Great KBBQ experience! My first time here for lunch hour (~1pm). It wasn’t busy, we got seated immediately. Shoutout to our server who asked if we had our student ID (10% off for UHM students with valid ID!), she wanted to remember to give us discount! My friend and i definitely ate our money’s worth, the lunch special is worth the price! Everything was very clean and vibes were great. Also they have a call button system so no need wait long for them to get their attention—FIRE experience.

Google
Cool experience. The steak was the one thing that we really couldn’t eat. It was too chewy couldn’t really cut a knife through it. Shrimp, chicken, and brisket were good.

Google
Solid all you can eat spot with good quality meats and side dishes. Wish they had more options for meat. The 2 hour time limit is strict which I find annoying since they take so long to bring more meats when requested

Google
Food was really good..our initial server was okay maybe she was overwelemed but she definitely over charged us on drinks and nevee brought out the drinknww actually ordered. Everything else was okay oncw ahe went on break and another water helped us. Again food was good second server was way better and attentive.

Google
I got the steak bowl delivered via uber eats, probably the worst steak bowl I’ve ever had on the island in the past 10 years, the steak was ridiculously over cooked, chewy, had literally no flavor what so ever… (tasted worse than plain hamburger meat which I don’t mind) . It was suppose to come with “pickled vegetables” I got 4 prices of cucumber in a tiny ranch cup, and a tiny ranch cup of Mac salad. Absolute worse value of any meal I’ve ever ordered for that price, $18. Can’t say anything about the staff cause I got delivery but the vibe of the inside always looks really cool. I could understand if this was some small, hole in the wall place but it’s a legit restaurant that has been here since I moved here 10 years ago. Many people warned me that the food wasn’t great here but now I know for sure, would not recommend, have also heard ALOT of people complain about the quality of food as well. Will never order here again.

Google
They changed their menu and no longer carry the barley ice tea that they used to have. They also need to update their menus still because the server told us things that were different from what the menu said. They also have a self-serve station now for veggies and sauces. Recommend having a reservation. They time your reservations and will warn you how much time you have left on your reservation when it gets close to ending. I remember the meat quality being better before, hence 3 stars for food. Parking is limited and we used their valet service during dinner time. Overall the experience wasn't terrible and I'm willing to go back and try them again.

Google
Great lunch deal with a large selection of foods. Service was fantastic

Google
Just off the plane and in need of food. We asked hotel staff for recommendation and this was it. Our server, Jose, was awesome and over the top! The food on the other hand … more fat than meat, skimpy on the veggies. I didn’t love that our veggies were sitting out in the table when they sat us. It did not speak “fresh” to me. All in all, it was overpriced and lacking in quality.

Yelp
FOOD/PRICE -- All-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot located right across the convention center. The menu is very limited if you only come here for beef, about four choices (brisket, bulgogi, kalbi, steak) but those meats are good, for the most part. Brisket, kalbi, and bulgogi are amazing. Steak was underwhelming. Hard to chew. $31.99 per person. $34.99 for solo dining. 1.5 hour time limit. All of their drinks are non-refillable, except for water. A can of soda is $3. Everything else is $7+. I always love their lychee flavor stuff, including the lychee iced tea and the lychee capri soju. I do like that soups and bibimbap are included in the AYCE price, because in other AYCE KBBQ spots in the area, those items are additional charge. The mac & cheese w corn; and corn & cheese sides on the grill are unique to this AYCE BBQ spot too. SERVICE -- What I like best about this place is their late-night hours, which is open until 2am. Though, their wait time is super long, which is around 30 minutes every time. Reserve your seat ahead of time online to avoid the hassle. Service is decent. Quick to serve meat orders. Recently, they introduced a system in which sides and sauces are now self-serve. I found it a bit chaotic for my liking because it could get crowded really easily, and that you may have to make multiple trips to be able to hold all of your sides and sauces, if you are taking some for the rest of your table. AMBIANCE -- The ambiance is a bit dark, which can be difficult to cook and look around if you don't have perfect vision. Less smokey than other places. There are scribbles of permanent markers everywhere throughout the whole restaurant, which is part of their aesthetic. I think that the vulgar language on the walls are cheeky, ***BUT PLEASE CHECK YOUR WALLS FOR RACIAL SLURS***!!! That is a bad look on you for keeping it on there. PARKING -- Parking is very limited in the area. Look for parking elsewhere. Review for service received on August 6, 2025.

