The Best Restaurants In North Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"A long walk down the North Beach boardwalk is the best thing a Miamian can do on a pretty afternoon. The second best thing is to end that walk with a sunset dinner at Sushi Bichi. This outdoor restaurant is directly across from the beach and has a long menu of sushi rolls, a crunchy chicken karaage sandwich, and more mostly Japanese small plates. While the food is good and the service is great, the point of this place is to sit outside and let the ocean breeze gently stroke your face. So save it for a nice day or a post-beach meal. It’s not casual enough to show up shirtless, but you won’t be turned away if you arrive in a still-damp bathing suit." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

By the end of the meal, we were just licking it off our chopsticks. photo credit: Ryan Pfeffer Abusan Many of the rolls here come with curveball ingredients we’ve never met inside a sushi roll, like mango and eel, or spicy salmon and asparagus. This one features salmon, snow crab, asian pear, avocado, and a drizzle of yuzu aji amarillo. The unusual roommates get along so much better than anticipated. photo credit: Ryan Pfeffer Chicken Karaage Here, karaage comes in sandwich form, and it’s excellent. I’m a local Miami Beach resident but have only been to Bice twice. Once when it first opened up, and a second time this week (Nov 2025). Both times - amazing. Why? Well, for starters, the manager and staff are fantastic. Above and beyond. Example: our first visit we didn’t know happy hour only extended to the bar sans kids. The manager was super nice; he extended the happy hour drink prices to us at a regular seat and brought out some extra dishes for the kids. Also, yesterday, it started pouring and the staff immediately moved everyone around, no issue. Second, the food, food, food. The sushi is one thing, but try the mains too. The cauliflower is my favorite dish actually. Perfectly seasoned and prepared. Last, I know Miami is expensive; trust me, I live here. But if you’re gonna spend money in this part of Miami Beach, you might as well get great food and drinks. Compared to nearby restaurants, this is the way to go!

We hosted my friend’s bachelorette dinner at Sushi Bichi, and it ended up being the highlight of the entire weekend. We had a group of twelve girls, and Hayes, the owner, went above and beyond to make the night unforgettable. They greeted us with pink shots topped with pink glitter when we arrived, which set the tone for such a fun celebration. The food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal which is consistent with every experience I’ve had at Sushi Bichi. They put together an incredible family style spread for us and each course came with 3–4 different dishes. Somehow, every single one was better than the last. They even created custom rolls just for our group and surprised us with the freshest fish caught that morning. The presentation was beautiful, but the service truly stood out. They were attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly welcoming. They accommodated every dietary restriction with care, making sure everyone felt included. Sushi Bichi has always been a local favorite for me, but after this experience, I’ll be hosting all my big events here. Throughout the rest of the weekend, our group couldn’t stop recommending Sushi Bichi to other people that joined our celebrations. We all agreed it was the highlight of the weekend. If you’re looking for an elevated, memorable, and genuinely special dining experience, Sushi Bichi is it.

Google
Best secret on Miami Beach. We went back 2 days later it was so good. Outdoor with nice views. Must try the mushrooms and a bottle of wine first, then the mango roll , then find your favorite. Everything was fantastic.

Google
This is a wonderful sushi restaurant not only because of its great beachside setting but because of superior quality, freshness and attention to detail. From the simple (miso soup) to the more daring Bichi specials, we found the level of presentation and taste really a cut above other sushi places. There was one exception: for us the Abusan Bichi roll was oversauced and a contradictory texture. Some may love it but it was definitely not for us. This is where they really stepped up: the owner James Recio kindly removed it and presented an alternative dish pictured here (name unknown) which was subtle and fabulous. There are other things on the menu besides sushi, and the steak skewer was terrific. Overall, a great experience, especially because the owner is so committed to guest satisfaction.

Google
Really great food and drinks! Each portion comes with around six pieces. The staff was super friendly and always had great recommendations based on what we wanted. The food is high quality and absolutely worth every dollar.

