Google
Overall, would not recommend/ not be back. Found a bug crawling on our table. Never received my order of plantains. The ginger nojito was horrible and tasted very much like a mojito. The steak & chicken Fajitas had a weird texture. The steak is 100% is fake. I was sick after the first bite. The best thing was the chips, queso & house salsas. I’d recommend improving on the quality of the food here. I packed up my food to eat as leftovers the next day, and really got to see how awful the steak looked. Ended up throwing it away:( ..The staff were really good though and accommodating.

Google
I usually go to the Superica in Alpharetta, but decided to try out this location and wasn't disappointed! Quality control is spot on and service was impeccable. Ford Fry has a great portfolio of restaurant brands and Superica is definitely a top pic in my opinion. I had chips and chicken carbone at the bar and the bartender frequently checked to make sure I was doing well. I definitely recommend this location if you are in the Dunwoody, GA area!

Google
Solid tex-mex, with an elevated flare. Staff is super welcoming. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. The decor is modern with Southwestern details. They provide a variety of salsas and sauces that are very tasty. We enjoy the enchilada verde (with chicken), shrimp diablo tacos, steak arrachera (fajita), and ensalada with chicken. All the proteins have a nice grilled taste. The family style rice and beans are great-- and unlimited! The only reservation we have is that the plate sizes are large and table space is limited. We tend to run out of table space quickly. Parking is free. There is open parking, along with a shaded deck behind the restaurant.

Google
Superica Dunwoody exceeded all expectations on our first visit! Mike and his incredible staff treated us better than family! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and generously portioned, with a true focus and inspiration from Tex-Mex trail riders. Everything down to the rice was spot on. As newcomers to the area, we were touched by the signed welcome card from the team as well as the recommendations for local places to check out. We can’t wait to bring our friends, family, and business partners here for the incredible experience. Thank you guys again for the warm welcome and hospitality!

Google
Food was good but the waitress never brought the sauce that was supposed to the star of my $29 pork belly dish. Her response was “I’ll bring it next time haha”. The manager was incredible nice and came over to our table a few times. The cheese dip was good. The menu is hard to interpret being artsy Mexican-inspired cuisine but the atmosphere and cleanliness of the location were on point. There is a kids menu, which is always helpful.

Google
Been here several times for lunch and it never disappoints. Chicken Enchiladas Suizas is excellent, homemade salsas are also very good. Service is always good and employees are very polite and accommodating. Reasonably priced and quality of food is excellent.

Google
I have been to several locations. Everything was nice: the atmosphere, the food was tasty. However, the only thing I didn't like was the new menu. It no longer has fajitas on it, and it seems like the Entrées have been shaved down while the prices have increased. I probably will not be returning.

Google
Had lunch with coworkers and it was terrific! I'm a sucker for Carnitas Michoacan and while these weren't what I'd call traditional they were yummy! Pork belly crispy and tasty and their salsas were outstanding. Def go check them out if you are nearby.

Yelp
great food and better server. Natalie was very helpful and attentive. great Selection of food.

Yelp
Our server Edgar is the best server I have ever had. He is very fast and quick and always keeps things refilled and done. He was quite friendly, professional, and was very energetic and entertaining and really made the experience so much better. ALRIGHT!!!

Yelp
Get the Fundido and flour tortillas, you won't be sorry. Rachel was the best! She even told us where to score an awesome rug. The patio and music selection was icing on the cake!

Yelp
Fascinating that all the older reviews about bad service still ring true. We were seated, got some water and were told our server would be right with us. Our server never actually came. I'd understand it if they were really busy but there were maybe three other occupied tables and PLENTY of staff just kind of standing around talking. When we got up to leave, none of the staff seemed to notice. Will NOT be returning to this location. We left and went to HobNob which was packed with customers and had excellent service and food.

Yelp
Had a great dinner here with my family recently. It was early evening on a Saturday, but it wasn't terribly crowded. We asked to sit outside & while our server warned us it was about to rain, he left it up to us and still served us with some great energy and a real smile the entire time. The courtyard up front was busy with kids, couples, and families until it started to pour & the wind blew in. It was actually really nice to watch the storm and sip on our margaritas. talking with the kids. Inside the dinner looked warm and cozy, too, with its western decor and country music. The food was amazing! Tacos, enchiladas verde, quesadillas, chips, queso blanca, and the fresh guacamole... we loved it all. The two little bottles that came with the chips had some flavorful heat if you needed it. The side of grilled chicken my hubby ordered to make his own nachos was delicious! Can't wait to come back again.