Yelp
We got there at 9:55pm. Reservation was at 10pm. They didn't sit us until 10:17pm. They also seated the walk-ins before us (3 parties) after 10pm. We had to remind the people in the front 2 times that we had a reservation. I guess walk-ins get higher priority over reservations. First order took 30 minutes to come out. We only were able to get 2 orders within our 90 minute allotted time. When I came before, we got about 4 orders in. Brisket was very fatty, regular pork belly was ok, and other meats (bulgogi, beef, and spicy thin poke belly) we tried were not good. They also ran out of the thin sliced pork belly. The fatty brisket and regular pork belly was the best thing we got. Food quality used to be good, but we noticed a decline in quality this night. The waiter was also not attentive with our table and we had to flag him down to fill up our waters twice. As soon as 11:17pm hit, the waiter turned off our grill despite us being seated late and only getting 2 orders in. Not worth the $80 TOTAL for 2 people (20% tip included). We will not be coming back.

Yelp
Last minute reservation since our original restaurant had water outage. Luckily they could squeeze us 10 in. 7 adults, 2 toddlers, 1 baby. Odd that the kids can't sit on the ends of the table...further away from the grill. They need to be put in the middle...we were told that's policy. So my niece got oil splattered on her...me too but not as bad since my skin is old and tough. Other 2 keiki little bit got smoked out since their ventilation is terrible. Workers super nice. Very helpful. Only thing was slow, so you order more not realizing your soup and a plate of meat hadn't shown up yet. Our soup never showed up, but in the end it was okay. Food okay. Meats were okay and not too many options. Bibim shrimp garlic rice junk...basically just garlic, rice and shrimp. Did not get crispy in the bowl...should have put it where the mac and corn was to crisp it up...but was so oily in those slots. Fried garlic kicked it up a notch. LIke that the lettuce and kim chee is self serve. Got that. Sauces are meh. But the S&P + Oil is always my fave and available if need. Overall not bad... It's good for people who want quantity. But quality rides the middle.

Yelp
I treated my brother here for his bday. This place is great! Lively and I love how they flick the lights on and off to loud music for your bday. We ordered their beef brisket and pork belly. Love how their skillets come with mac and cheese and cheesy corn. We also ordered an appetizer of their chicken karaage and seaweed soup. We left this place feeling stuffed! Parking is a bit tricky here but they do have valet parking. Service was good.

Yelp
It's been years since I've visited...in a previous era of my life when I used to come here after a nightclub drunken fest. My friends used to like this place because we wouldn't leave smelling like heavy BBQ unlike other "cook your own meat places." I came with friends after the Maoli concert to get our grind on and after many years I was pleasantly surprised to see not much has changed (in a good way). The menu seemed a bit more limited than what I remembered but it was still quality (especially the meats). I enjoyed the variety of sides and starches. The hot plate has Mac and cheese and corn and cheese in the side compartments which melts when the plate fires up. Everything was flavorful and service was good except my request for sesame seed oil and gotchujang was never brought to the table. We didn't park there (Ubered) but saw there is valet parking available. It was enjoyable to revisit this place again.

Yelp
Not bad at all. Great deal for what you get. A step up in quality from Gen in my opinion. The meat quality was good and sauces were very good too. Service was excellent as well and we were well attended to. Tip. Don't bother with the steak. It is tough, takes long to cook, and is not worth wasting too much of your calories on it. The thin sliced meats were the best. Get some lettuce and make a lettuce wrap with your favorite meat and some kim chee. yum. Overall a great experience and good value for your money.

