Google
Service was excellent. The waitstaff and food runners are extremely attentive and friendly. I didn’t make a reservation, but was able to scan a QR code for their waitlist. Wait wasn’t bad (approx 12 min) for a Friday night. There is a wide variety of options and the price for the all you can eat is reasonable ($23.99 per adult for dinner). Food is very good. A solid 4 star experience.

M-L O.

Google
One of the best Sushi places around the area. They have a huge selection on the menu of different food items to get. The service is always friendly. The one downside is I did find a hair in my food on one of the trips that we did there. There is plenty of parking outside

Thiti B.

Google
Sushi, roll and all the kitchen entree are freshly made. The quality is excellence and delicious. The salad bar is minimal but of good quality. Highly recommend for family feast.

Gerli P.

Google
Very delicious menu, all you can eat, dinner 23.99$, salad bar and ice cream + the whole menu. I had the nicest server, didn’t catch her name but the only blonde one I saw. Definitely going to return!

shelly M.

Google
Best Sushi ever. Made as you order it from the menu. Will always be hot and fresh. The california sushi is my favorite, it's fried sushi.🤗

Julianna

Google
I love going In person, the servers are always wonderful and rolls come out fast, there’s a salad bar with amazing pinwheels. I tried take out to see if it was worth it, it was. Prices are decent and you get a good deal of sushi. 6 rolls for classic and 8 for special rolls. (Same as in dining) packaging was great.

Daniel P.

Google
The price is best here The food was good too Last time, it was so long line to wait. Today is just getting in it and eating. Services and food were good Strong recommend it

Google
I’ve been coming here for well over a year now. It’s my favorite spot. The food is usually always good and I’ve never had a complaint. Today I went in and ordered my usual, crab Rangoon and 3 mango rolls. Crab Rangoon was delicious as always, but when my sushi came out I had a few issues. There was a piece of something on top of a few of the rolls, dark pieces of I don’t know what mixed into the rice itself, and a lot of the avocado was straight up blackened. I honestly feel bad about complaining about food. I respectfully asked the waitress if I could get a remake because I know that’s not usual. She saw everything I saw and literally gasped and said absolutely. Next thing I know the, who I assume, was the manager, came back with my plate and started saying that it was only a few pieces so it’s not a big deal. I straight up had to re pick through it and show him my concern. He was so disrespectful, saying “we’re not giving you free food” that’s not what I asked for. Then he said he would only bring each roll out one by one so I can make sure everything’s okay. I’ve never been so harassed in my life let alone as a customer. Then, he came back over to tell me I can’t eat my crab Rangoon the way that I was. I was absolutely horrified and could not believe my ears. I told him to stop harassing me as me and my friend were just trying to enjoy our dinner. He was waving his hands around my crab Rangoon so much to the point I told him “ get your hands out of my food” I genuinely can’t even believe this happened it felt like a fever dream. (My parents know how often I come here that they bought me a $120 gift card for Christmas) I attached an image of how the roll typically looks at the bottom and how there’s no weird red spots or weird goop on the side. (I also have a video of him arguing with me about it but it won’t let me attach videos in a review)

Yelp
We visited Sushi Bomb ( first time) with a party of six to celebrate a birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! The restaurant is located in a shared parking lot, but finding a spot wasn't an issue. Inside, it's spacious and welcoming--plenty of room for larger groups. The experience is an all-you-can-eat option at just $25 per person, which is a great deal for the quality. The sushi rolls were fresh and made to order, and the hibachi dishes--though prepared in the back--still came out hot, flavorful, and delicious. Pro tip: you can customize your hibachi with no rice or all broccoli, which is a nice touch. Everyone in our group left full, happy, and already talking about our next visit. Great food, great value, and a fun place for any celebration!

Yelp
The inside was super fancy. Very open, warm lighting. We were seated right by the line where the food is cooked so getting in and out was a little awkward. The sushi was good! Service was ok.
google avatar

Yelp
Sushi Bomb is an awesome AYCE sushi spot in Robinson! The restaurant is huge but if you go on a weekend, expect to wait at least an hour to sit down. The sushi is surprisingly fantastic! Sushi Bomb is great for large groups or a date night. There is no hibachi table, so don't expect a live show... just good sushi! Don't forget to order the banana roll for dessert!
google avatar

Dani J.

