We enjoyed SF’s new location. They have wonderful bake goods. They have nice salads and bowls. The customer service experience was wonderful too!

The breakfast burrito is by far one of the best. When you order, it takes a while so get ready to practice patient. Just for two muffins to be warm will take 15 minutes.

Very clean cafe. Kind and attentive service. This is a great place for a quiet brunch or meetup for coffee/tea. There is a patio in the front, which is nice on a balmy day. Lots of families seem to enjoy visiting. I would recommend one of their sweet buns. Delicious!

Google
This is the spot that Calabasas desperately needed! They've created the cutest little patio filled with potted plants and olive trees everywhere so you don't even feel like you're at a strip mall in suburbia. It feels like you could be in Montecito, it's so cute! I went there for coffee with some friends after drop off and it was the most comfortable and enjoyable spot to linger and enjoy some coffee which is amazing by the way. We each ordered different breakfast toasts and they were all delicious. The smoked fish tartine ended up being the star of the show...I was iffy on it from reading the menu but I will 100% order that next time even though they were all good. The staff was very doting and accommodating and made us feel so welcome. We were not rushed and felt comfortable taking our time. 10/10 recommend

Google
Passing through Calabasas and was excited to see they opened a Superba here! I'm a regular at the Venice location...this one has a different feel, and even different menu options, but an equally good vibe! The food was awesome. We shared the schnitzel, the cheeseburger and the spring salad. All were delicious. A super nice staff as well. Thank you guys!

Google
We had a very bad experience. This place is so beautiful, right on the middle of Commons in Calabasas. I waited for a couple weeks since opening to go there . The food was worth . It looks like a fancy restaurant but with a cheap dining like Denny’s or similar. I never will come back here again. The food looks good on the pictures but taste is bad .

Google
Superba Food + Bread in Calabasas offers a pleasant location and atmosphere, but unfortunately, the dining experience does not live up to its setting. The menu itself feels disjointed, with unusual item pairings that come across more confusing than creative. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, which arrived dry and lacking flavor. The appetizer plate, featuring yogurt and tomato, had potential, but it was overwhelmed by excessive condiments. The tomatoes in particular were disappointing, with a soft texture that suggested they were not fresh. Pricing is another concern. The menu is significantly overpriced considering the quality and execution of the dishes. To add to this, a surcharge was applied to our bill for a party of two, which is both unusual and questionable. The receipt also indicated “happy hour” at 8 p.m.—a detail that was neither advertised nor explained. Such practices raise concerns about transparency and management priorities. In summary, while the restaurant benefits from a nice location, the food quality, menu design, and pricing do not justify a return visit. The added surcharge and lack of clarity in billing reinforce an impression of poor management decisions. I would rate Superba Food + Bread in Calabasas 1 out of 5, and that is solely for the setting.

Google
Me and my family visited the Calabasas location this morning for breakfast and we had a terrible experience. Side note, This was not our first time at this location. I asked for sugar with my latte and it never came. My wife asked that her Avocado toast (which is usually loaded with veggies) not be made with salt/pepper or olive oil, it was delivered complete bare. It was literally just toast and bread. We also asked for jam and were told that it was extra. For jam? Then when we asked the waiter about our issues he just laughed them off. Never going to this restaurant again. My money is better spent elsewhere

Yelp
Great new brunch spot in The Commons! The ambiance is super retro and diner like. Our server was great and always checking in on us. Food wise 4/5. It was a bit too oily for me. They use lots of butter as well. Nonetheless, we still ate it. Recommendations: Tuna melt Paul's "Big boy" Breakfast The OJ (very fresh) Overall, we had a great experience and would potentially be back.