Google
I’d recommend to anyone and know they’d enjoy it. Creative and phenomenal sushi, great enjoyable atmosphere right off boardwalk and we sat outside on a nice night, and service is incredible. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Everyone there just seemed to be having a great time, fun vibe.

Google
Amazing food with outstanding service! Bekka and James were incredibly friendly and made the whole experience memorable. This is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again — we definitely will! ♥️

Google
Consistently fantastic all around. From owner/manager, James, to the wonderful wait staff, we are never disappointed. You don’t need to be a sushi lover to love this place! In addition to a few sushi rolls, we had some eggplant skewers and scallion chicken skewers and a few other small plates great for sharing……all fantastic. Three of us shared a beef churassco skirt steak. We were stuffed. But the amazing James brought over two complimentary deserts which blew us away.

Yelp
Superb food and service every time I visit, the staff treats me VIP every time and I think that's just the way they like to treat every guest overall. Sushi is fresh, flavors are amazing, dishes are unique, and staff is always hospitable. Location and venue is also a vibe. Check out their happy hour at the bar too, great specials! I will be back!

Yelp
Did carry-out sushi and it was delicious. Needed some yummy rolls for a night in. We ordered the tuna roll and crunchy tuna roll, AND swordfish Jalapeño roll. All were delicious, but could have done without the crunchy for once, just didn't like it. The wasabi was HOT! And that made it amazing. Obviously all fresh and was so good. We supplemented with a pork skewer and truffle fries. Could have done without the skewers, FRIES with the TRUFFLE sauce was amazing. For once, I didn't take photos. DANG IT.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I recently dined here during a weekend getaway, staying just a few blocks away at the Hilton Cabana Miami. The location is incredibly convenient--you can hop on the free trolley (which we did) or take a scenic walk along the beach (our choice for the way back). The outdoor dining area was absolutely perfect--vibey, inviting, and thoughtfully equipped with fans to keep things comfortable even in the Miami heat. But as great as the atmosphere and location were, the real stars of the show were the food and service! We started with the Watermelon Sugar cocktail, and it was so refreshing we couldn't resist ordering two more. For appetizers, we had the tuna ceviche and spicy tuna crispy rice--both were out of this world. A fun surprise: they accidentally brought us avocado crispy rice first, but instead of taking it back, they let us enjoy it and still brought out the spicy tuna version. Honestly, I'm so glad we got to try both because they were phenomenal. I'd return just for those dishes alone! For sushi, we shared the tuna avocado roll, rainbow roll, and Abusan roll. Every bite was incredibly fresh, but the Abusan roll stole the show--it was my absolute favorite. From start to finish, this was a 10/10 experience. The food, the service, the ambiance--everything was spot on. I'd go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Miami!

Yelp
It has been a year since I have been to this neighborhood spot. Tonight I came after the city of Miami Beach grand opening of the Ocean Terrance which was what our community needed! It was nice to see the place busy! The bartender was so friendly and attentive! The happy hour menu had such a great selection of bites.i started off with ahi tuna ceviche. It was so good and loved the slices of celery in the juice. I also loved the chicken skewers they were so moist in the inside and had this sweet flavor. Delicious. I will be back more often now. I cute, easy spot near the water.

Yelp
Solid but I'd never go out of my way to go back here again lol. One of our friends invited us out and it was good food but eh not that classy of extravagant or breathtaking you know?? When there is better out there- why settle for less? But it's not bad here! It's good to try at least once. Everyone was very attentive. We sat at the bar. It was nighttime so not really a view of the beach- my back was turned towards the beach anyways lmao

Yelp
Daria was great in assisting us. Food was impeccable. The only issue was a large loud party that made it hard to have a pleasant romantic time as we celebrated our anniversary. The restaurant was flexible enough to get us a different table a bit away from the crowd. Unfortunately, it started raining and we were moved back to being closer to the loud party. We had a bottle of Borsao Chardonnay, started the night with their crispy mushroom with a tofu sauce (tbh it was good but it was basically a reviewed version of French friends and ranch), we had the yellow tuna ceviche, a rainbow maki and abusan roll and finished the night with the matcha tres leches (which I didn't like it. I love matcha but the cake was basically green super light taste of matcha to none. My partner ended up eating the dessert by themselves.)

