My boyfriend and I had dinner for the first time here, and the food was awesome. I ordered the Tofu Seafood Soup with medium spiciness level, and it was packed with so much flavor. One thing I love about soups is their broth, and this soup had an amazing broth. The our waiter was kind, attentive, and our food came out rather quickly. The interior is cozy and very welcoming. I definitely recommend coming here and I would love to come back.

Google
Such good Korean food. The food was just- so good. The authenticity was on point, and the flavors were great. Ive been to Korea and my dining partner lived there- we were both impressed with the food. They were very busy, and only one server who was so courteous and as efficient as possible- if they had one more server, it would be 5 across the board. There was only one person for the entire restaurant- she was awesome, but she is only one woman. I forgot to take timely photos- but here is our mostly devoured delicious meal. Fried dumplings, Korean short ribs, cold spicy noodle, kimchi assorted, and beef bulgogi. We did not eat hotpot but saw some others receive theirs and it looked great.

Google
An earnest and family-owned Korean restaurant serving classic dishes. I got their combo of Bulgolgi and Tofu Soup. Plenty of food and great paired up with the banhchan side dishes. All around good flavor and cooked well! The soup may be a bit spicy but very flavorful. My friend got some Bimbimbap and Dumplings which were delicious as well. Definitely try it out! Service was super friendly and helpful and ambiance was nice and clean!

Google
Back in NYC this would just be another Korean spot. But finding this in Temecula is a miracle! We ordered everything from galbi to bibimbap to jap chae to ramen to the tofu soon. Everything was delicious and authentic as it should be. I’m so happy we have this in our area!!!!

Google
Came here to try Korean food after finding google and yelp reviews. I don’t recommend! Came here on Saturday around 11:30 right after they opened and when we walked in it smell so bad like sewer … not sure if they were having a sewer issues but smelled really bad, but decide to give it a try. We ordered yukgajang- it was ok nothing special, soon tofu combo with fish - decent, and tofu kimchee bokgum with pork- don’t get it! It was sooo oily with oil and the pork was not cooked enough… it didn’t look like the picture from any of the reviews. However the service was good, but I will not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a good Korean food near Temecula.

Google
First time here. Spent quite a bit of time reading reviews to figure out what to get. Ended up with E8 Stir Fried Pork Belly with tofu and Kimchi, fried dumplings, and C2 bulgogi and Soon Tofu (which is a smaller portion of the first and second columns, bulgogi and kimchi soup). They came with extra small sides of kimchi, pickled cucumber, sprouts and we each got rice. Bonus was the Kloud beer. Service was slow, probably because it's just the 2 owners. Waited a while to get seated and at that time there were open tables. Prices are about $28 for entrees. If you aren't in a rush and not starving and want great Korean food, go check it out! Spent 1hr 45min here.

Google
So, I wanted to eat somewhere in town I'd never been before and found SURA online with a 4.8☆ with 79 reviews. Instantly I was intrigued because that basically means this place is almost a perfect 5☆ with a decently substantial amount of reviews. I can say with absolute certainty that all the high reviews are valid. This place killed it. We ordered the BBQ Korean Chicken, Dumplings and the Clam, Shrimp, Mussal Soon Tofu and it was all delicious. I love the massive, multi-dish sides that come with everything which add additional flavor to everything you're eating. Highly, highly recommend this establishment!

Google
What we ordered. A lunch combo C2, a Bulgogi + Soon Tofu, a regular entree E2 Bulgogi, and Japchae and a free sides dish of steamed rice, kimchi, potato, cucumber, bean sprouts, and fish cake. Good Korean food.