Yelp
This is my favorite place in Calabasas when it comes to food and ambiance the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is always great. However, the service consistently leaves a lot to be desired. On our most recent visit, we asked to sit at one of the booth tables rather than at a standard table with chairs. There were at least three or four open booths, but the hostess told us they were all reserved. We said we were happy to wait, and she informed us it would be about 30-40 minutes, which we were fine with. While waiting, I overheard a staff member say that none of those tables were actually reserved, which made it clear the hostess had lied I'm not sure why!! Just a few minutes later, she sat us at a huge table meant for six people, even though it was only two of us. Halfway through our meal after we had received all our food and drinks the hostess came back and asked if we could move to a different table. Ironically, she asked us to move to one of the booths we originally requested. She claimed the reservations had been canceled, even though we were heard someone earlier say they didn't exist. We obviously declined; it didn't make sense to get up and move everything mid-meal. Another consistent issue is the service in general. Every time I've come here, our server seems to disappear. We often have to flag down multiple staff members just to place orders or ask questions. It's also unclear who our server actually is no one ever introduces themselves or checks in regularly. On top of that, there's no drink menu available in the evening, and when you ask about basic drink options, the server often walks away to bring you a menu instead of just answering the question. It would be really helpful if they either offered a drink menu at night or trained the staff to be more familiar with what's available. This place has so much potential the food and atmosphere are great but the service really needs improvement to match the rest of the experience. I won't be back for a while.

Yelp
This is a new restaurant in the Calabasas Commons shopping area. The vibe is trendy and elegant while at the same time being artistic and kind of avant-garde with all the artwork all around. It's got a slightly surreal vibe with the silver curtains too. It's cute and cozy and definitely unique, really a lovely little space for a date night or classy dinner. The menu is diverse and the food was super fresh and delicious. The pasta was excellent and the flavors really worked. We got a few side dishes like brussel sprouts and fries and salad and everything was equally great across the board. I would have given five stars but it really puts a sour note that there is an extra amount to pay the employees "Happy and Healthy surcharge" on the bill that you have to ask to be removed if you don't want the extra % added to your check. This is a classy place but not a very classy move to have the people who are dining at the restaurant pay for the employee's health benefits. I know customers can ask to have this fee removed but most of my party did not notice the message on the bottom of the first page of the menu that indicated this and I had to point it out.

Yelp
This place was overall pretty good but definitely some weird things to note! MAIN thing to note the charged us a "happy and healthy" surcharge for no reason, when we asked what it was, the server said it goes to the managements health insurance and he could remove it. Very odd and have never experienced this auto charge at a restaurant before? food: i got a bowl and it was delicious, i added roasted chicken and it came cold and refrigerated which was weird with the warm rice especially due to the fact that it was on the menu as "roasted chicken" Service: service was alright, i asked if the cookie had nuts in it and they said no, and then it came with nuts and i pointed it out and he was like idk?? he let us return it though ambiance: great ambiance, beautiful furniture and great vibes!

Yelp
Came here on a recent quick trip and immensely enjoyed the salmon bowl. Fresh ingredients, delicious taste and healthy meal to refuel after my flight in from the east coast. We sat in the courtyard area and enjoyed the sunshine. I was so temped to order their cinnamon roll but decided to keep in healthy, haha. Looking forward to trying more dishes upon returning to the west coast.

Yelp
I have been waiting to try this spot out! You know being in the valley. You don't always want to leave the valley for a vibey spot with good food. This place did not disappoint. I ate indoors for an early lunch and i was quickly attended to by their prompt hostess. I went with a friend so we were both gobsmacked by how beautifully artsy this place is. The aesthetic was giving 90s LA... paris in the 60s... sort of a soho vibe inside. Love the moderno interior design and that it was still comfy (that doesn't always happen). Now for the food! I got the spanish latte which is a double shot of espresso, condensed milk and whole milk. No additional sugar needed! It was perfection. Frothy foam, slightly sweet milk and the light aromatic bitterness of the espresso. Parker house rolls, so this was a big deal on their profile so we had to try it. Have to say i was not impressed. Parker house rolls are meant to be warm and buttery. These rolls. We're cool/room temp and okay at best. The goat cheese, sesame, chili and honey dip on the side was cool. These would be so much better if they served them hot with a side of butter. They could leave the honey, sesame and chili flakes on the side. It reminded me of how bread in paris is served cold. I know if that bread was toasted on the outside and warm on the inside with butter on the side. It would be great The smoked fish tartine!!! Perfection! I mean it's a very well balanced tuna salad on this crispy/crunchy everything baguette. This was such an elevated take on a runa salad on toast. Next rime i want to ask for a aide of the beet and radish. That was a nice acidic bit aa we ate through the toast. Clean, savory, acidic and creamy. Will be getting this every-time. This was my favorite! My second favorite is that crispy chicken sandwich. It's really hard to have a light fried chicken sandwich that is. Ot overly greasy and heavily breaded. This reminded me on the lightly breaded chicken cutlets my mom use to make. I didn't feel heavy and the coleslaw was light enough. My next fave was the fries it came with. They might be skinny but they pack a great punch of flavor! There is this salt and vinegary seasoning on the fries. It was so food i barely touched the ketchup. They taste reminds me of the boardwalk fries i would get at the beach with a aide of vinegar and salt. Sooooo good. I couldn't eat a bit more after this. I was stuffed! I will come back alot more/ goad to know we have another great place to eat in the valley. I have to also say the manager, wait staff, honestly everyone was so attentive, quick and hospitable. I felt welcomed and that always adds a cherry on top. See yall soon!