Yelp
In my opinion, Sushi Bichi is probably the best restaurant in North Beach and one of the best in Miami Beach. Excellent food. Phenomenal service. All outdoor seating near the beach. Happy hour every day. Great music playing while you eat. You can come here looking casual or dressed up. I cannot recommend Sushi Bichi enough.
google avatar

Suzanna E.

Yelp
Absolutely positively outstanding food and service. The staff was led by James Recio. What a talented culinary team! We had the salmon tiradito and crispy beach mushroom appetizers. I had the omakase nigiri and sakezo roll with dry sake. My friend had the churrasco with chimichurri, rice and beans, collard greens and farofa. The farofa added a delightful texture to smoky flavor of the meat. We couldn't have had any better evening in Miami Beach. We sat outside steps away from the ocean with beautiful weather. The ambience was stunning. I highly recommend that you treat yourself to a dining experience like few others. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Pros: seriously delicious! I had the yellowtail tiradiro, the crispy tuna rice, the choclo, and two rolls, everything was so damn good. Cons: have to pay for parking and it's pricey, but it's the beach, so that's expected

Yelp
From the food to the service, everything here was FANTASTIC!! I live a few blocks away and have walked past Sushi Bichi nearly every day. We finally stopped in last month; what took us so long?! We sat at the bar for happy hour and started with the Yuzu vodka lemonade, which the bartender split into two glasses for us to share. We also ordered a bottle of excellent dry rose. For food, we had the crispy rice with spicy tuna, the lumpia shanghai roll, oysters, Japanese eggplant skewers and the sunomono noodle salad. The food was exquisitely prepared and presented. Not only was the food top notch, but the service was warm and friendly. We were taken care of by Jojo and the owner, James, was mingling with the guests, ensuring everyone was happy. Sushi Bichi is his baby, and he clearly cares that everything is perfect. One item to note - there is only outdoor seating, although it is covered. They have fans and misters in the summer, but a meal here in our "winter" is a real treat!

Yelp
We came for a last minute Vday celebration and we had a good time. Food was good , service was excellent by Joshua and the best manager ever Riu , the staff at this restaurant is always top class, ambience super extra cool, great music and beautiful people. We had oysters, a sashimi platter and crispy rice spicy tuna, a margarita and a patron tequila soda. You need to try this hidden gem .

Yelp
This place has now become my #1 sushi spot. I initially had a less-than-stellar experience, but the way the owner handled the situation completely changed my impression. After sharing my concerns, the owner personally reached out and went above and beyond to make things right. So I decided to give them another shot, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the salmon this time and it exceeded my expectations, it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It's rare to see this level of care and accountability, and it truly made all the difference. If you're looking for a great sushi spot with fresh and delicious sushi that values its customers and is committed to improvement, I highly recommend them a try. Mistakes can happen, but how they handle them shows what kind of business they are, and they absolutely earned my trust and future business! So

Yelp
I thought I had left a review for this, but I'll do it again and maybe be redundant. I love the location. It's right on the beach literally very few restaurants have access to having an ocean breeze here in Miami, which is odd more access to the beach would be so much better but we have sushi beachy. . The management was great. The service was fabulous. The food was super yummy and I had a very enjoyable time at this little oceanfront restaurant. This is a place I would come with people from out of town for sure

Yelp
Great ambience, friendly staff who's knowledgeable on their food and drinks! The chef(s) are always introducing new specials to the menu.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! Great happy hour and beer. Beautiful location by the beach, great music

