The Best Margaritas in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"This colorful and sprawling St. Charles Avenue stalwart with plenty of outdoor seating consistently earns raves for its margaritas made with a variety of tequilas and fresh citrus juices. Calorie counters can ask for the skinny margarita, better make it a double. Note: Even if you’re sitting at a table, the restaurant tends to serve the margaritas in Styrofoam cups, especially during happy hour." - Beth D’Addono

Google
I got the ribeye fajitas medium rare and they definitely came out well done. It’s one of the most expensive dishes on the menu and they jacked it all up. I’ve also never seen broccoli in fajitas before, my whole table thought that was weird. Queso was good, service was good. Very impressive bourbon line up.

Being from Texas, I wouldn’t normally seek out a Mexican restaurant in Louisiana—but while staying at a local motel, my husband and I stumbled upon Superior Grill and decided to give it a try. We sat at the bar and ordered the seafood chili con queso and the crawfish enchiladas—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold, fresh, and a fun twist on Tex-Mex with a local flair. The margaritas were mid-level, likely made from a mix, but the great atmosphere and fantastic food more than made up for it. Definitely a pleasant surprise and worth a stop if you’re in the area!

The duck tacos were great. The shrimp in the quesadilla was well past it's prime.

4-Star Review for Superior Grill, New Orleans Overall, we had a great experience at Superior Grill in New Orleans! We were a large group of 18, and despite having only one server, the service was excellent. They kept everything running smoothly, and I hope we didn’t stress them out too much because they really did an amazing job. The food was wonderful. The queso dip and guacamole were outrageously addicting, and everyone at the table couldn’t stop raving about them. I actually stuffed myself before my entree came because the food were that good. I was also impressed with my ribeye steak—it was cooked perfectly, which was a pleasant surprise for a Mexican restaurant. The seafood dishes were just as good, and the portions were generous. Plus, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food we got. The downside was how cold it was inside. All 18 of us were freezing, and despite asking multiple times to turn down the AC, nothing changed. It definitely made the experience a little less enjoyable. Also, the atmosphere wasn’t ideal—we were surrounded by screens, which didn’t create the cozy vibe we were hoping for. But overall, the excellent food and service made up for it, and we still had a great time!

My fish taco was terrible; guacamole was flavorless; enchiladas was okay; and my side salad was delicious

Google
I really like the Superior Grille on Saint Charles Avenue. The food is always fresh and comes with great chips and salsa. The service people are friendly and go out of their way to be accommodating. I also like the lively atmosphere and the Mexican music in the background. I have always had a great meal here.

Google
The chicken and steak in our meals were beautifully seasoned. All of our food arrived hot and quite quickly. Portions were huge. Our server was friendly, cheerful, and attentive. I was very happy with the large open windows/doors that allowed for indoor patio seating. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I look forward to returning.

Google
The food was amazing. The meat in the tacos was to die for. The atmosphere was top notch. We had two bartenders that were absolutely great at their job, Justin and Sophia. They had another guy behind the bar too that didn't seem to really do anything, Alex. He just kinda stood around and looked lost. I asked him for some salt. I'm still waiting. Shame.

Yelp
Hated it. Portopotty Bathroom. Mexican Food in Louisiana? It sucked. The server got our order wrong. Carne Asada was tough tasted old, stale, and with sugar poured all over it. Pretty much wasted $$ on crap. Taco Bell would have been a better choice the Superior. They need to change their name. Substandard Grill If you want drinks with a good Mardi Gras parade location, it's appealing. Try other locations if you good traditional Louisiana Food!

Yelp
So I've been itching to check out Superiors grill for some time time so I stopped by recently for a solo dinner to check it out. The decor itself is very cool and festive. Superior's has a real cozy feel to it. I sat in the front facing the windows out to St Charles. The party atmosphere was more in the bar area. Food was neither great or bad just sort of standard Mexican. The chips and Salsa were really good. I had a combo plate of enchiladas - chicken, shrimp, crawfish. Again very average. Service unfortunately was horrendous. It was not busy in there so where in the Hell my server kept disappearing to was an absolute mystery. For blocks at a time my server was no where to be found. No check back, no refills on water or margarita, but boy was she itching to put that check down. When I asked to see the dessert menu I got this look like, you gotta be kidding me? Then preceded to tell me in hush tones that I didn't want the desserts and coffee here because they were sub par when in realty she just didn't want to be bother with me anymore. I really didn't care and ordered the butterfingers pie and it was damned good! I'm glad I finally tried Superiors but there are so many other much better Mexican restaurants around than to settle on this mediocre place.

