"This omakase spot has locations around the country that all stick to the same basic business model: good enough sushi served at a breakneck pace for a price that makes it hard to get mad at some of the meal’s shortcomings (like gummy rice and spotty service). Fort Lauderdale’s Sushi By Bou doesn’t deviate from that plot. It’s located in a small private room above Salt7, and you’ll sit at a counter with about 10 other people between a kaleidoscope of disco balls and pop art. Go for the $60 12-course option, which won’t stuff you to the gills, but will leave you satisfied and with enough energy to go bar hopping after you’re done (your meal should take almost exactly one hour). Excellent place for a fun night in Las Olas, great cocktails followed by an exquisite omakase! The $60 omakase is more than enough, though we had the $125 bougie version. The upcharge is not worth it. But highly recommended this place for great sushi, friendly staff and a fun night!

Came out here to celebrate a birthday and Sushi by Bou has been on my list for a while and have to give credit to the superb marketing and advertising for this restaurant. I've seen Instagram ads that showcase the delicious omakase line up, and advertisements at local events like beer and food festivals so they've done a great job of keeping me reminded to check out this spot. I originally tried to book for the Wynwood location but they were filled 3 weeks out and wanted to use a special voucher that was offered for the 12 course omakase meal. Unfortunately, the voucher was only for the Wynwood location which sucks to find out at the front door because I had purchased the voucher, then proceeded forward to completing the reservation which was not available. I explained to the front what happened and that I spoke to someone at Wynwood who communicated to me I would be able to redeem at the Fort Lauderdale location and this ended up working out, which really took the experience from a bit hectic to a relaxed and positive experience. Thank you team for helping to manage that out. As for the omakase experience, if you love sushi, you're going to love it here. It's a very good deal, and the vibe is laid back with a disco theme. It's a bit small, tucked away on the third floor of the Salt 7 building. If you don't have any plans and want to stay after, they have space in the back which is a lounge area to enjoy drinks. If you do have to get going, just let the team know and they'll be glad to assist you with getting your check. Great sushi, incredible value, and don't forget to have a reservation ready. They only seat about 8 - 10 people inside.

Been here 3 times now and every single time it’s a HIT. We love the vibe, the food, the service, the deal! The servers are friendly and the sushi chefs always provide a great experience. Definitely a favorite go to.

Absolutely a five-star, must-experience adventure! Jeff and Jordan are simply incredible, radiating an infectious energy that transforms the atmosphere. Their vibrant personalities make every moment enjoyable, but it’s their culinary skills that truly steal the show. Each dish they create is a masterpiece, showcasing their passion and talent as chefs. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and excited. Jeff and Jordan’s enthusiasm is contagious, and their ability to engage with guests is unmatched. The whole experience is not just a meal; it's a delightful journey filled with laughter, creativity, and exceptional food. I can’t recommend this experience enough—I’ll definitely be returning again and again. If you’re looking for an unforgettable culinary adventure, look no further!

Nestled inside Salt 7 on Las Olas, take an elevator up to my fave sushi destination. It's an omakase experience and when I say experience that's what you get every time. First time I went we went for the 12 course at $65 per person. It's one piece of per course created by sushi chefs Jordan and Jeff. It was plenty of food but we did end up ordering an extra hand roll for $10. Last night, my husband took me there for Valentine's Day and splurged for the 17 course. Each piece created by my two fave sushi chefs was created with love and passion. I've always stuck to the same rolls and was always afraid to try new things. Sushi by Bou took me out of my comfort zone and I will never look back at the boring me again.

Google
We stumbled upon this place while visiting the local area. It was excellent! Basically it’s like a disco speakeasy interactive sushi restaurant. They only serve 10 people at a time at the sushi bar. Two chefs making everything fresh. We did the 17 course sushi menu and it was exceptional! They play loud fun music the entire time and everyone is encouraged to sing into two karaoke microphones if they like. The atmosphere is very trendy and fun. The two sushi chefs interact with you and explain each dish as delivered. Our Meal lasted about 75 minutes. Drinks and extra orders of sushi cost extra. Overall a little pricey but the experience is worth it for at least one visit. Definitely a little hidden gym down off Las Olas Blvd.

