Really great customer service, which makes it extraordinarily pleasant to shop there. Wide selection, from practical to whimsical. Excellent sales. Great go-to for when you need to buy a gift for someone you don't know very well -- who doesn't love something for the kitchen?

Great service, even better employees. They sell some nice kitchen utensils such as All-Clad copper pots and pans. They also stand behind the warranties, as I have to to have a knife exchanged, they took care of me with no question asked. Pro tip: They have good sales on high end stuff all the time, even better then you can find on the net...keep your eyes open C;.

I generally enjoy shopping at Sur la Table because they have a good range of useful kitchen and cooking products (and we are foodies), but the service at this branch is on the low side -- there was only one associate in the store. Fortunately it was a quiet time of day but other shoppers who were looking for help were not receiving any.

Very good customer service, the guy who helped me was very very knowledgeable about knives. I was able to use their display knives and test it out on some carrots. Awesome to be able to try the knife before buying it.

Great selection of items here for the kitchen. They have everything from knifes, to small appliances, to specialized kitchen tools. I end up going here at least once a year to get a few jars of Piment d'Espelette as Sur La Table is the only place in San Jose that I can find that stocks it. I've also purchased a chef's knife here and had a great experience as the staff let me test run quite a few knifes on various vegetables before I made my final selection.

first off, i LOVE to cook and am experienced in all walks of the culinary world. but you are really paying top dollar for your items at this location. i dont know if other locations are cheaper since they arent on santana row, but the prices are outrageous. i saw a cake stand that can double into a punch bowl that i got for 8 dollars elsewhere (i think target?). at sur la table it was around 25 bucks. but they have a wide selection of items, from mid quality to top quality. you can find mandolines, damascus blades and silicone baking mats here. but you can also get the more basic things like potato peelers, cookie cutters or other basic stuff.