Yelp
A cute Korean restaurant in an area that you are not ganna find many spots in, Sura definitely stood out as a place to check out for when I am craving Asian food. I actually tried to come one time before, but wanted to mention that the kitchen closes around 40 minutes prior to their official close time, so if you go anytime after that, they will kindly decline your patronage. On our second attempt, we were able to show up around an hour before closing and was able to be seated and gotten our orders from in around ~15 minutes. Our orders came out together after another 15 minutes so was not as bad service as many other people mentioned, but we were the last two parties in the restaurant so that maybe played a part. I personally ordered their beef soondobu and bibimbap in a stonepot set. My favorite had to be the soondobu. I got the mild which was just a small enough kick to enjoy without feeling too spicy, and felt the soup broth had a nice deep flavor to it without feeling too watered down. A very clear highlight of the meal. The bibimbap was a bit on the less saltier side for my liking (had to add a good chunk of gochujang) as well as not as crispy as I would like being in a stonepot, but otherwise the ingredients were nice and fresh and was pretty filling. Overall, a nice place to check out in Temecula if you are craving Korean food :)

Yelp
A fantastic location. Came in one hour before closing, the service was faster than most of the bad reviews have claimed. All of the food was hot, and on time. Their seats were by far the most comfortable booths I've ever sat in. I will be coming back to this location in the very near future.

Yelp
What a cute mom and pop korean restaurant. Very cozy spot with table service. Fresh Banchan delivered with entree. Friendly staff. Gimbap only served during lunch. Many meat and veggie options, combos available if you're undecided. Order fried sole and soon dubu soup combo, bibimbap and japchae. Rice served with every entree order.

Yelp
Every now and again I want some good kalbi. There's something about the way it's cut and marinated that makes this my go-to Korean craving. At Sura, they sure had some damn delicious kalbi. I especially like the particular marinade they had this time. That being said, the bulgogi was a little lackluster and lacked much flavor, especially in comparison to its short rib big brother. It was fine, but I remarked at dinner that maybe we should've just gotten two kalbi orders. I also thought the wait for service was kind of surprising. From the time it took to seat us, to getting our order taken, to asking for refills, and to finally asking for the bill--getting someone to come to the table was just slow. It was as slow as any restaurant ever be. As someone who asks for refills on something at least two or three times a meal, this is unacceptable. If it's a matter of coverage, hire one or two more people. If it's a matter of bad attitude, that needs to be addressed in training. I hate when the food is pretty good, but the service turns out to be pretty bad. The place is nice-looking and the food is good, but I don't know if I'd ever want to come back if every ask is a struggle to get someone to fulfill it.

Yelp
Great food & great service, what more can you ask for? We were craving some soup & wanted Asian food & stumbled across this business. I want to acknowledge how accommodating this small mom & pop restaurant was for our big party that came in (20+ people post wedding weekend). They were champs at handling our big party & making sure all our orders were taken, our banchans were refilled, etc. I ordered the kimchi tofu soup, spicy level. To be honest, it is not that spicy, not as spicy as BCD would make it to give you an idea. Regardless, the soup was flavorful & decent amount of meat was given. The tofu soup comes with a bowl of rice. My partner ordered a beef tofu soup medium spice & also enjoyed his meal. I am impressed with how big the menu is. Everyone ordered different meals, from bibimbap to seollongtang & it all looked / smelled good!

Yelp
Had dinner here at Sura Saturday night after seeing the restaurant a while ago. Wasn't too busy, got seated right away. Inside is nice and roomy, clean. Located in a shopping plaza across a newer hotel. Lots of parking. Menu is paper with photos, very easy to find what you wanna order. They offer a great selection of alcohol, I tried the Soju and it was really tasty. Owners very nice and attentive to everyone. Food didn't take too long to come out, I like how you get a little bit at a time. The banchan is so good, esp the potatoes. They offered to refill and bring us more, which we accepted, of course! We tried several dishes that were all good, portion sizes were good. Kids liked the food too. Everything fresh, delicious and hot when it came out. The tofu soup is a standout dish, the seafood combo flavors and the broth were so comforting and really hit the spot.

Yelp
First time here. Wasn't too busy when we arrived for an early dinner. The variety of the menu was pretty good. Pricing is on the costly side, but I understand the current state with inflation and all. Service was pretty decent. Not too friendly but nothing to deterring. The restaurant was quiet. No music... I think music will add to the ambiance. Restaurant was clean. Food items were good- not too spicy or salty. Bossam was good, except they don't give you too much napa cabbage with the dish. Overall, pretty good Korean restaurant for the area.