Yelp
Came for brunch. Great ambiance, terrible service. The first host who greeted me seemed standoffish, but the host who actually seated me was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, that was the only bright spot in service. Our server barely spoke, and disappeared for long stretches. To the point where drinks that were ordered took 30 mins to come while our waters stayed empty. I'd understand if it was really busy but it wasn't. My food was just okay, it looks pretty but taste was different. It was mashed together and was not for me. Overall it has potential, unfortunately had to experience the poor service.

Yelp
We had a party of 7 for lunch at 11:30 am on Thursday, 3/20/25, including 1 kid, 2 toddlers, plus a baby. Griffin was our waiter, and they were wonderful!! Got us everything we needed, and quickly too! All entrees are served with rice and refried beans, family style. The refried beans have pork, so Griffin was kind enough to bring out black beans for us. Here's what we got: - Queso (large, $11): Okay. - Guacamole ($13): Good! - Kids Quesadilla ($9 + $1 for chicken): Delicious. Comes with rice, beans, fountain drink, and a popsicle. - Ensalada "Superica" (small, $8): Soooo good!! Such a great deal! - Crispy Chicken Taco ($4.67): This was okay. I would try a different taco next time. It ain't cheap. But the service is great and the food is good. Good for large parties, especially with kids. I'd go back and get the salad again in a heartbeat!

Yelp
My party & I have never heard of this place so we gave it a go. Cokes to find out it's an Atlanta chain. Inside was gorgeous! The vibes were really "deserty" if that makes sense lol have it 4 starts because alright service was good it wasn't GREAT, she did a great job really nice but certain times throughout our dinner we needed something & we couldn't find our server which can be frustrating but overall service wasn't bad and towards the end we got time to have a convo. To start their salsas & hot sauces were *chefs kiss* We opted to eat their "feat" fajitas the macho way (served with queso fundio + macha salsa), everything tasted great, it came with rice & beans, toppings like sour cream, guacamole, pico, etc. Tierra was also kind enough to bring us both types of tortillas (flour & corn). Our server Tierra was kind enough to reccomend certain things & accommodate certain request (ie. carnitas on the side) My party got cocktails & beers which they seemed to enjoy, partially due to tierras recommendations. Great ambiance, good service, & beautiful ambiance will definetly be back.

Yelp
Always love a visit to superica! Really love this location too. They recently switched up the menu a little and the sides are served family style, but are bottomless. The enchiladas are my go to and are always fabulous!

Yelp
Jada was fantastic and the food was delicious! I will definitely be back!! From the chip and salsa to the perfectly cooked steak tacos, everything was amlazing.

Cici P.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The restaurant was clean and the service was good! I sat at the bar and Eli the bartender took great care of me! I will be back thank you for great service and great recommendations! Make sure you come hungry it's a ton of food and for a small price! 10/10!

Yelp
Food is always good no matter the location and the steak is always my top choice. Service was great during brunch. This location has great decor and seems open compared to the Battery location. Check them out!

Yelp
*Superica's other locations & Little Rey = 10/10* I've been a fan of Superica for years & have dined at the Dunwoody location multiple times, but it consistently falls short compared to the other locations. I recently visited twice since the space was reimagined, & while I appreciate the updated decor, serve ware, & the attempt to offer slightly lower price points (w/ smaller portions to be more family-friendly), the overall vibe doesn't quite match the elevated atmosphere this location seems to be going for. The new tuna tostada is a standout & definitely delicious, & as always, the tacos & Superica salad are fantastic. However, the fajitas were overcooked on both visits (small chicken 1st visit & large steak/pork belly 2nd visit), & the service still leaves a lot to be desired. It's clear that they're trying something new here, but I feel the classic Superica formula is what makes it shine, & it's hard to see this concept working in Dunwoody. I'll continue to be a loyal fan of the other Superica locations and Little Rey, but unfortunately, I won't be returning to Dunwoody. I hope they continue to refine the concept--it could just use a little more fine-tuning.

Yelp
Quick stop in before they closed to enjoy a drink. Great location; next to different spots to eat and shop. Free parking which is always a plus.