Yelp
Best AYCE kbbq on island! Sura has a great selection of meats and side dishes (which I feel Gen is lacking in). The only downside is that service can be slow and often leads to us not being able to eat as much since we have to wait between rounds. However, because of the various side dishes and ability to make reservations for parties of any size, I always opt for Sura over Gen. Parking is valet only and is $5 cash or Venmo - don't park in the public pay lot across the street or they'll make you move your car!
google avatar

Brenda L.

Yelp
Sura is definitely one of my favorite AYCE Kbbq restaurants, I always make sure to make a reservation online. There's valet parking out front. They have many selections to choose from and i like how they now have a self serve area for the veggies/sides and sauces. The service is always great! Meat quality is good and I love how they offer many difference sides such as the fried chicken, fries, seaweed soup, and many others to choose from. I always come here at least once a month because it's so good.
google avatar

Bethanie C.

Yelp
I love how easy it is to make a reservation for Sura with Opentable, most KBBQ on island don't let you and its a wait. I took a friend from outta town here and they loved it. Its a good option to choose in between price and quality. I wish they had tongue but I'll settle for kalbi and brisket. Just found out this last time that they will refill your cheese corn and mac n cheese, definitely enjoyed that! FYI the mac n cheese is so good because its actually mac salad and cheese. For all you can eat its a good deal if you're looking for a good bang for your buck.

Yelp
I had a great experience at Sura! I came with a party of 5 and made a reservation in advance. Everything tasted fresh and staff was very helpful. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend the beef kalbi!

OiWai L.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place has a 4-star rating. I was so disappointed with my experience here. The kalbi, which is usually a staple at Korean BBQ restaurants, was not marinated at all. It was just plain, unseasoned meat. The banchan selection was also very limited, with only lettuce and kimchi available. Overall, the meat and seafood selection was limited only shrimp and not fresh since after cook meat is mushy. I've never been to a Korean bbq restaurant that can't even properly marinate their meat and only lettuce and kimchi for banchan.
google avatar

Kanani V.

Yelp
The best Korean bbq ever! Their marination for the meats are so good!! As far as the sides.. the Mac and edamame were my favorite! The kimchi was rlly acidic. The service was fast and good. The place was big & spacious between each table. They have rlly cool graffiti walls! I saw other reviews of food or oil popping onto people, but we're cooking it ourselves so just beware! I didn't have this problem so don't let those reviews get to you!
google avatar

Janey T.

Yelp
This is the perfect spot for KBBQ especially since they close late. My boyfriend made reservations for 8:00pm but weren't seated till 8:45. Other than the wait, everything is was great. The service was quick, the food was amazing! I would highly recommend coming here and also try to make an appointment since it may be a long wait if not.
google avatar

Brian D.

Yelp
The food is great, the sides taste amazing, and their drinks are bomb! Now for the cons... their parking is a nightmare! They closed off the paid lot that was behind the building and now you need to have your car either valet or if they allow you to self park then sometimes the way people park is kinda wonky LOL. The service is alright, nothing super bad so far but the wait can be kinda long during the weekend without a reservation. Overall this place is still a staple for KBBQ but I don't find myself coming here as often as I used to... still recommend if you want to try a place at least once!

Yelp
I went to Sura on a weekend right as they opened and although it was starting to get busy we were able to snag a table. Service overall was good except for an interaction i had with a server. I asked her if she could bring over more napkins and she looked right at me and walked away and completely ignored me. But oh well. The food was delicious. I loved the kimchi soup and the spicy pork belly. I did not like that the grease from the macaroni and cheese, corn and cheese, and the egg kept popping my arms. That was my biggest turn off for the restaurant. The place itself has an interesting graffiti decor vibe going on. I thought it was unique and it located in town where you can people watch. For the price for AYCE i think it's worth your buck. I would consider coming back.

Yelp
We got there and the place was packed so we gave them some time in order for us to get our water or get started ordering. However even after several large parties were gone the service was almost non existent. The food is the as the same as any other Korean Bar-B-Q so I can't complain about that, but save your money and go to another establishment. If you want to understand how dentist feel come to sura and ask for a refill of your water or even another serving of rice (it's like pulling teeth). The waiter barely cleaned the table next to us even after the party had left and the restaurant wasn't busy, another waitress had to call them to finish cleaning up the other table. Don't waste your time, money or breath trying to order here.

