Can't go wrong with the AYCE, each roll is an absolute banger. Green Goblin is my new personal favorite. Visited this place many times, will return for quality of food and service for sure. Different folks enjoy different flavors and the menu makes sure to hit all the taste buds!The variety always seem to satisfy no matter what my mood is. 💯

We were in the Jurupa Valley and hit hungry and saw this AYCE Restaurant and decided to try it. There’s a waitlist but we got seated right away. They took our order quickly. Seems like a busy restaurant so that means their food must be good. A lot of locals come in even at 3:45 pm they are busy. We ordered our first round with just a sushi, tuna hand roll and all came in pretty quick they have about 7 sushi chefs and made our order fast. Our orders came in all together and it was overwhelmingly a lot.

Patricia was our server and she was incredible! Amazing service and the best sushi I’ve had. The atmosphere is busy but for good reason. The birthday celebration is so much fun too! 5 ⭐️all around.

I took off 1 star because the fresh eel was only 1 order per person in the AYCE. That is one of my favorites and to only have 2 pieces kind of bummed me out. Then I definitely took a star off because of the bathrooms. I walked in and on the changing table was a pile of wet napkins and the changing table had a puddle of water. An employee had just come out of the bathroom also. Then there was a lot of graffiti in their bathroom. Other than that the service was great even employee was kinda. The food was good, we got a classic crayfish roll and I enjoyed it. I would go to this place again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Wonderful experience! Our server Hailey was the sweetest and helped my mother with the QR code while I was away from the table. We tried a few rolls that our server recommended us, and all were delicious! My favorite was the “ex girlfriend” haha. Will definitely add this spot to our rotation!

The sushi is alright. Some rolls were better than others. The Caliente roll was really good. The seared tuna was good as well. Ordered a handroll, and it was sloppily made. They place so many toppings and sauce on the rolls that you can barely taste the fish. All you can eat for around $35, whole meal for two was $85. 15% mandatory tip for service that is a little mediocre. Was seated outside, and it was not the cleanest area. I understand that it is outside, but at least sweep and dust, maybe have someone wipe down the areas before their shift and before your patrons sit. I was asked to move out of a table, in case a bigger party came. Every table outside was empty, so I didn't understand why we needed to move. It was a bit cold, they might wanna invest in some heating lamps. Also, maybe not keep your to-go supplies cart right in the front near your patrons table. Looks tacky and unorganized. I think I might give it another try .. or maybe not. Others might like it.

We visited this place Easter Sunday and will definitely be returning! The service was so fast, they got our orders out within a few minutes.vThe all you can eat is definitely a good deal. Don't forget to try the green tea ice cream also, so good!

2023: Another year, another great experience. Lester welcomed us and explained everything really well. The peppered seared tuna was SO GOOD. The rest of the staff were amazing in getting our orders to us quickly and asking if we needed anything and refilling our cups. We didn't feel rushed and were treated well for the whole time. Bravo! Last year: Took my son for sushi and ordered online and picked up. smooth process and friendly staff. Food was Delicious! fresh and flavorful.

This place is amazing! Service is always fantastic and sushi is fresh and delicious. Patricia was such a sweet server, if you get her you're in great hands. Love the vibe of this place also, a really great place to have fun and have great food on a weekend!!

Went to Asahi sushi, on Sunday 7/13 . Are server was Lester, He was amazing, great customer service very outgoing and polite. We haven't been back and over a year or two because of the last server which was Cindy was very mean very rude to customers and to employees. We didn't want to come back because of her but we took a chance on Sunday and we're very pleased with Lester and the rest of the crew. We will be back. It takes a great helpful management who respects n let's there crew know there doing a great job u set an example.

I've visited Asahi multiple times on weekends, and our server Adrian has been the best by far! Ordering can feel a bit overwhelming but he explained everything and made sure we were taken care of. He was super helpful and gave great recommendations on what to order. I absolutely loved their nigiri (Garlic Salmon) and fried rolls. I also enjoyed the new menu options, especially the garlic chili edamame. Just wish I had pictures of the delicious food to add! Great to see this restaurant keeping the quality in check.

