What a great little diner. The atmosphere is fun and the ambience is great. I had the shrimp chimichurri salad, which was absolutely delicious. The sauce on the side was perfect and was quite tangy because of the chimichurri. The portion was wonderful. My kiddo had a pork slider, which was also delicious and huge. Quite filling. The service was friendly and familiar. And the food came out very quickly..

Had a breakfast meeting here this morning. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The SurSide Diner is definitely one of the best breakfast spots in downtown Palm Beach. I would highly recommend it here!

Fantastic Experience at SurfSide Diner!! SurfSide Diner is amazing! The staff is incredibly helpful, the owner is so kind and respectful to everyone, and the chef is sooo sooo nice. Family Friendly - A+++++ Wow! Great place for kids. I swear - we ordered and food to the table in less than 10min! All kinds of awesome options that accommodated all 3 kids. And then some good grown up food for the adults. Great attentive service. We are west coasters - so eating breakfast at 1pm was NOT a problem!! TV playing content for families (cat videos and top 10 dangerous stunts?). Huge drinks. Comfy seats. Awesome neighborhood.

SurfSide Diner offers fantastic food that doesn’t disappoint! The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. However, the service left something to be desired. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, and while they might have been busy, it felt like they could benefit from hiring more waitresses to keep up with demand. Additionally, a bit more friendliness and a few more smiles would go a long way in enhancing the dining experience. Overall, the food alone makes it worth a visit, but there’s room for improvement in the service department.

Great food and ample portion sizes. A bit pricey, but it is palm beach so what do you expect. I feel bad for the waitress who was working there. It looked like she was the only one on the clock and had to wait on all the tables by herself while there were a few employees behind the bar serving those customers. Anyways, that resulted in a really long wait to get our order in and an even longer one to get our check and receipt.

This diner is awful. As a local here I have to say; the only people who come here are tourists because of the very cheap prices. And obviously they are going to put good reviews just because they have an affordable bill at the end. The food was inedible and the egg was awful. I was hesitant to even eat my food along with my mother because of how odd it looked. We ended up with food poisoning. Safe to say we will NEVER be coming back here. Look at the honest reviews please not the ones with 5 or 4 stars you can clearly tell were left by tourists (if you know what I mean). I’d recommend just going to west palm for the same price and making the extra 5 minute commute then to come to a breakfast place like this.

If you want to eat yet not on Worth Ave, head for this enclave of normality. Fast and efficient you wait outside if busy for your number to be called. Once in you will be delighted with just want you expected from a Diner incl PB prices. Hey you know that would be the case before you came so don’t complain. Enjoy and tell your friends. Ps take away or to-go and sit near the Henry Flagler fountain !

Stopped in for lunch. It's "off season" in Palm Beach, but the diner was crowded. Still, we were immediately seated, Food was predictably excellent accompanied by a deliciously thick chocolate shake. My friend's shrimp salad was fresh and hearty. My turkey club was stacked up with proteins and greens on fabulous bread. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. My go-to lunch fav in Palm Beach. REMEMBER - Kitchen closes at 2:45pm!!! 5 Star recommendation.

Best breakfast in Palm beach! We went nearly everyday. I even bought two mugs to bring home. The waitresses are so friendly and helpful. Loved the pancakes and coffee!

Greeted as I walked through the door and seated immediately. Not many visitors this morning but it is supposed to rain all day in the sunshine State, not exactly beach weather. The place is retro model and plays great music from the golden era....70s and 80s. Table, booth and bar seats are available. Order was taken immediately and the the food was out in under 10 minutes!! Waitress was very friendly and pleasant. Place was very clean and the food was delicious. Only thing preventing a 5-star is you pay for everything. Omelet ingredients to substitute muffin for toast. But they do have Heinz ketchup! Overall good experience and would certainly visit again if in the area. Chances are slim because if you are not a beach person or golfer, why visit WPB? Haha.

This is the best breakfast/brunch/lunch place! So cute and cozy on the inside; they have booths and counter tops! Very Tasty food too! The service is fast and always with a smile! Definitely will be returning!!!

Nice and charming place at first impression. Checkin and seating process a bit disorganized as they couldn't keep the wait list straight and food/shakes are just mediocre for the prices.

An absolute must if you're in Palm Beach! Yes an affordable diner on the Island! Delicious food, great service and comfortable friendly ambiance! Today I went in for their famous Coconut Cake to take home! Quick friendly service! Spotless and bright interior! The Coconut Cake did not disappoint! Light and fluffy and not too sweet! The cake is moist and delicious! I love coconut cake and this is definitely one of the best!!

We dined in on a busy Sunday afternoon for a brunch for party of 10 plus a child. The place was nice and staff was welcoming. Wait time was about 10 mins before we were seated. Food was served in 20 mins fresh made. We had omelette, French toast, pancakes and egg Benedict. The great service, nice ambience and plenty to choose from menu makes it a five star in my list of breakfast options in Palm beach area.