Yelp
The worst first time experience ever visiting Hawaii. Drove by here a few days ago and checked Yelp and food looks great so we decided to stop by today after visiting the temple. However, If your restaurant is closed why not update your business hours if you're complete closed? I'm a restaurant owner myself. It only take 30 seconds to update your hours. Horrible management.

Yelp
First time coming here since the disaster last year. We went once for dinner on a weekday and once on a weekend. So this is like a combo of the 2 times we went. - Service is ok ish? They greeted you promptly when you entered and for the Thursday, we were seated quickly but the service for food/drinks/check was really slow especially when there wasn't too many people. Today is a Saturday so we were expecting a wait. I put a reservation in like a month ago? Or longer cause we're at Kawaii Kon. Our reservation was at 9. We didn't get seated until around 10. The waiter/host who had greeted us had said that the tables were ready, they just didn't have enough chairs. Which is wild???? How do you run out of chairs? The host (Ewas really cool under pressure and was working with what he had. So I appreciate him. It's just crazy that they ran out of chairs. I'm still stuck on that. Our server was also awesome. I just could not, for the life of me, hear anything he said. - Normal Korean bbq place. Loud asf lol. - Food was good. Solid 8/10. Just super oily.

Yelp
This is my second time coming here. I came during lunch time and the place was busy but not as busy as dinner. It's a great place for groups of people. They have great service, friendly staff and our grill was always changed (we never had to ask they just know and change it for you). The service was quick. I personally think the selection was limited from banchan to meat but I'd rather have good quality of limited items rather than large selection compromising the quality. Give them a try!

Yelp
Food was alright Service was so so Atmosphere was very crowded good for younger ages and teenagers.
google avatar

Shyann A.

Yelp
Service was pretty slow. I came in and we got our water after two tables sat down and got their water first. I ordered lettuce to eat with my meat, bc I like making wraps... we're already more than halfway done with our meat, then I finally get the wraps... This was probably already 30 minutes since we sat, and atleast 20 since we ordered.. maybe they had to wash it and cut the lettuce from a whole head? I don't know... but it was pretty slow all around and not my favorite kbbq experience
google avatar

Yelp
We went to Sura for my birthday dinner. I've always seen this place when I was younger and there was always a line out the door. There's not much parking around Sura but when called when we arrived there and they told us to park right in front. Not gonna lie, I was a little shocked when I walked into Sura. There was graffiti and writing all over the walls and I guess I just didn't expect that. They sat us quickly and sat us at a pretty spacious table. There were seven of us and they sat us at a table for ten. With the seven of us, they gave us two grills. The grill already had something in it on the edges. I was unsure what it was but it was cooking in there. I scooped out a bit and it was macaroni and cheese. I thought that was kind of interesting. They also had corn in there. Sura is all you can eat but they have strict rules. It says on their menu that if you don't eat all, you will be charged $100 a person. We were a little confused with the ordering part but after many questions we understood. Well, most of us anyways.. I had to redo my parent's order. So on their menu there are two categories: meat and specialties. You choose three meats from the meat category and you can also choose three specialties. Specialties include things like bibimbap, salad, French fries, etc. For our first order we got the kalbi, pork, and bulgogi. For the specialties, we offered two shrimp bibimbap and Kim chee. I'm not much of a meat person but my favorite by far was the bulgogi meat. It was flavorful and we kept ordering it. I didn't really care much for the bibimbap. I guess I was expecting it to be more full of vegetables and instead it just tasted like shrimp rice. Later I also ordered a salad because I felt like they didn't have enough vegetables. But again, that's me. I'm not much of a meat person and I'm at a Korean bbq place. Overall I loved the bulgogi but wasn't jazzed about the decor or the bibimbap. I might try here again with my husband since he wasn't able to come this time.

