One of my most favorite shopping experiences in recent years! I got off work kind of late and wanted to check out vintage shops in Silver Lake, so checked Yelp and noticed supergoodie was close to me and closing within an hour. I got to the store shortly after that, so it was really only me and the owner Lynette. She had an amazing selection of all sorts of clothing and accessories, from casual to elegant, designer to not, good range of sizes, menswear, shoes, etc, and it was organized by color story, which was super fun. She was running a promo sale on sweaters so that's where I first started, but my favorite part of the experience was when she picked out clothes for me. She selected a long, tapestry-style coat that is a perfect in between layer and can be dressed up or down very nicely. I wouldn't have picked it out for myself but I'm so glad she did, as I'm guessing it'll become one of my favorite pieces over the next few years. In spending some time at the store we got to chatting, making the whole experience that much more fun. She even gave me some recommendations for other stuff in Silver Lake to check out, which as someone with limited time in the neighborhood I really appreciated. I would highly recommend checking out supergoodie and spending some time with Lynette if you get the chance!