Yelp
Superior Grill is a classic and known by just about everybody. I've lived in the neighborhood for 10 years but have never been. I'm not a freak about tequila and if I go out to dinner there's a 95% chance that i'm getting steak and potatoes. But sometimes... you have to step out of your shell. I have visited here twice and had pleasant experiences both times. First visit our server was just 'ok'. Once he delivered our food he forgot about us. Luckily we were in no rush and ordered enough waters and margaritas to keep us hydrated but he definitely could've been more attentive. As a person who does not like tequila, I tried the strawberry margarita ($20) and boy was that delicious! It's strong and will hit ya! 5 drinks already hit $100. Bit pricey but I'm happy I got it. The steak fajitas were yummy but definitely could've had more flavor. The rest of my group said their dishes were warm, not hot like my sizzling fajitas. That wasn't ideal to hear. I'd probably return just to have the strawberry margarita and queso. Be aware though! I witnessed two tables beside us freak about the bill total. They were charged $18 for queso. We discovered that we were too. There's nothing special about the queso either - just cheese. It's delicious but it's not worth $18. Turns out they have two sizes but if you have a party over 3 they will automatically bring you the large. At our second visit, we made sure to say the small ($9). What shocked me was that the server asked if we wanted anything in the queso (meat/chicken). Could you imagine how much that queso would've been if I had said yes? Lol. The atmosphere is what makes this place. I'm happy just sitting in there. Try to get an "outdoor seat". On nice days they open it up but it's still gorgeous when the glass windows close it from the heat. Superior is great for photos and good drinks. Food could definitely improve and is not worth the high price.

Yelp
Good consistent food. This is your neighborhood Mexican place. Everyone shows up to eat chips and salsa, the margaritas have alcohol and taste good, the food makes you happy then you go home. No bells or whistles, no eccentric menu items. The servers will check on you. And the place is cozy without needing to be extra. And that's not a bad thing. You know what you're going to get every time and that's a really good feeling sometimes. It's a fun place to bring a bunch of friends in your lounge attire and just chill

Yelp
Stayed at The St. Charles Inn and ate at Superior Grill, which is attached to the hotel. Duck Enchiladas were outstanding! Nicely filled, seasoned to perfection- not too spicy!!! Beans & Rice were a perfect compliment, although I was concentrating on devouring the duck!!!

Yelp
I went to eat here last week with my boyfriend had the best experience with Alejandro. The drinks were high quality, the was food was delicious and even the bathrooms were exquisite. I 100% recommend coming to eat here and will definitely be back. Ask for Alejandro as your server you won't regret it!

Yelp
Anthony at the bar was exceptional with taking care of our order. Always a good time enjoying delicious Tex-Mex and yummy margaritas. Superior is known for a reason. They do it right on all aspects - food, service, drinks. Never disappoints. My go-to Tex-Mex choice for consistently good food and fantastic margaritas!

Yelp
We had 90 minutes for lunch after finishing three full baskets of chips, salsa and queso...we finally asked for the manager. He started with "your modifications to 3 lunch bowls as the cause of the long wait"...not I am dumbo the manager and I apologize for the lengthy wait time...and I would like to comp your meals today. Nope! It was more of the same lame excuses and "you think your meals should be free?" That comment came from this idiots mouth who has been running this place for 19years. The disrespect and lack of accountability was too much for our party...so we left! I do not recommend this restaurant at all...I do strongly suggest the dumbo manager go hospitality school!

Yelp
We had a great meal here recently. The staff accommodated us with a reservation for 8 when I called (max was 6 online). They provided a high chair for us, so it is kid friendly. The service was great, the food was excellent and they even did a birthday celebration for my wife's birthday (not complimentary). The crawfish enchiladas and taco dinner were great. The margaritas were tasty. The bathrooms were located outside in a trailer, but they were clean.

Yelp
It has been a minute since I've been to Superior but returned and it was as sorta like remembered...perfectly reasonable in some aspects others not so much. Service was adequate but she must have had tables in a multiple sections of the restaurant because it was sure hard to locate her. The food was ok although my plate came out cold, my partners came out with a bacon wrapped shrimp on the combo seafood platter. The menu had no mention of bacon in the dish it said it was a shrimp skewer and this was a major dietary restriction. This place could really use some vegetarian awareness and offer some options on the menu (one person in the party was vegetarian the other pescatarian for clarity). By the time our waitress was back in our area again both meals where cold. For the portions it was a 3 star experience but the issues we experienced shouldn't go unnoticed.