Yelp
This is my 10 year olds favorite restaurant. When we went for his birthday and we started singing the entire restaurant started singing. He loved it. We dont even eat fish and we love the variety of vegetarian sushi. Everyone is so friendly. Its a great family experience.
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
Oh my god this place was awesome. The sushi was so good and I literally felt like I was going to explode after. We didn't feel like leaving or giving up and the food came so quickly! Very impressed with the service and how nice the place was. Friends and family friendly
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place! As far as All You Can Eat goes, they have tasty fresh food always! GREAT FLAVOR, and usually pretty quick and friendly service. Plenty of seating as well to ensure pretty quick turnover times for tables too. I LOVE sushi and this place is top notch in my opinion. The sushi is always guaranteed to fulfill my want for some yummy goodness. Its hard up here to find good sushi but at the price point you really can't beat it. There are also a bunch of other choices for food too. Great appetizers, soup, sushi and even American food choices too for the kids. I will be back!

Yelp
Sushi Bomb is a casual Japanese restaurant that offers an *all-you-can-eat* menu of appetizers, sushis, and entrees (e.g., noodles, hibachi, and teriyaki). Current prices are $18 per adult for lunch (discounted for children) and $24 per adult for dinner (discounted for children). Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available for an additional charge. Please see my attached photos for the menu in August 2024. In the past several months, my husband and I have eaten a few meals here. Our waiters promptly and courteously took our orders, handed over our foods, and processed our payments. Across our meals, we have eaten the miso soup, spring roll, crab rangoon, gyoza, shrimp shumai dumplings, vegetable roll, Alaska roll, salmon-lover roll, Miami roll, red-sun roll, rocking roll, king-lobster roll, spicy crabmeat roll, Hawaiian roll, hibachi vegetables, hibachi shrimp, teriyaki chicken, chicken noodles, fried rice, etcetera. We thought that these foods were not the best that we have eaten in the Pittsburgh area, but they were still very fresh and good. For the all-you-can-eat price, this restaurant can be a good bargain.

Yelp
Too much rice to sushi ratio still. Better on sundays. Worth it for the mems. sushi sushi
google avatar

Jordan A.

Yelp
The food is great for the price. With that being said, it's nothing special. I've been to several ayce sushi places. This is by far the cheapest one, and I would go as far to say that the food is better than most of the other ones I've been too. There is a lot on the menu and the food comes out fast. I think this is very worth it the price, but if you want yummier sushi there are several places to get it. For example, Kujira in Shadyside ha yummier food, but the menu is much more limited and the ayce costs $10 more. The ambience is very casual. There are tvs to watch the game too.

Yelp
This place was Sooooo busy on a Thursday evening! We arrived around 7 and actually had a wait. The concept of "all you can eat" was very alluring, my friend and I ordered a few special sushi rolls to share, along with appetizers and soups. I will say that I was happy with the freshness of the food here, and the effectiveness of the wait staff and sushi chefs - we never waited long for food, and everything came out very fresh. The sushi was very good, I was pleased with the amount of fish provided.
google avatar

Lyn P.

Yelp
Came here for dinner it's always been good every time I come here. They don't have sashimi, but they have a lot of varieties to choose from. Service is always good here as well.ambience is they have a such bar where you can see them make them. It gets really busy on weekends. Please always check in on the website to be on waiting lists otherwise sometimes you would have to wait awhile to be sit in..price is good but remember what you order you would have to finish otherwise there be a charge for left over. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Brenda Y.

Yelp
You could tell that the fish is low quality and not fresh. The rice to fish ratio is off because there is too much rice. Food also took a while to prepare.
google avatar

Josh W.

Yelp
I didn't realize the place was all you could eat sushi before I got there but was pleasantly surprised. The sushi itself was good, and they let you try any rolls you would like and keep ordering until you say no more all for the same price. The service was great, and the ambiance pleasant for a date or just a family outing.
google avatar

Amy T. H.

