On the Grid : Superfine

"Superfine is one of DUMBO's only true "dive bars" with special guest: tasty food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is laid back with an upscale feel, and we hear the breakfast burrito is to die for. Local, revolving art, farm to table food and live music add to Superfine's casual character. Definitely worth checking out on a rainy Tuesday evening for happy hour." - Column Five

Where to Get Cocktails in NYC This Fall | Eater

"Sometimes, options can feel crippling. Superfine in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood has a daily menu with rotating delicacies, as well as a full list of freshly made cocktails. The Apple Brandy Side Car with Grand Marnier and cinnamon is about as fall-flavored as you can get." - Vox Creative

We really enjoyed our time at your place! Many thanks to the waitstaff for the friendly atmosphere and warm smiles. The food was good, interesting, and unique. The potatoes in the Google photo don’t look very appealing, but once you try them, you just can’t stop — they are delicious! We liked everything. Thank you ☀️

Service and atmosphere were good. Staff was nice and attentive. We tried the seared sea scallops for an appetizer and they were delicious. For main we had the burger with fries - it was good but the fries were very, very oily. Worst part was that 30 min after we left the restaurant both of us had to rush to the bathroom with upset stomachs. Bar area looked pretty cool. Next time we will try it just for drinks.

Very informal setting with a fairly cheerful staff and live music. One of the best outside food we have had during our current New York trip. My wife had French toast which she loved and I had an omelette which was good although since it didn't have bread with it I sort of didn't feel fully satiated. The other two people in the group had burrito dishes which were covered in melted cheese etc and had to be consumed with the help of a knife and fork but they loved the taste. Definitely wouldn't mind revisiting the place again during our next trip.

Google
Superfine is a well-established eatery that has exceeded my expectations, having been in business for 25 years. The service is incredibly friendly and warm, a quality that simply can't be feigned. The burger and fries are absolutely delicious, though the non-alcoholic beverages didn't quite suit my taste.

This is the most successful place right now!!! This was my favorite place, the most wonderful place on the block. Today was horrible, the waiter was boorish to me, this is the worst visit ever. It was the 8th visit with my friends. The waiter is a scammer and added things to the bill that we didn't order! When we turned we were told that we would not be served in this establishment again! We demanded to remove the tip from the bill. Boorishness, aggression, shouting - our evening was ruined.

Even though I wish there were some more vegetarian options, the atmosphere and the staff were great. Definitely would come back!

We heard so much about the Music/Entertainment here. We tried it out on a Friday night which was kind of a regular night next to an engagement party happening in the front. ( actually really nice vibe. Congrats to them) I heard the brunch on the weekends is when it is more lively. We entered and the bartender directed us up the ramp to the host for seating. Really nice decor and waitress was very nice. We have to go back to see how the brunch is.

This place saved my son's 10th birthday--and possibly my marriage. For my son's 10th birthday I booked a Beat the Bomb: Slime experience for 11 kids. I told my husband he had one job: to book a restaurant for lunch after. He booked Love and Dough on OpenTable and confirmed it in the morning. When I showed up today to frost cupcakes and set up the table, the staff told me I had to call the manager. He informed me that surprise! It was a prix fixe, $50 per kid. I have no problem with a restaurant having a prix fixe for large parties--they should just tell you that when you book or confirm. I said no one told us that and it wasn't what we had planned for and the manager said "I know, you wanted something cheap. This is not a cheap place." I said "can I make a suggestion--you should limit your OpenTable reservations to smaller parties then" and the manager said "I don't need your suggestions" and, while I went looking for other restaurants, had the staff kick my 70 year old mother in law and 13 year old daughter out into the street holding cupcakes and presents. I stumbled into superfine to ask if they could take us. Not only did they whip up a table for 14 with no notice they printed out menus with my son's name and Happy Birthday on them at the top. They made special orders for the kids, all the food was delicious (especially the shoestring fries) and every staff member was so nice to us. This place is a gem (and that's not just the Winter Spritz talking). They reminded me there are good people (and delicious food) in the world. I will be forever grateful to them. If you're considering coming here, do.

