"Hot Springs, Arkansas, is home to a national park unlike any other. In addition to its springs and bathhouses, the area is well-known for its storied history of illegal gambling, hiding fugitives, and protecting underworld figures. Al Capone had his own room in the town’s Arlington Hotel, while Bonnie and Clyde bathed in the healing waters to recover from injuries. Although it’s no longer a haven for criminals, Hot Springs remains a popular destination for anyone in search of R&R. Walking down one side of Central Avenue today, you’ll find a strip of cafes and shops. On the opposite side of the same street, you’re in a U.S. National Park lined with a row of bathhouses. After lying vacant for decades, one of these bathhouses has found a new purpose. Superior Bathhouse—a destination where guests could once get hydrotherapy and mercury (yes, mercury) treatments in the early 20th century—is now a brewery. Here, enterprising brewmaster Rose Schweikhart makes beer using the town’s 144-degree spring water. Superior Bathhouse Brewery serves everything from kölsch to stout to IPAs. They even offer a hot springs–based root beer. As the first brewery in a U.S. National Park, and the only one that relies on thermal spring water, Superior Bathhouse Brewery is as unusual as the place it calls home. Know Before You Go The brewery changes its beer list frequently, so check ahead of time if you're looking for something specific. In addition to brews, it offers a full lunch and dinner menu." - rachelrummel, adamraiford, SemiruralYeti, georeynozos

Very cool place. We enjoyed the patio area which was made better on a hot day by the misting fans. Awesome brew selection, honestly had trouble picking one from the flight I got. The food was fantastic, Rose's smash burger with the bacon jam was so good! Love the atmosphere, I've never seen a place that not only allows pups but provides them with a water bowl and has pup options on the menu!

We are in Hot Springs and I am a beer drinker so we had to try this place. It is one of the original bathhouses converted to a restaurant and brewery. The only brewery in a National Park and they use the natural spring water to brew their beers. They open at 11:00 and we happened to be out front when they did so we were one of the first to enter. Therefore, had the first choice of seating and chose the window seats. First of all, the beers are great. There is a large selection to choose from. We weren't that hungry so we ordered appetizers. We got the soft pretzel with the horseradish and the beer cheese dipping sauce. Pretzel was very soft and the dips were tasty. We also had the corn nuggets. These are a deep fried corn batter and reminiscent of Mexican street corn. I never had them before and they were quite good. Service was pretty good, they started getting busy by the time we left. They are also dog friendly.

Google
food was good. we had patty melt, steak sandwich w sweet potato fries, and loaded nachos. no complaints and the marshmallow dip w sweet potato fries was great! they use the hot spring water to brew their beers. you can also buy the souvenir glasses for I think $5, and shot glass for $3 so that was a nice treat for a souvenir of the trip. they have indoor and outdoor seating. reason this is a 4 star is because our service was very sub par. we went 10-15 min w no drinks w food even though we asked several times and we waited 15 min for our check, after finishing and they weren't all that busy. I would go back and hope for better service!

🍺 Beer, Bites & a Sweet Surprise at Superior Bathhouse Brewery! My husband and I took a quick getaway to Hot Springs and couldn’t resist stopping by Superior Bathhouse Brewery — the only brewery in the U.S. that brews beer using thermal spring water & located in a National Parl! How cool is that? We dove right in with two flights of beers (when in Rome, right?). I’m not usually a beer drinker, but I quickly discovered that blondes are definitely my vibe. Sweet Nectar of the gods (a smooth, creamy ale) and The Beez Kneez (honey basil blonde) were the clear winners. The basil in Beez Kneez really shines through — super refreshing! For bites, we ordered the elote corn nuggets — I was hoping for more traditional elote flavors, but these came deep-fried with a spicy kick. We also shared a Reuben, which was pretty solid. But the star of the show? Homemade peach cobbler with ice cream. Oh. My. Goodness. 🍑🍨 If you visit, don’t skip dessert — it was hands-down my favorite part of the meal!