Check your credit card balances! Very underwhelming breakfast at Surfside. Eggs benedict was bland and cold. Service was miserable and we waited forever to pay after asking twice. Days later I notice the waitress had put 20% down while I clearly wrote 0.00 as I was dissatisfied. I spoke to the manager who didn't apologize she just refunded the 20%. In what world is it okay to just add your own tip and think you will get away with it. Disgusting business practice.

This is a terrific diner. Just like the old days. Great service, spotless restaurant, a menu with lots to choose from and delicious food. A friendly atmosphere with happy hard-working staff. We went for lunch but chose the breakfast menu instead. Large portions with sides. If you want to split your meal, for a slight surcharge they split the main course and give you double the sides. Very fair pricing, not too loud and a great counter to sit at too. We will be back. If you are in town, don't miss an opportunity for a great breakfast or lunch.

Very popular at lunch so has slight wait. Very nicely updated inside but retains the old world diner layout with the counter. Service was efficient and the food was quite good. Great breakfast or lunch spot in mid Palm Beach. Very good breakfast burrito or simple lunch plate of tuna , egg and chicken salad with some rye bread.

Great classic Florida diner atmosphere and food was amazing. Got the Mexican burrito and it was delicious. The waitress was really nice too and made sure we were helped. Eggs Benedict looked fantastic. Definitely wanna come again.

The left side of the restaurant gets five stars! This place is a little gem. The food is delicious, portions healthy and the prices are very modest for a restaurant in the heart of Palm Beach. We didn't use to come here too often, as there is one server who is gruff, all business and she's always working - for over a decade. We now figured out, if you sit on the left side of the restaurant, she is never your server - so that is how I get to five stars for the left side of the restaurant - where they always have someone eager and smiley to help you. My favorite is the cheddar, jalapeño omelette which comes with a nice little graze of arugula in a light, lemony dressing to make you feel healthy for your day. Their lunches are just as good - high quality ingredients, freshly made everything - it's just a nice, clean, bright place to be. If you see any bad reviews, look to see if this is their first time reviewing - there are a lot of jealous restaurants out there. Know that Surfside is an easy, reliable choice that will be twice or three times as kind to your wallet as anything fancy in this neighborhood.

Came here during a family vacation during a busy lunch rush. We ordered the vanilla milkshake, reuben sandwich, dan's sandwich + arugula salad, and french toast with strawberry which were all delicious. The diner was small and cute, however, the service was extremely slow and unsatisfactory. We asked for a water refill, and it took 20 minutes to get a refill. We asked for more napkins, and it took about 20 minutes to receive more napkins. After receiving the check, we waited 40 minutes with the card and could not get the servers' attention, so we ended up just leaving cash and exiting the restaurant. Overall, the food was delicious, but the service did not make the experience worth it.

We gathered on an early Saturday morning for a one-hour bike ride of northern Palm Beach Island. After a good workout, we chose to have breakfast at the Surfside Diner. The dinner had limited outdoor sidewalk seating, an all-day breakfast option and recently adjusted their hours of operation. Surfside dining room has an airy somewhat contemporary flair with indoor booths, tables, and counter seating. Since it was my first-time dining at this restaurant, I ask our waitress for menu favorite suggestions. There were many that she chose from omelets, French toast to burgers, eggs benedict, salads, and turkey club sandwiches. I chose the Palm Bleacher which was pouch eggs and smoke salmon on an English muffin. It was fabulous. Overall, I found this diner delightful, and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Great food and decent prices! We had the tuna melt and it was big enough to split! The french fries were crispy and hot. The waitress was awesome. Busy little place.

This is a great place that my wife and I stop into every couple of weeks! It isn't cheap, but it's on Palm Beach Island - The rent is probably crazy high. Omelette is great - Nice and fluffy. Nice servers and clean place. It fills up to have a wait pretty quickly, so my wife and I get here right as they open at 8:30. They have indoor and outdoor seating, bar (beer and wine), and serve lunch too! I'd highly recommend this spot!

A busy classic diner located in the heart of Palm Beach. Good food and good service. I had "Dan's Breakfast Sandwich," made from fried egg, avocado, grilled tomato, american cheese on toasted rye bread. Delicious! The clientele looks like a mixture of Palm Beach locals and tourists. There are about a dozen tables inside, counter seating and a few tables on the sidewalk out front.