Came here many years ago for my birthday, moved and now I'm back. Still just as good. I came here for lunch and I also ordered from here.. it's definitely a fave. I If I could eat here every day I would. I ordered the baked scallop roll 4pcs twice because it was soo yummy! It's fresh and a decent size. I also ordered the spicy tuna, and I gotta say I think this is the first time I ordered a spicy tuna roll 8pcs and it was actually spicy.. they use real spices.. I was pleasantly surprised.. I have also ordered to go here too, I got the roll combo and it came with 23pc of cut sushi rolls and a miso soup... ahh the best share meal or for one.. In the roll combo it included the Crunch Roll 5pcs, Tuna Roll 5pcs, Salmon Roll 5pcs, Spicy Tuna Roll 4pcs, California Roll 4pcs and they were all delicious the miso soup good too.. all were great and I would definitely order again! Service was great, for both dine in and take out. I was attended quickly and my food arrived promptly. The restaurant had plenty of seating both inside and out. They do have tvs around and bar seating.. it's great to grab lunch with a friend or a casual meal.

Food was great, service was just poor. I understand people make mistakes that's okay, but when we tell you we ordered yellowtail and you try and gaslight us into believing you gave us the right order then it becomes something else. After a bit of back and forth the waitress only seemed to tell us what we wanted to hear so she can just push it onto someone else, even when she told us it's the chefs fault for giving us the albacore and that she'll go get us the yellowtail right away. 20 minutes pass and she's no where to be found, we ask one of the wait-staff "excuse me we're still waiting on our sushi" he nods and tells us "okay let me check on that for you" (very professional young man btw) When she finally does come back she says very confusedly "Were you wanting to order more sushi?" "No, we're just waiting on our yellowtail" we say "OH yea, I'll go get that for you." 5min later she comes back with a plate of ALBACORE!!! Albacore tastes like bologna to us, we know the difference! Not only that, but it was warm how long had it been waiting to be picked up for!? It sounds like a small thing I know, but it's consistent. I like to bring groups with me when I eat, sometimes 4 - 8 people and that's why I said at the start people make mistakes. We're a big group and we're ordering a lot, it's okay if you forget something or bring us the wrong things we're all people. BUT I only brought my girlfriend and my girlfriend's sister this time and on a slow day. It's not an issue of being overwhelmed now, it's lack of training and I'm sorry, but small things like (what I've stated) can make or break it for some spots for us and from what everyone said after this experience we won't be coming back. Lesson: Get your sushi from sushi people, otherwise you'll just get warm sushi you didn't order. (Please show photos to staff)

Iv eaten here several times The food is great But tonight I showed up at 9pm and they close at 10pm. They told me they aren't taking any more customers for the night. Pretty disappointing with there still being an hour. Didn't even offer to seat us at the bar or maybe a take out menu. I won't be coming back since I have no idea if I'll actually be allowed to eat.

I visited for $29.99 AYCE lunch and had a great time. The service from Patricia was friendly and helpful. The carpaccios were very delicious, but only 1 order of each per person. They have a variety of flavorful rolls and orders are placed online using their QR code. There's also patio seating if you want to sit outside. I'd just suggest management giving the restrooms some TLC.

Excellent food, good atmosphere! The service that the waiters have hear is so sweet! Definitely a good spot to satisfy your sushi craving. Daisy was very attentive and felt like she went out of her way to make my experience really enjoyable.

I had a great time, seated right away on a Thursday orders all promptly came out. The workers circulated around very quickly refilling water and generally being very friendly. The selection of fish was great and I'd strongly recommend eating here for AYCE. Ambiance cool it's a busy lil shop that's medium lit and had bumping house music in the background. :) also Andres was our goatt he'll take care of you fsfs

Adrian is amazing I need him to be my server everytime the food is delicious .. the ambience the vibe good music it's definitely a place I will return too n

Sushi is my favorite food so I automatically like the restaurant but my server is what made the meal 1000x better. Hailey was super attentive and was always on top of things before we even asked. 10/10 food, service and atmosphere.