Yelp
For a $24 dinner sushi buffet, i expect a lot more from Sushi Bomb. First, the waitress had troubles getting the correct orders for our table but considering we are a big group (8), i understand it could be difficult. We ordered many dishes from each category and we didn't like a lot of them. Crab rangoon was over fried, didn't have a lot of stuffing in it. Fried calamari was super chewy. The single sushi pieces were disappointing. The rice kept falling off and had no flavor. Yellowtail Jalapeno didn't taste fresh. I find it quite frustrating that the raw fish at a sushi place doesn't taste fresh.
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
Very happy to have discovered this place! The sushi menu is quite vast and has plenty of options. We tried a ton of different rolls, number 63 being my favorite. They came out surprisingly quick, and our waiter was kind. Will definitely go back! Make sure to add yourself to the waitlist before you go. We waited about 1.5 hours with 34 parties ahead of us; but worth the wait.
google avatar

Valerie P.

Yelp
Came here with a big party and had to wait about 2.5 hours? - understandable though considering our large party. Fortunately, you can join the waitlist and see where you are on the waitlist. Despite our long wait, the service remained amazing - they were super attentive and quick, and always made sure to check in on us. The food for an AYCE was decent, the variety of rolls they had were immense. The breadth of food is definitely a plus at this location and the quality was decent as well. The food came out really quick which was great. One note about the sushi, the rice tends to be overcooked / too soft for our liking but otherwise, the flavour and rice to veggie/meat ratio is satisfactory. Overall, this is a great place to come with family or friends if you're looking for a chill atmosphere, fast service, and decent sushi!

Yelp
I finally got to try this place! Every other time I tried it was too long of a wait. Definitely be aware of that as line can be long often but that can be a good thing! The sushi is good, not the best I've had but definitely worth it the Saturday dinner buffet cost of $25ish with a variety of options of sushi, appetizers, and other. There is also a salad bar style of additional sides and ice cream that is self serve while all else is order as you eat. Definitely the place to be when on a crab Rangoon kick, ate a few plates. I was told by a friend that they will charge you for anything you order and don't eat so don't over order. The only thing that I disliked was the waitress wasn't very friendly and seemed to also rush us as once she brought the checks she held her hand out for our cards almost immediately rather than returning as is normal. Won't down star the restaurant for that as maybe she had a bad day.
google avatar

Raymond B.

Yelp
This place was excellent, the staff was very polite and attentive. This was one of only a few places that had all you can eat menu that included sushi, fried appetizers, noodles, and many other items for only $23.99 per person. The inside was no special place, simple and functional. I will definitely return next time in town
google avatar

Alexandra A.

Yelp
finally an AYCE sushi that i can finally try! i think the price is super worth for what you can get here. i definitely recommend coming in with a super empty stomach so you can get your money's worth. my friend and i ended up getting almost every appetizer they had so we got pretty full quickly and only ended up getting 3 rolls. their appetizers were delicious and my favorite was the crab rangoons! the place is massive, so there are lots of seating around. we went around dinner rush time on a sunday so we definitely had to wait around for up to 15-20 minutes.
google avatar

Zabrina H.

Yelp
Still my favorite sushi place in Pittsburgh. We came on a Monday night at 5 pm and received excellent service and had no wait. I noticed if you come any time after 6 pm on any day there will be a wait. I don't believe they take reservations. I noticed they raised the adult all you can eat price to $23.99 ($25 after tax). Compared to other sushi restaurants, I think it's still a good price if you have more than one roll. I hope they don't raise it again though.
google avatar

Menghai T.

Yelp
I came here with a group of friends but there was a huge wait of over two hours. We got a variety of different rolls as this was an all you can eat place. Rolls included:Godzilla roll, dragon roll, white dragon roll, salmon lover roll, and more. There were some other side appetizers like calamari and shrimp tempura. Overall I enjoyed most of the sushi, a variety of different combinations to try from. It was $24 per person with an added on 18% service charge for my group of 6+. I would definitely check it out! Food: 8.0 Staff/service: 7 Overall: 7.7/10
google avatar

Izzie S.

Yelp
The food is amazing for the price and the service is great too! The All you can eat aspect really puts a twist on just how much good you can get for $20 - only thing is if you don't finish your sushi you have to pay for it.
google avatar

Grace K.

