Google
Nice people and cute place. I ordered the classic bowl and my husband got the macadamia bowl and a large peanut butter and jelly smoothie. My problem with this place was definitely the "acai" bowls, if I can even call them that. They were beautiful, topped with fresh fruit but the acai, which is the main part of the bowl, was so watered down that it didn't taste like anything and it had more liquid than normal, it melted right away. If you've had a real acai bowl you know the taste and consistency that it is, I know it melts but not at the rate this one did and again it was tasteless, not worth the money. This was our first time visiting and our last. 2 stars - 1 food - 4 service UPDATE 1 star - 1 food - 3 service ** As much as I appreciate replies on my reviews from owners I am sad that all this owner did was bash the other shops for absolutely no reason. Not very nice. I understand what a lot of businesses do to the acai bowls, and although it's not right, I have not had the pleasure to taste the competition, this is our first Acai bowls in Denver since we are new to the area and what a first impression this is. Dear owner, Unlike some people, I have tasted Acai bowls in a lot of different states including California, Hawaii, New Mexico, West Virginia and New York and yes you're right a lot of it can be sugar and blended but the best one I've had has been in Hawaii where some Acai is being grown. It is not fully tasteless, you said it yourself ALMOST tasteless and you've been to Brazil!! 🙌 There is a different flavor acai offers and it's not sweet, but it complements all the fruits on top nicely and the consistency of the real ones have all been close, not absolutely TASTELESS soup like I had in your shop today. I can respect how proud you are of your bowls and understand you will defend them however, I highly doubt every single bowl I have tasted in 5 different states hasn't been "pure" except for yours. As if you are the only shop in America to carry pure organic. I don't appreciate your suggestions for me to go buy some at the store assuming I don't know what it tastes like and wanting to educate me on the competition when I haven't gone to any of those places, instead all of it just makes you come off rude and for sure makes me never want to set foot in your shops but like I had already said we will not be visiting again.

Google
The food sounds more tasteful on the menu, I got a sandwich from here. And it sounded like a tasty snack. But in fact, tasted bland. I thought this was gonna be freshly made and toasted, 2 sandwichs for $34. Expensive and tasteless. Subway is better and cheaper.

Google
I’ve been to this place many times but today was the last time. 40$ for 3 bowls that lack on flavor and ingredients. The macadamia nuts for sure old taste bitter and ruined it more.

Google
I was helped by Evie and she was so sweet. I came her with my good buddy adela and she said it was the best smoothie she ever had. This place was very clean and I came out with a smile. Make sure to stop in and see Evie next time you’re craving some dank food!

Google
Came here twice while visiting the area. Excellent bowls! Was a little disappointed that the Superfruit's Wonder didn't come in a cored-out pineapple as advertised but no complaints other than that!

Blanca

Google
The store is really clean, the staff is really friendly and I enjoyed their açai bowls. They do have a lot of selections and add-ons. I like the location because you can get your bowl, eat outside, and enjoy the warm weather

Adrian Lucero

Google
I had a smoothie bowl for breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. The smoothie tech was patient and knowledgeable on the products offered in her store.

Eric Zaragoza

Google
This place was amazing and the costumer service was just amazing and the food was so good must try again!

Beto C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, I got a yogurt bowl, with a few add ones. Like spirulina powder. Strawberries, oats, tasted extravagant! Easy to read menu. Friendly staff!

Amithy J.

Yelp
This açaí is NOT good. There's no açaí flavor at all. The topping made it taste better but not by much. I wouldn't and won't be coming here again. Wasted my money. Customer service was great tho. I travel all over the US and make sure to try a bowl wherever I go. This is one of the worse. I don't like bowls with smoothie consistency either. Again...NO flavor. Gave it a one for customer service.

Saphace A.

Yelp
I really just wanted some fruits in my system to start the day. I came past 11am on a weekday and they weren't busy. I got a smoothie bowl called the Blueberry Pumpkin, which had blueberry and pumpkin seeds, of course, with granola and honey. I added mango, strawberry, and almond butter to it to make it more filling. I chose the large size and was pretty full! Then again, I wasn't feeling that hungry with the time zone change. The staff was super nice! I chatted with them about their recommendations for things to do in town. It's nice to have an option like this around. It's not a far walk from the block of hotels.

Alesandra C.

Yelp
Staff is always so welcoming and take the time to help me work through the menu (There are so many good options) The place is also always clean, which is a huge plus

Eilen S.

