I was very pleased when I finally stopped in. Being from California everybody knows about Superior Market. I know a location open up off of Nellis, but it was too far for me to travel. I came in and went straight for the tamales and the agua frescas. I got one of each available flavor: jalapeño cheese, beef, pork, strawberry, chicken, corn, and blueberry mint Fresca. I also loved that they have a juice bar. A hot food bar where you can get tacos, rice, fresh pork skins, beans, fried and flavored sauced wings. They have a bakery section and of baked goods, pre made items for on the go. I bought salsa verde and it was amazing. Not overly friendly but nice clean environment

I’m happy as come to Vegas. I worked in the store as a receiver 20 years ago in Los Angeles. Love the bakery. Just needs to make sure they have items that are on sale not running out.. Like chicken legs for $.49 and the collard greens for $.99.

Wow this place runs some of the best sales on fresh service counter meats. The team is great and will cut to your desired thickness. The run specials on T-bones steaks for $3.99 per pound. Boneless in Rib eyes for $5.99 per pound.

Love the store. There’s a problem though… Update: The store looks wonderful. Great service. I already help out a lady earlier trying to save 3 shopping carts. I know it was kind of windy that day but the incline concrete doesn’t hold the carts into place. The video shows two stack carts rolling back hitting a car. There’s another car that got hit too. And I saw a lot of loose shopping carts in the lot. Hey, it couldn’t been my car!

I was just at Superior this morning around 8:30am with my 4 year old grandson, I asked the lady in the food section for a sample of "chicharon"...she proceeded to ask me who it was for (which I thought was weird for her to ask). I told her it was for me and grandson to taste, she then tells me "oh no, it's too hard for him"... I have been to Cardenas and Marianas in this area multiple times and have asked for samples, never has any questioned why I want a sample or lectured me about something I cant give to my grandson! The other stores have always been nice and friendly and willing to help. This lady at Superior is why I stay away from this store.

We were excited to check out this store today. We were handed a cart when we walked in and greeted which was nice. We made our way to the deli counter where the ready made food was. We purchased the fried chicken. The 2 workers (male and female) proceeded to speak in Spanish while getting our order and the male told the female to “give them food from the trash” Little did they know my husband understood what he said and did not respond to his comment. Regardless of us speaking English, we do not deserve to be treated this way. We could’ve just walked away and not pay for the food, but we did not. This experience was disappointing and we will not be coming back here again. I agree with the previous comments that Marianna’s and La Bonita have better prices. I would even go out of my way to drive to El Super then come back here. The employees should be trained better even if they hate their job. Nobody deserves to be treated this way.

Yelp
The grocery store is nice and large and filled with all the goodies. The premade food area hosts a Chipotle style area to order some made to order food like burritos, tacos, etc. They also have a tamale cart! With some great flavors both sweet and savory. The workers were super sweet and did their best to attack the long $1 taco line. Honestly not too bad of a wait. I also loved the surrounding area filled with bright colors, fresh drinks, and piñatas!! The $1 Taco Tuesdays were absolutely worth the wait. The carne asada had a great bite and was paired well with the guac salsa. The al pastor was also good, however I wish it had the bits of pineapple to add more acidity. But overall I'd be back for this deal again!

Yelp
Superior Grocers recently opened a location on the west side about a block away from Arizona Charlies. It's large beautiful and new. They sell fresh baked goods, hot prepared foods, lots of hard to find Mexican specialties, live plants, and all your normal grocery items and meat departments. My favorite part was the produce section. Lots of fresh produce at great prices. Also lots of dried peppers here to make all those salsas and they even had FRESH Chile Chiltepe here. Lots of help were working there today. This is a great addition to the area. Parking was close and easy.

Yelp
I like it here. If you come on the weekend, they usually have samples in the first area when you walk in. Tamales at the front of the store that are cold are 2.50 but the fresh ones in the pots are 2.99. A tub of guac is kind of expensive at around $10. Much cheaper to just buy all the ingredients and make it yourself- unless you're lazy, like me. I always get their tortilla chips and cup of flan. If fabric softener is on sale, I'll buy it here too. The cashiers are friendly enough. I'll be back in about 2 weeks.

Yelp
Loved the pasties & all the variety of foods they offer. I'd go again if I was on that side of town.

Yelp
It was me and my sons first time going to Superior grocers. I saw great reviews on tik tok. When we got in line for the hot food, a drink spilled so I went to get someone who was speaking perfect English to a prior guest but acted like he didn't understand me or speak English when I told him about the spill. Then while checking out, a worker comes from behind the counter to stir something, but there's clearly no room for her. She stepped on the back of my shoe or didn't say excuse me or anything. I won't be coming back anytime soon or at all. The tamales had too much masa and the ceviche wasn't fresh like they say. They need to treat all customers with respect not just Hispanics. And there are over priced! I'll stick with La Bonita. They show me respect period.

Yelp
Very disappointed with the service, we asked for 1 chile relleno (3 pieces) not COMBO! And were charge like a combo meal $10.99 (for one chile relleno????). Didn't notice because we bought a lot of items. Till we got home we saw the charges ! Very unprofessional and dishonest! Be very careful

Yelp
THE BEST Mexican grocery store in Vegas, hands down!!! I live in the area, and we all waited ALL YEAR for this location to open. Not disappointed AT ALL!!!
