Delicious Tex-Mex found in Atlanta, Georgia at Superica! We went to the Superica in Avalon & had a wonderful lunch. This spot brings out 2 delicious complimentary salsas & salsa to start your meal off with. We also ordered the queso, which was fantastic! I was visiting a friend who is a local in the area & had eaten at this spot before. She recommended the fajitas or the enchiladas. I went with the lunch combo so that I could try both the Superica tamales & enchiladas. We also enjoyed house margaritas with Tajin on the rim. I would highly recommend checking out Superica in the Atlanta area if you are craving some Tex-Mex!

The chicken quesadillas were amazing with complete level of toppings! Amazing service with attention to details on anything we needed and suggestions on our drinks which were on point. Hibiscus margaritas were delicious. Atmosphere was modern charm. Enjoyable!

The place has a great vibe to it, food was good. The tacos were good but wish there was an option to choose multiple meat options . Overall a decent place for some good Mexican food.

Birthday dinner for 4 En route to Avalon, we joined the online waitlist prior to arrival. We were seated pretty quickly, but it was in an outside area that felt more like a dark alley, not the sunny spot we preferred. I asked if there were any available tables in the sunny section, but the host said there would be a long wait for that area. We decided to stay where we were. Our server brought over complimentary chips and salsa, and we added a large queso. She took our drink orders: my oldest got her favorite sweet tea, my youngest ordered a lemonade, I went for a Creature Comforts Tropicalia IPA, and Wifey chose a Gate City Pretty Bird Hazy IPA. When the large queso arrived, we started to regret it because it was HUGE and no one wanted to fill up on chips before our main entrees. We reviewed the menu and made our choices. My oldest and Wifey both ordered the Catfish Tacos, my youngest got the Barbacoa Tacos, and I opted for the Pollo Con Mole enchiladas. The food was slow coming out, but we were busy talking, so it wasn’t too bad. When everything finally arrived, we all had the same sentiment: the food was very good but had an unexpected kick of spicy heat. I wasn’t complaining though—I appreciated the heat. Everyone agreed it wasn’t overwhelming, just unexpected. We were celebrating Wifey’s birthday, so our server let us know the dessert would be complimentary. We decided to share a Tres Leches. The dessert also took a while to come out, but when it arrived, we sang “Happy Happy Birthday” and started to dig in. I guess it was a busy afternoon, so the service was slow, but everything was worth the wait.

Google
Wonder staff, great location, the food was delicious, skip the cocktails. The ceviche was completely different than what I am used to but it was so good that I been there twice for it. Enmoladas had a wonderful aroma and texture. Margarita... I don't recommend it. Skip it and get something else. This place does a brunch. I had their pancakes and they were huge and amazing

Google
It's very loud inside and the wait times are long, but the food and margaritas are worth it. I got the blackened catfish fajitas and a jalapeno margarita. They have some really good hot sauces and pepper purees if you like a little spice. The service is good too.

Google
I was pretty blown away. Everything was delicious. The queso fundido was excellent. Several cheeses melted down with some of the best flour tortillas I've ever had. Pork belly tacos with guava Glaze al carbon was outstanding. Their drinks are phenomenal as well. Portions are huge.

Our server, Justin, is the kindest and most genuine server we have ever had. This was our second time being served by him and the service was outstanding. Very personable and in a great mood that helped set the tone for our evening. He checked on us multiple times throughout the meal to see if there was anything he could do for us. Can’t wait to go back soon.

Yelp
Our family has been frequenting Superica in Avalon for years. From top to bottom their food & service is among the best in the business! The service, food & ambience is unmatched. A shot out to Tiana who's one of the managers who we've interacted with on a few occasions. She always very accommodating and gets the meaning of great customer service. Love this place and highly recommend it!

Yelp
We were in town for the night and decided to try Superica. My husband and I sat at the bar as there was a little bit of a wait. We didn't get to see much of the restaurant, but it was dimly lit and decorated nicely. We decided to split some nachos and queso as well as we tried the chicken tortilla soup. This food was soooo good - we didn't leave anything on our plates! Definitely a place we'll return when back in town!