Servers are always nice, been coming every Friday or so now for a month or so because it's really that good, and we have sushi money of course!! today I tried the new menu and all you can eat special, it was delicious, our server Adrian was extra nice! They play all kinds of good music here, gets crowded but luckily I've never had to wait for a super long time.

been doing take out more and more now they still offer the 3 for $24 deal but also includes the mandatory gratuity sauces come separate when ordered to go

It's been a long time since we came here! Tonight it was me and my wife and two grandkids! We ate like it was our last meal! Lots of help all over the place keeping up with all the dishes coming out of the kitchen! The fish was fresh and good!

Great food, super friendly staff, and fair prices. Katelin was our server and she was amazing! Highly recommend this spot we'll definitely be back.

Had a great first experience here at Asahi. Our server was Thien. He worked very professionally and great service. Would definitely recommend people to come here. Ask for Thien as a server. Gave my girl a birthday surprise with a cake.

Adrian was the BEST server! He was super attentive and knew the menu. The food was great and the music selection was as good as the food.

Service was bad food was mid waited 40 minutes I won't be coming back here anymore which is such a shame because the sushi used to be good now it's just mid. I got the baked mussels and I could tell they weren't fresh anymore by the time I got to eat them because it took them forever to make the rainbow roll and Hawaiian roll. Also the crab in the rolls taste like imitation crab meat and the spicy mayo was not good like it used to be. Rice was bad too.

When I tell you that this is some of the best sushi I've had!! Seriously, we were impressed with the quality and richness in flavor of this sushi. It was our first time here and it'll definitely not be our last. We came with friends and did the all you can eat option. We got to try several items on the menu and everything was so good. The veggie tempura was one of my favorite sides! The service was great. They refilled our waters constantly without us having to ask. The spot itself had the AC on and it felt nice compared to the warm weather outside. The tables, just as in most similar restaurants, were close to each other making the aisles a little tight to get through, but it was manageable.

Omg I love the staff here and the sushi the all you can eat deal is really good for me last time I went I think Lester was our Waiter and he was Wonderful he was really attentive and kind I would definitely ask for him to be our waiter again.

Food is awesome plus beer. Service has awesome vide great young guys on the money service. Ambiance is great play music not to loud u can talk to ur partner. N they got few TVs. My first time n im definitely coming back. Samuel n Lester on money as servers. Come here recommend some

Dined here tonight. First time eating 'all-you-can-eat' ever. It definitely was interesting. We opted to sit on the patio because inside seemed a little cafeteria-like. Music could've been a tad lower and we enjoyed the outdoor heaters. Some items were much smaller portions than pictured. Quality was good. Maya was our server and she was the sweetest and very attentive and kind. I normally take photos for my reviews but I was starving and ate everything so quick. I had the salmon sashimi, Diablo, heart attack and the Asahi cut roll. All very tasty but that was truly all I could eat.

Wow!!! This is the best sushi place I have ever been to! The all you can eat menu is off the charts! The food is amazing and delicious. Portions are wonderful! Andres was such a great server! He made sure all of our food was out fast and yummy! Will come back here tomorrow!

Pretty much every UCR student/alumnus I know seems to rave about this place. It's been in my bookmarks for years since I don't visit the IE often. We were driving from Palm Springs to Irvine and Sushi Asahi was on the way, so we stopped for lunch. This popular All You Can Eat restaurant is in a plaza on the corner of Van Buren and Lincoln. Between Fantastic Sams and Daily Brew Coffee House. Parking wasn't a problem on a Monday afternoon, lot of open spaces were available. They were busy, but we were seated promptly. 10% gratuity for all to-go specials. 15% gratuity for all dine-in customers. 18% for parties of 6+. My family doesn't eat a lot, so we ordered everything à la carte instead: Luv Luv - Combination of a Philadelphia Roll and a Crunch Roll, with a tangy twist! Cream cheese, avo, crisp shrimp tempura on the inside, wrapped in rice and seaweed, then topped with salmon slices, lemon wedges, and masago, with a spicy mayo drizzle Tuna Maki, Salmon Maki, Spicy Tuna - Basic rolls you can't go wrong with Crunch Cut Roll - Classic cucumber, shrimp tempura, avo, crabmeat filling. More crunch flakes on top would have been nice In & Out Shrimp - Similar Crunch Roll ingredients, with cilantro sauce and eel sauce drizzled on top. All work well together. I can see why they're popular! Extensive menu selection, decent prices, and the quality is higher than a few non-AYCE sushi joints.