Yelp
If looking for really good Korean BBQ, here it is! It's so great to find a really good Korean food restaurant right here in Temecula! My craving for Kim Chee and Soon tofu soup has been satisfied. Absolutely delicious. Me throughout the meal: yum, mmm so good, slurp, yum, etc. First time here I was able to talk husband into going here to eat, after sort of begging. We shared a combo of BBQ chicken and soon tofu soup, which came with the usual sides of Kim Chee, other pickled veggies, fish cake and potatoes. No left overs and we were both so full. It was all delicious! Second time here, I told husband no sharing, I want my own meal (lol). I got bulgogi beef combo which comes with Soon Tofu soup (my preference is with mushrooms). Husband ordered bibimbap. Okay, it was way too much food for me. That's okay, now I have left overs for lunch. Pairing the crunchiness of the pickled veggies with the marinated BBQ proteins and rice is a perfect match! And the Soon tofu soup was filled with delicious flavor and brings back memories of eating at a favorite place in Irvine. They cook the meat in the kitchen so no smoky fumes to deal with in dining area. Food comes out hot and perfectly prepared. Love this place!

Yelp
We enjoyed our visit to Sura. The chicken sounded good. It was advertised as very spicy hot. We asked if it could be toned down. They were not sure so they offered teriyaki chicken instead. We went with that. Food was good. Loved all the little plates of veggies. My diet is pretty strick so we really didn't get to taste the best part of the Korean menu. Nice and friendly staff. Very clean and good lighting.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE, we are regulars they have all my favorite except a steamed eggbut everything on the menu is delicious. Sura is my go to spot when I do t feel like driving g down to Kearney Mesa for great service, flavorful dishes and a nice clean and cozy place to fill our bellies.

Yelp
In December 2024, we stopped by to check out Sura Korean Restaurant. We love this family-owned place. Although it may not be too fancy, it gives a cozy and humble atmosphere for dining in. The servers were helpful and welcoming. We ordered Bulgogi and Bibimbap to go. The dishes were delicious, especially when the special sauce was added. Do not forget to ask for the fish cakes and spicy kimchi to complete the meal. I highly recommend Sura for those who crave Korean cuisine.
google avatar

Yelp
A feast for the palate and for the eyes. Everything was delicious and we four left with full bellies and a little something to go. We ate family style with everyone trying a little bit of everything. It was a first time for our friends, who were not sure what to order. They were hooked after the first bite and raved about how much they enjoyed it. Yes our bellies were full but we did not feel stuffed. The service was amazing with our food being delivered promptly. We will be back :)

Yelp
We had the bossam and it was absolutely delicious. Ive had a lot of bossam at different restaurants but my husband I agreed that this was the best one yet. It was so flavorful and full of umami. Easily feeds 2-3 people. It comes with a side of rice as well. Service was great, our server was super attentive and really sweet. Truly an authentic Korean restaurant. Definitely will be coming back again!

Yelp
This place was super good! I really liked it. I ordered E2 entree sliced beef rib eye. It came with sides and rice and it was super delicious. We sat down pretty quickly but got packed right after. Service was good and it wasn't super noisy, so it was easy to have conversations with each other. I would come back again if I was in the area.

Yelp
Passing through the area we stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. The food was good, overall. We had grilled mackerel and spicy pork. The grilled mackerel was delicious. The spicy pork had good flavor but was a little greasy. The side dishes, especially kimchi and spicy cucumbers were very tasty. Good service

Yelp
There aren't many spots in Temecula to get authentic Korean food, so this restaurant is definitely one of my go-to's when I'm craving some soondubu jigae. However, it is on the pricier side when I compare to the prices in Koreatown, LA. The older couple that runs the restaurant is always really sweet to me though, so it doesn't bother me too much. Mostly everything I've ordered here has been great. I usually order either the bibimbap or the soondubu and the portion size is good. The last time I went, it was a very hot day so I ordered the naengmyun instead. It was delicious, only complaint was for $18 I would have appreciated if it included more meat. It only had one small sliver of beef on top, and I was still somewhat hungry afterwards. Other than that, it was very delicious and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Would recommend this spot if you are craving authentic Korean food and don't mind paying a little more.

Yelp
The best Galbi I've had. My wife is Korean and we were pleased to discover we had such a fantastic Korean restaurant in Temecula. The meat was a quality cut, very tender, not too sweet and cooked perfectly. The banchan was delicious. Service was wonderful and Sophia was great. You have to taste it to believe it!