Yelp
3.5 and rounded up. Came with a few friends for a mid-afternoon snack around 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was about 50% full and the host showed us to seats right away. Menus were already placed on the table and once we sat down the servers brought water to the table and gave us time to order. The waitress we had was quite bright and bubbly and explained that she was training another staff member who was standing by her side. They came out first with chip and two types of salsa for the table--a green one and a darker green one haha I can't recall the exact difference but one was spicier--both were good. We ordered: - GUACAMOLE with tostadas, lime $13: for the table that came with thicker chips though it was maybe 9-10 chips which wasn't quite enough for the guac, though no biggie since the regular chips worked too. The guac was tasty, had chunks of avocado in it, nothing special to write home about tho. - TACOS DE PESCADO fried catfish, mexican crema, cabbage slaw, pickled onion $18: came with 3 tacos using soft tortillas, prepared well, good balance of savory, acid, creamy--tasty. - TACOS DE CAMARONES gulf shrimp, "scampi butter", cheesy tortillas, cabbage slaw, chipotle salsa, morita chile mayo $20: also came with 3 tacos using soft tortillas, shrimp cooked just right, a little too much sauce though I didn't mind (just don't drip it on yourself like I did) balance of flavor was good. - Pacifico beer x2 $5 each: refreshing. Our servers kinda disappeared after the food was served, we had to get up and flag someone to get the check. Overall not bad,l for these items, I'm not really a fan of American Tex-Mex (Mexican is a whole other cuisine), but I'd come back to eat these tacos if I was in the area.

Yelp
Great restaurant. The service was attentive and pleasant. The lunch options are great and affordable. The food is amazing. Everything was perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious! The hard taco I had ordered was perfect in every way. I will definitely come back when in town.

Yelp
We decided to roll in to Superica for Date night. PRO TIP: add your name to the waitlist online while you drive to the place. Saves so much time! The ambiance is poppin the food is delicious but what made it above and beyond was our server Joe. He was kind, he was on it and he never left us without want. We would absolutely come back for Joe alone!!!

Jerry K.

Yelp
Place had a great atmosphere for our small group. I like how they had little bowls and glasses of salsas for us to choose our own mixtures. Waiter that brought me my frozen margarita forgot a straw and when I asked he rudely responded "I'll get it". 5 minutes later I went and got one from the bar. I had the catfish and shrimp fajita plate. It was decadently covered in butter as the menu mentioned and very tasty. Parking sucks at dinner time but that's the vibe of the place.

Yelp
We've now eaten at Superica multiple times and the food is always excellent. It's located in Avalon, one of the coolest places in Atlanta! The atmosphere is always electric. Our server this time is as Cardel. He was absolutely the best server I've ever had there. He anticipated every need, helped with menu decisions, and had the best attitude. He made you feel better just being around him. I'm really writing this review hoping the management reads them to recognize him. I even talked to the manager after the meal to tell her how fantastic he was. I hope he gets a bonus for this. I tipped him 30%!

Yelp
What a terrific way to celebrate your birthday with friends. From walking in the door, we were greeted by a wonderful manager and excellent service by Kiki. The food is always consistently delicious, but they knocked it out of the park last night. Kiki was very attentive, friendly, and excellent at making festive birthday cocktail and meal choices. What a wonderful way to spend an evening. I cannot recommend it high enough. They even gave me a birthday card signed by all of the servers and took the cutest Polaroid picture of us. Next time you are in the mood for TexMex make sure you go to Superica at the Avalon and ask for Kiki!

Vanessa B.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the minute I walked into cacti and snake plants the low light ambiance was super cute it felt like you were in a part of Texas/Mexico it had a cute western feel to it. Our waiter was super sweet and took care of us the entire time despite the rush hour we were sat quickly and the food came out super fast and let me tell you the tortilla soup was delicious! The salsas are great and the steak fajitas are to die for. Sooooo flavored and tender teamed up with homemade flour tortillas and a side of butter that sizzles as you pour it in your taco. I will be back it was so yummy!

Thao T.

Yelp
Get your Tex Mex fix here! Chips and salsa are complimentary served. The spicy salsa was yummy. We got the Fajitas Al Carbon- Parrilla Deluxe and switched the chicken out for pork belly. Loved what we got. We were happily full. Ordered ourselves a few Tommy's margaritas with Tajin rim and they were strong and good. Lastly, we ended the night with their Tres Leches dessert. Absolute heaven. Be sure to order what we got and you will not be disappointed! Our server was attentive and nice. If something came out wrong, he made sure to correct it. It was super busy on a Friday night. Our date night went so smooth and we had a cozy spot in the booth with the view of the kitchen. 5/5 stars. Will come back for sure!