Yelp
Absolutely unforgettable! Hands down the best dining experience we've ever had and that's saying a lot, considering we've eaten at some of the top restaurants across the country. In a city like Miami Beach, where overpriced and underwhelming is far too common, this local gem stands out in every way. The prices are refreshingly reasonable, but the quality is truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like family. Everyone from the servers to the food runners were kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they love working there, and that energy is contagious. the food: easily some of the best sushi we've ever tasted. Every bite was fresh, clean, and prepared with local, unprocessed ingredients. The ambiance? Impeccable. Stylish yet welcoming better than many of the "top-rated" spots in Miami. And to top it off, the owner was present and engaged, personally greeting guests and creating a sense of community that's rare to find. We'd return to Miami just for this restaurant. Truly a standout in every way.

Yelp
10/10 what a great night!! Starting off with this is suchhhb a cute space on the beach! Perfect aesthetic and summer night vibe. But our server Eloy made it awesome! He was very attentive and helpful and made our birthday girl feel super special! We did the Miami spice menu and our food was delicious . We got the yellow tail tiradito, lumpia roll, and tuna ceviche and all 10/10!!! Now the sushi! We did the 3 rolls and all had different taste some spicy some sweet it was a fun surprise ! When it came to desert they made it so special by brining us different deserts to sing happy birthday to my friend it was so lovely!!! Honestly we had the best time great food great service! Eloy was great!! It was a birthday for her to remember
google avatar

E. T.

Yelp
I love this place. I love how close it is to the ocean, the breeze, how kind the bartenders and girls who work there are, and the fact that the sushi always tastes delicious. Highly recommend the Bichi cocktail, it's always refreshing.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a beachside Japanese eatery with unique pan -coastal creations, Sushi Bichi is your spot! I was looking to celebrate my birthday with a friend who loves sushi, and I suggested Sushi Bichi, which is right down the street from my Miami Beach home. From the moment we walked into Sushi Bichi, we were greeted with a smiling and friendly hostess, who let us choose the perfect table. We were smitten by the delicious food options like the Bichi Crispy Mushrooms, the Shrimp Tempura and the Rainbow Roll (yes, it was my birthday and I am not counting calories). Everything was delightful, fresh and well presented! What I really appreciated was the music acoustics, we could actually hold a conversation without screaming at each other. The service is first class! Our server, Gustavo, was friendly and very knowledgeable with the menu. He gave my friend wonderful recommendations to match her diet restrictions. My only suggestion is to arrive early and look for parking. We were lucky to find a spot right in front of the restaurant, but there m's construction around the Miami Beach boardwalk. You can tell that Sushi Bichi takes pride in providing delicious food options and fantastic customer service. I would go back in a heartbeat! A+++

Yelp
After taking a nice walk along the beach, decided to stop in for some sushi. Great atmosphere and only a stones throw away from the water. My server Gigi was fantastic. Very attentive and very nice. The sushi was fabulous very fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Stopped by for HH after the beach and the food is very good! Stand out was the eggplant. We also had some drinks on the HH menu. Definitely would stop by again whenever we're in the area!

Yelp
We got the BOAT!!! Oh my, what a great choice we made. This fed four adults and was simply fantastic. Each piece of fish was fresh and delicious. The wasabi was as good as it gets. The wait staff was attentive without being in the way and the atmosphere was great. If you are in Miami Beach and have a craving for sushi you need to go here and feast.