Yelp
I have been a long time customer at the Hollywood Location. Have purchased Thanksgiving Pre-Made food times for 3 years. This time went to the Calabasas location for pickup because it is closer. Had a great experience upon pickup, the food was a big hit with the exception of the desserts... I purchased a pie and it was literally moldy the NEXT morning after Thanksgiving Day. Which is absurd. It means the pie was OLD. Thats never happened years before & shouldn't happen in 24 hours + refrigeration. Spent $70 on the pie & $500 on the food. Called to speak to the manager to see what happened. He blew me off and said he would call back after speaking to the chef. He never called back. Very disappointed in this location and lack of quality in the items they sold dessert wise. I think they lost a loyal customer after this experience. Such a shame. I love the food here.

Yelp
Superba never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is effortlessly cool--modern, airy, and welcoming. We ordered the seabass, half herb-roasted chicken, and the heirloom tomato salad with rolls--and every single bite was perfection. The seabass was flaky and buttery, the chicken tender and full of flavor, and that tomato salad? Bright, fresh, and balanced with just the right acidity. And don't get me started on the warm rolls--soft, pillowy, and served with butter that melts like a dream. Service was attentive but never pushy. The staff knows the menu well and genuinely wants you to have a great time. Whether you're doing a laid-back lunch or a dinner date, Superba is one of those spots you keep coming back to. Highly recommend for foodies, date nights, or anyone who just loves good food in a chill, beautiful space. #SuperbaCalabasas #FoodieFavorites #FarmToTableVibes #LAeats

Yelp
Would probably go 3.5, but I'm okay with the 4 star review and I'll give you the good and the not so good and tell you why. Nothing was "bad." It's tough reviewing restaurants these days because they are really struggling. And yes, the costs have gone waaayyy up, but it also makes it much harder for the average diner to go out. Places like this now become special occasion, once in a while spots, whereas even a few years ago, they would be a regular and maybe weekly drop in. As a Yelper, you need to be honest and hopefully provide any critiques in a nice and respectful way. That's the goal... to tell it like it is, and hopefully let a place know where there is room for improvement, and also point out what they are doing that is great. But I want places to stay afloat and thrive, so it can be challenging. With that said... The staff is really great and friendly. Top notch and A+ for that. Did not really see the inside, but the patio and location (where Le Pain used to be) is comfortable and it is quite pleasant to sit outside. Another A+ The food was delicious, but... $19 for an Egg White Frittata that did not come with anything is steep. Like not even one piece of bread? Isn't that part of what you're famous for? It's in your name. And it might bring people back to shop at the bakery and get some things to go. What about potatoes? Something else? It is cleverly put on a plate so that it fills the whole thing up and it did look and taste great, but come on... it should come with something else. The frittata has avocado, cherry, tomato, cheddar, watercress, radish, chili, turmeric vinaigrette and was quite aesthetically pleasing, as well. The Chicken Chopped Salad clocks in at $21 and was completely legit and a very big portion. But you know... over $20. That came with romaine + gems, pepperoncini, garbanzo, grilled corn, radish, cucumber, roasted onion, fresh mozzarella, house torn croutons, and a za'atar vinaigrette. Really tasty! So, aside from the prices being high (and yes, I know the cost of everything is up, thus the dilemma), here are my other gripes. It was my friend's birthday and when I called to make a reservation it seemed like dessert would be comped. It wasn't. Maybe that was only for a baked good or pastry, so that might be on me, but still. The Butter Pecan Ice Cream made in house was phenomenal but we probably would not have ordered it. For taste it gets an A+. $7.50 for a bottle of sparkling water that probably costs them $1. Ugh. And the real thorn in my side, which I have NOT seen on a bill in a while, is a Happy + Healthy Surcharge. Only 3% and pretty minimal, but still. Why am I paying your employees health benefits??? You pay your employees health benefits and then add that into the cost of each item. This drives me crazy. Anyway, there is the good and the meh. With so many great brunch places around, whose prices are similar but offer more on the plate, it makes choosing a bit easier.