Yelp
Such a yummy mom and pop place! Very sweet owners that serve very homemade style authentic dishes.

Yelp
Sura Korean Food is a great option if you want authentic Korean food and a pleasant atmosphere. I went with a group of 16 people, which is not easy to accommodate, however the staff and owners took us in with smiling faces. I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi with a beef and tofu soup. Others ordered Ramen, pork belly, and ribs, with no complaints. We did have one order come incorrect, however they corrected it swiftly and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall their establishment was a wonderful find, and we greatly enjoyed our time eating here.

Yelp
Sura is hands down the best Korean restaurant in town. My boyfriend and I usually make the trip to Orange County when we're really craving Korean food, but I'm so glad we found Sura for the days we don't feel like driving out of town! We usually get the combo, and the bulgogi never disappoints. The soon tofu could be better, but it does the job when we're craving it. The banchan, though, is what keeps me coming back--I'm getting hungry just writing about it! The family here has always given us the best service, which makes the experience even better.

Bob C.

Yelp
Fix the sewer issue please. I will even donate to help fix it. But pleasee i love this place.

Josh N.

Yelp
Went to Sura with my whole family...5 adults & 3 kids. My daughter-in-law loves the tofu soup & japchae noodles. Son, like me, had stone pot bibimbap, our favorite! Everyone loved our selections, all were delivered at the same time, piping hot! Ban Chan side dishes were great! Spicy cucumbers, Kimchi, sweet seasoned potatoes! People working here are short on personality, but long on great flavorful dishes!
google avatar

Jamiel M.

Yelp
Bad bad bad experience!! Waited more than 30 min for our bossam which is worth $51.99 for a simple piece of pork and wraps not a single side was served also! We were so hungry waiting! So much for our first time here, will DEFINITELY not coming back! Update: we asked if we can have sides, still nothing. Its not even busy. And the people who was here after us got their food first?? How is this even fair. Weve been here for AN HOUR NOW

Yelp
This place was fire. We wanted Asian food since we were visiting Temecula and stumbled upon this mom and shop. For the area and size of this restaurant, they had a lot of options and variety for food! The meats were a bit fatty, but the flavors were there! The ladies working there were sweet and accommodating. It felt like walking into a typical Korean casual dining versus the rest of Temecula haha. Go for the combos so you can get to try everything!
google avatar

Yelp
What a fabulous, wonderful small town restaurant in the big Murrieta City a few miles from the famous Hot Springs! Anyone lucky enough to have a seat in this authentic little Korean restaurant that many of us heard about can really appreciate the food quality and the reasonable prices. The service is bit slow but the man and woman who served us are truly masterful with recommendations and knowledge of the most homemade traditional foods that we all grew up with. My favorite one was Dongtae Jigye. The Pollack Egg Stew. The spicy stew was fantastic. Tofu with Three Layered Pork screamed for Soju Pairing but decided against them due to the 51 minute drive back. However the delicious aroma and wonderful texture and deep savory taste of the thick iron pan sautéed Sam Gyup Sal are one and truly delightful secret taste that mere mortals could not appreciate. You must be Korean Foodie to understand what I am talking about! Mukbang friends- go forth with no hesitation. Life is too short!

Yelp
Sometimes it's nice eating some Korean food outside of sgv. Found this place on Yelp, def real mom and pop. The service like most Asian places has a lot to be desired.... The kalbi ribs were great Chapchae was decent Soon tofu was ok- we first ordered the seafood and it was rotten smelling and tasting. We asked to change to beef and it was much better The pork cutlet I would skip. Way too thin and dry. For Korean in Temecula it's a 4 star. If this was in la this would be a 2.5 to 3.
google avatar

Norman R.

