Google
Supernatural Coffee is an awesome spot for a pick-me-up right on Warren Street, tucked inside an antique shop. The space is bright, airy, and has plenty of room to relax. The coffee is fantastic — all local and really high quality. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a great cup in Hudson!

Google
REALLY wanted to love this place! Went in getting a large coffee order for the office I work in and the person at the counter was rude. I could get over that if the drinks were good.. they were not. Everyone reported their drink tasting weird or off and 4 of us got very sick from our drinks. I also ordered a total of 8 drinks but only left with 6. Was charged for all 8 but we were just in such a confused state at the lack of customer service and communication from the staff we didn’t notice until we got back to the office. There was also flies all over. now I understand that can’t always be controlled but it did not appear there was anything trying to prevent or catch the flies from flying around the open food and drink.

Google
My friends and I felt so welcomed here. It was friendly and warm and the coffee was delicious. Definitely our favourite spot for coffee in Hudson.

Google
Ordered an iced oat milk latte and was charged 8.50. The board clearly states an iced latte is 5.50 and if adding flavor it is a dollar extra. I suppose that oat milk costs an additional 2 dollars? It states off to the side that vegan milk is an extra charge… but I wasn’t anticipating an almost 10 dollar latte. Won’t be returning …

Google
Excellent coffee and baked goods. Killer freshly baked scones (fruit & savory version) and biscuit-based breakfast sammy. Lots of light, seating, on sidewalk too, friendly staff.

Google
Such a weird experience. I asked to order a dirty chai (chai tea latte with shot of espresso) I was told I could not order that & that they didn’t make those & I again asked why they couldn’t just put a shot of espresso in the latte & all I got was “they don’t do that” so as I was leaving my fiance suggested to try to order the two things separate & weirdly enough that worked no thanks to the staff offering that as an option (I was on my way out)… the person who took my order was not only rude but very unhelpful. $21 for biscuit sandwich, latte, espresso, & a horrible weird customer service experience. They also didn’t smile once… pick a different profession if you’re not a people person!

Google
The espresso was more sharp than i expected. $3.50. Nice music, nice vibes. Food is a limited selection of pastries.

Google
Worse coffee I’ve had in a while. My friend ordered an iced latte with 3 shots, barely could taste the coffee and when he said it was weak they answered “what can I tell you…”

Yelp
Pictured are matcha, a London fog, and an olive oil cake. The teas were very refreshing on a hot day, and the olive oil cake was moist and fluffy. The plastic cups was a little funny in presentation but flavor was good overall

Yelp
I'll never understand why the customer service here is so poor. I'm a local living in Livingston and every single time I've come here the service has been abysmal. Please educate your staff how to treat customers and explain what a Dirty Matcha "Camo" is. This is craft 101 and I nor anyone else should be put in the position of embarrassment in-line because a lack of knowledge on the other side of the counter. You'd think here and Hudson Roasters down the street would have a higher standard of CS when operating in such a small town. Or maybe that's why they get away with it since it's slim pickin's. Anyway... save yourself the trouble and drive to Catskill or go to Moto, Banque, Olde, or literally anywhere else.

Yelp
Another visit yesterday - and the quality remains A+. I've recently become a fan of "cortado" coffees, which in Spain is one shot of espresso and a bit of milk. (In Brazil, it's 1/2 shot of coffee). Supernatural uses TWO shots of coffee (yum!!) and their coffee blend is absolutely perfect. The scones were also great - freshly made and very tasty.

Yelp
Warm welcoming service and chill vibe & music. Good, bitter cappuccino. Tasty gluten-free options among the baked goods. The GF oatmeal bar and the (non-GF) olive oil cake were delicious! And quite reasonable prices.

Elisabeth M.

Yelp
Delicious treats - cookies and muffins are amazing. I did not get a chance to try any of the drinks though.

Yelp
10 out 10.... Morning glory muffin was life changing .... coffee top notch. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere ... good place to people watch... I will be back.

Kitty G.

Yelp
Terrible customer service by person taking my order. And not just rude to me, rude to everyone.