Yelp
This was my very first time experiencing the Superior grill. The atmosphere is nice with great Spanish music. I get the tortilla soup and the Salmon salad, both of the meal was very tasty .They made the salmon medium well was perfect I was very happy with my waitress her name is Ivy ,very attentive with kind personality kind personality.Thank you Ivy I definitely recommend this place

Yelp
We wanted good Mexican food and we chose Superior. We each had a margarita, (not top shelf, just the regular ones). I ordered a steak quesadilla and my husband ordered 3 street taco's. The food was good. The prices were not good. We were SO SHOCKED when the bill came. It was $91 BEFORE TIP. The prices have skyrocketed so BEWARE!!!

Dani V.

Yelp
Thank you Devon!! You are exceptional for splitting our checks despite how busy you are. The food was also really good and you even looked for Band-Aids for our good friend. The vibe of the restaurant was fun and exciting. This is true New Orleans cuisine and I love it here.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
The margaritas are good but that's about it. I love Mexican but the food here just doesn't do it for me. Service has always been good and it's a fun atmosphere.

Francisco S.

Yelp
Salty guacamole and cheese dip. Well, that's what we got at this place. Granted, the service good, but unfortunately I think whoever was in the kitchen that night was feeling a little "salty". I mean if I was drunk I probably wouldn't care but I wasn't. I probably shouldn't be surprised because a few months ago, we stopped by and ordered something, I don't remember exactly what was it, but what I remember is that the rice was loaded with cumin. If you had a similar experience let me know, and what place would you recommend instead.

Yelp
WOULD BE POPULAR @ AUSTIN Growing up @ Austin,, I've eaten at myriad local suburban Tex-Mex places, been to countless margarita happy hours, and Superior fits the suburban mold more than any other in New Orleans. Why? It's not a dive - family friendly suburban I always see people I know The margaritas are killer (Happy Hour 3:30 - 6 PM) Service keeps the regulars coming back And it's so damn festive! AND UNLIKE JUAN'S THEY DON'T CHARGE FOR CHIPS!!!

Cheyanne P.

Yelp
The service was awful, I ordered a sassy girl with Tequila not Mezcal. She brought me a soda. Then I waited almost 10 minutes for my drink , she forgot that I wanted Tequila. No apologies. Then I walked up to the bar from my table , the bartender was so helpful and made me a great drink. Our nachos were 6 chips with brisket and cheese melted on each 6. 6 that was it with some guac for $14. So disappointing.

Gina R.

Yelp
The food atmosphere and service was far greater then the average on these yelp reviews! We visited this restaurant after Jazz festival and sat in the bar. I had 3 enchilidas which were okay but this is a town of french food, not mexican, so thats where the comparison lies. Our service was good and atmosphere excellent. It's worth a visit if your want something different that cajun/creole food.

Yelp
Incompetence of management and ability to fix a problem is laughable. Food is fine. But can't seem to work a simple tv. They promote to have games on tv but can seem to figure out how to turn them on? Change channels? Adjust volume? Pathetic. Rewire it or hire competent individuals. I'd start with an AV expert and start over and train!
google avatar

Tori M.

Yelp
Listen. Do they have the best Tex-Mex you'll ever have? No. Are they the cheapest? No. But honestly, the food is yummy regardless of "authenticity." I like to think of it as Tex-Mex with a NOLA twist. It's good! And while the prices are high, the portions are huge! You're getting a lot of food for what you're paying. The atmosphere here is fun and the service is good. Fun night out for the girlies or with ya mom and dad visiting from out of town to get them out of the Quarter. But let's get to the real star of the show: the margaritas. Omg I love their margaritas so dang much. I never get tired of them. My favorite is the strawberry frozen. Call me basic if you want but good is good.
google avatar

Daniel A.

Yelp
The food here is always hot and fresh. I've tried different things on the menu and nothing is ever a miss. My favorite are always the steak fajitas and a frozen Margarita. The ambiance of this location is great and makes for a great date night. The service is always quick, professional and polite. I would highly recommend this location.