Google
Hands down, WOW! They definitely spoiled sushi for me. How does one go back to a regular sushi restaurant. Not only do you see, but you taste the quality of their fish. Every piece of sushi was a work or art and delicious.

Google
We had such a good time with this omakase experience! I love that you can watch the chefs make each roll in front of you and everything was so delicious. The service was incredible from the drinks to the sushi and the sake shots, they make sure you have a good time. The disco music playing was also such a fun touch! Would definitely come back again

Yelp
I looove omakase, but omakase is usually a cha-ching foodie adventure! To find this secret spot, you must enter Salt 7 and walk through it to catch the elevator or stairs to the 3rd floor where you'll locate this speakeasy-style, 10-seat bar with 2 master sushi chefs making 12-courses à la minute for only $60! IYKYK and if you're ITK, you know that Sushi by Bou is where it's at for premium, traditional omakase on-the-cheap, which includes delicacies like wagyu, sea urchin and Golden Goat osetra caviar. And if you DM VIP to @Sushi By Bou, then this 60-minute experience is only $50 per person. You can upgrade to their bougie menu for add-on courses or order additional pieces a la carte if you want more and be sure to request their Big Mac to finish. It's a Disco Sushi vibe with specialty cocktails, flights of sake and a sushi show to an energetic playlist. When your time is up, you can take your drinks to 3 private lounge areas and finish at your leisure or order more cocktails and make it a night. Putting the OOOHHH in Omakase, this hidden gem is a "worth it" discovery.

Yelp
$60 Omakase? Why yes, please! At Sushi by Bou, you won't have to break the bank to enjoy a 12-course experience. From the minute you walk in, you know you're in for a treat. It's a small space above Salt 7 but still very comfortable. The vibe is disco and high energy. The crowd is super friendly but the sushi masters are really the stars of the show beside the Omakase. Just leave the feeding to them, from different nigiri, unis, and more. The quality if very good considering the price so don't be discouraged. My favorites were the Hotate, Ikura, Unagi, Wagyuni, and the Gindara but I'll you judge for yourself when you go. For cocktails, I recommend the Old Fashioned Pearl and one of the High Balls but the bartender pretty much can make anything you want. I enjoyed my visit here. The staff was very polite and accommodating. I especially love the interactions between the guests and the 2 sushi masters. They were both very entertaining. This is a perfect spot if you dont want to spend a lot money and time. The omakase experience lasts for about 2 hours which is perfect if you dont want to stay out too late or have another place planned after dinner.

Veronica P.

Yelp
The quality of the food is fresh, the flavors are tasty, and the chefs, bartenders, and servers really elevate the experience with their friendliness and honest recommendations. Thank you all! Overall, Sushi by Bou proved to be a wonderful omakase experience. They offer a 12 course and 17 course option, which are cheaper from other omakases around. The catch with the price isn't on the quality of the food, but on the time limit of your experience. With both options, you are given 1 hour total in seat. They do allow you to hang around in the lounge area before and after your meal for pre-dinner drinks or to finish your desserts/post-dinner drinks. Keeping that in mind, I recommend arriving to your reservation a bit early so you can do just that and not feel too rushed.

Yelp
We had such a good time with this omakase experience! I love that you can watch the chefs make each roll in front of you and everything was so delicious. The service was incredible from the drinks to the sushi and the sake shots, they make sure you have a good time. The disco music playing was also such a fun touch! Would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Came here for the famous Tuna Carving by chef bou. What an experience!! Standing room only this vip experience has the wow factor. $125 pp includes around 4 sake shots other drinks are optional. Also includes various sushi rolls and lots of fresh raw Tuna from the Carving. Thry carve the Tuna infront of you and serve it. It's delicious and so fresh. They also play great music and it's Interactive. The chefs and Staff have a blast while working. You even get to carve some Tuna with the chef by your side. This is a special occasion place, great for birthdays or a date. It's exclusive and limited to only those that reserve ahead of time. Go cute, but you will be smelling like Tuna when you leave so hair back suggested and clothes you don't mind getting a sprinkle of Tuna juice . Lol. Its fun do it!

Ashleigh S.

Yelp
This is definitely a go all out date night location! The music, the intimate interior, ways the chefs interact with you was all a unique experience. Not to mention every piece of food was phenomenal. We were so stuffed by the end of the night, we didn't get a chance to "ask about their Big Mac" and the fomo haunts me forever.