Yelp
This has to be the best all you can eat sushi in Pittsburgh! Normally I think the quality isn't there with this dining concept but not in this case! It's an amazing deal with a price you can't beat. Loved all my rolls.
google avatar

Paula D.

Yelp
I took two pieces out of the small roll before I took a picture. Then I went back and looked at the receipt. You will see that I spent nearly $40 for what is in this picture that's quite ridiculous and the smaller roll was 100 times better than the Big roll. That was nothing but rice really. I would suggest going somewhere else where you don't have to be a neurosurgeon to afford an actual meal. Thankfully, I wasn't extremely hungry.

David K.

Yelp
Was going to give a 1 star review for stupid policy but decided not to. Just be aware if you don't like something, you will be charged extra for not eating it. I understand the extra charge for over ordering and not finishing. I still got more food, just didn't finish the one roll because it was gross. Other than that, it was a good experience. Restaurant is clean and nice. Food comes out pretty fast. Don't bother with the appetizers. They (I got calamari and crab rangoon) are average at best. Other than the mango roll, everything was pretty good. Definitely got my moneys worth!
google avatar

David Y.

Yelp
Sushi bomb is a great all you can eat option in the Robinson area. The sushi is good but not great, the hibachi is really what shines though. The service is usually very good, BUT the wait can be long (I'm talking sometimes 3+ hours or more but to be fair to sushi bomb we've been quoted a 1.5hour wait that was only 11 minutes, but there is a bar next door you can grab a beer at). The issue with the wait and service really only becomes a problem if you wait 2 hours and then have 30min to eat they will let you know it and that can be awkward. Overall the important part here is that you're getting all you can eat sushi, hibachi, teriyaki, salad bar all for 25$; and for that its a great experience for me aside from the wait. I understand they likely don't have many TVs to discourage people from lingering but I would like to be able to watch a game and enjoy the all you can eat if it was easier.

Yelp
Where do I begin! The service at Sushi Bomb made my Mother's Day extra special! Every time we go, the service and food are memorable! Mother's Day, my husband and I walked right in and were immediately seated at 2:30pm, no wait. Yes I know, pretty early for dinner, but when it's AYCE, it's never too early! We ordered Shumai & Fried Calamari and Spring Rolls for appetizers. So good! Hubby had Shrimp Noodles and Shrimp Hibachi for his entree, while I ordered a Vegetable Noodles and 2 Specialty Rolls. I think they were #'s 56&57, .... Edited to add: Hawaiian Roll & Crazy Monkey Roll, ... they were both soooooo good! I wish I would've had the room for the Mango Roll, but I was stuffed! But, I managed to find room for their Excellent Crab Rangoon. Truly, THE BEST Crab Rangoon that I've ever had, and believe me, in my 69 years, I've had crab Rangoon in many states & many places. I do highly recommend Sushi Bomb! I half wish they were closer to home, but I know I'd be there Too often if they were! :).

Brianna L.

Yelp
I took my husband here for our monthly date night yesterday. We got there around 6:30 PM and they had an hour and a half wait. There was a QR Code you had to scan to be added to the waitlist. We added ourselves to the wait list because we read about the amazing reviews and we wanted to try Sushi Bomb. We hung out at a bar in the meantime and came back when we were called for our table. When we sat down Ivan got our drink orders and gave us some time to look over the menu. We were surprised to see that they did all you can eat sushi for $23.99/person. The sushi was so fresh and delicious - I am not sure if it was the long wait and being hungry or what but it was so good, I was in a food coma. We will definitely be returning to sushi bomb and I have bookmarked the waitlist so in the future we will add ourselves to prevent such a long wait. ALSO - you can pick out ice cream at the end if you want. They have chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Barely any raw fish and crab meat in every roll or nigiri we had. They put the thinnest paper thin sliver of salmon for nigiri (I could gently peel it off to see how see through it was) and some of the pieces of the rolls were missing raw fish. The salad bar was lack luster with random cut lettuce, seaweed salad and some kind of other salad. Waiter service was fine, however not worth the wait even joining the waitlist online before arriving. I didn't receive a text after joining and had to ask the front desk often on estimate wait time. All they would tell me is they would text me when they are ready - gave no rough time. I guess the miso soup was fine. Which says a lot if that's all I attempted to "compliment". Honestly wish I took pictures as proof, I was just too hangry. So take this review/words as you will.