Yelp
First off, what happened to this place? Beaming with 4 stars & 1k reviews, I was expecting more out of this restaurant. The valet gave us a very good first impression, but as soon as we sat down inside, it went downhill. The server was nice, although they don't cook for you. The most they'll do is change your grill grate, after it's burnt of course. However, our server did check up on us from time to time. The main complaint was the meat quality and the flavor. It seems that they don't marinate it. And it's quite chewy. The Mac & cheese had pasta water taste. The seaweed soup tasted like water & seaweed. The only thing that was good was the egg. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. We didn't even bother to order seconds, took a lost on this all you can eat.

Jill M.

Yelp
4.2 stars! A solid kbbq place which is hard to find in Oahu. This place is straight to the point and doesnt have such an extensive menu. BUT they have what's needed. Meat quality is there and I mist say our waitress was so attentive! Definitely order their steak! So worth it!
google avatar

Melaina Q.

Yelp
We stopped by Sura Korean BBQ for an early Sunday dinner and it was a great experience. It is AYCE with valet parking for $5. The kimchee was spicy and delicious, and the kalbi, brisket, and steak were all fresh, tender, and flavorful. The lychee iced tea was amazing, light, refreshing, and the perfect finish. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Zander B.

Yelp
The quality of the food has definitely declined. I haven't been back since the beginning of summer, and everything has changed. I do like the self-service bar, but they used to be much faster with it. Since then, they're still slow, and there's no meat given to us. The grills are on so low that it takes forever to cook anything. Every time I turn up the grill, they turn it back down to the lowest setting. It took about 10 minutes just to cook a little bit of brisket, and the meat came out even slower. The Kalbi was so fatty and chewy that it wasn't very pleasant to eat. It was pretty packed for a Sunday night, but at the end of the day, I feel like it's gone downhill, and I'm kind of sad. It was one of my favorite places, and I don't know if I'll be back again.
google avatar

Ikaika B.

Yelp
The service from the seating to the check was on point. Very attentive to the customers. Made sure we had our next batch of food to cook before the current food was finished cooking. The quality of food was very good. The corn and cheese in 1 section. The eggs cooked in another section of the grill. See video for more info. These had to be the best tasting eggs I've had in a looong time. The water actually tasted good and not from a hose/filter combo most places taste like. I ordered the thin sliced pork belly, thin sliced beef and a couple of steaks and to start. Very good and delicious. If you are thirsty there is Lychee Ice Tea which is absolutely delicious. Overall it was a great experience and I loved the price of $29.99 even better. They may or may not have the lunch special which is 24.99
google avatar

Yelp
Great meats fun a little work but all worth it !! Classic Korean bbq all done up like graffiti vibe perfect for 2 people or 10 . Packed make a reservation.
google avatar

Ruby S.

Yelp
Cons: Must find side street parking if Kapiolani Blvd is full or pay valet $5. That doesn't include tip. Graffiti or property defacement on outside walls. My sons expressed to me while approaching the building, "Why is there graffiti all over the walls?" Walls inside are plagued with block art, tagging, and written messages from top to bottom. My husband confessed during dinner, "I wish they painted the walls." We noticed an older Korean man sitting at the front check in with a serious appearance on his face. He doesn't say a word to customers and will people watch. There are only a few banchan - fresh, spicy kim chee, edamame, pickled onion. Pros: Workers are upbeat, knowledgeable and efficient. Cool concept of having what appeared to be and informed it's gravy transformed into scrambled eggs, corn with melted cheese, elbow macaroni with cheese cook in their own compartments on the grill. We appreciate water carafe and mini metal cups that keeps water colder for a longer length of time. No ice served. We didn't need. Please inquire with workers. Food: Stay away from pork belly. Majority of the slices contains 3/4 fat and 1/4 pork. Garlic shrimp automatically comes with rice. Highly recommend kalbi which is tender to chew after cooking on the grill. Fried chicken crispy on outside and moist on the inside. Tasted yummy plain and with dipping sauce. Seaweed soup was tasty. Complimentary hot tea served upon request. Highly recommend making res via Open Table app. You will receive an email, check in with front staff, then a text to confirm when your table is ready. Long line of customers standing outside. Turn on street smarts while in the vicinity.