Yelp
Incredible food!! my wife had steak tacos and I have steak fajitas. Both were cooked amazing on the wood fire grill. The four sauces they brought out with the chips were all incredibly delicious. The margarita was perfect ! Absolutely wonderful restaurant Sarah was our waitress and she very attentive, very sweet and very knowledgeable. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
It's always a good time at Superica Dunwoody. We were celebrating our oldest daughter's birthday. The location is in the midst of many other restaurants and shops. We all parked in the parking garage and followed the signs to Superica. It is a beautiful restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor dining. The latter offers a view of the yard. After dinner, we sat in the open yard and watched children participating in a light soccer match. Very cute! Our server was Davis. We've had him before and he is magnificent! At first glance, we noticed the menu had changed. We were not pleased because we all knew what we wanted and now had to study the menu with the help of Davis. They started us off with free chips and homemade salsas and we also added queso. The chips were thin & crispy the way we like them. The salsas and queso were delicious. Next we ordered margaritas and aqua frescas. Then we ordered dinner: one salad with chicken and two steak fajita entrees which were offered as small and large and came with family style rice and beans. We were disappointed that the tasty charro beans were no longer offered. We also added fries. When we received our food, my husband and I quickly noticed our one fajita dish was not enough for us to share ($32). We needed just a little bit more. The large was $50ish? The menu has no mention of how many a small versus large will serve. We received four small tortilla shells instead of the large shells from before. Previously when we've ordered separate fajita dishes we've always had lots left over so we thought we would share this time. We were told a small was equal to the original dish. We wish we had known we needed to order a large. Nevertheless the food was tasty as always. Superica, if you're listening, please make some adjustments or bring the old menu back for your loyal guests. Nevertheless we enjoyed the birthday celebration. Three stars is good. I added an extra star for Davis. He is the best!

Yelp
As always, Superica's food is excellent. My fiance and I got the al carbone with pork belly and chicken tejano. It was SO GOOD. We loved the hot salsa too. The chips were excellent, and the service was great. He kept bringing out more chips for us because we were going through it like crazy. I loved the decor in the restaurant. It genuinely fits the vibe of what they are going for in my opinion. The only reason I docked the star is that the menu seems much smaller than what the other superica restaurants have. I was hoping to get specific items that I had at other locations but found that this one had a much limited menu. Otherwise, the food is great, and we would definitely go back again.

Yelp
Came here on monday night for the first time. Didn't expect much but the restaurant inside is beautiful. Fancy than your regular tex Mexican spots. Got a table right away and got me a ginger margarita cocktail only $10. It was so yummy. The complimentary salsa and chips reminds me of Chevys which is my favorite chips and salsa because it's not too thick and not hard. Chips are thinner and the roasted tomato salsa and green salsa are both good. I think I found my favorite spot for that. We shared the combo superica steak and pork belly. The big portions of pork belly on pictures is what enticed me. Rice beans and Tortilla is also included. We didn't try the dessert but I will next time. Got full quickly and our server Ashley is pleasant. I definitely asked for more chips and salsa.

Jamie C.

Yelp
Perfect for a Friday night family dinner! The food was great and so were the drinks. And our toddler's chicken quesadilla was massive. Jada took great care of us, running us first-timers through the menu and recommending drinks. Between the ambience, food, service, and kid friendly green space outside, we'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Jada was great and had great suggestions and made our drink selection and meal selections a breeze...everything was delicious

Khaila M.

Yelp
Loved Jada great customer service!! I really enjoyed my meal and will be back again!!

Yelp
This place is definitely overhyped. I heard ppl rave about this place multiple times before. I'm sorry but I really didn't enjoy this place. I mean for $80 I could've definitely made this 100 times better at home. The only thing I'd come back for during happy hour or something would be the tuna tostada. Our bill was about $115 and it wasn't even good, don't you hate that? To top it off they don't have any matchbooks. I had the steak acherra (the steak is sweet by the way) definitely did not enjoy.

Jean D.

Yelp
Jada is awesome, food is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome! 10 outta 10. Great for families or couples. Beautiful outdoor space with ambience and entertainment for the little peanuts.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite superica location!!! The steak was amazing. Drinks are hit or miss at other locations, but not this one. Also, Jada was great!!!!!!!

Yelp
I came to this Superica location for the first time. If you have issues finding it, like me lol, you have to walk on the pathway that leads behind Hobnob. There's a whole little world back there with other restaurants and outdoor games. The customer service was great! I opted to sit outside, and I really enjoyed their setup. There was a hair (maybe an eyelash?) in one of the salsa bowls and my straw was pretty beat up, but my server quickly remedied that. I ordered their agua fresca of the day, which was a lavender rosemary lemonade and WOW-delicious! The salsas were good. For the entree I ordered enchiladas verdes (part of the 14.99 lunch special), and while they were good, they weren't what I was used to. Although the verde salsa was there, there was still red sauce on the inside. A few things here and there, but I plan on coming back for sure!