Yelp
Sushi Bichi, you have easily become one of my favorite restaurants in Miami Beach. I was recommended this place for having authentic Japanese food so I had to try it for myself. Service We were greeted by Camilla and she took care of us that day. She was absolutely wonderful. She helped us with recommendations, was super friendly, and checked in on us consistently to make sure everything was going great. Food The food was incredible. They have a great variety of sushi rolls but also many other Japanese and pan coastal entree and appetizer options. We decided to try several things from the menu. We started with the Sweet and Spicy Edamame then went on to have the Salmon Tiradito , Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, The Abusan Roll, and the Zenbu Naruto Roll. I'm not the biggest fan of rice-less sushi but anyone who knows me knows I love stepping out of my comfort zone when it comes to food so the Zenbu Naruto was definitely that piece for me. Incredible. It was very refreshing and light yet filled with flavor. Very glad I decided to try it. Definitely one of my favorite pieces of the meal. They have a large selection of nigiri and sashimi so of course we had to try some. I opted for the o-toro and the wagyu. Y U M You know the fish is good when the nigiri and sashimi is that good. We also had a side of fries because I saw some photos of it on yelp and I couldn't help myself! And yes, it tastes as good as it looks. We ended the meal with a matcha pannacotta. Although the matcha flavor was underwhelming, it was still pretty good. Definitely would want to try the banana cream pie when I come back. Drinks We had to get drinks to match the vibe of the place. The beach, the sunset, the light music. Had the watermelon Sugar and the Mojito (with a gin replacement) Delicious! Ambiance It's an outdoor seating surf n turf right by the beach which meant that you can see the sunset from your table which automatically makes it a more enjoyable meal. Music was soft which I always prefer Overall, definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in Miami. The food and service were immaculate and i will definitely be coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
Thank you Sushi Bichi for assisting us in celebrating our daughter's birthday. The Hammachiyatta and Sakezo rolls were our favorite! We will come back to try the other items. The Matcha Tres Leche was to die for...it was the perfect ending to our celebratory dinner. It is a pleasure to dine at a restaurant with the most humble and wonderful staff. Sushi Bichi knows the value of having great quality food and some unique and tasty items on the menu. The ambiance is perfect vibe. We had a great experience!

Yelp
Superb service & delicious food. We came on a rare chilly Miami November night they only offer outdoor seating but had plenty of space heaters to keep you cozy. They treat you so warm and welcoming the second you walk in. It was our first time and I think because the waiter noticed I felt chilly he brought a large seafood stew, on the house!!!! It was warm and delicious, filled with shrimp, mussel, calamari. We ordered several dishes ceviche, and sushi dishes. They were all delicious my favorite was the ceviche. We were so full we opted out to dessert but they insisted we try their matcha tres leches also on the house and it was yummy! We will be back and sharing this with our family and friends!
google avatar

Albert C.

Yelp
We had a party of eight. The service was awesome and the food was excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return. Everyone loved it! The crispy rice tuna was my favorite.
google avatar

Anne L.

Yelp
The first restaurant we went to after moving to North Beach, Sushi Bichi did not disappoint! We went for lunch, and while the restaurant was quite empty, the service was excellent. It was a hot afternoon and most of the seating is outside, so I suspect this to be the culprit of the low attendance. We had our pick of tables, so we chose a shady one next to a fan. The restaurant is nestled right off the beach on the Miami Beach beach path. Sadly at the time of this review, there is construction in between the restaurant and the beach, but once the construction is complete the ambience will be just perfect! They have string lights strung as well, so the nighttime vibe is dreamy and romantic. We got a bunch of starters, all of which were fabulous. We got the crispy rice, our favorite, which was extra crispy! The tuna tiradito was also notable - pieces of tuna sashimi in a tart raspberry sauce. The sweet and spicy edamame was prepared in a pretty unique fashion. They were topped with tajin, that red spice that is put on the rim of margaritas, and drizzled in Maple syrup. Another item that I utterly loved was the Citrus Grilled Octopus. It had large chunks of grilled octopus along with fingerling potatoes all topped with an orange citrus sauce. Absolutely perfect dish in my opinion. Highly recommend if you love octopus. The rolls we got were very unique. The Zenbu Naruto is a soy paper roll with a bunch of components and a touch of sweetness due to the yuzu jam and the sauce that was on it. The hamachi jalapeno roll didn't really pack any amount of spice and was rather bland in taste. The jalapeno was inside the roll and served more as a means to crunch than spice. Aside from the hamachi jalapeno roll, everything else we ordered at Sushi Bichi was phenomenal, though a bit on the pricier side for lunch if you want to share a bunch of things. I wouldn't say their prices are outrageous for dinner though and I'd like to go back for happy hour as well! The happy hour drink specials aren't great ($9 cocktails and wines, $6 beers), but they have a ton of food specials for $7, and food specials during happy hour in North Beach are hard to come by. I would highly recommend Sushi Bichi for a nice, outdoor Japanese dinner! Their flavor combinations are amazing, and the service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely be returning often.

