Sushi Box

The atmosphere, food, and service are always fantastic whenever we visit Sushi Box. We got the Heart Attack appetizer, the nigiri rice bowl (Chitari or something? I’m forgetting the name on the menu), and a Spider-Man and Grinch sushi rolls. The portions were large and we brought home leftovers. I was also sat next to the Open sign and the neon flashing was starting to give me a migraine so we asked the owner if he would mind turning it to a solid light while we were there and he agreed to do so, no questions asked. We were checked in on multiple times and felt very taken care of. We will definitely be going back :)

Went back recently for the first time in a while. It was delightful! This place is a gem. Might be my favorite overall sushi place. The quality is better than anywhere else I can think of in Longmont or Boulder. Incredible value as well. I could barely finish it all, but it was too good not to devour completely. Great vibes and a cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

WOW. This is absolutely the best sushi in Longmont. First off, service is wonderful, very attentive and knowledgeable. The sushi, just WOW. We got spicy tuna, shrimp tempura roll, and ruby red roll. Also have had their nagiri which was delightful. Everything is very flavorful and they do not skimp at all on fish. I haven’t had sushi like this since living in Hawaii. This is definitely the spot. Sake is great. We will be back. Was $70 for three rolls, a sake carafe plus a half bottle of sake

What a fantastic place! The owners clearly care about the food and their customers. My family truly enjoyed the whole experience. The curry special was great, as was the sushi rolls and nigiri. The sake and Japanese whiskey were perfect and the kids enjoyed the ramune. We will be back soon!

Everything was so fresh and delicious! Tried the miso soup, vegetable tempura, spiderman roll, 3 amigos roll, and the salmon, tuna, yellow fin sushi burrito! Friendly and fast service

I have been looking for a good sushi place in Longmont for the last few years. I recently moved to the west side of town and decided to finally give Sushi Box a try. Let me tell you, it is never disappointing I always get fresh fish at a reasonable price. I have been ordering pretty much every other week since I moved to the west side of town in April. The owner has gone so far as to notice me and make sure my order is perfect and I am so appreciative of that. They're usually closed the month of September and I was so sad the whole month because I just wanted Sushi Box. This place is unique and the service is spectacular.

Great, top notch sashimi and rolls, and the Egg Drop soup is ridiculously good😋 Guess chef/owner Tu has been perfecting the recipe for decades. Best sushi in Longmont. Cute spot, great food, nice sake selection and the owners are super nice! What's not to love🥰

Sushi Box is hands down the best place for sushi in town! The food is incredible and the people are the absolute best! It's also warm and inviting when you're there. I'm so grateful I found this place. They are amazing!

Went here for the first time to celebrate after an interview. Was really wanting some sushi but my dog had been cooped up all day, so I was glad to find a spot with a dog friendly patio! We got miso soups, too much sashimi (so thick, so fresh and yummy) and a roll. All of it was delicious! When they saw how jealous my dog was of our meal they brought her a little bit of fish too which was so sweet. Will definitely be coming back!

They got a liquor license. Don't forget to ask about Japanese whisky. Good is still consistent and now that winter returned, it's time for egg drop soup. The hot oil is good in the soup too but start with a drop.

Great sushi on my neighborhood! Small but cozy spot with great service and amazing owners! I find it hard to go to other places because this place is that good! Heart attack, pork egg rolls and egg drop soup are great appetizers, dragon rolls are the way to go!

Wow. Everything about sushi box is incredible. From the esthetic to the sushi, it is probably the freshest fish I have had in Colorado ever. Small family owned restaurant who really care about their customers.. thank you

Went here tonight for my birthday- truly one of the dining experiences I've had in awhile. Amazing service and great food!! Cannot wait to go back. Super cozy atmosphere, everyone in my party enjoyed!

Really fun place to go that's very welcoming. Sat ourselves (next to a family with their two small dogs...ha!). Had a good selection of Japanese beers. Ordered the Boat and it was easy too much for two people. The portions were much larger than many other places. But delicious!

The Sushi Box is a small place on the north side of Longmont which I tried as I was curious and nearby. I ordered a lunch special for about 22 bucks which is about right for Sushi and got a Spider Roll and 2 pieces of Salmon Nigiri Sushi. The Spider roll was good and crunchy with the right flavors but my salmon nigiri was not as butter as I thought it should be. I eat a lot of sushi and have a high bar so the place was ok but not great.