Yelp
It's been a few years and my SO was craving a Superior margarita so we headed there for brunch. I got a champagne Rita for my drink and it was okay but not as good as a regular margarita. The complimentary chips and salsa were good and the small queso was a sizable bowl. I wanted some breakfast tacos and the tacos de desayuno were decent. They had eggs and bacon inside with pico, refried beans and a side of breakfast potatoes. The brunch was okay but not really worth the price tag.

Stella P.

Yelp
This restaurant has a great view of the Mardi Gras parades. The Diablo tacos I got were good and pretty spicy, which is something I've missed in my food. The server didn't feel too attentive, although it could've been partially due to the parades. If you want a bathroom pass and a cool place (with good food) to watch the parades, this is your place!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here twice in two weeks because they are so delicious. Dinner on a Saturday night featured the Sangria Margarita Swirl with the Salt Rim, and it did not disappoint! It was not as strong as I expected though. The steak fajita came smoking and hot It was delicious and a very filling meal with the homemade tortillas and the free chips and salsa! I had leftovers for lunch the next day and still had some of my drink leftover to go with my movie at home. Lunch the next week on a Friday featured the Ponchos burrito with steak. It was huge, seasoned well and very flavorful. I recommend lunch or dinner and drinks here!

Yelp
Recommended place for New Orleans style Mexican cuisine! Employees are friendly and efficient, prices are reasonable, portions are LARGE, and the food is rich and satisfying. Shout out to our waiter/bartender Justin who was great. We started off with complimentary crisp chips with flavorful spicy salsa (about a medium spice level). Then we chose entrees to share, since we knew the portions would be large. We ordered the crawfish quesadillas and beef and chicken fajitas. Even sharing, we had plenty of food and extra to take home. I grabbed a couple of chips from our basket to take home as well. Our waiter told me to wait and he brought us out fresh chips and salsa (packaged to-go) to take with us. Overall we had a good experience and would dine here again!

Yelp
You don't need to waste your time here. We were seated at a dirty table with food and trash on the floor. We had to ask twice to have it cleaned up so we wouldn't step in it, and our server made excuses the whole time complaining while doing it. I get that it's probably a rarity, and it's not normally your job as a server, but when a mistake gets made... just fix it. Promptly. The first time. Don't sit there and bitch and complain in front of the customer while you do the job you're getting paid to do. We ordered drinks from the bar and the wrong glass of wine came out... it happens. For sure. But that's just part of the totality of this experience. We had no silverware or napkins, asked twice for them and still didn't get them, food came, and we couldn't eat with no silverware so we asked a third time and finally got it. In general, the service was slow and she didn't seem to anticipate the normal flow of the meal and what she would need to do next. Everything had to be asked for, and then reminded at least once. The food was okay, but definitely nothing special and not worth the total price of the check at the end. We're in town on vacation and had a much nicer meal with an amazing experience for the same price at Tommy's Cuisine last night.. which I highly recommend you check out. I'm surprised this place has 3 stars on Yelp and 4 stars on Open Table. Maybe that's due to the regulars for whatever their reason is on making it a regular spot. Everybody else, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Yelp
Shari V really enjoys Superior. I do not. I end up eating here a few times per year and I can never find a dish I enjoy. Sometimes the food is ok, like their fajitas but typically, the food is kind of crummy. I do enjoy their chips, queso and sometimes the guaca. But after chips and dips, it's usually a slide down for me. Superior is better to have a good time, get some drinks and catch up with friends. The atmosphere is excellent. The place always has the buzz of people having a good time. I rate Superior high in atmosphere but low marks for food.

Whitney J.

Yelp
Anthony at the bar was exceptional! Drinks - strong. Food - delicious. Service - impeccable. Superior Grill does it right! A solid tradition on delicious Tex-Mex and yummy margaritas! What's not to love? They are my go-to for a good night enjoying Tex-Mex and Margaritas!

Yelp
We finally tried Superior Grill after a dozen visits to the larger and glitzier Superior Seafood (of which we're huge fans.). We're now fans of Superior Grill also. Good location on St. Charles Avenue in Uptown. We sat on the front porch, had margaritas ($11 each), burrito bowl, enchiladas, etc. Food, service, drinks, and ambiance were all fine. Great place for Mexican food and lunch, based on our experience.
google avatar

Chad H.