We visited the Superior Bathhouse Brewery twice during our two days in Hot Springs. Our first stop by was just to have a couple of drinks in the evening after we had finished dinner elsewhere. We were offered a high top out on the patio and we were happy to have the chance to enjoy the nice weather. The place was busy, but the staff assured us that we shouldn't feel the need to rush. They offered us menus, but didn't press when we said we were just interested in a few drinks. The second time we stopped by was for lunch and we sat inside to avoid the mid-day sun. Indoors was nicely decorated and very clean. We scored a nice spot looking out the front windows, which was great for people watching. The food was good, and a reasonable price for such a touristy area. During both of our visits the staff were friendly, prompt and very helpful with suggesting drinks that we might enjoy. Certainly a place we will return to if we're in the area again.

This place isn’t busy for convenience , even though it’s located right in the main drag of the city. This place is super busy because this is the best beer you’ll ever have in your life, and this is coming from the wife of a brewer, and my partner himself. What makes the difference is the water, and it will always be the water that sets this place apart . Service was excellent, friendly, and kind. The food was absolutely delicious , and you can tell it was visually appeasing because I could barely get my phone out before I started consuming it . The bright decor makes for an open air feeling. There is even a misted patio with umbrellas for those that enjoy humidity . What a fantastic experience , and truly , genuinely some of the best beer in the world. The hot natural filtered mineral water makes for less processing and better beer . Cheers 🍻

Went here for dinner with two friends because I’d had so many people recommend it to me. Originally we tried a few days earlier for lunch but it was a 2+ hour wait, so we delayed our visit to a dinner later in the week. We got sat right away when we went in, which was around 6:30 on a Monday. We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese as an appetizer and it was so delicious. The beer cheese perfectly complemented the warm pretzel. My friend even used the beer cheese to dip her fries into later and she said she loved it. For my entrée, originally I wanted to get the pulled pork sandwich, but they let me know they’d run out of pulled pork just before we got there. I settled on the Bacon Baby and added lettuce, tomato, and got the burger sauce on the side. The burger was good, I just wasn’t really in the mood for a burger at the moment. I would definitely get it again when I’m in the mood for a burger, it was juicy and had good flavor. For my side, I got the mac & cheese (not loaded, just plain), and it was great. Just a classic mac I’d eat anytime. Overall a great experience and I’d definitely come here again to try the pulled pork sandwich if I’m in town. Service was good and the staff was friendly, I’d definitely recommend stopping in here if you have time while you are in Hot Springs.

Google
This is a really cool joint. We got a table quickly. Grant was our server and was the perfect balance of attentiveness while giving us space. We had a beer flight with Dill pickle, Jalapeno, banana & clove, and honey basil beers. Very beautiful beers! The nachos are great too! I really enjoyed our visit.

Curt H.

Yelp
From beers to wings to salad and service, this place was a GREAT find! Brock was a great server and all that I had were a result of recommendations - spot on! I then sat at the bar with an off-shift server who came in to fill a growler and I then learned about the 'secret taps'... OMG - I'm coming back again this week for sure!!! Great history here too, worth a stop only if you like great craft beers, food, service, and history. If not, there is a Texas Roadhouse near for you

Sarah S.

Yelp
You pay for the location and vibe 100%. The beers are brewed from the hot spring water which is cool. We were here in mid May and it was soooo hot inside. No air conditioning. I'm not sure if it was broken or the historical factor is just not equipped with AC. Service was just okay. We got a table facing the window so we could see passer by people and that was nice. Beers were tasty. We also shared some chips and cheese/cheese and it was just alright. Not near enough dip for the amount of chips they give you. Prices are what you'd expect in a park. Overall, I would go somewhere else next time.

