Sushi Bear Sushi & Grill

Very nice staff, we got confused because they brought us 2 bowls of Miso Soup, but then they brought a sushi roll and then they brought us fried dumplings. So I told the waiter there was a mistake, he said they were ALL on the house! I was like okay, needless to say we had plenty to eat before we even got our order. All the food was great and the prices are average like any sushi place.

I went to late lunch with friends here yesterday and had a great experience. We were looking for a moment of peace in the midst of moving one of our friends. The staff was so nice and we all had deli’s food that was really comforting and super tasty. I will be making a point of going back.

My wife’s son, Alonso, and I came here today and their reputation didn’t disappoint us. It’s Alonso’s favorite place. I’m not much into sushi but the menu offered many options for people like me. I chose the chicken katsu and he got pork katsu. My wife will eat the chicken teriyaki we got her. The appetizer that we enjoyed was called the Holiday rolls, but it wasn’t anything like a roll to me. It was very tasty. They started us off with a bowl of clear soup and garden salad. I chose the ranch dressing but Alonso had the ginger dressing. I used my fork while Alonso used complimentary chop sticks. The food was delicious and very flavorful. Now I know what I will be ordering in future visits. Update-Happy 4th of July today! Regular hours. Same great service! Same great tasting food!

Love love loved Sushi Bear. I was there with my sons to celebrate my first real estate transaction and Sushi Bear did not disappoint. This will be our celebratory place for us for many more moments.

Seriously, if you’re looking for a sushi/ hibachi place to try, this is IT!! I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10 on everything. The service was impeccable. The food was mouth watering. They even gave us complimentary sides while we waited for our sushi and entrees. And the food came out FAST! The holiday atmosphere and decor was so calming and pleasant. My husband and I have tried our fair share of sushi and hibachi places around orange park and Jacksonville. This is, hands down, the absolute best place to eat!

Excellent food and service. -We tried the Volcano, HWY 17 and the Sushi Bear rolls (HWY17 was my favorite). -Service was fast and very polite. -Really liked the complimentary starters.

This restaurant is completely amazing! We always enjoy going. The food is phenomenal. The staff is incredibly gracious. We had a family member that had an issue once and they were remarkably compassionate. The kind of situation that makes a huge impact. They treated him like family the way they cared for him. The management hours only the best and delivers the best cuisine, as well. I highly recommend if you're wanting delicious sushi and a guaranteed pleasant experience!

I had a wonderful experience at this sushi restaurant recently. The sushi was prepared with obvious care and attention to detail, making each piece a delight. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my meal. Service was also impressively fast, which I really appreciated.