Brekka S.

Yelp
If you want decent sushi for a great price. Go here. It's good for the price and how fast they pump food out. Waited about 20 minutes in a Saturday night. You can join the waitlist ahead of time to save time. Parking can be rough. Service is good. They have a small bar for desserts and some salads.
google avatar

Mark Y.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was awesome. RAYNE is a great server. She was fast and very polite. .
google avatar

Gloria W.

Yelp
Me and my party of four got seated immediately around 12 on a Sunday. The sushi itself is decent in quality (obviously can't rival pricier omakase services) but for ~$25 after tip, it's solid for sure. It's definitely lots of fun with a group of friends committed to eating tons of sushi too
google avatar

Jess N.

Yelp
I've been to sushi bomb now a handful of times and I keep coming back for good reason. The quality of the food is great and haven't had bad service yet. I mean unlimited sushi and other foods as well? You just can't complain! It's a very casual spot but it's part of why I love it. Come as you are!
google avatar

Sammie D.

Yelp
Went to this place on a whim because the all you can eat was cheap for Pittsburgh and not too far from our hotel. We all got a variety of rolls and all were very fresh. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. She even managed to bring us some gluten free soy sauce which was greatly appreciated! The restaurant itself is very clean and large. We had a group of about 7 and they were still able to give us separate checks (we did still get the service charge for the large group). Overall when I come back to Pittsburgh, I would definitely be back!
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
This place is a must on your list to visit! Even if you don't eat sushi, you can still get all you can eat hibachi. They offer chicken, steak, shrimp, and veggies. The apps are delicious expecially the spring roll and crab Rangoon. We went during Friday night and it was busy. You should join the waitlist if you decide to join. We joined at 5pm to get seated at 7pm. It is very busy and noisy. The floors are slippery. The salad bar and dessert bar is pretty nice. I suggest getting your sushi grub in first then eating the fillers of apps and rice/noodle dishes.
google avatar

Rob B.

Yelp
I stopped back in recently for lunch and everything was very good :D Miso was perfect Atmosphere was calm and relaxing Service was fast Waitress was friendly Salad bar/buffet was clean and delicious Wasabi was nice Rolls were on point Nigiri was fresh Sapporo was cold and tasty Definitely better than the last time I was here No complaints Recommended and I'll be back!

Yelp
Of all the places I visited for the first time this year, Sushi Bomb was probably my favorite. They had been on my "must dine here" list for a while, so finally I managed to stop in with an empty stomach. And coming here with an empty stomach was essential since I wanted to enjoy their all-you-can-eat sushi menu! The place was PACKED when I came here with friends, and something tells me that's the norm. Fortunately our party was seated relatively quickly, although larger groups weren't so lucky. The waiters were quick to stop by our table and despite the dinner rush, we were never left waiting long for our sushi. And it was so good! Everyone was able to order their favorite rolls as well as taste some new ones, and we had a great time gorging ourselves. Truly the only thing that could have made the meal better was the ability to immediately fall into a food coma nap afterwards. Maybe the tip here is to have a designated driver who won't be too sleepy to get your dinner party home? Jokes aside, sushi is my favorite food; so any time I find a good sushi place I'm a happy camper. My resolution for 2024 is definitely to visit Sushi Bomb again. And maybe one day I'll check out their hibachi options? ...Maybe. It's hard to turn down good all-you-can-eat sushi, after all!
google avatar

Tess D.

Yelp
The food here was pretty good and there was a wide variety of options to choose from. I had heard great things about this place and was eager to try it with some friends. I don't know how else to say it except the vibe in this place was off. Each time we ordered more we felt nervous as the servers seemed to be judging us, giving strange looks to certain members of the table when they ordered, specifically to one member of our party who really liked a specific dish and wanted to reorder it several times. It was a very odd experience. Food was decent but the tension in the air was distracting from the meal itself
google avatar

Candace S.