Yelp
How cool is it to say that you have been to the only brewery located in a national park? That was a majority of the reason why we wanted to stop at Superior Bathhouse Brewery, but the food did not disappoint, nor did the beverages. Our waitress was extremely kind and attentive, despite the fact that they were absolutely slammed. To start, I ordered a flight with four different beers on tap. The one that peaked my interest the most, and actually ended up being my favorite was a dill pickle flavored beer. Weird, I know, but it had a very curious and interesting bite to it. I also tried a jalapeño beer, a traditional, blonde, and a honey blonde. To start with food, we decided to try the infamous pretzel with some beer cheese and honey mustard. The pretzel was the perfect salty balance to our beverages and the honey mustard had a nice tangy bite. For my meal, I was craving a good old-fashioned smash burger with french fries and it did not disappoint. It was all of the greasy, burgery goodness I was looking for. So if you find yourself in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and looking for a bite to eat, do yourself a favor and stop by this awesome bathhouse turned brewery.

Savannah C.

Yelp
My husband went to HS for our anniversary and we decided to give this place another try. OMG the steak fries are definitely one of the best things I've ever eaten. And I do not say that lightly, I am a pretty hard critic. We loved our beers. Our waitress was phenomenal. 10/10

Yelp
1916 bathhouse opened. 1983 bathhouse closed. 2013 brewery opened. It's the only brewery in a U.S. National Park and the only brewery in the world to use thermal spring water in their beer. The stats alone are reason to pay a visit, but the food & beers are equally compelling. THE FOOD. - Rose's Burger | Two patties, smash burger style, and seasoned well with bacon jam and smoked Gouda cheese. The bun is toasted with charred edges. Really, it's a great burger to try out. You can choose from a slew of sides, but I went with fries and let me just say, those things were so good! Steak cut and also seasoned well, I was super impressed with myself for ordering something super impressing. - Reuben Sandwich | Thinly sliced Corned beef with sauerkraut, melted swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing on a toasted marble rye bread. Amazingly flavorful and done really well. For this dish, we ordered onion rings which were deep fried to perfection. Highly recommend. THE DRUNK DRINKS. - Beer Flights. #1: Sweet Nectar of the Gods (Cream Ale) | It actually tasted like a sour ale and I wonder now if I had the right beer? #8: Foul Play (Oatmeal Stout) | I detected a bit of chocolate and coffee. I'm kidding, I didn't. Ugh. #10: Goat Rock (Bock) | Smoky, almost like a medical grade bandaid. Maybe my sense of smell is off. #16: DeSoto's Folly (Golden Stout) | Roasted chocolate flavors come through with this beer. #4: Spicy Ride (Jalapeño Ale) | Definitely tasted those jalapeño notes and I liked how this turned out. Very nicely done. #5: Northwoods (West Coast Style IPA) | Strongly hoppy. Another one I liked a lot. #13: Czech Yo'Self (Czech Pilsner) | Fizzy with floral notes. #14: The Beez Kneez (Honey Basil Blonde) | Basil and honey notes are wonderful. It felt healthy and I was one with the earth. My favorite, and I recommend trying this one out. COMING BACK? If I'm in the area one day, I would love to come back.

Yelp
A great selection of beers in a unique space (only brewery in a national park). The food was really really yummy. It was a busy weekend a service struggled a bit -- our appetizer never came and we were quoted a 25 minute wait or more that ended up being closer to five minutes. We're obviously happy to get seated sooner but had to rush back from walking down the street to a store thinking we would have more time. We'd return, though!

Mark M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Great Service! Not crazy about the flights but I did branch out from my usual selection. We like the Reuben, the steak fries, and the pretzel was ok. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. I'd return to try a different lineup on the flight. 4.5 stars for us

Marie C.

Yelp
My friend took me here while I was visiting her in Arkansas and she took me to Hot Springs,AR. We came here with an intention to eat a light lunch, and the basis for this review. It was packed when we came but one table was available so we were seated promptly. We ordered the pretzel which was good. The house-made beer cheese dip was really good, the honey mustard was just okay. My friend and I split a Tap house Burger. It was juicy and tasty. House-made root beer was a bit bland. Our server was nice and friendly but was not readily available and a bit difficult to find. Ambiance - I like that this bath house was converted to a restaurant. It was packed so it was a bit loud. Price is reasonable.