Yelp
This is super rare that I would rate somewhere so high and I'm not a huge fan of the food or drink I ordered. I loved the interior of this place. I was a little shocked when someone walked out from the cabinet under the bar lol but the bartenders had such great energy. Special shoutout to Kate, she was on top of everything and I actually am now going to refer to my friend as a camel - I couldn't believe how much water he was drinking - and she was somehow right there every time to refill the glass even with a full bar. Now the drinks - I was drinking margaritas and it must be the mix they use that I'm just not a fan of. They weren't bad but they kind of tasted like one that comes in a can. My first bartender (I didn't get his name) did remake mine and I will say it was better but more tequila is always better so? If you're okay with well liquor then the happy hour is a good deal. I only ordered the chips with salsa and guac. 5/10. You can tell the chips are homemade but they are super hard and have no flavor. The guac was pretty good but the container is small and the salsa has a zero spice level BUT to be fair it is labeled as roasted tomato salsa on the menu. I added some hot sauce and it tasted SO much better. I was pretty hungry but I was nervous to order anything else. A jazz band started playing towards the end of our time there which was amazing! I'll definitely be back to try other drinks and food.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant about a month ago in Dec 2024. We made a reservation at this place to meet with family. I am from out of town and this was our only visit to Brooklyn. Overall I found the place to be pleasant. The rating of 3 stars is because I didn't really find any of the food that memorable. I remember being somewhat disappointed by the calamari but then somewhat impressed with the Mac and cheese. Nothing was bad, but nothing to write home about. I did think they had a pretty decent beer selection and I was able to find a unique IPA that I enjoyed.

Yelp
Found this place by chance, it was crowded and loud and there was a local grassroots band playing. We were able to get a table and placed our orders. The menu had a variety of items. My dish was good but it was swimming in sauce, not much rice but it was filling. The food is supposed to be farm to table. It served its purpose of providing a satisfying meal.

Yelp
Or group stopped by for a bit and was surprised with a blue grass band playing in Dumbo area! Everyone was very friendly and we happened to grab the only available table left. I ate the hamburger with shoe string fries and a Brooklyn Brown ale. Inside had cool decorations and the bar has a high side and a low side.

Yelp
I came here on a Thursday night around 7:30. We were seated right away. The restaurant had a cozy, upscale pub vibe. There seemed to be a private special event going on and there was a live band, which created a nice ambiance. They have a pool table in the front of the restaurant. To drink, I had the Big Brooklyn Apple. None of the flavors came through. It tasted like a watery mimosa. I wouldn't recommend it. To eat, I had the spaghettini. It was delicious. The firm noodles were tossed with broccolini, cauliflower, onions, and parmesan cheese. It was light, but flavorful. My sister got the pork chop and loved it. The accompanying mac and cheese was tasty, with a sharp Vermont cheddar. Our servers were very friendly. My expectations were exceeded!

Yelp
Superfine has a perfect corner location just under the bridge. The outside is quite deceiving; however, the doors open up into a fairly large bar and dining area which can accommodate a few large parties. The decor has a a very eclectic vibe with colorful eye-catching art sculpted on the walls of the bar. There is also live music, and you may even catch a glimpse of the owner singing on stage. This place can get very busy, which actually may enhance the energy depending on what you're looking for. I found myself just looking around at times taking in everything around me. I cannot comment on the food since all I had was a slice of wedding cake ( hint* I was there for a wedding celebration), but I would definitely check this place out again.

Yelp
This place has such a cool layout and atmosphere, as well as a nice pool table. The wait staff are friendly. The food that I tried was just very mediocre - other than the shoestring fries which are 10/10. I will probably come back someday just for the bar, but will eat dinner elsewhere. Tortilla soup came out lukewarm Burger was dry and came without any Mayo or condiments Enchiladas were bland Tacos were mealy and soggy
google avatar

Yelp
Came in for some dinner based on a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. We opted to sit by the bar for some much needed alcoholic beverages after a long day at work. After a few drink I decided on the Pork Chop with Mac-n-Cheese. This a hands down the best pork chop I've ever had. Thick, cooked to perfection, full of flavor and very moist. If I find myself back in NY I'll definitely be going back.