Eddie S.

Yelp
This is a must for all my sushi lovers The service the food the ambiance is all chefs kiss! Thank you Heather and Chef Daniel for my making my sister's birthday a memorable experience

Maleka H.

Yelp
Finding this little gem is a 007 mission, but once you get there the ambiance is just so intimate, chill and hip. The Omakase experience had great variety of delicious selection, I enjoyed the Sea Bass, Toro and Scallops immensely, everything was truly chef's kiss. The chefs were so friendly and funny. Great experience can't wait to go back.

Mariah M.

Yelp
Can't get enough of this location, this will be our 5th time in the last few years. The chefs are out of this world and the quality of food is truly outstanding. From start to finish you will be in for an absolute treat. The fish is so fresh, ingredients really awaken your senses. Highly recommend coming and trusting chef Jeff & chef Jordan. They were my first omakase 3 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. Celebrated our 12th anniversary tonight, thank you to the sushi by bou team for a phenomenal experience.

Kathryn P.

Yelp
This was hands down the most fun omakase I've ever been to. We took up each seat at the sushi bar and each had the chefs selection omakase with craft drinks from the bar. With the omakase and drinks the total still ended up being reasonable for the quality we received. The chefs made it such a fun atmosphere letting our friend torch the wagyu nigiri and even had a karaoke mic to pass around. I would HIGHLY recommend for a birthday, promotion dinner celebration, or any get together with friends. After dinner there is a back room you can continue to order drinks to while the next seating arrives so it didn't feel rushed. Next time you are in Fort Lauderdale check them out!!!!

Yelp
Located in Salt7, check in with the front desk and the host will lead you upstairs to the "disco room.." Upon coming, we arrived to a disco, hipster theme vibe, where there was disco balls, amazing decor with nice touches from the chairs to the art on the wall.. The dinner lasted for about 1 hour as that was the time slot we had, the omakase experience was worth it! It's $125+ per person for 17 pieces, & cocktails $17 each.. If you haven't read the other reviews yet, order the BIG MAC, as that comes with a little bit of everything in one bite! It had uni, toro, & scallop for an additional $30.. my top favorite nigiri had to be the toro and sake "salmon," I personally loved the truffle oil on that as they seasoned it on most of it! The starter salad that they had was truly delicious! They also had some of the sushi torched... I loved how everything melted in my mouth just from one bite. There's a cocktail lounge as well as a private room where you can enjoy dessert and more cocktails as well as take some cute pictures. Truly a night to remember! Jordan the main chef was really fun & entertaining! As well as the other chefs Tim & chef Jeff.. The chefs had us laughing all night!! They made us feel like so welcomed and we were having the best time. You would need to book in advance as seating does fill up quick!

Yelp
Great Experience, Great Food. Last seating of the night on a Wednesday and the Bougie experience and food were both phenomenal. Did the tasting experience with 16 courses. Each one was different and unique. I had the opportunity to have my meal prepared by Chef Jeff, who is the curator of the experience and he shared his inspiration comes from the guest themselves. Giving feedback and sharing what resonates with them and what sparks their plate. Each course took me on a journey that left me anticipating the next. I had some favorites (I will refrain from sharing, as our plates are all different). The Bougie Experience is one worth trying.

Jose M.

Yelp
As soon as the elevator door opened we entered into a private room that featured awesome wall decor, good music, a sushi bar with 8 seats, and a small a waiting area with table for cocktails while waiting before your Omakase experience. I tried the tequila drink with guava syrup and it was delicious! Once we started the chefs were engaging, informative, and entertaining. The food tasted fresh, delicious, and was prepared right in front of your eyes. It was an amazing dining experience at a great price. Strongly recommend.

Dorothea P.

Yelp
I am a FAN! This is my kind of spot. This place is small which means you need to make a reservation. There are a total of 8 seats at the bar. When you get there it is a little hard to find because you actually have to walk into Salt7 and then go up the elevator to the 3rd floor. When I got in I got seated at a lunge area and was able to order a drink. I had a dirty martini to start the night. Once everyone was there we got seated at the bar. The two chefs were amazing they were kind and would explain everything. They def made the experience. It's awesome when someone is there and they are having a good time. Our waitress was also super funny, attentive, and on top of it. Overall, it is going to be hard for me to go for sushi anywhere else.

