Supermercado La Joliet

Supermercado La Joliet catered our backyard wedding on 6/21/25 and did a great job! We served tacos from their taco truck as well as a buffet that included roasted chicken, bistec a la mexicana, rice, beans, and pasta salad. We were slightly nervous about how long it would take to serve our 100 guests from the truck, but they were very efficient and everyone had their first round of food within 40 minutes. Our guests LOVED the food, and several have told us it was the best wedding food they've had. Additionally, Lucia was helpful in assisting us leading up to the day. We live in MN but got married in IL where my family is. Lucia worked with us via email/phone and did a tasting with my parents to set the menu and accommodate our guests' dietary restrictions. Their prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend Supermercado La Joliet's catering and taco truck services!

This deep-fried catfish was plain awesome. I wish they would serve it on the outdoor patio restaurant area, but they don’t. You go into the meat counter order it. They plumbed in aluminum foil and we went outside and ate it. Very worthwhile!!

We were passing through and looked up a place to get some great food, and here we are! This was the best taco meal we have ever eaten. Great people at the counter also. We will be back!

I’ve been eat from here for years and The food is always great and the customer service is alway good. Taco dinner is my go to and always have me dancing. Thank for the good food. Gracias Muy Bien

Love this place food is amazing definitely recommend I do miss their dollar tacos tho but still one of my favorite places the tiendita is well organized as well

Cashier women had an attitude at the restaurant side, had to cancel order due of her ignorance. Never have I had an experience like this.

I travel 45 mins bi weekly just to get tacos from here and i say that proudly😂 i always get veggie tacos (beans,rice, onion, and cilantro) and it’s always delicious. If ur vegetarian and want tacos this is the place!!!

The food wasn't all that and I am very displeased because when my bf gave tha lady tha money it was 11 dollars and gave her 15 and she tried to keep tha change as if she forgot smh