I just received my delivery from Sushi Box. Staying at the Candlewood Suites, Longmont Colorado. GrubHub was fine. I ordered a Spiderman roll, 4 pieces tuna nigiri, 2 pieces yellowtail nigiri. The food is not good. I stopped eating it after 2 tuna, 1 yellowtail, and 2 pieces of the roll. Nigiri looked dull, kind of dry, tasteless vs funky. Roll also bland vs a bite just really off. I rarely send reviews. I don't even know if it is actually yellowtail. Basically the worst sushi I have had. Very disappointing. I am too tired to search for another place for dinner.

Not a bad place, but you can tell their quality of fish is not that great. Would maybe go again my son enjoyed the sushi burrito. Some of the specialty rolls were good, but the plain rolls like spicy tuna lacked quality..

My wife and I ordered takeout here for the first time. Wow! Definitely the best sushi rolls that we've had in Longmont. Super fresh and flavorful. Very high quality. Wasn't a huge fan of the egg rolls, a bit too bready. But the main attraction was the sushi rolls. Definitely making this a regular.

My wife and I needed a quick lunch and we thought sushi would be good. Check the reviews on this restaurant and we thought it was worth giving it a try. We only had 30 minutes we told him when we walked in he immediately served us took our orders, and we were able to make it to our appointment in plenty of time. The best part about it was the sushi! I have paid more for a lot less. This place was excellent! Very fresh, clean, and very nice amount of food for the money. My wife likes salmon rolls, but she doesn't like them raw so they grilled the salmon for her which she requested and then made her a regular salmon roll. A lot of places won't even consider it but they were happy to do it. We are definitely adding this to our list of favorites

This place is so great! I'd been passing it by, thinking it was a chain but it's not and the owners are so sweet and helpful! We love the sushi burritos and have tried some sake drinks and appetizers too. Everything has been delicious and quick. Inside is small but cute and there's also a nice patio area. Definitely would recommend!

My sister took me to this great restaurant while visiting her in Longmont. Owned by husband and wife (who was rolling sushi). They were super friendly and attentive. The place super cozy, great service and the food was amazing!!

Great sushi! Just sushi and all kinds of sushi from traditional to modern. Fresh tasting, because owner Jason has a very good seafood distributor. NOT fishy-tasting or slimy. As fresh as a land-locked state like Colorado can have. I ordered the Combo B. It was a sushi boat plate with an 8 piece salmon avocado roll, 5 piece nigiri (chef's choice) a small green salad and miso or egg drop soup. It was wonderful. The salmon avocado roll had 8 good sized pieces and the chef chose 5 different cuts of fish. It was excellent. My Dad ordered the Tempura Roll with crunchy shrimp. He said that he didn't have a big appetite, and when the huge roll was placed in front of him, he forgot about that. The roll was beautiful and large. The soups miso or egg drop, were both very satisfying and delightfully warm on a very cold December night. Jason, a former nurse, was very attentive and a really cool guy, and his wife Sudevahn (I'm sure it's spelled differently) makes the Sushi. If you've been there in the past, know that it's under new management and they are trying to maintain the atmosphere that the restaurant had before they bought it. I don't know what it WAS like, but they are such a warm and welcoming pair. The restaurant is more visible in the winter after the leaves have fallen, but it's between the car wash and 17th. It might get hidden behind the trees in the summer, This restaurant is a really good bet for enjoying sushi... GO! Tempura roll, crunchy shrimp wine available

Sushi Box is the only restaurant in Longmont that I am aware of that has sushi burrito on the menu. I went and I tried, but it was a disappointment. For one I couldn't really tell what were all the ingredients wrapped inside the rice burritos. I ordered one with tempura shrimp and I did not taste anything remotely resembled shrimp or anything that was crunchy. Perhaps this is not their thing. Will I go again, may be for something else? I am not sure.

This was our first time at Sushi Box and it won't be our last! Delicious fresh sushi and fabulous hosts. A big variety menu with something for everyone and every budget. Thank you for a. quality experience.

Finding good sushi in Longmont is like finding a needle in a haystack. Coming from the east coast, sushi is my life and it is my mission to find all the good sushi in Colorado. Well if you are in the mood for good sushi, I suggest going to Sushi Box! There are plenty of rolls to choose from but I think that the burritos are a pretty good deal. The burritos are packed with different toppings and it is massive! But if you are more of a roll person, I highly suggest trying the Lady in Red or the Spiderman roll. I might be biased but rolls with soft shell crab are far more superior! Anyways, I love this cute little restaurant run by the sushi chef and her husband. The service is always great and the food is even better!