Julia N.

Yelp
this was our first time at the dunwoody location and it was a great experience! parking is so easy and the ambience in the restaurant is great! we had jada as our server and she was very attentive and had great suggestions! the food was fantastic as usual of course!

Rhoda P.

Yelp
Jada and Eli provided top notch service. Eli's expertise on tequila was excellent. He guided us through the various tasting notes and flavor profiles that we were seeking. We will be back soon!

Yelp
A nice ambient restaurant with good food and service. The portions are huge and the fajitas were great.

Yelp
On today Nov1st 2024 myself along with the wife stopped in to this new location to give it a spin. We are familiar with Buckhead location. We came for the pork belly tacos with that "guava glaze. Wrong! Ford fry somehow decided to take away the glaze. Shame on you Ford! We had conversation with Gm Mike and Agm Amber. Best managers in the game. They provided solutions to salvage our experience. And our server Davis is a rock star. Ambiance and noise levels are good and parking is easy as there is a deck right behind the establishment. If you are in Dunwoody stop by and check it out. Ford bring my glaze back and I'll change my review from 4 star to 5!

James R.

Yelp
My wife and I come here pretty frequently with my daughter. We've been to other Superica locations, the menu is slightly different at each one, but the overall theme is the same. The ambiance is nice, casual and relaxed, a good place for young children. Service is good. Wait times are usually quick, even at dinner time on the weekend, but reservations are easy to get. There's a good variety. Best thing in my opinion are the fajitas. There's plenty of food if you wanted to share. Chips and salsa are complimentary. They have great margaritas. Would recommend if youre looking for a tex mex spot. Also in a convenient location with an area for kids to play outside.

Yelp
Hey there, Yelp Fam! It's your girl back again with another food review! So, I headed to one of my favorite spots in Dunwoody, Superica, this past Saturday. The weather was fantastic, and I was craving some patio dining. Thinking Superica might not have seating available on a busy Saturday, I decided to try my luck by joining the waitlist online after visiting a few other taco spots. To my surprise, Superica had space! I was both shocked and relieved. By the time I arrived (about 15 minutes later), I was seated outside. I'll get to the food, but first, I have to give a shoutout to my amazing server, Sommer. She had such a sweet spirit. From the moment I was seated throughout my meal, Sommer was such a kind soul. I really enjoyed conversing with her in between placing my order! I hope the next time you visit, you're as fortunate as I was to have such a wonderful person serving you. Thank you, Sommer, for being so kind! You were amazing! Now, onto the food. I started off with a frozen El Frio margarita, which is their house margarita, and it was delicious. For an appetizer, I ordered the queso. Honestly, you don't really need to order queso as your table comes with two different types of salsas--one spicy and the other mild. Those salsas are great on their own, but I was in the mood for queso, so I added it to the experience. When it came to the main course, I went with the chicken verde, which comes with beans and rice. To be honest, by the time my food arrived, I was already quite full from the chips, queso, and salsa. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed being outside, soaking in the nice weather and observing all the people enjoying themselves. I highly recommend Superica! Oh, and their bathrooms are clean too! If you've been thinking about going, consider this your sign! I can't wait to go back

Yelp
I used to love this place and I feel like it's significantly gone downhill over the last few years. This is my 3rd time visiting this location and each time has been incredibly disappointing. I was hoping the third time was a charm but the service was terrible. No hello. No let me explain the menu. No let me share the sauces and what each one is. The waitress was COMPLETELY checked out. We had to ask for things numerous times and she was more concerned about bussing her tables to end the night than she was attending to our table. She was rude, short and never ONCE came to our table asking if we needed anything. The order was wrong and the bill wasn't correct. Unfortunately, this used to be such a great spot to bring my out of town guests but now I'll never be back. Such a bummer.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Great host and manager, they started the meal off on a fun note. Loved the green and red salsas. Great to mix them both to go with the chips. I'm a big fan of mole and the chicken mole enchiladas didn't disappoint. I only wish the mole sauce had a deeper and richer flavor. The OG margarita was like and crisp. While it did come with salt, I would have preferred it all around the rim instead of just on one side of the glass. But that is nitpicking and a personal preference. Can't wait to try something else on the menu.

Kyle C.