Yelp
I loved everything about Superfine from the fairy lights out side to the cool artwork & really friendly staff. This area does not seem to have that many casual, down to earth spots and escape the deafening noise from above, but Superfine is that place for sure. Might I add reasonable drinks too ? We were meeting a large group for a celebration and arrived a bit early to start our Fri-Yah. Interesting bi-level bar, a few seats up, a few seats down and a whole lot of cozy tables & a pool table. The food was delicious, we had an enormous tray of meats & cheese & sliders, veggies & vegan pasta which a fat rigatoni with peas and lots of caramelized garlic. Plates were cleared quickly, with a smile. When in DUMBO, this would be my go to.

Yelp
Great service, attentive and welcoming. The space is dynamic, with different almost separate areas throughout. The food was ok, not great unfortunately. Would suggest for drinks if in the neighborhood. There's some outdoor seating, right next to the train overhead.

Yelp
Came to Superfine recently in the dumbo area and it was very cute and fun inside. A great environment for a nice but also casual dinner. I tried the sea bass tacos and they were great! The fish was perfectly cooked and all the taco toppings were tasty. There was no cilantro which was great for me since I don't like cilantro. Also tried some of their chips and guacamole and wine. All was good! Service was very friendly and accommodating. They did a good job handling our bigger table. A great choice for larger group dinners!

Yelp
I have passed this place multiple times when I'm in Dumbo and in the summer at key lunch hours / early dinner, it is always packed. So when I was in need of a late lunch and it was available for cash back on the Seated app, I decided to finally try. I typically ask people what are the special/most popular items on the menu are to set expectations. But because they are farm to table, their menu changes constantly. From the menu that day, I decided to get the scallops and an entree of the burger with cheddar cheese with super fine fries , a Paloma and a chocolate orbit cake. The biggest stars to me were the fries and the scallops. If I could have a full entree of the scallops I would because the execution was top tier. The addition of the lime and the fried green tomatoes set it off well. The fries are super fine (in terms of size and taste) and I couldn't stop eating them. The burger was okay and the meat was cooked to my specifications. I had better Palomas and maybe I would choose a wine since they have a list. The orbit cake was a cute way of ending the meal. The vibe of the place is really unique. I like that they have a ramp so people can go up. I like the decorations that are filled with nostalgia (70s Charlie's angels, Lynda Carter Wonder Woman, etc.). Overall, I think this is a general cute place to go to for a bite to eat. Maybe for a beer/wine with a friend

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick dinner and got some tacos and a couple of drinks with friends. I'd say this was more of a bar than a full restaurant but the vibes are pretty cool. There's a full bar and a pool table but unfortunately the food was pretty meh. We ended up ordering tacos which were ok but didn't have much flavor and there wasn't any guacamole like they listed on the menu. We also got the gnocci and grilled calamari which were good and better than the tacos themselves. Food was a 3.5 overall. We tried using the Yelp offer of a free glass of wine with purchase of an entree but our waiter told us the offer is no longer available which was disappointing. Overall service was super slow and we ended up waiting more than 45 min to get our appetizers while the restaurant wasn't even full on a Tuesday night.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite after checking the DUMBO area and there were lots of people here for a small bite or drink. We decided to stick with just food for the day and tried a little bit of everything. Got the calamari and scallops for the table to share. Got the cheeseburger and spicy meatballs while friends got the gnocchi and flank steak sandwich. I would say all the food was quite average. The scallops were fresh and had a nice bounce to them. The calamari was different from what we were expecting but it was okay. The meatballs and gnocchi were good and the sandwiches were just average. The thinly cut fries were great and was so easy to eat. The atmosphere/space is hip, very much in line with the vibes in Dumbo. Service was a bit slow and we had to get the server's attention a couple times but not a big deal - they were nice.

Yelp
This place is a very comfort chilled place to have a meal. The brunch menu has some great options like burgers, pancakes and eggs. There is beer on tap and live music! The staff is super attentive and very patient. This is a kid friendly place so don't be shy to bring your kiddos over

Yelp
I love this place! My sister and I went to the Dumbo flea market and stumbled in for some drinks. We ended up going back twice more while I was visiting Brooklyn. Our server (Asa?) was phenomenal. She chatted with us outside and was so funny. I believe we had several espresso martinis and a few margaritas. The drinks were amazing! The outdoor seating is minimal but the interior is huge!! Plenty of spots around the bar and a lot of seating.
google avatar

Katie K.