Yelp
I had this place bookmarked for a while and we finally decided to give it a shot yesterday afternoon for lunch. While the place looks nice and seems to be a popular spot, hubby and I were underwhelmed. The service was friendly and efficient but the food was just okay. The biggest issue is that their price point simply doesn't match the experience. I don't mind paying a premium for premium food, but it sucks to pay a premium for mediocre food, and unfortunately, that is exactly what we did here at Superica. We started with the guacamole, which came with these interesting thick chips. The chips were crispy and tasted good but I am not sure how I felt about the texture, which I think was too thick for my liking. The guacamole was decent but a bit too smooth (I prefer chunkier guac personally) and did not have a ton of flavor. They also gave us a basket of regular tortilla chips with 2 jars of sauces. The sauces were average but hard to get to as the jars were too tall, so it was just awkward to dip. My husband ordered the carne asada, which is essentially a bone-in ribeye served with thick potatoes covered in some sauce and cheese. He ordered it medium and it was pink on the inside but the outside was a bit burned and gave the whole steak an overly charcoal flavor. The potatoes were okay. Neither of us thought this dish was worth the $44 price tag at all. I had a steak quesadilla, which came in a big portion but again, I did not think was worth the $24 price tag for a simple quesadilla. This is especially true when I didn't even enjoy it because the steak was overcooked and made the whole thing rather dry. It wasn't terrible, but again, not living up to the price point either. I had a Pacifico for my drink, which was a nice, cold draft. Hubby had a margarita on the rocks, which he says was just okay. It took us 20 minutes to find parking because the Avalon was pretty busy. This is, of course, no fault of Superica's, but just something to consider if you plan to come on a weekend when the whole area is crowded. The whole time we were there, I couldn't help but compare Superica to Rojo because that is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. In my opinion, Rojo easily won in every category. Based on that, I would much rather enjoy a better tasting meal for significantly less cost at Rojo than return to Superica again, so we will not be back.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. We were seated right away. I ordered the cheese enchiladas lunch special with all beans and a skinny margarita. Food came out very fast. They give you complimentary chips and salsa with 2 different kinds. Green which is mild and a red spicy one. Both were good but I preferred the green. Beans were flavorful. The skinny margarita was good. Also ordered guacamole and chips. Very fresh guac. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Georgia.

Haun K.

Yelp
This is a review for their WEEKEND BRUNCH. Highly recommend. Great prices. Great vibes. Great food. Any of their $13-15 brunch specials are great with their endless tortillas/beans. Their buttermilk pancakes also are so filling! We end up taking home leftovers every time!

Yelp
One of my favorite local spots to go whenever I'm craving good Tex-Mex! I have been here a few times and have never had a bad experience. There's usually a wait (even on weekdays), but sometimes you can get lucky if you go early enough and beat the lunch and dinner crowds, and they also have a full service bar where you can also try and snag a seat if that's your thing. They do take reservations and are also on the Open Table app. The restaurant is a decent size with lots of tables and booths, and they also offer outdoor seating which I usually prefer (even if it's a longer wait). Service is always wonderful, and the food and drinks are even better! They even offer lunch specials during the weekdays for great price. My favorite menu items include the shrimp tacos (street style and come with 3 per order), the chicken tortilla soup, chicken fajita quesadilla, and the nachos. I also like to start with either the queso or guacamole dip which is super fresh. Can't wait to go back for another visit soon!

Fritzi G.

Yelp
Food was disappointing. I ordered a chicken chile relleno and I was hoping for a deep fried pepper filled with chicken, cheese, and veggies. My plate had a flattened pepper on the bottom with chicken, beans, and sauce on top. It looked like a mess. The kids quesadilla was hard and burnt. The burger was something you see at McDonalds. 3 stars are for the drinks.

Melissa I.

Yelp
Yummm!! Nice Mexican at the Avalon. Perfect spot for a family wanting a quick meal. We ordered a few tacos and cheese dip with chips. Service was quick, food decent and family friendly

Jasmin W.

Yelp
I went out for drinks with coworkers twice here. The service is great! The waitresses are very attentive, friendly, and the manager will assist you with any issues you may have. The ambiance is very nice. I love the decorations and vibe. The drinks are just okay to me, granted I only tried the sugar skull. It was not too strong but not too sweet. I got the nachos the second time I went and I was quite disappointed. It tasted fine but as you can see there are only 8 chips on the plate... for $12. I was expecting a plate of nachos with toppings on top for the price. I understand it's an appetizer but I was just expecting more than 8 chips.