Ariel U.

Yelp
Located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, you enter Salt 7 and take an elevator up to the third floor. On the third floor, you enter a bar area where they offer cocktails before the seating. I really enjoyed the setup. It was super upbeat with fun music, much different from any omakase experience I've encountered before. I brought my husband here for his birthday dinner, and boy were we impressed. We opted for the bougie omakase experience. Let me put it this way, he was begging to go back not even a month later. The bougie experience includes 17 courses. They start with milder flavors and progress toward richer and more powerful pieces of sushi. Buckle up because your tastebuds are in for a delicious ride. My favorite pieces included the japanese striped jack, scallop, and amberjack. This was a great experience with very knowledgeable chefs.

Jessica F.

Yelp
Loved this omakase spot!! I went on the weekday and they offer a 12 course omakase tasting for $60 which I was impressed by. You really can't beat the price. Each piece is very unique and full of flavor. Mu personal favorites was the miso cod and scallop. It's a speakeasy atmosphere and the decor was so cute. The chefs were interactive and explained what each course was. Would definitely go back especially for the price!!

Jennifer Q.

Yelp
Just wow! I can't believe this place has been opened for some time and I have not checked it out until now. This is right up my alley- great vibes and initimate space. We had a reservation at 10 and waited in the lobby area where we had delicious cocktails. My favorite was the discorita. While waiting we observed the guests who were seated enjoying a fun game of karaoke, I couldn't help but sing along! After the party left, we were seated and no other guests came so it felt like a private dinning experience. The staff were super attentive and shout out to the sushi chef Jordan! Such a great personality and added to our experience. I loved that I didn't have to pick anything, and every single thing I ate was amazing! I don't even know if I have a favorite because I loved it all. I have to come back, this place is a gem.

Robyn L.

Yelp
The aesthetics of this place has to be my favorite. It's a disco, pop-art themed speakeasy. The staff was super friendly. I'm not big on sushi but there were many options. A 12-course meal is included with VIP Omakase experience.

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
With an intimate/speakeasy vibe and delicious sushi, Sushi by Bou provides you the ultimate omakase experience! You enter though Salt7 and take an elevator to the 3rd floor. Once you check in, you wait in the lounge until the customers at the bar are done with their meal. We got there before our seating time and sat down after it. They offer their standard 12 course omakase and you can upgrade it to their 17 course if you choose. Each course serves you a piece of nigiri. Once seated, you're greeted by the chefs and the servers/bartenders/host (everyone just kind of does everything) comes around offering water and check in to see if you want to order any other beverages. All this happens while the chefs are preparing your first course. Everything was really fresh, and every course was great. It was so amazing to sit and watch the preparation of each course, how each piece of fish is tucked into the rice. It truly is a form of art and so wonderful to watch your meal be created. Check them out if you get a chance!

Celi H.

Yelp
Dinner date night with hubby for our first ever Omakase Experience! A one hour long intimate chef's choice experience. Shout out to our chef Daniel! He was amazing and is super talented with his creations. My husband and I were so pleased with the entire experience! What we had: Bullet Old Fashion Sake 12 Piece Omakase Experience

Jo-Klisslyne R.

Yelp
Omg! I can't emphasize enough how amazing our experience was. We came to celebrate my daughters birthday party and everything was just beautiful. The ambiance of is cozy and fun! The drinks were amazing! Highly recommend their old fashion and gin & flowers! Then their sushi ! No other place will compare! Absolutely delicious! I wish I took more pictures but also wanted to enjoy the moment! The service was amazing as well! I can't wait to come back!

Britney G.

Yelp
5/5 Unique dining experience. The ambiance was perfect for date night. Our drinks were tasty. Our sushi chef was Tim and he was great. We stepped out of our comfort zones and throughly enjoyed each item. I was blown away by the flavors each round. I am so happy I came across Sushi by Bou on TikTok I had an amazing time! I definitely recommend if you love sushi or looking to expand your palette.

Mariya K.