Ty M.

Yelp
Fun place to visit in Hot Springs. Their concept is unique to the area - house made root beer, beer and pretzels all made with Hot Springs mineral water. My husband had a flight of beer, but I stuck to root beer (delicious!) and we shared a pretzel and corn nuggets. It was fun to have our snack sitting at a low counter overlooking bath house row. The service was a little on the disorganized side, but the server that finally waited on us was really cool, even topping off my root beer and putting it in a to go cup for me. The bar area was a huge disappointment.

Viviana M.

Yelp
We visited this place because it was recommended by our Airbnb. We had high expectations since its operation is in an old historic bathhouse. The place is ok. There's nothing that leaves an impression besides the location. They brew their own beer using the hot spring water. That is cool. We tried about 8 beers and they all have an IPA taste even when they weren't. If you're in town, stop by. It's a tourist attraction. Try a beer for the experience...but I'd skip lunch.

Chris V.

Yelp
Had the club sandwich, with the sweet and spicy bacon and it was great. Service was very good, but the overall ambiance was missing something.

Megan L.

Yelp
We came by on a busy Saturday afternoon and were fortunate to be promptly seated by the bar area. We tried the steak sandwich, which came chock-full of shaved steak, cheese, onions, and peppers on a pistolette (which ended up looking like a french bread hot dog bun), accompanied with mac and cheese. Equally delicious was the Fun Guy Patty Melt, which came with cheese, onions, mushroom, x2 patties, and Texas Toast. The coleslaw that accompanied the Fun Guy was tasty as well. What I liked about both dishes is that they were filling and tasty without being overly salty. I also sampled a couple lighter beers - the Grimhild's Draught Nordic Ale was a distinct drink with hints of Juniper, and the Beez Kneez Blonde came with a hint of basil as well. The root beer was unique in that it was not too sweet and had a smooth finish, and seemingly had less sugar than your typical grocery store root beer. Overall, this is a classic Hot Springs restaurant not to be missed! I would encourage folks to give this place a shot for the affordable, tasty meals and iconic root beer. Do note that it is a popular place, so be prepared for a wait and factor that into your activities for the day.

Kim M.

Yelp
Food service and ambiance for the trifecta. Well behaved dogs allowed inside and outside both, with a menu just for 4 legged friends. Beer and root beer both made with local spring water from the hot springs. Great craft beer. Fire burger did not disappoint.

Anna N.

Yelp
Plenty of seating and servers were so nice! We got the 18 sample beer flight, it was worth it. I'd come again $60 for two people sharing the flight and pretzel.

Jamie F.

Yelp
My family and I decided to try superior bathhouse brewery while visiting Hot Springs and enjoyed our experience. It was very busy, so service was a little slow, but to be expected on a busy holiday. We started with beer flights and a pretzel with beer cheese. Their beer cheese was right up my alley, it was a liquidy consistency and tasty! Also enjoyed my cheeseburger. The waffle fries and dip are also worth a try! The brewery being located in a bathhouse was also a unique experience and the patio outside had misters for the hot weather! Would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.

Nicole S.

Yelp
Superior Bathhouse Brewery in Hot Springs is unique in two big ways. First, they create the world's only beer brewed with thermal spring water. Hot Springs is known for its mineral-rich water. It's available everywhere around the park to touch and drink straight from the source. But here at Superior, you can drink the thermal spring water the way God intended: with hops and fermented to create alcohol. Yummy. Second, Superior is the only brewery located in a United States National Park. It's so cool and unique! And if beer isn't your thing, try the house-made root beer, which is also made with thermal spring water. The architecture of the building where Superior Bathhouse Brewery is housed is as unique as the brews. Built in 1916, the building operated as a bathhouse until 1983, then laid vacant for 30 years. Owner Rose Schweikhart re-imagined the Superior Bathhouse into a craft brewery and full-service restaurant. I visited with a group of women, and we all shared food. We got the steak nachos (just OK), fish and chips (really good), cheeseburger (melty), and root beer caramel brownie for dessert (delicious). The food is your typical pub food, and is just fine. But I would come here specifically for the beer or root beer, or anything else made with the local spring water. When in Hot Springs, you must quaff the elixir, and you can do so here deliciously.