This is my husband and I's go-to sushi spot. The owners are always extremely friendly, and service is unmatched. We are slowly working our way through the menu, and I don't think we have encountered a food item that we don't enjoy.

Sushi Box is my favorite place to get sushi in Colorado. I order carry out regularly from here because they are fast and have delicious sushi at a fair price. My favorite is their sushi combo: 5 pieces of nigiri (with huge cuts of fish), a sushi roll, salad and soup for $20. I've tried other sushi in Longmont and Sushi Box is superior in quality and taste.

You get what you pay for! This is the best quality sushi I've ever had in Colorado. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. The chili oil is amazing but not for those without a high spice tolerance. I'm more than willing to make the 40 minute drive to come here.

This place is amazing. Family owned and operated and the care to customer service is by far the best in Longmont in the 5 years we have lived here. This is absolutely me and my wife's favorite spot! Great food good people, great ambiance and the food is incredible! The sushi is of course to die for but the egg rolls, soups, and other items are all so good! It will take us quite some time to carve through this menu but we are up for the challenge! Such a wonderful experience from top to bottom! Highly recommend!

Adorable little restaurant in Longmont we found shortly after moving to Colorado and let me tell you!!! You have to try this place! It's ran by such a sweet couple. The wife makes the sushi and not only is she adorable but her food is magical. We've made this place our little date night place because they don't have a lot of options for kids menu especially if your kiddo doesn't like sushi like ours doesn't, just a heads up. Don't get me wrong we LOVE, LOVE this place! The husband comes out and talks to everyone, he is very kind and likable so the service is great. The decor inside is very pretty which makes it perfect for date night.

LOVE this restaurant for so many reasons! The food is absolutely amazing in quality and flavor, and the menu has great variety. The owners are super personable and down to earth and take care of the guests as if each person is a friend of theirs. The environment is clean and organized and decorated very nicely. Overall a 10/10 restaurant, 6 stars if I could give that!

Hmm this place is a little on the pricy side. I'm not sure what I expected but the sushi is ok. When I come to Colorado I could never find a sushi spot I enjoy. The sashimi was Almost frozen . The rolls were good. The waitress was super kind . It was a decent experience. The only thing is if you order separately make sure you tell them to separate your food . They will put it all in one plate.

Best sushi in the Longmont area, hands down. The owner is really passionate and can educate you deeply on their fantastic Sake collection. We went here for my birthday and they handled the group well, no mistakes in the order, and we didn't feel rushed at all. Plus, they play the best jazz music!

Found our favorite place for sushi in NoCo! We've been a couple times and the food is amazing, service is spot on and, frankly, you feel appreciated for coming in. 6 out of 5 stars for Sushi Box!

Came here after a day of snowboarding in breck and heading home to Cheyenne. Originally from california it is hard to find decent and trustworthy sushi out here but I absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere alone was adorable! I loved the decor and vibes the place gave off. Also knowing that it's a husband and wife running this place was such an awesome piece of information because I love supporting local businesses! I work here in Longmont and plan on revisiting many times. The fish on the sushi alone was amazing. Their veggie tempura was so yummy and fresh and they get their veggies and sprouts locally from the farms! Super cool! I love this place would highly recommend it. The husband was the one that served us and told us all the fun little facts and it just made me love this place more!

I was deeply traumatized by how my elderly mother, a person of color, was harassed and intimidated by the white manager and a tall older male white patron for simply making a menu suggestion to the owner. We were thrown out and banned, they threatened to call the police, while we were about to peacefully leave. My mother then had to use the bathroom, and the older white customer blocked her path, got in her face and yelled at her that she could not even use the bathroom there. Management did not intervene in this menacing harassment of my mother by their own customer. This would not have happened to an elderly white lady. If you are socially conscious at all, do not eat here. They are not fit to run a restaurant, and their behavior reflects that. Overpriced and mediocre quality at best anyway.

Lovely place! Family owned and operated restaurant. The service was phenomenal. We felt well taken care and our food came out fairly fast. The location had a lovely ambiance, we enjoyed the artwork and the lighting. The food was great!! We received decent sized portions, and it tasted amazing! Will definitely go again.

Lovely mom and pop sushi place. People are wonderful and the food was fantastic. Great date night experience