Yelp
One of the better tasting açaí bowls that I've had in Denver. I moved here from Miami where these bowls are very popular and in many cases are pretty healthy and low in sugar but my experience with other denver açaí places has been they are more like a super sweet dessert here. This spot doesn't load their bowls up all sugary. They had available parking right up from and the place was totally empty. I was assisted right away and ordered the regular size classic bowl. The regular size is super small. I'm not a big eater and this bowl left me hungry so I cannot imagine if you are super hungry you probably need two large size bowls to fill up.

Alexandra F.

Yelp
If you go get the large size! It's only dollar more and their servings are small! We got the small size because usually açaí bowls can be really large but the small size here is probably less than 1.5 cups. Plus the dollar extra is probably the only deal they have here, the tiny bowls were 10.25 each! I know the ingredients are pricy but usually for that price you get a much larger serving. As a personal preference I like a larger bowl so you can mix the ingredients easier and not have stuff fall on the table. However, both bowls we had were really delicious and I especially like that they had a macadamia bowl, one of the best nuts ever! We also had the 14'er, a much more traditional type bowl. Service was fine and it is in a convenient location with plenty of parking and tons of other restaurants, local and chain.

abby n.

Yelp
Overall the açaí bowls were pretty good and satisfactory. However, yesterday my service was not great. The person serving us was wearing an East high school sweatshirt I believe and was unprofessional. When I walked in with my guests and she was sitting on her phone at some table guests would eat at. After we received our orders she began recording our conversations and sending them to other parties. Unfortunately this ruined our experience and we will not be returning. We loved the food though which is unfortunate!

Christina Y.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Amazing people that truly care behind the counter. Great food with lightning fast service. Music is hip and cool.

Cassidy D.

Yelp
Acai is NOT good, very watery hardly any flavor. Toppings made the overall bowl very expensive and did not make it taste much better. Wasted my money. There was a mix up about the bowls I ordered and I found a hair in one of my bowls.

Evan S.

Yelp
Yikes! If you enjoy a small "large" serving of watered down açaí for $13 and then $1 for the tiniest drizzle of honey then this is the place for you. The manager/ lady training the two younger kids said it'll be another $1 for a table spoon of additional honey...paid it and then she corrected herself and said it's actually a teaspoon. DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY

Julie D.

Yelp
I had a regular size classic acai bowl with almond butter added. What a refreshing treat on a hot day! The regular size was just the right amount and I loved that the almond butter was frozen and cut into chunks. Service was helpful, friendly and fast. Thanks!

Steele F.

Yelp
Love this place and the friendly service! Everything is always fresh and yummy. I really like the acai bowls

Leiton C.

Yelp
Expensive compared to completion!! Only revive two fruits - then up-charge for a small quantity to be added! Way to pricey for what's received - GIVE more for those prices.

Ben W.

Yelp
Nice fast and healthy option. I like the classic. While it is all high quality ingredients and real food it is on the pricey side.

Mary O.

Yelp
Bowls had no flavors, they seemed watered down. Granola was just cheap oatmeal. Coconut flakes were crumbs of coconut. Overpriced $11 for 12oz bowl.would not recommend. Awful awful awful! Had to put one star but deserves 0

Blu M.

Yelp
The previous visit to Superfruit Republic was bad due to ordering a new menu item and I probably should have known better not to order it ( don't order the waffles). This place is known for their bowls so get those and nothing else on the menu because you may regret it. The bowls here are good, but they are a little bit on the pricier side. They provided a generous amount of blueberries, and the bowl was made to order. Overall very good. My advice again is to just stick to what they're known for which is their bowls.

Blanca U.

Yelp
The store is really clean, the staff is really friendly and I enjoyed their açai bowls. They do have a lot of selections and add-ons. I like the location because you can get your bowl, eat outside, and enjoy the warm weather.

Gloria D.

Yelp
Love the strawberry banana smoothie with acai! I'm sure everything else is tasty but I love that smoothie so much I never order anything else.

Kole F.

Yelp
This location is very convenient and has everything you need to get your day going! I always feel taken care of by their friendly staff and the delicious food is a plus. Always a very clean and comfortable experience.

Julie N.

Yelp
This location uses canned pineapple and canned mango. The bowl still tastes good though. They have snacks that are overpriced in my opinion, but they sounds yummy and pretty plain and easy to make on your own like avocado toast, hummus and toast, and almond butter with fruit and toast. Makes you feel less guilty than grabbing Cold Stone next door! Love the neighborhood this place is in. Great for families, couples, dates, and friend group gatherings.

Dave C.