Yelp
If I could go 100 stars I would. My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had never been before. I feel in love with the decor. The wood was beautiful and made the ambiance relaxing. Everyone who worked there was nice and helpful, especially our waiter. If there was something on the menu we wanted but didn't want an ingredient, he gave options. That was great. The manager/owner went out of his way to make sure everyone was given the service they needed and was very welcoming. I plan to go back soon. You should go to.

Yelp
This place has become one of my favorite rest lately. The food is always delicious, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the vibes are perfect for a date. The skewers are delicious but honestly the esquites blew me away. These are the best I've ever had.

Yelp
Food is top notch chef is very talented I would recommend 10 out of 10. You will definitely come back

Yelp
Everything is great. Try the crispy rice and antiox cocktail. Always a fun time and spectacular food.

Alex S.

Yelp
Very good sushi place, fresh fish, very good service. Since the place is literally by the beach we got some mosquitoes at the evening time. The place was so nice to bring us anti-bug spray and set a pretty powerful fun on us so no mosquito can bother us.
google avatar

Stephen M.

Yelp
Right off the bat the service is outstanding. The food is excellent and well priced. Drinks are superb and the ambience is warm, inviting, outside. Trendy music plays not too loud as locals and newcomers get to know each other at the large square shaped bar. No notes.

Yelp
Was in the mood for something fresh and my mind immediately went to Sushi Bichi. It's been quite awhile since I've last been here but the food is still just as good as I remember!!! If not BETTER. Service is immaculate, everyone is so friendly and attentive. Amazing and fresh innovative flavors, such an underrated Miami restaurant. I am still thinking about that Crispy Bichi Salad, everything about it is perfect... I need the recipe please!!!!

Yelp
We took our daughter for a birthday dinner and we were blown away by this amazing restaurant. The delicious food and the very gracious attention to customers make this restaurant truly different. Run don't walk!

Lindsay S.

Yelp
10/10! Probably my favorite restaurant in North Beach. Great food, great service and atmosphere. It can get a little warm on hot days but otherwise this place rocks! Happy Hour menu is solid too. If you haven't been, you must try it!

Dylan F.

Yelp
Great sushi and service. 5 star vibes with music too. Lauren was great at the bar and Cole helped pick out fire sushi from the menu. Will 100% come back regularly.

Grover G.

Yelp
Best Happy hour in North beach Miami! Plates range from $6-$10 going from edamame, raw oysters, fried mushrooms. Their margaritas are amazing and super refreshing, especially if you're coming from the beach which is across the street. Sushi is fresh and flavorful. But for sure happy our is the best time to go
google avatar

Yelp
Good amount of people. Good energy. Beach breeze. Friendly host. Aesthetically pleasing. The Himachi tiradito was amazinggggg! Very very friendly staff. Just overall a great experience. Highly recommend this place!!! The happy hour menu looks nice. That's my next visit