Ahma H.

Yelp
Hot Springs fed hand crafted microbrewery with probably the best burgers in town hands down. Outdoor or indoor seating in this former spa. Situated in the valley of downtown is this you don't want to miss spot. It's dog friendly and the atmosphere outdoors is great. Green metal tabletop & picnic benches festooned with an umbrella & cafe lighting await. Inside is more clinical & by gone era tile that harken back to its original form. Enter and the hostess directs you to stay in or porch service. Order your preferences at the counter & have a seat, or move to the left to an adjacent room and place your order. Its the same menu & offerings it just feels to me visually more offerings to choose from. Of note: The pretzel & beer cheese advertised as the best in town, IMHO the German restaurant hands down has the crowing king of gluten &!gooey beer cheese glory. That's a pretzel's pretzel. If you find yourself in Hot Springs venture into this old world bathhouse now thriving beer garden of sorts. It's that good.

James M.

Yelp
What a great way to end a day. Hiking, hot springs bath then beer and a burger at Superior. We had a great dinner. The Fries were perfectly fried and the burger was awesome. We really liked the beers. I had the oatmeal stout. The unique feature of their beers is they are made from the natural spring waters!!

Marcella N.

Yelp
Great beer selection and ambiance. Food was American and pretty good. Large portions so you could easily share one dish. Service was quick and helpful.

Kim M.

Yelp
In my old age, I'm not much of a beer drinker, but if I had access to the brews from the Superior bathhouse brewery, I might change my mind. We stopped in here after a few house simmering in one of the bathhouses and the beers we ordered totally hit the spot. We took our beverages outside on the side lawn of the old superior bathhouse and just enjoyed the afternoon. I had The Beez Kneez and my friend had a Sweet Nectar of the Gods. The beez kneez is a honey basil blonde ale and omg they hit it out of the park. It was sweet but fresh with that bit of basil. And the sweet nectar of the gods was a slightly vanilla-y cream ale. Both were the perfect beverage to relax with after a hard afternoon of soaking in hot baths and walking around in perfect 75 degree weather.

Rob B.

Yelp
Fun, local brewery. Cool patio. Family friendly, dog friendly, lgbtq friendly. The line to order food and drinks and sit on the patio moved slow and the room has no AC so it was a little stifling. Pretzels were good. Beer tasted great. It's a great location.

David M.

Yelp
Server was nice. Beer was okay. We were seated on the 2nd floor and it was freezing. Everyone had jackets on and buttoned, we didn't stay to eat, so cold

Michael M.

Yelp
After our soak and spa treatments at the bathhouse, when we found out that there was a brewery making beer from the same spring waters giving the town its name, we were in! Unfortunately, this was one of the low points in the trip... Between the eclipse crowd, the music fest, and a weekend, the whole town is packed full of people and this place was no different. We waited just under an hour to get in and got sat next to a window that seemed to attract every fly in the joint, at a counter still sticky with the last patron's beer... Obviously we wanted to try as much as possible, so a flight of beers for each of us seemed the best option. What goes better with a beer than a burger? We'll have two of those please. Fries are an $8 add on? No thanks! It seems pretty busy, kitchen might be behind, let's get some chips and salsa to tide us over. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and our beers came out right away. Score! The flies were a little bit of an issue but we swatted and shooed them away while we drank. Pretty decent beers but nothing that made you want to grab a growler to go. Chips took a bit longer than grabbing a basket of chips probably should but they were good. Thick cut and warm, tri colored corn chips and a very small dish of watered down salsa that tasted of nothing. Luckily we had opted for the beer cheese dip as well, because it was everything the salsa wasn't. Then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. After an hour when our burgers hadn't come and we asked the waiter, he seemed as confused as us. Apparently somewhere along the line, they got forgotten, so we got our check and left. This place seems like it has potential but this was an epic fail.