Yelp
Fun place in The Calabasas Commons for brunch. Service was a little slow and lacked attention but the food was good.

Yelp
The omelette was very good. Super fluffy and custard like and perfectly cooked. Also love their sourdough bread. Service was great and the inside is very aesthetic. Also had great coffee.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot with good flavors in their food. The falafel bowl was good and the avocado toast had a good crunch and fresh avocado and pickled onions on it. The ambiance is very cozy and modern and vibey especially the outdoor area. The sticky bun was one of the best cinnamon buns I have had. My only constructive comments is that the levain toast that the avocado toast was served on seemed dry/not the freshest as well as the turkey patty was dry. For its price point I think it's worth to make note of the quality. But nonetheless the flavor was good. Side note: drinks are STRONG but the banana tiki was flavorful though

Yelp
I love that we finally have a Superba on this side of town. The restaurant serves up quality organic eats that always make me feel like I made the right choice. Simple, fresh, tasty and great value. Situated in the Calabasas Commons it fits right in with the neighborhood. I found the service to be super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend if you're dining alone, with friends or family etc.

Yelp
This is my new favorite restaurant in the Commons in Calabasas. I live in an area where I can walk to 31 different restaurants and I'm talking a walk of a quarter a mile at most. The staff are so friendly and hilarious. They are only surpassed by the food and drinks. Whether you drink alcohol or not, the original drinks are fantastic. Their gazpacho is unbelievable. their food is unbelievable. You can sit outside or inside. In nice weather. I always choose outside.

Yelp
I came here for a special occasion and this place was pretty good! In the old location of where Le Pain used to be they remodeled inside for an almost "modern/casual" venue with added class to it. Our server was overall friendly as well. The main issue we had was the power out when out as soon as we were about to checkout but it seemed like it was a neighborhood thing at the time I went. We got two of the superba spritzes and they were refined and flavorful. The bread they served was really tasty with the butter already spread on top, it was hard to cut and separate though. For our mains we got the pesto tagliatelle and the double cheeseburger. They were both good, but it wasn't the best I ever had for the price. The cheeseburger was kind of small too. Overall, it is nice to have a new restaurant in the commons and this is a new place to try if you are in the area!

Martin N.

Yelp
Picked this off the Resy app. Pleasantly surprised at the amazing food, eclectic ambience and decor, and the terrific service! They've got a large outdoor patio with space heaters. It's in the middle of the Calabasas Commons shopping center so a nice, peaceful, and safe walk before and after eating was terrific! Menu is seasoned also here it is in November. Full bar! Wine, beer, and spirits! Tinfoil drapes? OK that along with the adding the "a" at the end of "superb" made me scratch my head, but I will be back.

Yelp
We were excited to try Superba after seeing several videos online. The outdoor space is great and feels like you're on a chic patio on the Westside. Plenty of tables, umbrellas, and people watching. We were also lucky because the weather was perfect. We both split the smoked whitefish tartine which I loved, and the umami salmon bowl...also good. Both were not huge portions but the flavors and execution were great. The baguette for the tartine was chewy, crispy, and perfectly grilled, which worked well with the smokey whitefish. Not overpowering but delicious. Also really liked the salmon bowl, which blended (not literally) well-seasoned salmon, brown rice, kimchi cucumber, and a variety of other umami flavor. There was a lot on the menu we still wanted to try, so we took some friends back days later. This time I tried the crispy chicken sandwich (which people rave about) and my wife got the turkey club. The chicken sandwich was pounded thin, perfectly crispy without being chewy or too crunchy, and I loved the fermented hot sauce and aioli. I wanted to buy the hot sauce but it wasn't available for purchase at this location yet...soon I'm told. The turkey club was just ok and the problem seemed to be the flavor of the turkey. Maybe a fluke, maybe just not the flavor profile my wife liked, but we wouldn't order it again. The only con we came across was the service being pretty slow. The servers were very nice and the manager was fantastic, but it was hard getting drink refills, etc, when we sat inside and on the patio. The restaurant is still pretty new, and having worked in hospitality, I know there are always growing pains at new restaurants. Overall the menu is great at Superba and the food was very good. There is a ton we didn't get to order but wanted to, and the baked goods all looked delicious. Once they have the kinks worked out we'd try again.