Yelp
We've been to Sura before and really enjoyed it, which is why this experience was such a letdown. We came in with a group and were seated without any mention of the kitchen closing soon. We were only allowed three plates of meat per round, and after just our second round, they told us the kitchen was closing and they were taking their final call for meat--and we hadn't even been there for 45 minutes. This is supposed to be an All-You-Can-Eat restaurant, but we barely had a chance to eat before being rushed to place our last order. With five people at the table, this just didn't feel right. If a restaurant chooses to seat a party, they should allow guests to enjoy the full dining time and keep the kitchen open accordingly. To make things worse, right after we received our final plates, they blasted the music so loud we couldn't even talk to each other. It felt like a clear message that they wanted everyone out, and the other tables being pushed out were clearly just as irritated as we were. We've had good experiences at Sura in the past and still think it's a great place. We're sharing this because we hope the owners read this and consider adjusting the policy at the end of the night. If this wasn't a policy but a decision made by the staff, we hope management will follow up with them. We'd love to keep coming back--but not if this becomes the norm.

Yelp
The food was just okay. Not a lot of meats to choose from and the banchan was very limited. I think they gave us pickles and soybeans. The steak was grisly. They provide scissors that don't cut anything really so they were useless. Don't order the bibimbap options unless you want a big bowl of rice with a few pieces of the item you order on top of it. We ordered the garlic shrimp, which was a big bowl of rice with eight pieces of bay shrimp. The kimchi was not good. Another weird thing was that they had already put corn and cheese in the little trays surrounding the main grill. It was at all the tables, even though nobody was in the restaurant at the tables. It does not seem very hygienic to have food sitting out at tables where anybody can walk past and touch it or cough in it. Needless to say, I did not eat it because I don't know how long it had been sitting there before we got there. I don't think the waiter eats this type of food because he also didn't know how to make the sesame oil and salt mixture. He put some salt in a bowl and about 1/4 cup of oil on top of it. The sesame oil tasted more like plain oil rather than sesame oil. He put so much oil in the bowl that if you dipped your meat in it, all you got was oily meat. They also do not explain to folks who go there what each sauce is used for. The music was so loud in the restaurant that if they did try to explain it, I highly doubt that I would've been able to hear any of it. I could hear the waiter's voice, but could not understand what he was saying half the time because the music was too loud. The music did not enhance the ambience. It was just annoying. Generally, the food was mediocre at best, the selection was very limited, and the service was slow. Overall, I do not recommend going here. There are so many other places that are better than this one.

Yelp
I've always been a fan of Korean BBQ, but it's been years since we have gone. This was a neat place about a 15 minute walk from the Hale Koa in Waikiki. We made a reservation for 6 at 6:00pm, got there about 30 minutes early and they sat us right away. The setup of the tables was very cool, each table had their own vent, reminded me of something from a steam punk art style. Instantly the service began. We had food and drinks immediately, and shortly after we ordered the food was coming out. Our favorite was the beef bulgogi and egg side. The tofu kimchi was also very good. Overall this was a good experience and we would return for sure.

Yelp
Service was good Food was below mid The bibimbap had absolutely no veggies in it The KFC was dry and not seasoned The french fries weren't cooked all the way through This was the first ayce kbbq joint that was just so underwhelming The meats were really fatty No rice on the side No banchan others than kimchi Very disappointing
google avatar

Jared N.

Yelp
The food is excellent, the service is great. Parking needs work-but we went early and the valets didn't show up! The cheese corn is awesome-but I'm not supposed to eat that. Kalbi and bulgoghi tasty! Awesome for AYCE gig!

Yelp
My coworkers and I come here almost every Sunday late night after our shift. I wish they had beef tongue as an option but we always leave full and happy! Service can be hit or miss due to how busy it can get. But as long as you order everything right off the bat you'll usually get everything quickly. This place has enough graffiti in it to be considered illegible at some point. It reminds me of a grungy dive bar but in a good way. It's our favorite way to decompress after a long week in the industry.