Dominique N.

Yelp
Superior Bathhouse Brewery is truly one-of-a-kind, being the first craft brewery located inside a U.S. National Park and using the thermal spring water of Hot Springs, Arkansas to brew its unique craft beers. The result? Some of the best beers we tasted in Arkansas! Each brew had a distinctive flavor, thanks to the mineral-rich water, making the experience even more special. The food was equally impressive, and the service was warm and friendly. If you're a craft beer lover, this is a must-visit--there's nowhere else in the world like it!

Nicole C.

Yelp
Taylor is a phenomenal server! She was so fun and attentive. She handled our rowdy group with humor and class. The beers here are made from thermal spring water. So you've got to try this unique experience. It's in what used to be a historic bathhouse. They've retained a bunch of the features from history ... tile floors, the original baths used for merchandise display, the lockers behind the taps. And the food is great too. The steak fries were delicious. And the wings were some of the largest I've seen anywhere! Get on the list and have a meal here. Or go to the back for beer and snacks that you can take to their patio or upstairs to a room there.

Genevieve A.

Yelp
Cute little stop along the bathhouse row. To drink, the Sweet Nectar of the Gods and Chaude Fontaine. Both very refreshing and the Chaude Fontaine was unique with the banana finish. Started off with the beer cheese dip&chips. The chips were thick cut paired with a delicious, but quite thin dip. Tap house burger- loved supporting Arkansas farmers and burger sauce made a good burger even better. Mac&cheese was thick which is just how I like it. Added a bit of pepper for extra flavor. My partner said the patty melt was a hit! Got seated immediately which was nice as we sat in front of the windows (perfect for people watching). Server was busy but sweet. Highly recommend stopping by.

Steve A.

Yelp
Great beer garden outside and the spicy smash burger and fries were excellent. Dogs are welcome also.

Katheryn W.

Yelp
This place was high on our list of must do when visiting Hot Springs. The service was great, pretzel was yummy, and beer was great too! Good vibes and fun brewery.

Ren N.

Yelp
Pretty good pub menu, with the usual, artichoke dip, flight of beers (18 total!) and burgers. Came during low peak season. We can pretty much sit anywhere we want. We ordered a flight of beer; to be exact they're roughly 2 to 3 dollars for 4 ounces. Grabbed a few appetizers, of the ones we ordered fried cauliflower was the best and the cold artichoke was the worst. I'm more used to warm dip that is easily scooped up by chips versus breaking your chips because dip is stuck together. Definitely make sure to check out the merch section I got this lovely long sleeve 100% cotton souvenir shirt for $10 (originally $40). Excellent service easy-going not too loud environment although will be cool to have some TVs to watch.

Paige C.

Yelp
Visited Superior Bathhouse Brewery on our first night in town. We were absolutely starving after a long drive and we scarfed down our food so fast I forgot to take picture. 2 beers each, a burger and turkey wrap- hit the spot. We come from a larger city with plenty of breweries, can confidently say their beer here was really good. Their fries were also great, but the sweet and spicy bacon on both our sandwiches really stood out. Loved the patio, great view of down town. Wonderful way to start our weekend in town.

Marina H.

Yelp
My husband, three month old baby, and I went here on a Thursday evening. We really enjoyed the ambience. We sat outside because we had a stroller and they had misters on the patio to cool you off. The staff was super accommodating and helpful and friendly. I am not a beer drinker, so I ordered the beach juice which is a ginger seltzer. It was tasty and for once I finished my drink faster than my husband, which is very unusual. He got the spicy ride, which is a jalapeño beer and said it was good . The staff let him sample beers before him to decide on which one to get. We ordered the Bavarian pretzel with beer, cheese and honey mustard. We also ordered the fried cauliflower. The history and uniqueness of the brewery is also cool. They are the only brewery located in a national park. And the only brewery to use thermal spring water to brew beer. They are located in one of the historic bathhouses I would come here again if I visited Hot Springs again.