Gayl D.

Yelp
Just had a polenta muffin and coffee. It was awesome. So fresh made and the quality is wonderful.

Yelp
i used to go here almost every day bc it's affordable coffee at decent quality. recently they're hired a few people who don't seem to know much about the business or the basics of coffee. my sister ordered a dirty matcha and the barista didn't know what it was. she respectfully explained the drink and he laughed at her, claiminf jt was a nasty drink no one would want. another person chimed in, seemingly on damage control, to say that they "don't do that," even after expressing understanding of its components (matcha, milk, espresso.) we were going to pay their extra charge for the espresso on the side and they still refused. this was strange to me, as i've ordered a dirty matcha here and countless other places with no trouble. barista behind the bar was incredibly standoffish about making the drink despite having all the ingredients, and refused to hear any explanation about how all he needed to do was pour a shot on top of a drink he knew how to make. anyway, we ultimately ordered two kced lattes at their recommendation and quickly left out of discomfort. neither of us drink lattes, but it was a little exhausting going back and forth and we both hate confrontation. i've ordered a long shot from this same barista and he didn't know what i was talking about. instead of asking, he quickly snapped "we don't do that here." i left with a mediocre iced latte (again). haven't been back much since. i used to love to sit inside. plants r very nice, even if the crowd is a little stiff. i'd still recommend if you don't mind occasionally being on the receiving end of a barista's anxious defensiveness. i get that it's a tough job, and i will never downplay that as a fellow service worker. but emotional control is a hallmark in the job and i'm afraid their new hires don't all have that.

Janice N.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and pastries! The service is great, excellent, friendly staff. I love the decor, especially the mural.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best cappuccino I've ever had. Creamy, beautiful and smooth. Lucked out with this choice with so many options in Hudson. (The name drew us in as my husband is a HUGE fan of the TV series "Supernatural"),

Yelp
As a coffee nerd- this place is pretty legit Great fresh roasted coffee in the bean hopper dialed in right on point Modern feel, clean with a total NYC feel that's been transported to the heart of the Hudson Valley in Hudson, Ny We tried a cortado - beautifully executed and my wife had a flat white also tasty- we also tried a hunky slice of the olive oil cake oh mamma, didn't see that one coming, amazing!

Yelp
What a miserable experience. The woman serving us was so unfriendly and was more interested in helping the regulars (who, btw, were served their drinks before us even tho they ordered after us). My mocha was awful--I just tasted bitter coffee and ended up throwing it out. My friend's ice latte tasted like milky coffee, and was nothing special. He also ended up tossing his. So super disappointed.

Virginia C.

Yelp
I myself got a matcha and chocolate chip cookie. Matcha was good, not muddy just the right hint of sweetness, creamy too but matcha flavor is present. Cookie was good! Downside is all drinks are one size, and they are basically smalls for 5 bucks which was the matcha price. Friendly and cute place.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and really good pastries. Peach muffin is worth trying.

Yelp
The pastry window was so appealing that we ended up getting 4 of them, and each was mindblowing. Drinks were spot on as well. We were sad to see they weren't open on Sunday. I'd definitely consider this place a must for coffee in Hudson!

Nina K.

Yelp
Denizens of Hudson clearly value their coffee. They support at least three independent places that basically sell only coffee (okay, one of them sells motorcycles, and this one does home-baked pastries). This quirky little store is so inviting, and the coffee so good, it made me sad when it was closed on Sundays during my recent extended stay. But the best to this solitary traveler? The kindness and welcome of everyone working there!

Bridget M.

Yelp
Good coffee, delicious crisp chocolate chip cookie. When I asked to use the restroom they politely directed me to another business for the "public restroom", I got there to find this sign. Nope! I returned to let them know and ... they were pretty rude about it. Not cool. Get your coffee somewhere else if you'd also like to use the restroom!