Yelp
This restaurant is amazing. Located right on the boardwalk in north beach, the atmosphere is amazing. All of the staff are super on it & are definitely amongst the most professional staff I have ever been served by. Ben has given me the best recommendation & really knows his food, thank you much Ben!!! Now to the food. Where do I start? Everything is so delicious. I love their happy hour menu. They have the best oysters, 3 for $7 on the happy hour menu. I love their crispy rice with tuna, I believe there is truffle on this dish. The tiradito is fire & they have a "noodle" salad made with fresh veggies & this delicious vinaigrette, also on the happy hour menu. Their banana pie for dessert is one of my very favorite deserts EVER. I would take that on my last meal & die a happy man!!! Sushi Bichi is a must if you are in north beach, miami. Every time I eat here I feel so clean eating their healthy fresh food & I leave happier then I could've imagined. I also met the owner of this restaurant at Publix one time & he was just as friendly as his staff at the restaurant are. Great work, you guys are the best!!!

Yelp
My experience at Suchi Bichi was seriously top notch. Located on the beach in a really cute area, you wouldn't expect much, but the service, ambiance and food was outstanding. We started off with the Crispy Bichi Salad and the Tuna Tiradito. I loved the fresh tuna and the crispy chickpeas in the salad. Each ingredient they utilized in the salad really complimented each other very well. Both dishes were delicious. For our main course we tried the Hammachiyatta roll that had Shrimp tempura, Hamachi, Cilantro, Chive, Jicama, Crispy Shallot, Jalapeno topped with aioli. It was amazing! Next we had the Abusan roll which was: Salmon torched, Snow crab, Asian Pear, Avocado, topped with a Yuzu aji amarillo drizzle. I would have to say that they were some of the freshest sushi rolls I have experienced thus far living in South FL. We also tried the shrimp, oyster mushroom/asparagus and tenderloin skewers. Each skewer was cooked impeccably well. We ended the night with a delectable banana cream pie and a glass of red wine. A big thanks to our server extraordinaire, Juan Carlo and manager James for making our experience so delightful.

Yelp
I recently discovered @sushibichi located at 7330 Ocean Terrace in Miami Beach. This Japanese-inspired sun, surf & sushi beachside sanctuary is located just foot steps from the @miamibeachbandshell and has great happy hour specials and a few #vegan options too, and I not only enjoyed the ambiance, but I thought the food was amazing too! The Crispy Bichi Mushrooms with a zesty tofu dip, was a phenomenal appetizer, as the mushrooms were super crispy and great for dipping in the zesty tofu sauce, and it was loved by vegans and non vegans alike, highly recommend. The Japanese Eggplant Skewers served with a miso glaze and chives were phenomenal! The eggplant was grilled and soft and melted in my mouth and was really the star of the show, the miso glaze was perfect on this and I would definitely get this again. The King Oyster Mushroom & Asparagus with miso glaze and shichimi were also incredible, the veggies were grilled to perfection and the miso was the perfect dressing for this dish too. These Items along with a lot of other vegan options and a great happy hour menu with imaginative cocktails, make this restaurant a great option... And that's #myprerogative #plantbasedprerogative #pbp

Yelp
We absolutely LOVED Sushi Bichi on our trip to North Beach. The food was absolutely amazing, and the prices were surprisingly affordable considering the location (right on the beach)! We went on a Friday night, and made reservations (it wasn't super packed during the off season). Parking was slightly aggravating but I think it's because we weren't familiar with the area, and I think there are options that we didn't know about close by. The atmosphere was super intimate and cozy on the patio. It was rather warm, but of course you expect that in Miami! We ordered a few different items, all delicious. Must try: - Hammachiyatta Roll -Crispy Rice with Tuna -Chicken Karaage Our waiter, Patrick, was so friendly and fun. He was also extremely helpful with menu recommendations. This place is a must go in the area, and the best sushi I've ever had!