Yelp
My first visit, and it resulted in a great local find! The food is amazing, prices are reasonable, and you couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy Korean food. Ordered the grilled fish combination, and the Bibemba combination. Each of the combos comes with your choice of soup, rice and two side dishes, such as kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and three other Korean relish type dishes. The food was prepared to perfection, and piping hot when it arrived. My reasoning behind the four stars is based on our arriving only minutes after they opened for the evening meal, and we were the second customer to arrive. We waited approximately 40 minutes for our food, when the waitress delivered two coca colas and apologized for the delay. Several patrons received their food prior to us, and in the end we actually waited almost an hour to dine. As previously stated; the food was delicious and we will return, but our initial visit was subpar.
google avatar

Yelp
Korean food anyone? If the answer is yes, then you have to visit this restaurant. Their traditional and authentic food deserves six stars. Well designed and straight forward menu lets you select various Korean dishes easily. You can choose individual dishes or combos which include main plus tofu soup. I would highly recommend their combos as you get to sample more for less $$. The food is well prepared and cooked. All dishes we tried were packed full of flavours. Nothing short of delicious. Their fried dumplings were ordered for starter were one of the best we tasted in a long time. Perfect amount of dough (nice and thin) and flavoursome filling. Bibimbap was my favourite. Fresh ingredients which paired well with all side dishes. The kimchi, awesome! Enough writing. Just come here and try their delicious food!

Yelp
YUM! I wished I lived closer because I would definitely be a regular here!!! Homey, delicious classics cooked to perfection!!! I also loved all the panchans here. Service was quick and efficient. We came pretty close to closing, but the owners were very patient and kind. - Yukgaejang: suuuuper delicious, mildly spicy bowl of leek and beef soup. I loved that this had glass noodles and came with some rice. - Rice cake and dumpling soup: hearty bone broth that nursed me back to life after a long day of drinking at wineries in Temecula! The rice cakes, dumplings, everything was *chefs kiss*. It comes with some pieces of beef for extra protein, which I appreciated. 100% would recommend for friends and fam to come here!!
google avatar

Vince L.

Yelp
Food is good Service is terrible. Had to ask three times for napkins We ordered the big pork bone soup. Ate maybe 20% of it and asked for to go containers The gentleman gave me one container and one bag. Was not big enough to pack it for sure Asked for to go container for rice. He gave a container. No bag I guess I should not have gotten the check before packing the food and tipped him 20 bucks for a soup, and a tofu soup.
google avatar

Serena Z.

Yelp
My husband and I frequent Sura for their tofu soup and stir-fried squid plate. The soon dubu isn't too spicy and all the banchans are delicious! The squid plate is large, enough for 2 or more people to share, and has a good level of heat to it. Parking is ample, service is polite.
google avatar

Chelsea B.

Yelp
How to order vegan soup: Mushroom soon tofu made with water base! Delicious!! Prompt & polite service. I came back 2 days in a row

Yelp
In town and was happy to see a Korean restaurant that wasn't "all you can eat". Decided to give it a try since I LOVE Korean food. It was just ok in my opinion. The smell (NOT the food, but like sewer/plumbing or uncleaned grease trap) was a big turn off. The bulgogi and banchan were good. The soon tofu wasn't nearly as good as other places I frequent in San Diego, Irvine, OC, etc unfortunately. Decent enough for Temecula, but I wouldn't go back :(
google avatar

NT T.

Yelp
If you're looking for a cozy, family-owned gem, this small restaurant is a must-visit! While the service can be a bit slow--since there are only three people running the show--it's well worth the wait. The food is fantastic, with perfectly marinated galbi and a tofu soup that's absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are perfect. Definitely a place I'd return to!
google avatar

Karen B.

Yelp
Sura sure fits the bill when I'm craving Soondubu or soft tofu soup. Love that they are a locally owned small mom and pop restaurant that serves freshly made food. The side dishes they serve with the meal are soooo tasty too. My faves are the fish cake and potato one. Best fish cake I've ever had and i love Korean food. Service is good. The banchan usually comes out closer to when your food comes out but I guess that's ok. This ensures I save room for the main event. Free refills on banchan. Water is served cold in a metal carafe. Yay! It's run by a small family and they are all friendly. The restaurant is clean. They have one of those big air purifiers too so the places doesn't get overwhelmed by food smells which I appreciate. The crowd here is usually pretty tame so I can enjoy eating my food without having to talk over the people next to me. Parking lot is probably one of my least favorite things about this plaza. If you have a lowered car beware. There are speed bumps and dips on the side of the plaza they are on so maybe keep that in mind.

