Surry Hills - Review - Little River - Miami - The Infatuation

"Surry Hills is an Australian coffee shop by way of Argentina in Little River, though it doesn’t feel distinctly informed by any of those places. It will, however, feel familiar to anyone who’s ever ducked into a vaguely trendy coffee shop in another country while hunting for wifi. That strong connectivity is the main reason to prioritize Surry Hills, as this is one of the better cafes for getting work done. There are also plenty of seats ideal for solo diners, and servers who won’t shame you with eye contact for staying too long. The coffee is fine, and the brunch menu’s usual suspects (sandwiches, toasts, vaguely healthy bowls) get the job done as long as you don’t think too hard about how much you paid for that tuna melt with unmelted american cheese." - Ryan Pfeffer

First visit here and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, service and food. Met the owner, Francisco and had a nice convo on the other locations in Argentina and Spain. The lavender cappuccino was perfect. The tuna melt was very good! The turkey croissant with lime was scrumptious. Looking forward to our next visit. 2nd Visit: enjoyed a lavender/vanilla cappuccino and the egg/sausage sandwich. Both excellent!

I found this little spot while doing patient visits in the area. I had 30 minutes and wanted to grab coffee from a smaller business. Everything about this place is just right. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. I ordered their coldbrew on the rocks as I needed to experience orange zest and nutmeg in coffee. I also asked about their quick GF options and they guided me towards the fritatta! Both options were worth ordering. The cold foam on the coldbrew is thick, fluffy and rich with a hint of sweetness. The scent of the orange zest and nutmeg as you sip somehow sweetens the coffee (even though there is no sweetener). The cold brew itself was smoothe and rich. Do NOT drink this from a straw, you have to sip from the cup to get the perfect balance from the nutmeg/zest, the coldfoam snd coffee. I promise you, you will thank me later! Now, onto the fritatta: she's a thicc girl. Wholesome, savory and well balanced. I couldn't have asked for a better 'on the go' breakfast option. If you have gluten allergies, this is your friend! All in all, HIGHLY recommend.

So excited to try this place. My go to drink to judge a place is a mocha. I must say that it was really good. My companion had a flat white which is a way to judge the coffee on its own. The flat white was good but not great. We had the tuna melt because we were influenced by everyone else's pictures. It was good but not great. The bread was great but should have been more buttery. The tuna was good but the cheese was American "cheese" and the sandwich wasn't warm and melty as expected. The lighting was really dim and the stadium seat was broken. I can see what they were going for but it just didn't work for me. Try it if you are in town and judge for yourself.

We had a really nice brunch here. Everything tasted good. The poached eggs were actually normal semi soft / soft-boiled eggs which I didn’t mind because they were delicious anyways. I would happily come back.

Fantastic food & coffee ☕️ Miami needed a good Aussie cafe.. it was so good, I came twice in one week! All the toasts.. avo, heirloom tomato & salmon dill are absolutely delicious. I love the cappuccino or magic with macadamia milk. 10/10

Excellence is in the details. As a local, this is one of my top 5 coffee spots in the Miami area. Everything is prepared with love and attention to detail. You can see it. You can taste it. This is my #1 go-to place for a hot matcha latte. They make it correctly and I can tell by the temperature of the water at which they prepare it. If you know matcha, you know this is critical for taste. The avo toast is not only aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, but the savory and sweet ingredients make it an impeccable avocado toast. The portion is perfect too. The baked goods also incredible. The staff is genuinely kind. You can tell they’re just good-hearted people. The place itself is quite pleasing to be in as everything from design to decor is well-thought out. If you have an eye for detail you will truly appreciate Surry Hills.

The best specialty coffee in Miami! What a good surprise to discover this place and it is definitely the best specialty coffee we ever had in Miami. The food was also amazing and the staff was very nice, giving good advices on the menu and taking the time to share experience with us. The space is also very cute. We really had a good time and we will be back for sure!

Tried a gluten-free, sugar-free cake at Surry Hills and loved it. As a diabetic, I really appreciate having options like this. Great service too — I’ll definitely be back!