Mariel T.

Yelp
A must stop for a hot springs visit!! Especially when you have your pup(s) in tow. We tried every single beer in the beer flight - some were hits and some were misses, but that's personal preference! Wings were crispy and warm and came with 3 dips (ranch or blue cheese). The steak sandwich was delicious with the beer cheese on it and the fries were in our top of all time. Service was pretty great even in the waiting room/walk up bar.

Mary B.

Yelp
Ordered a Funguy which has 2 hamburger patties, Swiss cheese and grilled onions. Must be a local thing having 2 burger patties per bun. Patties were more well cooked than I usually eat a hamburger. Also ordered waffle fries that came with a marshmallow dip... very different, but people with sweet tooth will probably love it! The root beer drink is made with the natural spring waters here. I am eating in their "beer park" area where you order food and drink one place, walk upstairs to a music and game area and they'll deliver the meal to you by number. It was faster for me than waiting for a table on the first floor.when the players allow the Jenga blocks fall, be ready for the crashing sound!

Lexi H.

Yelp
We came here after a hike with our dog and enjoyed the patio. We got the 18 beer samples, cheese fries and the Memphis hot dog. We were bummed the patio didn't have the full menu but I understand. We also got some chicken for the dog and it was really well grilled and honestly looked great for humans too! The fries weren't great and the cheese easily came right off the top layer.

Michelle T.

Yelp
Limited menu for outdoor dining. But everything is delicious. Will definitely go back

Great location! We enjoyed a beer flight, hot pretzel and decadent brownie/ice cream dessert. Our server was fast, fun, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend stopping here!

Yelp
3 overall but a 2 for seating; Well, in all honesty, it was ok - just ok. The service and staff were very nice, the food was ok ( it's a good place for a burger and a beer) and as far as the ambiance - the seating is minimal really and we were seated at the window which was a no go. To be clear, when I say at the window I mean by a window with maybe a long 4-6" wide piece of wood as a table. We are 6' and 6'4" so sitting here was uncomfortable and we had to sit sideways because the wall this piece of wood is attached to is right there. No true room to sit and relax without hitting our knees and let's not forget about the dishes that barely fit on this piece of wood. Just awkward and should really be updated. But, with that the beers were ok as well and the best were the spicy and the basic peach sour. I opted for a Pinot Grigio after trying the 4oz sour and my better half got a larger spicy. We would recommend (1) for its historical venue and (2) it's a good place for a burger and beer.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and pet friendly! We absolutely love hot springs and this is our new favorite spot! The staff was so friendly and help us with our not so friendly yet puppy that was getting use to humans, which made him feel right at ease. They have a menu for pups and he got his own souvenir! Absolutely will return!

Yelp
We all came in to try the beer bath it's about 18 beers +4 extra that the bartender gave us that day it'll cost you about $40 but it is totally worth it because there is no way one person can drink all of those by themselves. Each sample is about 4 ounces so it's definitely the best bang for your buck when drinking beer here. We ordering a Bavarian soft pretzel that came with beer cheese, and honey mustard to share, it definitely wasn't as big as I thought it was going to be. We also ended up sharing a steak sandwich that came with sautéed onions, beer cheese and we also beefed it up with peppers and mushrooms. The sandwich was definitely shareable and it came with a side of fries. Definitely come and visit the bathhouse again. This is such a unique experience, and all of the beers impressed me.

Yelp
Love this place! We stopped in for dinner and were so pleased! Interesting beers, delicious sweet potato salad. I added grilled chicken which was so well done. Nice, helpful server. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I mean it's all about the experience but the amazing beer and tasty food help! Such a neat location, amazing history and charm. My husband and I got a flight of beer to share and they were so delicious and had great variations. We also shared a Rose's burger and fries, tasty! Staff was helpful and kind as well.