Yelp
I came here after walking around the dumbo flea market just looking for a bite to eat and some time to kill. I got mahi mahi tacos and fries and drank some tea and while I was enjoying my meal people started playing pool next to me and a few moments later there was a band on stage playing the saxophone and piano. It was exactly what I was looking for on my rainy day in Dumbo.

Yelp
The food was absolutely incredible and the atmosphere and service was just perfect!! the french fries were everything. the most perfect. Definitely will be coming back! I love it here.

Yelp
Walked into the restaurant. Sat at a table and ordered. Watched multiple tables come in after me and order, even a large group of 7. Food was sent out to other tables that came in after me before I received my food. I asked the waiter what happened, and he said "the other table got my food". Not a great way to approach a guest that's been waiting 30 minutes for just wings. Won't go back again. AVOID this place at all cost. Seats where falling off. My white pants were dirty from the seat. The beer was not even cold on this 95 degree day. I have more but I think everyone gets the point.

Yelp
I walk down to DUMBO often, and always am looking for a place to eat that isn't fast food (pizza, Sweetgreen) or really expensive. People seem to like having drinks at Superfine, vibe is cool and so I invited a girlfriend to join me for dinner last night. She ordered a sparkling wine cocktail, which she said was delicious and we ordered grilled calamari for the table to share. I love calamari and was happy to see an option that wasn't fried, but this was almost like ceviche. Not really grilled at all, but the flavor was good. I had a Little Gem salad as my main and it was not great. "Croutons" were two pieces of toasted bread and I couldn't get the waiter to return with salt and pepper so I had pepper on the last few bites of my salad. Friend had pork quesadillas which she liked but the presentation seemed underwhelming to me. For dessert we shared a ginger pot de creme with cookies, but they were out of cookies so it came with some fudge bites. The dessert was pretty flavorless. Service was pretty inattentive and the food was not particularly inspired at Superfine. Bummer. I was hoping it would become my local new dining destination.

Yelp
Stopped by on our way to the Brooklyn flea market since its right across the street and it was really good! I looved the pancakes - they were so fluffy. Staff was very friendly, and there was also live music halfway through our meal!

Yelp
Really cool rustic vibes indoors, so it would be a fun bar to hang out at. This review is for outdoor seating. Superfine outdoor seating is split up into 2 sections- sidewalk seating (minimal and slightly cramped) and covered street seating (more spacious. Both are rain friendly. Their outdoor seating is also dog friendly. Loved the elote- highly recommend. The corn was nice and crisp and the arugula was a nice touch. However, I would pass on the burgers. The burgers, despite being restaurant priced at $15, tasted like they were from a backyard bbq. I love me a good backyard bbq, but I don't want to be paying $15 for that. There isn't anything super special about the burger- the patty isn't uniquely spiced, there aren't any special sauces; it's just lettuce, tomato, and raw red onions. The bun was also not toasted, so it was kind of cold and not pillowy soft. Lastly, while I asked for my burger patty cooked medium, it came tasting well done. Bummer. But the shoestring fries it comes with are YUM. Very generous portion and beautifully fried. The cocktail selection here is fun and we really enjoyed the Guinness float, which is a nitro pour layered on top of a carbonated drink- either a hard cider or an ale. Really unique drinking experience and the flavors went really well together! Highly recommend. Would give it a 3.5 for the burger experience but raised to 4 for the vibe and for the great service. Also bonus points for being dog friendly outdoors (some restaurants are unfortunately not dog friendly, despite having outdoor seating).

Yelp
I'm sorry to say this place was not it.. Food was okay, I got the breakfast burrito and it was wet with green salsa which was okay . Burrito is huge filled with egg, sausage and beans and potatoes on the side you could share this dish.

Yelp
Superfine was super delicious. Just arrived in Brooklyn and walked in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised

Brighid O.

Yelp
Stepped in off the street and ended up with the kindest, most attentive bartender. Our party had joined to celebrate a dearly departed family member and we were lucky enough to encounter Michael. He not only made delicious drinks with kindness and keen attention but understood the difficulty we were experiencing and paid extra attention and care. He is a gem and I would return just for his service and kindness. Thank you Michael!

Yelp
Food was delicious! Decor was beautiful- urban, rustic, and inviting. Wait staff was friendly, and even honored a coupon that my friend had although she didn't order something that qualified.