Yelp
In any location, Superfruit Republic is a great spot to get your smoothie and/or acai bowl fix. This location is a little smaller, but it doesn't take away from how good these bowls are. My personal favorite bowl is the 14er, which my wife enjoyed when we stopped in. I recently broke my jaw, so I had the PBJ smoothie, which was exactly what I needed to break the monotony of my food life for the past few weeks. Service was fast, friendly, and we played a few games of Connect Four while downing our blended goodness. If you're not walking, this can be a little tricky to find with Google Maps, but trust me, it's there. It's in the middle of the "C" when you're driving by the shopping center.

Florence V.

Yelp
Don't you just love acai?? Well, if you love acai, try Superfruit Republic! They make the most delicious bowls and smoothies. The employees are super welcoming and offered a few suggestions when I asked what they recommended.

Amber C.

Yelp
Superfruit is super delicious! Dropped by Superfruit with my husband to get a couple of bowls last week. My husband got the 14'er bowl, while I got the new wonderbowl. Both were absolutely delicious and refreshing! The wonderbowl is acai with strawberries, pineapple, mango, banana, goji berries, granola, coconut flakes, chia seeds, and honey, all placed inside of a pineapple shell as a bowl. Not only was the presentation beautiful, but it tasted just as delicious as it looked! Unlike some other acai places, I prefer Superfruit because their acai is not overly sweet. Superfruit's acai is also very creamy in texture. My husband's 14'er bowl was delicious as well with blueberries, granola, coconut flakes, and chia seeds. My husband actually enjoyed the 14'er so much, that he said he would have it for dessert over ice cream, haha! (I'm not sure if I would agree because I'm obsessed with ice cream, but that's how much he loved it.) Looking forward to trying some of the other bowls that Superfruit offers. Also, acai bowls are known to be more pricey. I would say Superfruit's prices are comparable to other places, but Superfruit's acai is much higher in quality. By the way, if you check in with Yelp, you can get 20% off your first order!

Peter V.

Yelp
Great location, but not so great bowls.. I really wanted to like this place since it was so close to the house. After leaving the store and walking across the street to find a place to enjoy my bowl, it was already melted and watery. The bowl still had some favor when I tasted it. The fruit was soggy (probably soggy before being put in) and the taste was a bit bland.

Nancy Y.

Yelp
My daughter and I have been wanting to try a smoothie bowl and we are so glad we started with Superfruit Republic! The 14'er and Classic were both delicious and have turned us into Smoothie bowl fans! The honey used on both bowls had amazing flavor! This place is located in a trendy little area of Denver called Central Park.

Sophia S.

Yelp
I used to love coming here when it was under the old management, the food was soo good and they had great service. Now that the establishment is under new management, my experience has not been the same. The service is always subpar: the other day I came in and got a fruit bowl, as I excitedly received my bowl I looked down and saw a thick, black, long hair, when I asked for a new one I was greeted with resentment and an eye roll. I work in the restaurant industry and I understand that complications occur time and time again, however what I was not expecting was the distain and frustration for an unscathed bowl. Please do better super fruit. Love, A long time fruit bowl fanatic

Oscar S.

Yelp
Somewhat disappointed. I haven't been to this place since last summer. As a local customer I am used to their great product. However, today I ordered a regular macadamia bowl and the size of the bowl is a lot smaller than what it used to be for the same or slightly even higher price. Also the mix was super watery and with a lot less granola and fruit. Therefore was a shocking disappointment. I understand cost of living changes and adjustments etc, but would try to keep same sizes even if I have to pay a few cents extra.

Grecia P.

Yelp
Love this place!!! We ordered the blueberry pumpkin and the classic (+mango). Both were delicious and had a generous servings of toppings. It tastes great and you feel great after eating them, too. I didn't get her name, but the gal who was working is awesome! I feel bad that some punks had to go and ruin her day at the shop, but she was so kind and still provided great service. The shop is clean, has free WiFi, parking, and a few games. It's a good place to come hang out for a little while! I definitely want to come back to try a different bowl.

Katie S.

Yelp
I will say that their Customer service is excellent, and the two smoothies I have tried are pretty good. The açaí bowls on the other hand.. seems overpriced for the quantity. But I guess açaí bowls are always overpriced. I fully expected to pay more than I think is "fair" for a bowl of fruit, totally get that. But when the most standard bowl rang up at $10, I was like "wow this better be good," and then when they made it I saw that it's tiny!! The strawberries were so mushy and seemed old (see pic). I ended up picking them off.

sandy b.

Yelp
I've tried several delicious drinks and açaí bowl here and each treat was refreshing, healthy and delicious. I would try anything in their menu next time I return because all five of my choices were totally satisfying. If you're walking about downtown it's easy to go in and out, but by car parking is an issue at the Broadway location. That won't hinder my future visit since I enjoy exploring by foot.

