Taste of real Mexico. Fresh ingredients, no foofoo fakey fancy American-style things on the menu. Habanero sauce especially tasty! Thumbs UP!
google avatar

Hayden M.

Yelp
Super Taco & Bakery is indeed, super. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and fast and there even a cool little set of chairs and windows where you can eat your meal with a friend (human or canine since it's outside). I'm not sure what's up with the negative reviews of this place but I am also not sure why folks would go to a low key, neighborhood restaurant with delicious food expecting a hipster paradise of Americanized food. There's lots of places like that in DC but this isn't it. If you want delicious food, friendly service and a chill environment (plus an awesome people watching spot where you can enjoy you meal), I would def check it out!
google avatar

Meghan S.

Yelp
Best Mexican food in DC hands down!! We've tried the tacos, flautas and most recently the torta cubana...AMAZING Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
I was craving two things: tacos and tres leches. This place has them both and they're both delicious. Not sure why I've never stumbled across this place but it's located across the CVS in AdMo. Not much seating but many take out orders. I got three steaks tacos and the steak was seasoned well with ample choices for toppings. The tres leches had fruit and it was very good - not too sweet and soaked. The chips and salsa were also very good. I will definitely be back and I hope to order my birthday cake from here! Swing by and grab a taco.
google avatar

Marcella W.

Yelp
Super delicious, ordered the 1lb of carne asada taco, flautus, carne asada chimichanga, and a tomal verde. Everything was packaged really well and stayed crispy. Appreciated the variety of sauces provided.

Kaelin D.

Yelp
I only started ordering here on a whim during the pandemic, and have ordered weekly since. I genuinely cannot describe how wonderful and comforting the food is here. Their tortas are insanely good (and so reasonably priced) and they have the most massive tamales I have ever seen. I have never once been disappointed by anything I have ordered. I cannot remember the last time I posted a yelp review, if ever, and I am just so floored by how amazing and underrated and affordable the food is here that I had to share. Do yourself a favor--order here!!!
google avatar

Abegail A.

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place and was super excited to inhale the two tacos I ordered as soon as I got home. But, Super Tacos fell short of my expectations. I ordered the carne asada (grilled steak) and carnitas (seasoned fried pork), which were $2.75 each and came with two corn tortillas, cilantro, onions, and a wedge of lime. Each taco came with tons of meat...so much that you essentially get two for the price of one. In most instances I'd be happy about this. However, I found my meat to lack flavor (both carne asada and carnitas) and/or be super chewy/fatty (carne asada). Not what I'm looking for when I eat a taco! The meat was tender, I'll give them that. Their selection of salsa was pretty good (the red one is super spicy...yum!). Service was good. One thing that I didn't understand though was why they didn't check people's receipts when they came up to grab their food. While I was there, two separate individuals had to wait longer because their food was given to someone else. Not cool, not cool at all. With a line that reached the door, I expected these tacos to blow me away. They were definitely nothing close to super!
google avatar

Neelam P.

Yelp
I love random hole-in-the walls that serve great food. Jaimin S. and I tried the nachos (confirmed the beans had no pork, just in case vegetarians were wondering!) and they were really delish. A good amount of tortilla chips + beans + cheese. We added on sour cream + guacamole + jalapenos + and tons of their red/green sauce. The end result was an excellent bunch of nachos! We also had the vegetarian tacos (grilled veggies in 2 corn tortillas) and I wasn't a huge fan. I don't think the tacos had any cheese and I was really hoping they did! The veggies were just OK, would have helped if they were seasoned more. I would come back for the nachos!
google avatar

Yelp
Y'all genuinely don't need to look anywhere else for tacos in DC. Super Tacos is 1) cheap as hell 2) DELICIOUS & 3) Soooo nice! Any time I've had questions about my order they're super helpful. Always on time, always correct and ALWAYS delicious. I almost always get the same thing (rice beans & lengue tacos) and I decided today to try the cochinita pibil sandwich and my friends..... this thing is a MONSTER. I ordered a large, not realizing this sucker can feed 3 people and leave them full EASILY. Under $10? Insane. Absolutely delicious as everything else is. Their CAKES THO. Freaking awesome. Trying the Tres leches next time I order! But I wish they didn't have paper straws for the horchata!
google avatar

Michael F.

Yelp
Holy shit, this place is awesome and every time I come here, I always leave happy. Some of the best tacos in DC. First off, the staff is very warm, friendly, efficient. They have given me recommendations on a variety of their items and are willing to adjust it to however you like it. Depending on when you go, they can be relatively quick or slow, but I don't care, the food is so damn good. The environment is small, but clean. I recommend calling ahead and picking it up, but I've eaten there on multiple occasions and it's been totally fine. If you go and are NOT vegetarian, get the Conchinita Tacos on Flour (personally not a fan of corn tortillas) with a Horchatta drink. It's so fucking delicious, you'll probably start questioning your existence. If pork isn't your thing, the other tacos are all great. Mexico or Gringo style, it's all good. Also their salsas are a fantastic addition for those who want an extra kick in their meal.

Yelp
As a transplant from San Diego, my taco and burrito benchmark is unreasonably high. In a year that's been unequivocally dumpster-fire-esque, I have no tolerance for stale corn tortillas that break when you fold them. Miss me with "salsa" that's watery with mushy tomato chunks (if you're gonna do pico de gallo, do pico de gallo). And if you stuff my burrito with 80% rice, we can't be friends. Super Tacos & Bakery is none of the above. They're the closest thing to San Diego mexican food that Ive found in my 2 years of searching. The chicken tinga taco tasted like home -- well seasoned meat with corn tortillas that were so fresh I almost cried. The ilegal burrito had the perfect steak:rice:sour cream ratio and, once slathered in their habanero salsa, was the ultimate hangover cure. So happy to have found this oasis.

Yelp
Good Mexican food on the go and on a budget. Got the Burrito Ilegal and horchata. Food was spot on and staff was nice. Would recommend this place for a quick bite while around the area.

Yelp
No. Just no. Saw this place was ranked fairly highly on the Eat24 app, wanted some basic Spanish food so decided to try them out. We got nachos, chicken burrito, chicken quesadilla, carne asada encebollada, flan and mil ojas. Spent over $60. EVERYTHING was terrible. Everything. The nachos were soggy, drowned in just gobs of melted cheese and refried beans (no one loves cheese more than I do but this was just ridiculous). Tiny little sides of guacamole and sour cream. My burrito was really bland, and a couple of bites in I almost crunched down hard on a jagged huge BONE--in a BURRITO! I mean, really? I know you can expect bones in lots of dishes, soups etc...but a BURRITO? No. Totally turned me off of the burrito so I threw it away. The chicken quesadilla was flavorless and gross. My boyfriend's meat was like jerky. Our desserts were disgusting; mine tasted like basically thin layers of store-bought puff pastry hidden between heaps of cool whip. We hadn't eaten all day when we ordered this, and I spent $65 thinking we'd have a huge meal that would last us for lunch, dinner and then some. We wound up throwing almost the entire thing away. I was pissed to waste so much money and still be hungry. Never again!