Yelp
Drinks were great. Food was fantastic. The guacamole and pork belly were beyond compare. Service was fantastic thanks to Jada.
google avatar

Yelp
We loved this place! Food was incredible, we had guacamole, fajitas tacos and endless green sauce and chips. Our server KC!!, she was very informative, about the menu and gave us the best margarita choices! The restaurant is a little DM when it comes to lighting. I also feel the menu was a little limited for a Mexican restaurant, but I did enjoy the dishes we tried. They do have ample parking in this Location for free. If you're in the area. I suggest you check it out and ask for KC!

Yelp
We went here as a group for a business lunch and they greeted us and were able to seat us immediately. The ambiance is quaint and maximalist with an indoor outdoor feel. The table was family style so make it easier for the shareable which was thoughtful. The host helped us through the menu and also shared about the specials. They had a variety of tacos with vegetarian options. The beverage menu is also extensive and exotic. Highly recommend for groups, family, and dates. Great value and good portion size.

Kandi F.

Yelp
As always, we had a lovely experience at Superica and our server, Jada, was excellent! The service and food is consistently great, the green salsa is the most delicious salsa ever (and unlimited), and the drinks are delicious!!!

Ron R.

Yelp
Awesome food and awesome service by Jada. Atmosphere and ambience was inviting and comfortable for any type of gathering.

Yelp
We got there around 10:40 on a Sunday for brunch. Triple stack pancakes, tamales and eggs, and the egg/ chorizo/ potato dish. All so yummy! I normally don't finish my entire dish but I almost all of my pork tamales and 2 eggs. I'd say the best part is the sauce! Terrific service as well!

Carla C.

Yelp
Rachel is the best! The food a drinks were delicious! Great experience today! Thanks so much!

Yelp
Great neighborhood restaurant with even better music. The servers are sweet and the prices for tequila are surprisingly good. The queso fundido (with shrimp) and the fresh warm tortillas served with it make the dish great to share or eat by yourself.

Yelp
Amethyst was amazing! Best server here. Food was great! Looking forward forward to coming back.

Yelp
Service was fantastic, Jada took care of us with her expertise on food pairings and drinks. Highly recommend! The ambiance was great too.

Yelp
Over the last 15 years I have eaten in the Superica at the Battery,Krog St., Avalon and once before at the Dunwoody location. I always order the chicken enchiladas verdes and they have always been prepared the same way until this time at Dunwoody. There was a very dark spicy sauce surrounding the enchiladas that was not enjoyable!!! Also the small plates for the salsa made it impossible to the dip the chips in. I have always seen the small bowls at the other restaurants. Don't think I will visit this location again anytime soon.

Yelp
I was so excited to be so close to a Superica bc it's now my fav TexMex spot. My S/O lives 5 minutes from this location. I ordered to go a chicken fajita meal with rice and black beans and queso. Got back to his house, he was going to work so I was going to be without transportation for the rest of the evening. Kissed him goodbye and got ready to watch movies and enjoy my food. Are 1/2 the queso and went to make my fajitas. I had a pan of chicken and beef (mostly beef, which I do not eat), some refried beans (which I do not eat) and that's all. No tortillas, no rice, no fixings (sour cream, guacamole etc..). Hurt and disappointed, I called the restaurant and asked for a manager. Explained to her what I ordered and what I received. First she told me in a snappy way, that the fajitas don't come with rice. I then said, Krog street always gives me rice and beans, Buckhead gives rice and beans and the website stated rice and beans. She replied "well it doesn't come with rice AND beans, you can substitute one for the other". Okay well I don't have a car, this was my dinner for the night ma'am. I'm on a mini vacation from my house with my 5 sons, my sons baby mama and my new grandbaby and I'm disappointed bc I really was excited to eat this, it's my favorite. I don't eat beef, there's no tortillas, no black beans that I asked for...or rice and so I have nothing but cheese dip. She said "let me get your number and I'll investigate and call you back". This was a Friday night. I called back on Tuesday seeing as tho of course she never called me back. The Manager I spoke to on Tuesday was nice, apologized and refunded me. I'm still disappointed tho. Oh and there was no compensation offered. None. So it was a waste of gas and time to not get what I want. To be spoken to in a condescending way over some rice...the whole experience just was disappointing. I'm going to add a picture of the menu description that clearly stated the meal comes with rice. I recommend this place to everyone. Uugh!

Yelp
I was visiting from out of state and had a delicious meal, amazing homemade tortillas and Jada took excellent care to make sure I had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Great food and service. Decor is spot on. Music too loud which broke the nicer ambiance. My favorite dish was the nachos actually! So crispy and loaded up with all the fixings. Entrees were quite big so ordering 2 appetizers and 4 entrees was overkill for us. I would probably just get appetizers only next time.