Yelp
Went to Brooklyn for a work conference and stumbled upon Superfine. The menu sounded appetizing and the outside seating was exactly what we were looking for. I decided on the Risotto and my husband on the Fish Tacos. Both were flavorful and satisfying and I have been craving the Risotto ever since we left! I ate is so fast I didn't take any pictures of our food but it is definitely on the list to return to when in Brooklyn again.

Yelp
What a fun place to go to for New Year's Eve! There were burlesque dancers, drag queens and a fun live bar. Great place to ring in the new year!
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
I am sad to rate this restaurant a 3 star rating because food and vibe is actually good here. What disappointed me is that the restrooms are not kept clean and the waitresses often try to overcharge you. Pay attention to your bill or you won't get correct change from them. I am sure the proper training could fix these issues.

Yelp
We had the most incredible time here! We were a group of six of a chilly night and needed a place for dinner after walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. Nothing seemed to be open. It seemed kinda like a shady area and we were starting to get worried lol. We were standing right near this place when some guy that was smoking just outside walked in and we heard music! We asked if it was a restaurant or just a bar and he informed us it was a full restaurant. After not finding anything ourselves, we figured we'd try it out and get out of the cold. We had no idea what we were in store for! They didn't have seating available so we waited and got a chance to look around. The place is funky with ramps and stairs and a stage and there was a live band that played the most fun music as well as Christmas music (we were there in December so it was totally appropriate lol). The servers were singing and dancing and just having a great time. I was so excited and almost didn't even care if the food was any good. I was waiting for a table and already having a great time! They walked us up the ramp and sat us near the pool table! So fun! We had a great view of the place from where we sat and you can tell everyone was enjoying themselves! A quick scan at the drinks and food menus and our orders were placed. The drinks were a huge hit from the get-go! And the food?! INCREDIBLE! Y'all, I just about licked my plate! I had chicken and spinach and potatoes and ate.it.all!! I mean every bit I could scrape off with my fork! Everyone enjoyed their food and we stayed for quite a while singing and dancing in our seats! You can tell the employees enjoy working there and I'm sure they have regulars! I sure would be if I found myself in DUMBO often! This will be a must-stop for me any time I'm in NYC!! Can't wait to go back and try something new! I've been telling everyone about it that I know is going to New York! Seriously, it's that good! Great food, great service, great fun and ambiance! Can't ask for much more! Bookmark it and go! Trust me!!!!! (And take me with you!!!!) :D

Yelp
Super fine is super cool! Taco Tuesday menu. I had a Paloma cocktail. Cool mosaics on the wall of famous People. I was heading to a book signing so just ahead a drink. But there's a pool table. Serbs Really awesome place to hang out w friends. The mixologist was super friendly minus the girl at the front who served overwhelmed. I Always appreciate courteous service. Will have to come back w friends!

Yelp
Superfine is always a super good time. It's honestly one of the only reasons I would ever visit DUMBO. It has reasonably priced food and drink, and a great vibe as well. Service can be a little slow but if you live in DUMBO, you probably don't have other plans.

Solid place l. Went for a girls night out and it was a fun place to hangout and the food was great. Had the fish tacos that I would definitely recommend!

Yelp
We have been going to Superfine for years and eventually swore off the food, it was just always below average. On our last three trips we ordered some snacks then lunch then dinner and it was insanely delicious. I'm not sure what they have changed but it's really impressive lately. We hope it stays consistent!
google avatar

Yelp
Where else but at Superfine will you find a great late-night spot with a pool table? The bartenders here are extremely quick and friendly. Great craft beer and signature cocktails as well. Didn't try any of their food, but, had a great time listening to great music and beating every challenger in 8ball. I especially love how clean this place is and how the uneven bar is almost something out of an Olympics gymnastics rendition. Great ambiance and lovely vibe.

Yelp
Experienced the absolute worst tuna melt of all time at this place. Tuna tasted rotten and had an astringent taste that was inedible. Also ordered the Corn and Pablano chowder and that was awful as well...bland and flavorless. As a bonus, my family observed the food servers handling dirty used plates and then handling actual food. GROSS. AVOID at all cost.