Coralia M.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was quick and mindful with consideration of having everything delivered with style. The setting was charming and you could tell that service was number one with the manager making sure all tables had what they needed and setting the tone. A-mazing!

Manuel M.

Yelp
Every time I come here for lunch I get the same, lol, either the pork belly or the al carbon chicken tacos, the only minus to this place is they don't take reservations. so usually on the weekends it's impossible to get in without having to do a long wait, but since I usually come at lunch with a friend, we just sit at the bar, which is first come first serve, service can be a bit slow if they are crowded.

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Im giving this place three starts because the service was good but not much else. The servers were knowledgeable and quick. But I didn't enjoy my food and I saw a water bug crawling on the floor. But they do have an outside patio so it's kinda not surprising that bugs may get in from time to time.

Morgan D.

Yelp
I was in Alpharetta for a wedding and was shopping in the Avalon when dinner was needed. Put our names on the online wait list and then dinner was served. The margaritas and guac were incredible and got us in a real good mood. My friend and I split the shrimp tacos of a chicken quesadilla plus more margaritas. we truly had a great time this establishment and the food to be delicious. The restaurant was cute. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. I will be visiting the Nashville location at home since I enjoyed my experience in Georgia so much.

Brandon S.

Yelp
The Avalon Superica nachos and the exotic dishes were delicious. I left my address, and they sent me a small coupon gift as a postcard. It's so cute! All the servers are friendly.

Yelp
OMG this place is so good! I've walked by this place many times but never really knew what kind of food they served. I tried this restaurant for the first time with a friend on a weeknight and we sat at the bar. It was extremely busy for a weeknight! It was very loud in there (probably because of the high ceilings). Our bartender was awesome. She was super helpful and extremely attentive. We had our drinks filled up the entire night and it was just great service all around. We ordered the half order of the steak fajitas ($40) and they were amazing. it came out sizzling on a hot plate and the butter that came with it was just genius. It was delicious. The portion was generous. The steak was cooked perfectly - juicy and moist. The chips and salsa were great as well. I would definitely come back, but probably a bit earlier before the place gets too crowded.

Marcus O.

Yelp
Kudos to Superica management for actually reading and responding to their reviews. I am updating this review in response to being invited back to Superica to try out their cuisine again. After re-reading my first review and trying them out again, I conclude they were having an off night the first time I went. The dining experience was the same -- great service, very friendly, and knowledgeable about their food... but I don't wanna get too into that or David Chang will call me out. Let me start by saying, if you're reading this during the holidays, get yourself a Christmas Cactus. It's really good. That sprig of rosemary pulls it all together. The chips were appropriately salted; the salsa was appropriately hot. It went really well with chile con queso. The tampiquena (skirt steak) was really good, coated with some kind of chile spice that's fantastic -- almost as good as how I make it at home. The cheese enchiladas and fried egg that goes over top are awesome flavor bombs when you eat it all in the same bite. I was hoping for more with the chile relleno, but it fell flat, unfortunately. The pepper itself and its flavor are good, but the chicken hash thing over top didn't do it for me. Stick with the tampiquena.

Allez C.

Yelp
Our family's first time dining here was overall a pleasant experience. Superica's decor consists of concrete and wood so noise levels can get on up there. The dining area is a large space, plus they have outdoor seating (with heaters). Our server was nice but a little rough and tumble, perhaps better suited for a mall-food type place. There were some mishaps and awkward moments with him, which had us scratching our heads. The worst faux pas was when he plopped another table's dirty dishes down on ours while he refilled our water. Servers - please don't do this!!!! I've saved the best paragraph for last. Our food was fantastic. Superica has some of the best tortilla chips around, and the green salsas were delicious. It's time for chip rehab. We thoroughly enjoyed the tacos and enchiladas we ordered. In restaurant review lingo, they were "top notch," "on point," and "solid." Even if Avalon isn't your scene, Superica is a good reason to visit.

Dontell J.

Yelp
Went for lunch. Was busy but was seated within 15minutes. Chicken seasoned well. Rice and beans are great.

Jamie G.