Yelp
I rarely leave reviews for restaurants but I really enjoyed this place. The entire staff was extremely hospitable in a city where I find it to be very uncommon. Food was great and the ambience was even better. Owner even came by to entertain our toddler who started to become fussy towards the end. I'll highly recommend this to any of my friends in the area.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The food is sooo good and the service is great as well. The restaurant is all outdoors but it has a roof so you don't have the sun beating down on you. There was actually a nice breeze the day I went, so it was perfect. We went for Happy Hour on a Saturday with some friends and sat at the bar. The bartenders Triton and Kristen were very helpful and friendly. The owner makes his rounds and asks everyone how everything is going so that's a nice touch as well. We ordered many dishes and drinks from their HH menu and some also from their regular menu and everything we tasted was delicious. Will be back and I would say it's definitely worth taking a trip to, even if you aren't very close to the area.

Yelp
So pretty nice I went twice! I spent this last weekend staycation in the North Beach área. I used to have an old favorite restaurant in the Lobby at what is now the present location of SushiBichi. It sat abandoned for awhile after that restaurant closed. Well SushiBichi is a worthy heir to this beachfront location. SushiBichi is an outdoor / terrace only restaurant with both bar and exterior tables and a short stroll from the water. It's perfect whether after a day at beach or pre full moon dinner date. So you're asking why am I eating at a sushi place? I was told by my server / bartender Triton (cool name for a beachside chef right?) that they're based on Japanese and coastal fusion cuisine. The menu is seafood heavy but do have a few non-seafood dishes, of which I enjoyed two. The first dinner, Saturday night, I had I enjoyed their Pinoy Adobo Coconut Chicken with a side of slightly sticky garlic rice. These generously-portioned juicy chicken thighs were prepared with a sweet coconut glaze that balanced - but didn't drown out - the aromatic truffles & onions. Sunday night, in addition to the crispy furaido potato skinny fries, I savored their braised & seared guava pork with a hint of guava glaze and a bed of mango slaw & thinly sliced red peppers. Turrón (banana flambé slices on a bed of banana leaves) sated my sweet tooth. I'll be back soon to try their other non-seafood plates and enjoy the view!

Yelp
Love this new addition to the neighborhood! I came by for a light happy hour bite with a few friends. I had the yuzu lemonade vodka, shishito peppers and pork skewers. Everything was delicious and the presentation is exceptional! My friend had the oysters and those looked great as well. The restaurant is all outdoors, but partially covered. It started raining pretty hard and the staff were able to quickly move our table into a covered area that protected us from the rain. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more food! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic ambiance! Food: I was very impressed by the balance of flavors in each dish. * Yellowtail tiradito: Small portions like most japanese restaurants but it's the flavors that count. The spicy from the jalapeño, brightness from the citrus, the texture of the yellowtail, and the additional sauces on the bottom melded together to be a whole experience, exciting all aspects of your taste buds. The yellowtail itself was high quality with no fishy taste (I honestly forgot I was even eating fish). * Crispy mushrooms: Yummy on their own but it's the dip that really takes it to another level. * Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Crispy rice is usually a must-have at japanese restaurants, and the same applies here. * Beef tenderloin skewers: I was worried that the meat would be dry since that's always a risk with skewers, but these were so tender and juicy. The red and green chimichurri allows you to try change up the flavor. * Shrimp tempura bichi roll: This roll surprised me since the flavors are less intense than deluxe shrimp tempura rolls at other sushi restaurants, but I realized that's because they didn't go for the easy sweet brown sauce or spicy mayo topping that dominates the rolls of other sushi restaurants. Instead, this roll actually has subtlety in the taste and texture of each ingredient. Service * It started raining, and the staff were very quick to help us move from our uncovered table to covered tables. * They refilled my water often * I LOVED how the water is cold but they never poured the ice into the glass. Ambiance * The wooden exterior was such a vibe, especially as the sun was setting and we were just across the entrance to the beach. * It's just a block from the main street (Collins Ave) so it's a convenient location * It was not loud at all so it was easy to chat Overall, I highly recommend Sushi Bichi. Whether it's a romantic dinner or birthday dinner, this place can fit all sorts of needs.