Asahi added around 12 new rolls, every roll hit. 10/10! The staff is constantly asking if anything was needed and always refilled our drinks. Always happy to come back.

We have recently discovered this location, and I don't think that we will be going anywhere else for our AYCE sushi. This place was amazing, the service and food have been consistent, and we just have really enjoyed our experiences so far.

Now let me tell you... if you want good service, come HERE!!! And let me TELL YOUUUU!!!! ANDRES!!!! Andres is the BEST server I have EVER interacted with. He was constantly on top of things, asking us what we needed, bringing us water, you can tell he hustles. Hardest working Andres I know

We've been coming here for year and years. It's my favorite sushi place. Generous portions and the fish is exceptionally fresh. The rolls are creative as well. It's always a happy experience to come to Sushi Asahi!

Food is mediocre . Service is great tho, ambience is loud millennial. A but pricey for mediocre food . All hyped not really a fan of the sushi but maybe because I have experienced real sushi from Japan. Anyway , not a big fan. Did I mention 15% gratuity is automatically included in your bill , also we don't want not to tip because we feel bad . I feel like that's overpricing. Anyway not going back but feel free to see for yourself

My friend and I came here for all you could eat sushi, and we've been here a few times before. We usually enjoy our experience. This time, however, we were barely on our second round and they made us wait 45 minutes, and then they closed and brought the bill to us before we even got our second round that we had already ordered. We never got the rest of the food. There were 8 items remaining that were already ordered, that we never got after waiting over 45 minutes. One of my dishes also showed up with a hair in it. The service was very bad and we were waiting a very long time in between plates. I think we will find a different place going forward.

The fish is amazingly fresh! The wait staff is always willing to help with anything. It's loud but it's to be expected because they are always full. I'm never disappointed any time I come here!

I love the sushi here but make sure you check your bill, they forcibly add gratuity to the bill and don't tell you about it. Also they don't advertise the AYCE price, it's $35.99 per person for dinner.

The sushi is one of the most tender I've had. Each dish was amazing but what I was surprised about is how good the sashimi salad was. It was flavorful with a lot of fish pieces and far better than other AYCE places I've had in the past. The seared items could be seared more, but overall each item was either good or amazing. I felt the riceless rolls were also not as heavy as some other ones I've had as well. Also the service is insanely fast. It was definitely easier for them due to the number of servers for the size of the room, but it's definitely faster than I've had in terms of when the food comes out and how often they refilled our drinks. The only downsides I can think of is: - the birthday music is a bit obnoxious, especially with the lights. I would sit outside if you have epilepsy that can be induced by flashing lights. - wasabi was somewhat mild - no option of ikura (salmon roe) - the low sodium soy sauce came in packets

Thien was the absolute greatest server! Gave the best recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. If you visit make sure to ask for Thien!!

service is horrible. Took 3 refills on our drinks before our orders came and had wrong food multiple times. it's not appetizing when you're picking food off the plate and taking back the wrong ones back to the chefs. I brought family members here to enjoy lunch and it was embarrassing on my part. I will never come to this establishmen again. Manager was not helpful at all. Thankful for the food because it's a blessing but the money they charge is not worth the service they provide.

The food was delicious but the bad service was slow because they had been totally forgetting about me with my sister it had been 15 minutes for my order.

This place use to be a nice place with good food, no more. I arrived for lunch and the place was mostly empty, I said I was just 1 for lunch and was offered only 2 seating options in corners, odd as all the tables were the same size. I sat and the server came over and asked if I would be having the all you can eat, I said yes and started my order when she stopped me and said, No I'll give you a QR Code, she walked away then returned with a slip of paper with the QR Code and said I need to let you know a 15% gratuity is added to all orders. Isn't a gratuity based on service received? The QR code makes ordering via my cell phone, so there is no service there. This just makes a disconnect from the days when a server actually interacts with you, builds a relationship during the meal and is tipped based on the service. I personally won't return, but would say the food is good so judge on your own.