Adam D.

Yelp
Superfruit Republic offers a new and unique food concept to the greater Denver area. This location in Stapleton - the first - precedes the newest location in the financial district which opened in April 2017, about one year after the first location. The motto, "Natural, Organic, Delicious" sums up my first and only experience here, but certainly not my last. Start by picking either acai and pitaya as your superfruit base, followed by a blend (banana and soy milk or else blueberry and apple juice), topped off with your choice of granola (original, chocolate or vanilla). I opted for an acai bowl with banana and soy milk and original granola. Absolutely delicious. Mix everything together and you'll experience a cool happiness in your mouth. Since the smoothies sounded so delicious in addition to the bowls, I went with the Apple Ginger Smith, which made for the perfect detox drink. I actually felt healthy after downing the 16 oz. small portion. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and as fast as he could be on what appeared to be a pretty busy Easter Sunday morning. The menu is certainly designed to get you in and out, but don't be surprised if your order takes a few minutes longer than you might have been expecting. This business clearly puts a great deal of care and attention into its product. The store itself is immaculate and obviously well-maintained. The Denver-related artwork in the bathroom, the dog treats at the entrance, the space on the wall reserved for local artists and local products for sale all provide very nice finishing touches with a hometown feel to either a great dine-in or take-out experience.

Johan W.

Yelp
One of the worst smoothie places in denver in my opinion. It's a nice location next to a park but this place is run by a bunch of teenagers who haven't been taught how to run a business, give customer support, or make a smoothie. My smoothie bowl had frozen chunks of fruit and basically wasn't blended at all. Also the prices are extremely high especially for what you get. I rather drive 5 extra minutes and get something decent than having to deal with them again. I love smoothies - just not this place.

Alisha H.

Yelp
The quality was good and so was the menu. I like that there are size choices. But overall, for as much as you get I think the price point should be lower.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Disappointed. I agree with Oscars comment below. I am a frequent customer and it seems like the amount in the bowl is less. I ordered a large classic acai bowl. The amount inside seemed like a regular size to me. I've ordered numerous of times before and the bowl seemed full. Now, it's not worth purchasing the large anymore. Quality is the same to me. @Chris- Thanks for the response. Sent a message to you on the website.

Meagan D.

Yelp
I had forgotten to bring breakfast (or lunch) to work & needed a vegan option fast; in comes Superfruit!! I saw them on GrubHub & thought something fruity and light sounded perfect. The staff in there were all super helpful! They answered my questions on what was vegan which was super sweet of them! The cashier also helped me choose between the waffle or the avocado toast, which I'm sure isn't in their job description, so I appreciate the help. I got the classic smoothie bowl & subbed the honey for agave, and for good measure I got the waffle which is gluten free AND vegan Everything was delicious! Refreshing & light, just what I was craving! Will deff be back!

Faith G.

Yelp
Girl at the front was very nice but the smoothies were the nastiest tasting smoothies I've ever had. Not sure if they forgot to add banana but there was no sweetness to either of our smoothies.

Denis Y.

Yelp
I've had better. Need to offer semi blended açaí bowl , for texture eaters . Ingredients were good though

Annette M.

Yelp
Great addition to the neighborhood. Nothing else like it close by plus friendly and prompt service. Nice and clean except for the one table full of crap, a laptop, papers and a big gulp. My guess is the managers desk is in the customer seating area... that was a big miss in my book. They have bowls, smoothies and oatmeal . Plenty to choose from to make it your own or they have several combos to choose from. Had the acai bowl and I think I will try the dragon fruit next time. Only thing I did not like was the acai had a few ice chunks.. like it was not fully blended. Can't wait to go back for another shot. Hope they remove the cluttered manager table/desk disaster by then and I'll be sure to ask for my bowl to be well blended.

Shayna D.

Yelp
For a $12 large açaí bowl, the açaí itself is pretty runny, they put maybe 1/4 cup of granola on the top with 1/2 banana and 5 slices of strawberry. It tastes fine but not really worth that much money for what you get.

Meagan E.

Yelp
Bowl was watery consistency, only got about 2 pieces of fruit, and ordered a "large" that was smaller than the palm of my hand. Will not be back

Christel T.