Yelp
Adorable place in the commons with lovely outdoor dining and vibrant interior design! At first glance the menu looked simple but once we got our plates we were delightfully surprised with the unique flavor and preparation of each dish. - The Smoked Fish Tartine: really unlike anything I've tasted and the presentation was so cool. So savory and tangy- if you like tuna with mayo or lox bagels then this plate is for you! - Big Boy Breakfast: has super fluffy eggs and the potatoes were perfectly toasted and soft inside. It also came with some unique steamed greens which I thought was very healthy! Kouign Amann: very yummy and sweet, and pretty big! Loved the caramelized bottom. I def want to try more of their pastries. - Crispy Chicken Sandwich: delicious crispy mild spicy chicken on toasted buns with a really delicious aioli! A little dry but if you order extra ranch aioli then it def makes up for it. I came here twice and both times there was something off about the service, like the first time it took too long and the second time the server was kind of cold tbh. But what makes up for it is the attentive managers who come to check up on each table and are were very kind. The prices are also so descent for the quality and flavor you're getting. The first time I visited, the food took a bit long to come out so they gave us a free brownie on the house to make up for it. Would def come back tho!!

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Saturday around 12pm. It was pretty busy. I didn't have a reservation. Luckily the wait was only 20 min and they texted me when my table was ready. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and my friend got the chicken chopped salad. The chicken sandwich was great, it was fried chicken but still super juicy, juice was dripping down. Whatever sauce they used for the sandwich was amazing, super flavorful. The fries it comes with were amazing. They had vinegar on them so they tasted like salt & vinegar chips. They were a bit spicy because they put red chili flakes with the vinegar so just a warning. My friend really liked her salad. The manager or owner, whoever was walking around, was really nice and great. He was walking around tables and checking in with people. Our waitress disappeared for long periods of time, though she was nice. That's the only reason I knocked off a star. Took a while to get water and the check. The food came out quickly though thankfully. I think they just need more wait staff because they were busy. I'm still upset that this place replaced the beloved le pain quotidien, but it was altogether a great meal.

Yelp
I've been here twice and have had a great experience both times, once with my family and once on a date night. Their food is delicious and was enjoyed by everyone. The service is amazing and everyone is so nice. I didn't try it myself but I heard the burger is incredible. My favorite entree is the crispy skinned rainbow trout. Soooooooo gooooood. Like so so good lol. The breads and spreads are also delicious. Honestly everything is. Highly recommend!!!!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday at around 12:30pm and waited about 20 minutes for a table. They have an indoor space and a large outdoor patio space as well. We sat indoors as that was what became available first. It was cute and we really enjoyed the art that they had around the restaurant. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the egg white frittata. The food was really fresh and we could taste all the different vegetables in each dish. They did a really great job of making everything taste very clean and making sure there were different textures in every bite. The burrito wasn't too mushy because they had done a great job of toasting the tortilla. And the egg frittata had small bites of crunchy watercress in each bite. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals! I would say the only miss was that service was very slow. No one checked in on us between our meal and we had to flag down a server to get our check. Everyone was nice but it would have been a little better if they were just a bit more attentive. But they just opened so hopefully this will be corrected with time.

Yelp
Superba is my favorite restaurant in Calabasas. The patio is delightful for outdoor dining when weather is not too hot. Service is exemplary. Every bite we've had here has been delicious. Especially love the Kale Salad and the Pistachio Tagliatelle. Good wines by the glass. Stop by early in the day to get a Levain sourdough loaf or a sourdough baguette to take home. You can order on their site for faster pickup.