Yelp
We were starving and craving Korean food and found Sura. We arrived at noon, during the week and it took about 8-10 mins to be seated. After we ordered, 35 mins had lapsed to receive our food. The staff apologized so be prepared to wait. When we finally received our order, we dove right in. No conversation and we didn't bother to take any pics. We chose the lunch specials - Galbi and Bulgogi with rice and 3 sides and japchae w/ bulgogi appetizer. The japchae was delicious and my family said it was almost as good as when I made it! The star of the meal was the Galbi, the short ribs were grilled perfectly and the cut was thick. Although the bulgogi was on point too. We'll definitely be returning. 매우 감사합니다

Yelp
Phenomenal experience! My husband and I went here yesterday. He got the spicy pork bulgogi combo with kimchi soup and i got the bibimbap combo with mushroom soup and we were NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! Flavors and portions were on point! Really appreciated the spice level too and enjoyed the rice wine + raspberry wine. Soooo good!!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
omgggg yesssss the short ribs have me feeling serendipity. i had such a good time here just chatting it up with my girl!!! ughhh take me back.

Yelp
Moving up from San Diego, there are limited options for Korean food in the area, but Sura was able to help fill the void for us. I would rate the food a solid 3.5-4 stars. We had the galbi, tteokguk (rice cake soup), mackerel combo with seafood soondubu, and japchae. I would order everything again except for the japchae which I felt was overcooked and too oily. My Korean mom said the food wasn't bad although she could make it better (which all Korean moms would say). The service was a 3. There were a few other parties there but I felt it took a while to get our water/drinks and banchan. It wasn't a big deal though since there was only 1 person waiting tables but I could tell that someone who got there well after us, but must have been a regular, got everything to their table within minutes. Overall I'd definitely return and look forward to trying more of the menu.

Yelp
Came in a Saturday evening to a full house! Luckily, my party of 5 was able to quickly snag a leaving table before the wait increased for the people behind us. I ordered the combo with bibimbap and tofu soup! Individually, both were very good and I liked how the rice was separate from the bibimbap so I could choose to mix it with bibimbap or my soup. If you don't know what to order, go with the tofu soup - so delicious! There was a variety of banchan that were all very delicious. Service was a bit slow but, given that there were only 2 servers in a full restaurants, I couldn't complain. They were still attentive and responsive to my table's requests. So happy to see more Korean options opening in the area - I would say this is the best we have in the Temecula area!
google avatar

Linda Y.

Yelp
If you are in Temecula and craving Korean food, you must consider sura as an option! I am very particular about my bossam and this place, definitely know that with the flavor! The seafood stew, compliments very well with the bossam! The service is amazing! And there's plenty of seating and parking!

Yelp
Fantastic meal. Absolutely delicious! Kimchi stew and all the sides, everything was super good! Restaurant was clean, crowded, and provided excellent service. Will be back!

Yelp
Great customer service, great prices & portions, food was delicious, didn't take long to get seated or get your food, ambiance was good. Everything was super calm and inviting!! Will definitely be returning to this location!!

Yelp
Our favorite korean spot. Recommend the combo meals that include the tofu soup. Mackerel and pork bulgogi for the win. Banchan on point. I like spicy food but beware if you go beyond medium. Korean spicy is no joke.

Yelp
Still no hot pot bibimbap, which is disappointing to say the least. We stood at the front waiting to be seated for 8 minutes with no one else waiting while they made us wait to buss one table, but the other side of the dining room had many open tables. The extra tall wall at the front checkin limits visibility so maybe add a bell to your door so you know when people come in? Food was just ok this time for the astronomical prices, the bulgogi was flavorless and my cold bibimbap was on a huge bed of greens with a bowl of rice on the side. I would give three stars, except the service is always great!

Yelp
Yum! Came around opening and surprised to see a few tables already taken. Took a little while to get greeted but no big deal. I ordered the Mushroom Tofu soup and my brother ordered Spicy Bulgogi and Kim chi tofu combo, which is a little cheaper at lunch compared to dinner. Everything tasted great! Seemed like good quality eats. It was a little pricy in my opinion about $18 for my tofu and $24 for the combo, although mine was a pretty hearty portion. I think the combo is the better option out of the two. Service was nice. It was very quiet in there so I think it would've been nice turning on some music or even the TV in there.