The food was good, the service was not. She was busy on her phone. Quaint, nice diner. My daughter said the chocolate cake was the best she ever had. Each item on the menu is alacart. Our brunch was well over $50 for two, one being a child. So safely be prepared to get diner food for $30 plus per person (with parking). The cost did not yield the service. But hey its Palm Beach, I am sure the rent is atrocious. We could only eat half of what we ordered, as the portions were more then generous. I think it was a nice experience for my daughter to see the island. The locals seem nice, I like to say good morning to the Palm Beachers. It always throws them off, as they are used to entitled people that aren't piolet. Parking was $7+ an hour with walking and shopping, we there for 2 hours. Don't let the meter expire, the code enforcement will immediately ticket you.

went on Sunday did not have full party with me. They were parking 23 chairs available three tables and three booths. The host would not let me sit until my whole party was there. They arrived five minutes later. I suggest green pharmacy.

The food was very good. I'm mnot going to lie. But the service was awful. Our waiter sat and I had lunch with a friend. Did not check once. I and my girlfriend felt like they discriminated against us because we were not heterosexual. All I wanted to do was take my girlfriend out to a nice lunch

Fabulous lunch today. Best jalapeño ranch dressing I've EVER tasted. Love everything about this place: service, atmosphere and the menu! Check it out now, as once the season rolls around, it's typically a long wait.

What a well run diner this is. Everyone was friendly including our very nice waitress Amelia. My friend and I ordered a couple of burgers. I wanted mine medium rare and my buddy medium well. The burgers were cooked perfectly. We both had a side of coleslaw and is was spot on. Although the diner was busy we never felt rushed. For Palm Beach the prices were very reasonable. The only issue is finding parking probably because I do not come to this area very often.

Fast, hot, crunchy, and good portion sizes. Great smiling service. There is no diner like this out on Palm Beach. Its a decent walk from the beach through a neighborhood, but it was well worth it. The grouper sandwich was perfect.

In the heart of Palm Beach, this upscale diner delivers a fantastic breakfast. I had an omelette that came with an arugula salad with one of the best balsamic vinaigrette dressings I've ever had. All the ingredients are fresh. The eggs are organic. And the staff couldn't be any nicer and attentive. Parking out front is free for one hour.

Cute place with great service. Guacamole was wonderful with my wrap. My daughter loved her french toast and my son finished his tenders.

This place is filthy! The hostess sent us to a table with a dying fly on its back. We informed her and it almost seemed like she had an attitude about us not wanting to have lunch with the fly. We should have just left but we sat down. Only to be served in dirty mug. The entire mug is dirty. Ok hi eats like this?? No thanks. After this we definitely left. Never again. Ewwww

I absolutely loved this place! It's a traditional diner with fresh and super tasty food! Location is phenomenal too. The egg whites we ordered were super fresh and tasty. I love the moderation in their portions. The potatoes were delish as well and the service was fantastic I highly recommend!

One of the only places in PB to get breakfast, and at a great price point. It's a traditional fast paced diner. Large menu- quick service. You can sit at the round bar, a table or outside. Be prepared to wait during season and even off season sometimes- it's a popular place! If you're looking for a great breakfast on island to start your day- this is the place.

We came in and were seated right away. It took a while for our server to get our order. Once she got our order, the drinks were brought out pretty quickly. We ordered the breakfast sandwich that came with house potatoes and the turkey club sandwich with an arugula salad. Both were delicious! I'd recommend this place for breakfast, yet the owners has to get more servers.

Utterly disappointed. After much hype I decided to check this place out. There was a wooden skewer embedded in the burger patty, which cut my mouth . When I mentioned it to the waitress nothing was done besides "sorry." Smh.

A pleasant surprise in a town with not a lot of options for a quick snack/meal/lunch. Salads were fresh and flavorful; chicken quesadillas were quite good as well. Service was friendly and efficient. Net, net: a cut above your typical diner/luncheonette.

I went to this spot for a healthy breakfast meal. I ordered the "power start" and replaced the chicken breast with chicken sausage. I also swapped out the mushrooms for jalapeños. I would've preferred if the eggs weren't so runny/watery. I also got a side of home fries that were quite tasty. The service was nice as well.

Surfside Diner had been bookmarked for a while, but wasn't sure how the parking situation was going to be in downtown Palm Beach (the Island, NOT West Palm in case you think the latter is what I meant). Fortunately, there were more than a couple of spaces available on South County Road, not even a block from the location. Word to the wise, I think the limit on these spots is an hour. Apart from that, Surfside Diner is a nice place to go enjoy breakfast and/or lunch for a reasonable price (per Palm Beach standards). Grabbing a spot at the counter, I ordered an omelette with chicken sausage, jalapenos, American cheese, with an arugula salad and rye toast. All of which were delicious and hit the spot. If you're looking to take a gander around downtown Palm Beach, and want a good spot to get breakfast, where the service is expedient, Surfside is where you, especially, if you're planning on hitting the beach thereafter.

What a cool little breakfast spot. Nothing fancy but pretty much what you expect from a breakfast diner. We sat at the "bar" seating in the middle and enjoyed the food and people watching. Very approachable place in Palm Beach. Will be back!