Yelp
While my drink was quite tasty, $5 for coffee in Hudson, NY is pretty ridiculous. And that's coming from someone who lives in NYC! I had the iced turmeric ginger latte as well as the iced mocha (btw, they charge you 24 cents to add ice...). Again, both drinks were delicious, but I would not go back at that price.
google avatar

Yelp
Interesting mix of fun crystals and coffee. I loved the design of their t-shirts - very unique. I almost bought one of their candles as they smelled delightful and I loved the tie in with the crystals. They didn't have a huge selection of coffee so we tried a cold brew. It was pretty strong and very bitter. I'm not sure I'd buy one of those again. I also thought the price was pretty expensive - seems like everything in downtown Hudson is pretty pricey though so probably just want the normal price is in that area.

Yelp
Love these guys! The Best Coffee in Hudson! They packed up their coffee machine from Moto and shlepped it up to Lick temporarily while they build out their new space at 527 Warren. It's like your friends divorced. But I'm following them around town. Never disappoints!
google avatar

Yelp
Great Mocha! And surprisingly good breakfast options. Plan to make it a regular stop when in Hudson!

Salma I.

Yelp
The best iced matcha in Hudson! Not too sweet and not too earthy. Tastes great with lavender syrup as does their coffee. My favorite baked good is their strawberry rhubarb scone! Cupcakes are great too. All around great energy. Baristas are always so polite and the play the best music!

Lola T.

Yelp
so glad I came in! Great coffee and pastry selection. Amazing staff and ambience Bonus points for fast wifi and outlets for some leisurely work :) A slay as some would say

Yelp
Stopped in during my summer stay in Hudson--mainly came for the olive oil cake which did not disappoint! Everyone was masked up and friendly, and while there was a line it moved fairly quickly. I enjoyed my iced latte and said olive oil cake in the dining area outside, and got a chocolate chip cookie for later snacking. Open early and into the afternoon, which was a plus for a no so early riser like myself!

Yelp
Bees. Bees. Bees. I love coffee, honey and bees. And shops that leave doors wide open for the bees to come in. And dog/wolf hybrids. And coffee that has depth, smoothness and texture. Plus I can read, write and stare out the windows. But the bees, oh the bees. Ok, that's a wasp and a yellow jacket encircling my table. I'm outta here!

Dave L.

Yelp
...with supernatural prices. Good coffee drinks, yes. But over priced even for Hudson.
google avatar

Trevor M.

Yelp
Great coffee and baked goods. Especially tasty are the banana buckwheat gluten free muffins. Thanks, Sarah & Aaron:)!
google avatar

Emma T.

Yelp
They serve Oatly and always have a vegan muffin or baked good option. That's really all you can ask for in a coffee shop. Oh, they also allow dogs, and always seem to have more dogs than any of the other close by coffeeshops, and therefore they win.
google avatar

Phil P.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop in Hudson, New York on Warren Street. Nothing fancy but good coffee and pastries.
google avatar

Joe O.

Yelp
This is one of the best coffee spots in Hudson. Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend the Cappuccino and Banana buckwheat muffin gf!

Yelp
I really liked the vibe of this spot right away. Not to mention my espresso was rich and delicious. The baristo was sweet and greeted me with a smile. Also, it seems to be a healthy mix of young locals, crabby old dudes and even a famous writer i spotted there. I'll never tell who tho. They're entitled to sip their delish coffee in peace. See ya soon Supernatural.
google avatar

Yelp
Last weekend, I visited Supernatural coffee with my parents and was treated very rudely by the employee behind the counter. He made my parents feel very self conscious about their order because they didn't word their order correctly and the coffee ended up being too sweet for any of us to drink. I understand that these are unprecedented times and food workers are putting themselves on the lines everyday but please be kind.

Yelp
Naturally, this is a super spot for coffee. A sweet variety of beans from Lamplighter Coffee Roasters. They had Burundi on my visit and I was in heaven. They have Oat Milk so yaaassss! The Turmeric Ginger Latte "steamer" was divine. Mocha, latte, and drip coffee also pleased the others in the group. We had a bag of like 6 assorted of their baked goods and all were tasty treats. Baristas were on point. Space was inviting and cozy. The place you want to be where you need a coffee when in Hudson.

