Surly Mermaid Food Truck

The surly mermaid food truck came to our society for Tuesday evening. We took fish and chips, shrimp po boy and Veggie Muffuletta for takeout. The food was amazing and it was one of the best foods from the food truck. We loved each and every food we tried. Whenever you see the surly mermaid food truck do try them as they make fresh and finger licking food.

Spectacular food! Very fresh and the presentation was lovely. I had the Lobster Roll. It rocked. The donuts are a must!

First time I had the pork sandwich and this time I got the cod. Big enough to share with my kiddo and we got the donuts for dessert.

Don’t even know where to start.... I will drive out of my way and seek out this food truck for a Pork Stack. Best sandwich I’ve ever had, hands down. It’s packed with flavor - down to the perfectly seasoned pork and then super fresh, delicious roll that it’s served on. While the homemade chips are delicious, get the Duchess fries. You won’t regret it. They are always perfectly cooked and seasoned and are a harmonious blend of regular and sweet potato. Chef Steve is always friendly and ensures you’re completely happy with the meal he’s served each and every time. The donuts are a fluffy cloud of goodness and the Unicorn Horn is pretty great. There really is not a menu item that I haven’t tried and loved.

Ate their food for the first time last Friday. The pork sandwich is the BEST pulled pork sandwich I have ever had!! (And I love pork sandwiches) My husband had the fish and chips which was also delicious, but he still tried to take some of my pork sandwich too cause that damn sandwich is so freakin good!! Met one of the owners, he is a really good guy and takes pride in his food. Looking forward to trying the Cuban he makes! Keep up the great work guys 🌞🌞😎😎

Really don’t think this truck gets enough credit. I ate my food too fast to get a photo, but otherwise you’d see the presentation was great, carefully prepared. They’re consistent, they give out menus at their venues, and hand deliver the food when possible. The fresh baked rolls on the truck which accompany the Shrimp Po’ boys, had to be one of the highlights of this menu. Tried the buffalo chicken fries tonight for the first time, chicken was well seasoned, the fries are always great - c’mon crinkle cuts are always the move - and the touch of fresh chives really put it over the top. I like this truck. I think it likes me back.

Love this food truck! The Pork stack is tender, flavorful, and huge! Homemade chips=super yum. Still hoping to try the Unicorn Horn because I’m always too full after great entrees.