Yelp
All you can eat for $30- can't beat that! They even have bibim-bab as a choice specialty from the menu. One can choose 3 from the meat section at a time with 3 from the the specialties menu. It's so worth the price! My favorites were : thinly sliced brisket, steak and thick pork belly. From the specialties, I adored that they have bibim-bab, but my favorites were: seafood tofu soup, pickled jalepeno and kimchee (banchan dishes). They even have egg already on the side of the bbq grill, mac 'n' cheese & corn. Service was on point. One has to ask for the extra sauces if you want under the specialties category. If you have a birthday celebration, they get the whole crew out with a dessert, turn the lights off and sing a long a pop happy birthday music in the background. Hipster decor, fun vibes and great dining for the last day of Hawaii and any occasion.

Yelp
I used to be such a big fan of this place when they first opened but sadly it seems like the meat declined in quality; however the service was really good. Servers were attentive and nice. The restaurant itself was huge and gives plenty of space to diners. Parking is limited!

Yelp
Where do I start.... This place has gone downhill. I used to really enjoy coming here. The meats were pretty good quality, the other foods like soups and fried rice were decent, their service was also super fast and amazing. But the more and more I come back to this place, everything has become mediocre. Their gas grill wasn't working properly for us during our last visit a couple weeks ago, so it took a long time to cook our meats. Their meat quality and foods have become mediocre at best, as well. I have no intention of coming back, to be honest. Sad because I truly enjoyed coming here.

Yelp
This is not the spot anymore. The large menu of meats straight up gone and only a few items remain. Our waiter was nice but constantly walked by our table without asking if we needed anything till the very end, was a good 10-15 minutes after our first round arrived before we had to go out of our way to get their attention to order more stuff. id recommend the other alternatives out there instead. Kind of disappointing because this place was easily a 4-5 star not too long ago

Yelp
It's cheap at $26/person during lunch for AYCE but there's minimal side dishes and the meat quality is below average. The meat was super fatty with big chunks of fat so I had to trim with the scissors. The steak and the thin sliced brisket were the best options for leaner cuts. The bulgolgi was not that great and it was kinda tough. I also hated the grill. The poor design led to so much splattering. The tongs are too short so you will get constantly burned by the grease. Stuff extra napkins into the side of the grill to prevent splatter. All in all it was not an enjoyable dining experience and we wished we took our business elsewhere.

Yelp
Sura is a must-try KBBQ restaurant! My partner and I went on a Saturday around 1:30 pm and there was luckily no wait. Service was quick and I loved the vibes of the interior. The brisket and corn cheese were my favorites! Parking is kind of tricky so I recommend parking a bit further and just walking. It definitely builds up your appetite!

Yelp
Sura is a great late night kbbq spot. They are open very late so perfect if you are coming from an event. Keep in mind your party size because they do have 18% forced gratuity for larger parties. Depending on the time and amount of people, the atmosphere can be pretty loud. Twice I've gone and it's someone's birthday and they bring out pots and pans and start banging on it. Also to note, their grill is raised up and comes with cheese and macaroni. Once you get cooking, the juices from the meat drip into the oil from the cheese and start splashing everywhere. And since the grill is raised above the table it is almost inevitable that you will get some hot oil splashes. For the service, they often forget some items that you order and you will have to remind them to bring things out. Though usually they at least get the meat orders right. But you will have to flag them down often. The food selection is great, the side orders that are included in the ayce are nice, but are a bit lacking. For example, the garlic shrimp bimbimbap is just white rice with small shrimp served with garlic butter.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite KBBQ place, but its sad how bad their service and quality is now days. My friends and i came in around 8:30ish on saturday night. They quoted a 15 minute wait, but we ended up waiting for closer to an hour. Maybe people had reservations, so that is probably why we kept getting skipped?! There were so many empty tables and this place is normally much busier. When we finally got seated, no one came over to greet us for another 15 minutes. When he finally came over, he was friendly. However, the service was extremely slow. We ordered meats, banchan, sauces, and asked for water. The meats came out maybe 5 mins later, but everything else took at least 20 mins. We also never got one of the banchan we ordered at any point in the night. We also kept asking for more water, but it never came. I think the food we ordered was going to the table next to us. We only got one round the entire hour despite wanting more food. We rang the button on the wall a few times and it would chime, but no one would ever come. There was a point in the night where the server (or any employee) was just missing from the entire area for at least 20 mins. By the time we got the check, not because we were full, but because we were just over the entire experience, the table next to us just started to serve themselves water, steamed egg, and canned sodas from the fridge. We were waiting a very long time for the check and my card back. Easy to say this was probably my worst experience in a while.