Yelp
This place was the best surprise! Haven't been back to Hot Springs in 20 years, before the bathhouses were restored and opened back up to the public and before the Majestic Hotel burned down. Always wanted to see the inside of the bathhouses. Stopped into the Superior Bathhouse Brewery, expecting tourist grade beer and food, but oh no! The flight of beer was the most outstanding flight we've ever sampled. Every beer a winner! Whoever is brewing has incredible talent and skill. The soft Bavarian pretzel along with the Beet salad were just excellent! The ambience and service were also outstanding. It is a bit off the highway, but so worth it. Even purchased a souvenir t-shirt. Hoping to make it back someday.

Yelp
We ate dinner here our first night in Hot Springs, and it set the bar high for future meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the beer! We were seated quickly (even with a party of 7), and our waitress took excellent care of us (including our 3 kiddos who were tired from the day-long drive). My husband and I each tried a flight of their craft beers, which are brewed using the hot spring water. I ordered: #6 Spring Training, #11 Chaude Fontaine, #14 The Beez Kneez, and #16 DeSoto's Folly. I enjoyed every single one, with #11 being my favorite and #14 being the most interesting. My daughter ordered their World Famous Root Beer, which is also made with the thermal spring water, and real honey. She said it was the best root beer she's had! We ordered the Bavarian Soft Pretzel for our appetizer, and we choose the house-made beer cheese and house-made bacon horseradish dips. My husband enjoyed the bacon horseradish and my kids and I loved the beer cheese. We eventually ordered a second pretzel because it was so good. For entrees, our kids ordered the chicken tenders with fries (they said the fries were awesome!), and a plain cheeseburger. I ordered a Rose's Burger, which has onion-bacon jam and Gouda cheese - soooo delectable! The restaurant is in a former bathhouse, so the decor is centered around that theme. Our kids enjoyed being able to see the brewery side too through a glass window (near the bar). I highly recommend dining here. If we pass through Hot Springs again in the future, this will be a definite spot to return to!

Yelp
Blame it on my English heritage, but I have a confounding obsession with fish and chips. I am nearly always disappointed when I order them because the fish is usually tasteless on its own, and wholly dependent on malt vinegar to have any flavor at all. But does this consistent disappointment curtail my obsession? Of course not. So when I walked into Superior Bathhouse Brewery and saw malt vinegar on the table, I knew what I was ordering without looking at the menu. Bracing myself for more of the same, I was stunned to find the fish was the most delicious item on the plate. So well seasoned, the vinegar was an afterthought. (Honorable men to the outstanding cole slaw as well!) I was so stunned and my only disappointment was that I don't actually live in Hot Springs to allow me to visit more often. The building is so historic bathhouse, it still has the original tile. Very authentic. The service was also exceptional. Our server was incredibly accommodating and gave excellent recommendations for first time patrons. All in all, I whole heartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Hot Springs area.

Yelp
Beer selection is great for a craft brewery. Food is good too. We sat on the patio as it was a beautiful early December day. Ashley, our server, was wonderful. I recommend the Elote corn nuggets and, of course, the Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese dip.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat and drink in Hot Springs! Brews and food are great. On the most recent visit we sat inside at the tables against the windows facing the street since it was raining, but when the weather is nice the patio is a great place to eat, drink, and people watch. Highly recommend Rose's Burger with the bacon jam--delicious! The fries were thick and crispy. The Bavarian pretzel was big and salty with a thick beer cheese dip to go along with it. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and prompt.

Yelp
Great food and great atmosphere. We always love eating outside under the umbrellas. Such great burgers and a great selection of beers. Onion ring stack? Come on this is so excellent.

Yelp
Fun place to be! Good appetizers - honestly loved the beer cheese dip. Service was fantastic and helpful! Really neat atmosphere since it was inside an old bathhouse. Beer was good, I tried a flight to check out four different beers.

Yelp
I love to eat and drink here when I'm in the area visiting! The beer selection is great. The food is even better than the beer! It's pet friendly, which I love. I had some of the best cornbread of my life with chili, which was seasonal. But try it if you go in the cold months! Friendly folks & it's the perfect location right on the main strip. Cutest little spot to have a beer and lunch or dinner.