Yelp
Cute new spot at the Calabasas Commons. Very busy on a Tuesday during lunch. We were greeted by the hostess and were told we would have to wait 15/20 minutes. We were sat outside with no shade, many of the 2 people tables had no shade. Our waitress was very sweet. We ordered two Spanish lattes, the breakfast burrito, egg toast and the potatoes. It was ok, nothing I'll dream about and have to have again. You're paying for ambiance here that's it. The food was mid.

Yelp
What a lovely lunch date with my husband. After going to the farmers market in Calabasas we came to the commons to have lunch. We saw this place and decided to give it a try. I'm so happy we did. First of all the service was amazing. From the hostess to the waitress and everyone in between were amazing. Our waitress Felicia was friendly and attentive. The food was really good. We ordered iced coffee and cappuccino. Both very good. Them for a starter we got the bread rolls with cheese and honey on the side. It was soooo good. A must try. Then we shared a chicken chopped salad and the smoked fish Tartine. Both very flavorful, fresh and delicious. The perfect amount of food for lunch for the two of us. Everything on the menu looks great so we will be back to try other items. They also have freshly baked bread, croissants, cookies, and other sweets. We sat at the patio area which was beautiful with plants all around the table. The ambiance was amazing. Indoor seating is beautiful but a bit too crowded I would say. But overall a great place to eat and spend some quality time with family or friends.

Yelp
Came here with my parents for a little birthday lunch and left so impressed. The food was great--chicken sandwich, club, and a burger that was cooked perfectly. The fries with lemon-salt seasoning were addictive, and the orange cinnamon loaf (or maybe it's called a sticky bun?) was a delicious sweet ending. But the real highlight of the entire visit was our server, Taida. From the second we sat down, she was warm, sweet, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She didn't just take our order--she took the time to chat, check in often, and make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt like "just a job" to her. You could tell she truly cares about her guests. It's people like Taida who make a restaurant stand out. Great food will bring you in once, but great service will bring you back over and over. She made our birthday lunch feel special, and we left smiling because of her. Management--hold onto her, because she's a gem! Will definitely be back, and next time I'll be asking for Taida's section.

Yelp
Came for brunch with our granddaughters. We had a reservation which they honored - Nice! My wife and I shared the breakfast burrito ($18). A bit on the pricey side for a breakfast burrito but it was huge and very tasty. One granddaughter got the lots of grain hotcake ($20). It is a HUGE pancake with lots of grain. Really quite tasty. And too much to finish in one sitting. The patio is lovely with umbrellas providing the needed shade. Service was excellent throughout. So if everything was that good, why the loss of one star. Because when I looked at the check after I got home, I found a 3% add on for "Happy and Healthy Surcharge." WTF is happy and healthy surcharge? And why was it added to my bill with no explanation. Very tacky.

Yelp
It was first time that I came to Superba restaurant for breakfast. The service was great, and food was so delicious and the plate design was fantastic. I enjoyed with my husband this morning breakfast. I recommend to come this restaurant.

Yelp
What an epic disappointment! We were anticipating a fun celebrate for our daughter's 16th birthday at Superba. The five of us ordered multiple dishes to share, made difficult when the server refused to bring us serving utensils or have the chef slice our large steak for better family-style sharing. The food was good, yet forgettable. Our waitress was terrible! Despite asking the restaurant to bring a dessert with a candle to commemorate the birthday (happy to pay- expected nothing gratis), they refused and brought us our bill without asking anyone in our party if they would like dessert. Our daughter ended up in tears on her 16th birthday due to the horrible experience. 1/10, Cannot recommend. The restaurant was virtually empty and lit like a diner, so we can't be the only people who experienced something similar.

Yelp
Fowas good, not great. Service was friendly. Not worth a return trip. A lot of competition in the Commons.

Yelp
We had a great experience at superba! We walked in with a party of 6 for lunchtime on a Saturday and were seated outside immediately. They have limited seating inside if you are a bigger party but it's usually fine because they're outside seating areas really nice. Their service was great and food was good as well! They also have a solid kids menu. Would definitely recommend coming here for a brunch situation. They have great coffee drinks, and pastries as well!