Yelp
Service: we ate at the bar and the bartender was amazing. She recommended a margarita for me that I loved and kept our chips and salsa filled the whole time. Food: maybe I'm the last to fry this place but WOW. First- the homemade green salsa they have and the smoked/roasted salsa was AMAZINg. As for my meal- this was hands down the best salad I have had this year. Everything was PERFECTLY chopped, the steak was cooked perfect. It was evenly coated in dressing. So amazing. It had Romain, pickles onions, roasted corn, avocado, medium rare steak, cucumber, Monterey Jack cheese and some kind of dressing. It was so good. Ambiance; it was a busy Saturday night and the place was lively, good music playing and everyone was very friendly. Parking: it's at an outdoor shopping facility with plenty of parking Price: everything was priced Perfectly.

Brooke H.

Yelp
So sad because this was my favorite Mexican place! Today though I had a roach almost crawl on me during my lunch. I paid and was about to leave. Then saw roach crawling on window toward me. Kind of traumatizing. Never seen a roach in a restaurant in my life. Hoping they can get rid of them!

Dave N.

Yelp
Great vibe, conviennent location relative to our stay, great food, and service. Will definitely return when back in town.

Anthony D.

Yelp
All around good place to eat. We have been here before and it is great. My girls love the rice and beans, and the pork belly tacos are good.

David G.

Yelp
A good spot for lunch. Decent flavors and helpings. Quick service. Chips and salsa were better than average. Atmosphere was modern industrial vibe. I'd come back.

Rakeshreddy K.

Yelp
I really liked the food and the atmosphere, outside seating is wonderful away from foot traffic. The service is pretty awesome. I did feel there are a but less options on brunch menu, especially for a brunch appetizers. The food quantity is definitely huge

Connor M.

Yelp
My first time at Superica for brunch and it was awesome! I got the Migas plate with some coffee and everything tasted delicious. My wife got the hot cakes that were also super good but I didn't get a picture of those (sorry!) We got there right at 11 am and we're seated immediately but the dining room filled up very fast in true Superica fashion.

Tracey Middlebrooks R.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! Great service and food is delicious! Upscale Mexican with hearty portions

Wilson Z.

Yelp
Walked in on 8/28 around 7:30pm, we were in the Avalon area and decided to give this place a try. We sat at the high top in-between the bar and host stand. We waited about 15 mins and we're never greeted. One of the bartenders were able to check on the group to the left of us. She even made another round of drinks for them, while I couldn't even get a water. I asked one of the hostess if we could get some service, she said yes and would find a server. The young hostess seemed to care less and was more interested on playing with her phone. We decided to leave. If it takes longer then 15 mins to get water, I couldn't imagine how long it'd take to get our food. While making our way out I notified the host we decided to leave. She just said "ok" Yeahhhh I'd rather spend my money at a local Mexican joint. There is plenty around the area with far superior food and service.

Courtney B.

Yelp
Great food every time, service is generally attentive. Been slow to get service close to closing time however. Generally very busy so it's quite loud, sitting outdoors is nice

bob k.

Yelp
Nice place and good service. Food is a bit of a rip-off. The shrimp tacos are filled with 90% cabbage/slaw then doused with mayonnaise. Take the cabbage off and reveal the smallest shrimp you've seen. Maybe three on each taco. All for the bargain price of $20. The rest of the menu isn't much different on the border or some other chain. Good place to drink and people watch.

Kat D.

Yelp
Love Superica! I'm so glad there is a location in Alpharetta. The Tex-Mex food is so gooooood. The service is great, as I expect from Ford Fry restaurants. I usually order enchiladas which comes with rice and beans. It's the perfect amount of food for me - not too little, not too much. They offer unlimited rice and beans with your meal, served family style. There is usually a long wait, so get on the waitlist ahead of time.

Clarke M.

Yelp
We came here on a whim one day after the movies because I was craving tamales. Honestly the first time I ever had tamales was at the Superica inKrog Street Market and ever since I have been addicted! As always their hot tamales did not disappoint! We also got the tacos de camarones (shrimp tacos) for me and the tacos de pescado (catfish tacos) for my friend. The tacos were good but nothing to write home about.... overall I recommend this place mainly for a place to grab great hot tamales and drinks!

Kim D.

Yelp
This was an amazing restaurant with exceptional service. Tiana the manager was so kind and helpful to us about answering all of our questions and assisted us with parking questions since we are not from the area. Kalen was our waiter and he was so friendly and we never had to ask for anything. The food was so flavorful. I got the hamburgesa and it was one of the most delicious burgers I have had. The chips and avocado dip were amazing. Wonderful location with lots of shopping around. Easy to get to. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommended!

Chris C.