Jan L.

Yelp
I ordered an oat milk mocha and it was so horrible I threw it out. It didn't even taste like chocolate at all. I almost went back to ask if it had chocolate in it. The barista was super unfriendly the first time I ordered I didn't bother.

Yelp
Casual coffee spot in the middle of Warren Street, serving up tasty coffee and baked goods. We were back in town for a few days and were happy to have Supernatural as a new option. The cold brew was done just right, and gave just enough of a jumpstart without leaving me feeling jittery. Plus, they had Oatly availability, without a surcharge. The bagels and muffins were spot on, and we enjoyed both at a sidewalk table under the morning sun. There's free WiFi (which came in handy one day we had to WFH -- work from Hudson) and their Spotify playlists crush it. As some have mentioned, the prices are a little high (though not charging for Oatly is a bonus), but with real estate in Hudson having skyrocketed, it's easy to assume that costs have gone up substantially. Looking forward to future trip to caffeine-up and chill out.

S. K.

Yelp
Well the good news is that it looks like we haven't been the only ones subject to the rudeness and impoliteness of the Supernatural staff. The bad news is that we haven't been the only ones subject to the the rudeness and impoliteness of the Supernatural staff. A very unpleasant experience and one that I don't want to subject my family to again - we are definitely not coming back. We frequent Hudson a lot and have been here in the past...I'm not sure what has happened?! The good news is that for coffee lovers, Hudson has several super cute coffee shops with friendlier people.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
A return visit (to their new location, a couple blocks down Warren) was better than my last -- pleasant service and tasty coffee. My bottom line: this is a good-enough coffee shop in a town with 5+ good-enough coffee shops.
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee shop in the heart of Hudson. Staff was nice, coffee was good. I tried one of the spice walnut chocolate cookies and it was delicious. The layout is clean and simple. Looks like they do all of the baking on site. Will definitely return next time I'm in H-U-D-son!

Priya R.

Yelp
Great lattes and love the atmosphere. Very friendly staff. They were kind when I asked questions about the different types of drinks. Will return soon!

Sun Young A.

Yelp
This place offers strong but well balanced espresso - little bit on the bitter side. Dog-friendly, people-friendly, and cute interior. Nice place to stop to get fully caffeinated and recharged.
google avatar

Ani J.

Yelp
STRONG COFFEE which I'm a big fan off! The cold brew hits right and the staff is wonderful! If you're looking for any pastries you need to grab the spicy cheddar corn scone it was delicious !!

Yelp
Brew : Tallbike Ambience : Tranquil space with jivey feel-good vibes Service : Willing & Welcome Pulse : Humming glow

Yelp
Coffee has always been great. Service has improved. Probably the best espresso drinks in Hudson.

Howie L.

Yelp
Wow! Supernatural indeed! The 8 ounces or so of coffee cost $3.25. It was okay coffee, but the price of about an ounce of oatmeal milk was an additional $1.50. So, do the math and two cups of relatively small coffee came out to just under $10. Then, of course, I left a tip. In step with the generally overpriced nature of Hudson, New York.

Lar N.

Yelp
I enjoy the coffee and atmosphere really a lot and the baked goods are sooo good. I love the chocolate chip cookies and the breakfast sandwich is also really good. Nice quick spot for a coffee and snack.

Krista B.

Yelp
Really disappointing. Great reviews online, but the service was terrible. Ordered two coffees and requested room for cream; coffee filled to brim so barely any cream. Messy pour, barely got the lid on. They were so unfriendly, felt like it was a bother...just threw the coffee away. I rarely leave a poor review and I fully appreciate these are trying times, but totally unacceptable.
google avatar

Marc N.

Yelp
I really enjoy their espresso based drinks. Not sure what beans or roast they use, but the coffee blows starbeep out of the water.
google avatar

Shaina M.

Yelp
I love the morning glory muffins, and the frittata, honestly I've never had anything I didnt like there! Coffee is great and I like to treat myself to the oatmilk latte. Great staff and space!