Yelp
I have been a faithful customer, in fact, this is the only place I go to for smoothies. Today was a bit different...didn't have the same young ladies blending my drink, didn't get the rewards points that prompted me to come here and my smoothie did not taste the same. I have to say this is the first time that I left disappointed. First by not giving me my free smoothie and second a smoothie that was too thick and not the same...Superfruit Republic, please take note, if it ain't broke please don't fix it because you have lost a forever customer.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
I was driving through the area and was craving a bowl, so I picked up a large tropical pitaya bowl and substituted the bananas for strawberries. The worker recommended the blueberry and apple juice with the pitaya, so I ordered that with chocolate granola. Next to the menu, they offer pictures of some of the bowls so you could see what you're getting. I thought the picture idea was great! The pitaya bowl was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, but it had flavor! It was mildly sweet, smooth, and rich in color so I know it wasn't diluted with a bunch of ice. The flavor of the fruit and blend were amazing and I would give that itself 5 stars. However, the skimp on the toppings, and even though I ordered a large, it was only filled a little more than halfway up the bowl. With the toppings and granola, it barely hit 3/4 full. I ended up finishing the large by myself, but didn't feel it was very filling. I wouldn't mind coming here if I was in the area, but at almost $10 a bowl, I would rather travel to a place I feel I was getting my money's worth.

Val P.

Yelp
I wish Superfruit Republic wasn't so far away from where I live! We had their special of the day, which was the purple pineapple smoothie and the pink paradise smoothie. We used a living social deal and can't wait until we are in the area again to try more! I want to try their bowls! With that said, here is what was in each of them: Purple Pineapple Smoothie: coconut H2O, coconut flakes, blueberry, and pineapple. Pink Paradise Smoothie: orange juice, pineapple, mango, coconut flakes, strawberries, and pitaya. Thank you for opening. I am in that area sometimes to pick up beer from breweries and definitely will make a stop in again!

Stephanie B.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now and every time has been spectacular! First and foremost, I totally crave superfruit's food. I usually hate waking up, but on the mornings I know I'm stopping here, I actually spring out of bed. I typically order their acai bowls, which are filled with fruit, granola and drizzled with honey. Sometimes I add some almond butter for extra protein and deliciousness. I get the acai blended with blueberries and soy milk and have found it consistently contains the perfect amount of sweetness. Almost like a frozen yogurt consistency, for those who haven't had it. They top it with Boulder granola (I love that they use local ingredients). The service is great! The first time I came I wasn't quite sure what an acai bowl was. The cashier was more than happy to explain my options and even offer a few samples. The prices are great as well. The steel cut oatmeal with fruit is a great deal, and I think it will become a go-to when I'm out of food at home.

Alexander C.

Yelp
Following a misunderstanding and somewhat negative my first time experience, My second time in and first time trying the smoothies I was compelled to update my initial review of Superfruit Republic. I am completely satisfied and happy with the customer service I received on behalf of the management and employees upon returning in to their establishment. All involved were able to make a bad situation into an excellent and, positive experience. I truly appreciate the length they went through to Reach out and address my concerns but, also ensuring I tried their product now becoming a happy and a repeat customer. They handled the situation exactly the way I expected it to be handled and in the manner I handle concerns my customers may have while shopping with my company. THANK YOU!!

Claudia M.

Yelp
I go to super fruit Republic at least once a week and order the same thing. Today I went I ordered and in less than a minute my bowl was ready which was unusual. When I opened it was completely melted. I don't know if it was someone else order they gave me or if they were just trying to save time by having the acai sit out. Really disappointed and only posting so that management doesn't let this continue since I love this place so much!

Nancy J.

Yelp
I love their smoothies just because they're yummy. Most recently I've been taking them to a friend going through chemo. He's a refugee from Cameroon & is missing his yummy fruit from home. The employees, each time I've gone in, have been helpful at suggesting smoothies that he'd find comforting.

Sade A.

Yelp
Literally the worst customer service I've ever received. I have to go to the downtown location to be talked to like a person because they treat you terrible here. Whomever is training these people at the Stapleton location must have forgot to make sure the employees have basic communication skills.

Lorella E.

Yelp
This is a rating for their Superfruits Wonder acai bowl. I was looking forward to my Postmates order but was greeted with an entirely flavorless bowl. The fruits as toppings were decent, aside from what looks like dried cranberries (ruined the taste for me). Sad day :-(

Christopher B.

Yelp
Anyone who's had Acai bowls from other places may agree with me that these are both bland and overpriced. I had the cocoa version and I was disappointed at how tasteless it was. Additionally, I was mortified - and maybe I shouldn't have been - when we saw the employees opening packs of frozen Acai that we buy from the grocery store for about a dollar a piece. That makes this roughly a 900% markup... can't say they don't have a good business model. Too bad their Acai bowls don't live up to that model as well.