Yelp
Street tacos were a mixed bag, duck was good, brisket was pretty good, Chicken had more onions than chicken ( I asked for no onions). The Queso was also overpowered with onions as well. I have eaten at this location before and a few times in Shreveport a long time ago. Maybe they were in a post Mardi Gras funk.
google avatar

Adrianna P.

Yelp
Overall a decent restaurant. I would go again. Good food. Didn't have a chance to try the drinks. Will do that at my next visit.
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Really nice and fun atmosphere! I loved how close it was to our hotel it made it quick and easy to get something good to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was very good. Service was ok. Looked like he has too many tables. Can't stand drink ice tea with no ice. Put ice in your glass!! And in the tea pitcher for refills.

Harry M.

Yelp
Superior grill was the worst experience I've ever had. I went into the store asking them to charge my phone. Employee's said yes when I went back two minutes later my phone was gone. I searched for my location to find my Iphone and saw that my phone was still located in the store. When I went to speak with the manager about this he replied by telling me I am trespassing and pushed me out of his store. My phone was stolen by staff at a superior grill. The store is full of crocks and I highly recommend no one eats there. The staff are extremely disrespectful and have no remorse.
google avatar

Meghan R.

Yelp
Overall, this place is probably more like a 3-star rating but the salad I got had steak that tasted amazing. I was sooo happy with it, it's bumping this up to a 4-star. We started off with some $9 Happy Hour margaritas that probably weren't really worth it because they were weak sauce. The Paloma I switched to later was better. I got the steak Diablo salad. The steak, as noted above, was super tasty. The portion size and amount of avocado do justify the $19 price tag. Definitely go the Open Table route and get a reservation. Bonus - they allow for fairly large parties on reservation online/have decent amount of space inside for multiple larger parties.
google avatar

Dawn V.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't been here before! My daughter brought me here last night to try the ceviche and the ahi tuna tacos because I told her I was trying to keep it light and healthy- I had no idea they have a "fit" menu with several optionS. (Not so common at Mexican restaurants!) I almost slipped, tempted by the sound of crawfish enchilada, lol, but I LOVED the ceviche and ahi tacos!! They also serve a very large basket of thin, crispy chips and great salsa but I didn't feel like I needed them at all. We also ordered margaritas, a frozen and a rocks, and I thought they were very good Most importantly, our waiter was amazing. I always go back for the service!
google avatar

Dallas S.

Yelp
Mexican food is one of my favorites and superior grill is top of the list for me in New Orleans. And their top shelf margaritas are dangerously delicious.
google avatar

Emily V.

Yelp
Our food was great, but the service was lacking. After waiting 10 min at our table, at 3 pm, I went to find a manager so we could atheist get chips, salsa and drinks...We waited another 10 min before the waitress came...she was the same waitress who passed us at least 5 times and said nothing to us. While I understand good food comes to those who wait, service, especially at a slow time of the day should be a priority. Service could be better, food was great.
google avatar

Meagan A.

Yelp
A very Tex-Mex spot! That is middle of the road enough that a variety of people can enjoy it. My family doesn't always agree on a restaurant, so this is a spot we can all settle on. The price is on the higher side for Mexican restaurants but the food is solid and the portion is quite large. They have a full bar with very delicious signature margaritas. I've frequented here for years and it's great for large table parties, as well. They have the absolute BEST vegetarian fajitas that I've ever found! They don't over cook the squash, which is often a problem with veggies on the grill. There's so much variety on the plate, not too much onions, etc. The accompanying guacamole is tasted too. The only note is I believe I remember from years ago that the rice might be cooked in chicken stock, so it may be something to skip if your vegetarian. Also, for vegan, request no butter to be served with the vegetables.

Scott K.

Yelp
No longer Superior! Plenty of open tables but the teenager wanted to seat us back in the kitchen area. Server was training a Newby but also needed to be shadowing someone. Water glasses regularly left empty as was the chip bowl. Food was ok. All in all, I had built it up in my head based on past experiences. We won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
During normal times Superior Grill USED to be the "go to" Wednesday party place for Uptown. That was years ago back when they actually had decent prices on margaritas. The prices for drinks now are just ridiculous and it survives now based on past legends and fantastic location. The last time I came here was on a Sunday many months ago and I had dinner and a few margaritas and my bill (for just me) came out to over $50. No thanks!!! I can eat at nice fine dining places or go on a margarita bender for 3 days at Juan's Flying Burrito for that price. Tex-Mex is basic simple food and cheap tequila margaritas are very simple pre-made things that don't warrant the premium that is charged at this establishment. Currently during the COVID-19 times Superior Grill has been one of of the consistent places that has been able to handle decent sized numbers of people to dine inside and they have maintained service standards where many other spots have failed. They are still often overpriced for Mexican food but they generally put out good food these days. In an crazy world they seem to have adapted better than most. In these insane times they have been consistent and reliable while many other spots have been much less so. Video Review Here: https://youtu.be/Y_Dp3EvHe7c