Yelp
Superica is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Atlanta. The food is amazing - Everything from the chips and salsa, to the guacamole, to the queso, and the entrees. We particularly love the ensalada de la casa, the tacos Al carbon, fajitas, and quesadillas. The atmosphere and service is always great. Definitely a place you have to go to when you're at the Avalon!

Robin E.

Yelp
Highly Disappointed. WAY OVERPRICED for what is served! For starters we ordered an appetizer of nachos. Barely enough of an appetizer to feed 4. Ordered a margarita $12 and it was a short little glass! What Mexican restaurant serves shot glasses of margaritas these days??? Seriously this place is way overpriced and quality of food was unfortunately not to par. Ordered fajitas for two. The main course took over 30 minutes to arrive. Fajitas should be sizzling and HOT when served. These were cold to lukewarm warm. No steam coming from that plate!! Many cold spots from sitting on the warmer for 30 min. All of our food was cool. My youngest son is a food server at a high end Italian restaurant and he agreed the food was cold when served. Had them bring another plate of fajitas as was not about to pay $50 for cold fajitas. It's a shared plate but the rice and beans were only enough to serve a portion for one NOT two. Granted they took off the fajitas from the bill. But I'd rather have been served HOT fajitas with on 10-15 min wait than cold fajitas and wait 30 minutes for something I would end up having to return. Also all the protein is smoked. If you like the smoke flavor then you may enjoy the food. Personally I dislike anything smoked. Had I known- I would have avoided this restaurant. Won't be back. Overpriced and definitely not worth it. Being from California- I know excellent Mexican food and what it should taste like and at a fraction of the cost. $50 for steak /chicken fajitas with a serving portion of side for just one person. You do the math. Totally overpriced for a Mexican restaurant and not worth it. So many y other places that are far better. Adios not so super Rica !

Yelp
This was our first visit with Mike helping us. He asked questions to confirm I got what I wanted and educated me on how the recipes may differ from basic expectations. Super speedy. Highly attentive. And from the moment we walk in the door, we feel like first class! I love this place!

Yelp
If you're looking for extra-Americanized Tex-Mex with gigantic portions- this is the place for you. We ordered 3 al pastor tacos which came rolled. It was a lot of dough:meat ratio and was bland. I would skip on these. We also got the steak fajitas and added some sausage to it. I liked the steak fajitas the most but sour cream and lettuce with Mexican food isn't my personal cup of tea. We didn't love any of their salsas either. Portions wise- I could have gotten full from one taco, or a third of the steak fajitas...so order sparingly!

Yelp
We had dinner here yesterday. Our server, Kalen, was excellent. Margherita was good. I ordered Michelada with Dos Equis but it had ice on it and was watery. The veg nachos were good, different style, puffed chips with beans and cheese. Meal wise the cheese enchiladas with ranchero sauce was good. Soft tacos with vegetables was really good and so were the quesadillas. Overall a great experience and an enjoyable evening.

Yelp
Have you ever been to one of those places where you knew it could have been 6 out of 5 stars but the service just screws it up? Well here is one of them. Our waiter was just off in lala land. At first he was all over us but once he brought the drinks for our kids it is like something happened. He didn't bring straws, said he would, but never came back. I had to ask another server for some. He didn't even realize he never did once he did come back. He forgot to take my wife's and my drink order. When he came back to get our food order we had to point out he had forgotten about us. He quickly took the drink order and ran off. Once we got our drinks it was forever for him to take our food order. He just wasn't coming back. Then after getting our food order he didn't come back to check on us until they were closing. We wanted another drink but had no idea they closed at 9 so once he came back at 9:05 he told us he couldn't get another drink for us because they were closed! Seriously?!? The food was good... fajitas were great... my tacos were awesome... their homemade hot sauce is hot but ohhhhh soooo good! My boys liked their cheese quesadillas, the queso and guacamole were good too! Even my beer was great (see pics). The place was a nice location in the Avalon area and the ambiance of the eatery was good too. It was just our service that was off! Way off! So we will try again... maybe it was just an off night for him...

Yelp
Good spot for drinks/ brunch. This place is one of the few restaurants at the Avalon which has brunch on Saturday's. The parking at Avalon can be rough depending on the time of day- at peak times you might find your self circling in the parking decks (which are free by the way). They have a few vegetarian options on the menu. I tried the nachos and was let down by them unfortunately. They were chips with melted Colby jack cheese on them not white queso like I was expecting. For the table they provide chips and two kinds of salsa for free which is nice!