Yelp
We decided to see what the buzz was about and checked out this sushi place. We had a party of 2 around 8 pm, so the wait was only about 5-10 minutes. It's an all you eat buffet for one price, everything is made to order, and they bring the food directly to your table. First, the menu is MASSIVE. They have many options to choose from. From fried rice to veggie tempura and hand-rolled sushi, this place gives you a bang for your buck! The decor and lighting are very beautiful; however, you don't have to be dressed fancy to eat here. We mainly went for the sushi, so I can't really speak on the side options. The sushi is made to order, and you get 6-8 pieces per roll. It took the server about 5-10 minutes to bring out our order, and he was very attentive the entire time. The food was really good, and I feel that the value far exceeds the price if you are interested in trying different items. They ask you to only order what you can consume, but they do not let you take food home unless you are paying for it separately.
google avatar

Roman H.

Yelp
Best food ever I have never had so much food it is sooooo good you couldn't ask for better food
google avatar

Melissa T.

Yelp
We tried going to a local place here and Washington but they were closed, so we decided to make the trip since we had our mind set on all you can eat sushi. This wasn't our first time going but it certainly our first time without having to wait which was awesome!! Normally we don't mind the wait though because it's worth it. Both of us got our normal orders of things. Both of us absolutely love their shrimp shumai and I am a crab rangoon fanatic. I am a big fan of their sweet potato roll, such a great flavor and texture. My partner loves their volcano roll. The waiters are always attentive and friendly. The place is well maintained. Always pretty cool to see them making the sushi behind the bar too.

Tina M.

Yelp
My niece took me here for my birthday and I was blown away by all the food you get. The service was amazing and the food was amazing. The price is great too. I'm definitely going back!!!
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
This place is definitely worth the wait and price (about $17-25 for lunch and dinner). The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. The food tastes fresh and not fishy. There are tons of options for people who don't want raw fish or sushi at all. The Godzilla roll is one of my favorites, tempura and cream cheese I mean come on! And the simple spicy tuna roll was incredible.

Rachel M.

Yelp
My and my boyfriend are in for the weekend, there were lots of issues with this place and I would actually warn people not to go. First of all I asked about charging if we were able to split the food and the waitress said yes and she wouldn't charge us for two people but they did. If we wanted anything we had to go find our waitress, she didn't refill our drinks ever while we dined. The sushi also wasn't the best quality as we felt sick after for a little. And the waitress seemed annoyed every-time she talked to us.
google avatar

Thomas A.

Yelp
My wife are here on December 15th and became violently ill with food poisoning. Apparently this restaurant has a history of this looking at other reviews as well as health code violations. Just be aware, I'd hate to see anyone else get that sick.
google avatar

Amir B.

Yelp
High quality and delicious all you can eat sushi restaurant (dinner). Nice staff and atmosphere. I am not a Sushi person but I will definitely go back there. All you can eat sushi with 25$. You can order couple of times and they will bring fresh Sushi, hibachi and appetizers. If there was a leftover they will charge you for that (honestly I like that). There is a salad bar available with cake, cream, salad, Japanese mix and ice cream. My quality score is as follows: Sushi (4/5) Hibachi chicken and steak (3.5/5) Salad bar (3/5) Consider the low price my overall score would be 4/5.
google avatar

Jade R.

Yelp
Amazing sushi!! Their chipotle mayo sauce was so good, too. Staff was very nice. overall, going here was an enjoyable experience
google avatar

Abeer H.

Yelp
The sushi was pretty good. The hibachi was terrible. To be honest, I would have given them a 3 star had the food been fresh.

Yelp
I had heard so much hype about this place so hopefully this review can help manage your expectations -- first, I would definitely advise you to join the waiting even before arriving. My husband and I waited more than the 45 min we were quoted when we first got there. Second, allow time between orders. We essentially did a round of appetizers -- Kani salad, crab rangoon, a basic California roll -- and then I ordered 2 specialty sushi rolls and they literally took 20 minutes to come to the table. By that time, I wasn't hungry anymore and couldn't finish them so we did get charged extra for that. My husband loved his hibachi but they misunderstood his second order which left him with more food than he could eat and another charge. We definitely learned what not to do if we return. Another note -- don't expect a ton of variety in the sushi rolls. There's only about 5 types of raw fish used, along with crab and shrimp. Most of the rolls have a deep fried aspect and there's not very much actual meat used in the rolls.