Yelp
Bartender Micah and manager Jesse were amazing and got everything we could have wanting. highly recommend them and the restaurant

Yelp
Was promptly seated for my reservation and then waited about 15 minutes for anyone to come to the table. Server arrives and immediately proclaims he's very busy; I would have liked to have ordered a drink but when I asked about vodka selection he didn't know what they carry and made it clear he couldn't be bothered to find out - no big deal, went with a glass of wine instead. After the rough start the service got better and I felt attended to during the meal. Food was good - got nachos and ceviche and both were fine. Best thing about this place is the location and the dining area - we sat in the enclosed atrium. Noise level is extreme but that's common to most NOLA restaurants.

Yelp
We wanted a small meal for lunch, because we had dinner plans. I saw that Superior Grill had 3 stars but we figured drinks and a quesadilla couldn't be bad. I concur the 3 stars. We sat at the bar. Our drinks came fast. We started to wonder if we would have quesadillas, because it took a while before the bartender came back to see if we wanted to order. Once we ordered it came fast and the 1/2 order (4 small triangles) was the perfect size. They were also good, not great. The 2 hostesses were staring at there phones mostly, but they did assist people who came in. Our bartender also spent time looking at his phone and the game playing on the TVs, more than serving. We waited about 20 minutes after we were finished and ready to leave, then we started trying to get the attention of one of the bartenders. We finally got the other bartender to acknowledge us. We saw her tell our bartender that we wanted our bill. He just walked off. We waited a little longer and realized he was not coming over. I ended up telling the manager we needed to leave and had not been given our bill. He got the bartender to give it to us. It was frustrating and disappointing.

Yelp
Excellent tuna tacos off the appetizer menu. I also ordered a small black bean soup. Very very good. wait staff was wonderful and to top it off a larger Superior Margarita with no salt on the rocks was wonderful.

Yelp
I decided to have an early lunch here at 11am on a weekday. I appreciated the early time because there weren't many guests at that time. We started with the Queso. It was okay but I wish it would have been warmer. All of the food was pretty good, very flavorful. The chimichangas are different from what I'm used to, but I'd order them again. Surprisingly, I really liked the chicken enchilada and the taco was awesome. I wish they would have provided sour cream and guacamole for the taco, but I'll just ask for it the next time. I'll admit my main reason for coming here was to try the margaritas. I had a frozen strawberry margarita and it did not disappoint! It was very strong, so I took most of it home to finish off. Would definitely return for both the food and margaritas!

Yelp
My fiancée use to come here when she was in college, so I was excited to try it out. I'm a sucker for Mexican food! The ambiance is pretty nice. Very open and bright from all the windows. It has patio seating which is nice. Our waitress was okay. She didn't have much personality or just acted like she didn't want to be at work. We started out with chips and salsa. The salsa was pretty spicy. We ordered queso, it was pretty good. It did have chucks of raw onion and some sort of pepper I am guessing poblano. I ordered the lunch fajita with steak and chicken. I asked the waitress if the vegetables could be cooked longer and she looked at me weird and then informed me it basically all onions. You get one ring of bell pepper and a slice of tomato. It came with 2 pieces of steak and 2 pieces of chicken. For the price I was expecting a little more even though it was a lunch portion. My fiancée got 2 hard grilled chicken tacos and she asked for sour cream on the side. Be prepared, it was a $3 charge for a dollop of sour cream. All in all the food came out hot and had good flavor. Is it worth the price?? Jury is still out.

We used to love this bar/restaurant I don't know if COVID changed things it is not as good as it used to be. Went in for drinks and appetizers we sat at the bar. It was after 6:30 in the evening people just leaving from happy hour. Service at the bar was slow and bartenders weren't really friendly. After waiting a bit for drinks we wanted food That didn't happen we left and went to another place. We did try again because they used to have a good gumbo- same thing happened-we left.