Yelp
Went back for dinner and everything was excellent. Got a nice spot on their large, dog friendly patio and was greeted warmly. As for the food we enjoyed: - Kale Salad w/ raisins, pine nuts, etc. Dressing was on point. Good to share - Chicken Schnitzel - crispy w/ beet tahini. Not greasy at all. Yummy. - Pistachio Pesto Tagliatelle - WOW -- very different and amazing! The Iris 2021 Pinot Noir was also very good and light bodied with no bitter aftertaste. I see why this place is doing so well as they really know what they are doing. Starts with management as everyone from the waitstaff to the cashiers to the hostess are professional.

Yelp
I love this new spot in Calabasas. The rigatoni was absolutely delicious the sauce was so good and the ratio of noodle to sauce was perfect. It was literally the best i ever had. I also got the gem salad with peas and asparagus. There are a ton of healthy options for my vegetarian husband and the bread was so good. He ordered the black kale salad. They have a solid kids menu too. I love the unique light fixtures and sofas. Everyone was very nice. Great service.

Yelp
The food was delicious! I got the sea bass which came in a creamy tomato sauce, which was literally amazing. Then ordered a side of the Brussels sprouts that came with grapes, which Ive never had this way before and now it's the only way I want them! My friend enjoyed her chicken schnitzel which to me didn't seem as amazing as mine but she loved it so that's all that matters. Went mid week and was pretty quiet. But maybe weekends it gets more crowded. The foods delicious but not cheap. $50 a person without any alcohol.

Yelp
Came for a nice brunch with my family and we were seated outside in the sun which was nice- however they do have ample umbrellas and shade. The service was good, although when we first sat down we weren't offered water until we asked which still took a while to get after asking. I also asked if they serve micheladas which I don't think the waitress knew what that was bc she responded by saying they don't have a blender lol.. anyway the food was very good and fresh tasting. The salsa that came with the burrito were a nice spice level. The Brussels were delicious and paired well with the grapes. All good would come back!

Yelp
We decided to give Superba a try for breakfast since it's a new spot in the area. We went on Easter Sunday around 9 AM -- it was quiet when we arrived but picked up and got fairly busy within 20 minutes. The place itself is very clean and has a relaxed, unique vibe in terms of decor. It feels like the kind of place you could come with friends or family. We came with our toddler and noticed another couple there with their toddler as well, so it's definitely family-friendly. The food was good -- not mind-blowing, but solid and very well presented. You can tell they put effort into the visual aspect of each dish, which is always appreciated. Prices were average for Calabasas/LA... dining out is just pricey these days, so it's kind of expected at this point. One thing to note: they add a 3% health surcharge to the bill. I didn't notice it until after, and while I'm sure I could've declined it, I just missed it -- note to self to check receipts more closely next time. We sat inside because it was chilly outside, but oddly enough, it felt colder inside. I would've expected the indoor temp to be warmer, so that was a little uncomfortable and unexpected. Would I come back? Probably. It's a nice spot to have in the neighborhood and worth trying at least once.

Yelp
I sat outside with my giant schnauzer and the staff immediately brought him a bowl of water, which was such a thoughtful touch. I ordered the Superba Grain Bowl and added falafel, while a friend got the burger and another friend had the chicken sandwich. The falafel came out overcooked at first, but when I mentioned it to the staff, they handled it wonderfully--offering to either take it off the bill or replace it. I chose the replacement since I really enjoy their falafels, and when the bill came, they had both replaced it and removed it. That level of care doesn't happen everywhere, and I truly appreciate it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the service made the experience even better. Congrats to owner Paul Hibler and his team on opening the new Calabasas location--I've always been a fan of his restaurants, and this one is a fantastic addition to the Commons.

Yelp
Food is absolutely delicious!!!! The Umami Salmon Bowl has a perfect blend of flavors and the salmon is perfectly cooked (nicely charred). Great ambiance!! The service (especially when waiting for the check) makes it a 4 star experience for me. And not sure what the extra $2.90 fee for HAPPY + HEALTHY SURCHARGE 3% is for on the bill!!??!! Look at your check before paying and ask your server that question.