Yelp
Walked in to Superfine last night after a day in Brooklyn and had a fantastic meal. I had been numerous times years ago when I worked in DUMBO one summer but hadn't been for about five or six years; it was just as good as I remember. We had a bunch of the Tito's and cucumber cocktails that are on the menu and they were tremendous, very refreshing and not shy on the booze. For apps we all split an order of the meatballs and the grilled cheese which had a really nice olive tapenade, both delicious. For my entrée I had a cheeseburger which is still just as good as I remember. Skinny yet super crispy shoestring French fries paired with the burger really set the dish over the top. Overall a great night. This is my go to restaurant whenever I'm in the area and I highly recommend.

Yelp
Love this spot. Great seating! You can play pool. The food and drinks are good and the people are also friendly and welcoming

Yelp
I was charmed by the woman checking my ID before I even stepped into the bar, who complimented my outfit and bantered with me about wacky fashion choices. This set me up for a chipper state of mind as I entered the long and narrow space. My group of 4 sidled up to the bar stools on the other side of the long bar, and our bartender chatted us up as we ordered shots and cocktails. Their beer menu was solid, we always easily got the attention of our bartender, even when the place started to fill up, and the prices were low. There was also no side eye given to our friend who only drinks non-alcoholic beverages. I can't speak about the food or the space as a performance venue, but I will say that the place felt very inclusive and warm, which I really liked.

Imani L.

Yelp
This was my first time here and it was surely a treat! There was a live band and a nice crowd because of the soccer game. It was a little noisy but given the circumstances of the game, why wouldn't it be? If sound bothers you though that's something to consider because of the live music. The servers and staff were so friendly. I felt comfortable and really enjoyed the atmosphere! The table was constantly checked on. A partner from the restaurant even came over and gave my friend a complimentary drink for his birthday and dessert which was so sweet!!! Okay now for the food. I got the special pancakes which were cherries. THE BOMB! I really had to slow myself down from eating too fast lol the steak and eggs was also delicious. It was cooked exactly to order. All of the table was satisfied with their food and drinks. I will definitely be back. Such a cute, comfy, and safe spot !!

Yelp
Updated Review (2019) I can say that this place is now 'super'. An 8-member group of us had brunch here, and I will say that the service and food were definitely top-notch. I do not think there were any complaints within the group about our dining experience. My small complaint is that the live band is a bit loud, but the kids in the restaurant seem to like it. Note: the restaurant is very kid-friendly. Also, I called the restaurant and the hostess, who was working brunch on 9/1, was super (see what I did ;) ), friendly and accommodating. If you are super hungry at brunch, I would highly recommend getting the pork chops and eggs. Man, that pork chop was HUGE and beautifully prepared. ---------

Yelp
I had to look up what burrata was . It's good. I usually fall into Superfine when I'm near dumbo or working in Brooklyn close by and want a drink before I go home. Never just for the food. So let's never say never - these meatballs w/ a dollop of burrata and marinara mmm just right. Try it or something else tasty from the happy hour munchies menu. No complaints

Yelp
Thursday takeaway dinner for two. 4 stars for solid food but 3 stars for service although the host was super nice. Really cute set up for outdoor seating with plants and hooks on the wooden partitions for your bags - chairs/tables are school chairs where the table connects. Very nostalgic. Ordered a chicken sandwich and the burger which were both delicious! The shoestring fries were plenty but a bit drenched in oil. A few complaints - the noise of the trains going over every few minutes; the sour server (still gave a good tip even though we took our food to-go) - maybe he was in a bad mood/irritated because of the constant overhead train noise. And I ordered a medium burger and I got medium-well and was missing PICKLES! Where are my pickles??? We had drinks while we waited - paloma was decent. Would be back for takeout again if I was very hungry.

Yelp
Shoestring fries. Get them! So thin, so tasty and stringy. Although we ordered the broccoli raab, the waiter accidentally brought us the Mac and cheese. But it was delicious, so serendipitously pleasant! Gem salad was light and tasty. The portobello was OK --taste-wise it was good, but could have used more mushroom and spinach in the sandwich. Overall would return!

Yelp
We stepped into Superfine by coincidence and were so glad that we did. It was some of the best food we had had during our vacation in New York. The flank steak sandwich was amazing and so was the pasta with meatballs. The waiter was friendly, the service was quick and the location very pretty. Definitely a recommendation for Brooklyn-visitors!