Yelp
the meat and food itself aren't bad, but the overall experience is disappointing. the service is lacking, the time limit feels rushed, and the satisfaction just isn't there. they don't offer any real side dishes, expecting you to eat just meat, which makes the meal feel incomplete. the few side dishes they claim to have are overly oily and unappetizing, making them more of a burden than a complement to the meal. on top of that, the grill gets burnt quickly, and even if you ask for a replacement, they won't change it often. this makes the meat cook unevenly and gives everything a burnt, unpleasant taste. absolutely do not recommend this place for big groups. they don't serve large portions, and even if you take up two tables with two grills, one grill will end up empty. they only offer three portions per round, which is nowhere near enough to keep up with a bigger party's appetite. overall, it's not worth the price, time, or frustration.

Yelp
My favorite place to get kbbq! AYCE is $29.95 for dinner (5p-10:30p), and $27.95 for happy hour (10:30p-1:30a). I always order the pork belly, brisket and marinated chicken. The banchan is also exceptional! Love that they have corn cheese, Mac and cheese, and egg cooking around the grill. All of them are so tasty. I like to also order the house salad to go with the meat and the pickled jalapeños are so good and spicy! The seafood and kimchi tofu are a must have for soup. Instead of ordering the side of rice, we order the beef bulgogi bibimbap. This place can get busy so either go on the waitlist, make a reservation, or go early. The service is attentive every time we want to order or change the grill. They also close at 2am for those late night cravings!

Yelp
This is an all you can eat only restsurant and the price per person is worth it, with great service to match. The portion sizes are pretty big and the quality of the meat is pretty good! I especially appreciate the suction for the smoke, so although everyone is cooking, the restaurant isn't filled with smoke! The interior is nice as well, bring a sharpie so you can write on the walls!!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came in on a Friday night around 8:45pm. We were sat pretty quickly, and they were fairly busy. One of our main gripes was the meat. It was low quality, and had very limited options. The only banchan (side dishes) were pickled cucumber, kimchi, and edamame. In California we usually get kimchi, pickled cucumber, radish paper, bean sprouts, rice paper, and some other stuff varying on the place. We also noticed that the grill only worked on one half, so we asked about it and the waitress said a lot of the grills are like that. As a result, half of our food was getting burnt while the other half was still raw. I appreciate the waitress being transparent about that cause it did make us feel a little better. The vent wasn't working, and as the residue on the grill started burning, the smoke went directly into our eyes. On top of that, there's no cover on the bottom part of the grill under the table, and we kept accidentally burning our knees on it. Our waitress was great, though a lot of the other reviews were complaining about the service. She forgot the ssamjang and kimchi stew that we ordered, but after we asked again, she brought it right out. She was on top of all of the stuff we ordered, and honestly we have nothing to complain about when it comes to the service. The one thing that was great was the ambiance. The music was great, as they mostly played NewJeans, G-Idle, Blackpink, Le Sserrafim and IVE. It was nice being in there even though we weren't enjoying the food. We're from California and we're absolute fiends for Korean bbq, so we were disappointed while eating because this place had such good reviews. As we were eating, I took a second to look back at the reviews, and it just seems like this place has lost its touch over time. A lot of people from California were saying how great it was 5-8 years ago. Overall, I'm disappointed with the food and the issues we had with the grill. BUT everything else was great. The service and ambiance were amazing. I feel like if they changed up their menu it would be such a great place. The photos I attached: - The grill only working on one side - The meat being only cooked on one half of the grill - Burnt grill