Yelp

Yelp
I don't usually write reviews after just one visit, but I'll make an exception for Superba. We went for lunch today. Beautifully decorated. Light and festive feeling. Attentive staff and management. Plenty of healthy choices on the menu. I had the chicken chopped salad (can't remember the exact name) and it was fresh and delicious. I ordered a piece of bread with the salad and it was a large, toasted to crunch perfection slice of French type bread that nicely accompanied the salad. My lunch mate ordered the tuna melt and he thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, he thought it was better than the tuna sandwiches at other places in the vicinity. I think the bread makes the sandwich, and it certainly looked good. Will be back. I think this place is a winner.

Yelp
Amazing service at their location! Our hostess Keller, has great service, she's super friendly and attentive! She would pour my group and I water while our waiter was busy! Amazing hospitality as well, gave us such great recommendations for the menu! The tuna sandwich was immaculate, perfect, and so filling! Will be back 10/10 food and service

Yelp
I visited on a Monday morning with no wait. The breakfast burrito was delicious, and the staff was friendly. I'd definitely return.

Yelp
Was looking for a new brunch place and came across this place. There is outside seating but it was warm so we decided to sit inside decor is fun. We ordered the egg white frittata, breakfast burrito, side of potatoes and the cinnamon sticky bun. The food was amazing and the burrito came with this delicious spicy garlic sauce. Definitely will come back for the food. The reason why I gave 4 stars is the service was really slow and there wasn't that many people inside and out. Heads up there was a 3% appreciation fee that was automatically added but you can ask to remove it.

Yelp
Loved the food and the atmosphere. Had breakfast with my wife and everyone was nice and friendly here. Will comeback.

Yelp
Brunch food is quite good. Service can be spotty. Coffee is great. If the weather is nice, outside seating is the way to go.

Yelp
Kayla was our host. She greeted as kindly warmly, and you know she was tasked with the job of trying to see a lot of finicky people....I give her a lot of props for being able to handle that. I was one of those people I didn't like where the seats were available and I wanted to sit somewhere else and then when I sat there, I actually ended up moving again...I appreciate Kayla maintaining a good attitude. The ambience is really cool dining alfresco you can even sit inside, but inside was really really really really cold when I say really, really, really really cold. I mean like it had to be at least 68° but I'm not a meteorologist. I have no idea how cold it was really and then it was weird because the sun was outside and it was a little bit warm, but all in all the food was delicious. I loved their green juice and their beet juice. We ordered a breakfast burrito with avocado and bacon on the side. It was good, very filling. We also ordered two bloody Maria's. That is where they get four stars. I know that the bartender was also making coffee drinks. He's the barista as well but... I don't know what he gave us and I'm not wanting to complain. It has to be really bad for me to complain. But the bloody Maria was really not a bloody. Maria wasn't even bloody at all. I mean that the tomato juice stuff was like not right and I'm not sure if he gave us the Casamigos tequila that we ordered because it didn't taste like it I don't know the drinks not drinks. The cocktail was weird Not a fan. I was told they had a full bar, but that was not a bloody maria. Other than that, everything was great for the most part Will I go back probably not simply because if you can't make a drink then I don't want to eat at your establishment.

Yelp
Alright - finally got around to eating here today. Went with friends so I had the full experience. The service was pretty good. The food was ok. Not what I expected for the prices and not really justifying the cost. I mean yes we get prices driven up because of where we are but we have also come to expect more for the money. The manager didn't seem to care much and there was a general lack of enthusiasm for our patronage however we enjoyed the lovely sunny day and sat Outside to catch up on conversation and brunch. I wouldn't rush to go back however the food was pretty good- just not at the level I was expecting for the prices. Will likely go back anyway and try something else and see how that is. I do think the patio setting is lovely but they need a few more umbrellas as it's going to get extremely hot soon and it will not be nice getting your face sunburnt while eating brunch.

Yelp
Came here with high expectations given the prime location and all the glowing reviews. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the buzz. My friend had the chicken schnitzel, which was dry and lacking in flavor. A few others in our group ordered the rigatoni bolognese--it was decent, but nothing to write home about. I went with the pistachio pesto tagliatelle, which had a nice texture and a subtle pistachio flavor, though nothing particularly memorable. Overall, the food quality felt a bit underwhelming for the price point. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly didn't justify the cost. Probably won't be back.