Yelp
Loved this place . The upside it's more of an upbeat spot where you get your food very quickly and don't have to wait versus some omakase where the experience is a bit of a longer wait . All depends what you're looking for . The ambiance is cute quaint little bar on the top of salt7. Fish was all fresh and had some unexpected twists. I would be back .

Julia D.

Yelp
This place deserve 10/10 stars. The service = impeccable I love the staff and the sushi chefs had us laughing the entire time. The sushi = I'm forever changed and probably will never enjoy sushi from another restaurant after this place. Vibes = on point, love the retro decor and the 80s bangers playing throughout the night. This was my second visit here and I'll say both were very different because the week before I attended their 12 course omakase blindfolded event and because my senses were heightened it made the tasting experience all the better. So when I came for their regular 17 course omakase I know I was in for a good time and better food. I will say 17 pieces of sushi is excessive so definitely if you're eager to try head out to their 12 piece dinning event. Oh and don't skimp out on sitting at the bar you'll have a better time there interacting with the chefs during your dinning experience rather than sitting at a table. Lastly if you wanna try to get the whole place to yourself make a reservation for 5pm. Myself and my two friends had the whole place to ourselves.

Eric T.

Yelp
Great experience thanks to the chefs Jordan and Jeff. They were personable and entertaining. And honestly, really enjoyed watching them create each piece. We did the bougie experience (17 pcs). Each piece was incredibly delicious. Very high quality fish, and interesting variety. Was concerned we would still be hungry but left very satisfied. Will definitely return!

Colleen H.

Yelp
I'm hesitant to review it because it's so good I want to keep it to myself! First things first, you have to make a reservation and you have to arrive on time! They sit everyone at the counter & serve everyone each course at the same time. The atmosphere & decor is super cool! Very Instagram worthy. It's a speakeasy style so it's hidden above Salt 7 and it has a secret desert room in the back. I can't say enough about the food. It's top tier.

Samantha E.

Yelp
So different from other omakase experiences ive been to. Speakeasy style entrance on the third floor of Salt7 the experience only seats 10 people at a time with a small seating area and bar in the same room. if you come early (which they encourage) youll be in a small and a little crowded area sipping cocktails and watching the previous guests finish their meals. Unlike the quaint and and informative journeys ive had before this is a much more relaxed environment. There is music playing and this space encourages you to have fun! The chefs will match the energy of the room, theyll laugh and joke and dance with you all while dishing out these beautiful bites. 17 courses. As much raw ginger and accoutrements as asked for. and you can finish your night in the disco room for dessert and cocktails to wind down. Great way to start your night!

Michelle F.

Yelp
Upstairs, inside Salt 7 is a very cool Omakase experience. When you find the elevator to go upstairs to a retro style speakeasy, the décor is really cool, which makes this place a great place to put on a bucket list. I have to say that I was not super impressed, but I also set the bar so high. I expected to have my socks knocked off, and I walked out feeling good but not 5*'s. I am a sushi foodie, and though this sushi was super fresh, but it seemed like I had a lot of the same fish prepared a little differently. Great, but I was hoping to try things I had only heard about. Upon arrival upstairs, we were guided to the bar to wait for our sushi bar seats. Once seated, our service was good. You can even get carbonated Voss water for only $8.00 for a bottle, which gives you 2 glasses. I don't remember the names of the 2 guys that prepared the tastings, but they were good at telling us the name of the sashimi that they were serving us. FYI, They don't serve Wasabi or soy sauce, which makes this a truly authentic sushi experience. We sat at the bar with a group seating of 10 people. The experience goes by so quickly that I almost felt rushed, and if I didn't take pictures, I wouldn't remember the 17 items I tasted. They offer a choice of tasting 12 or 17 menu items. Weirdly, the couple that sat next to us told us they paid for the 12 piece experience, and we paid for the 17 piece but we all got the same amount, which was a little discouraging in value for experience. Wonder what I would get if next time I made a reservation for the 12 piece menu. ;) I have to say, the sushi is a little more unique if you want to take the next step from the usual California roll neighborhood spot but there can be a little sticker shock if you don't have a yolo attitude when you make your reservation.

Katelyn E.

Yelp
incredible experience & food. I have thoroughly enjoyed taking my friends and family here for birthdays and celebrations. Never had a bad experience and have always left 110% satisfied.

Destiny V.

Yelp
What an amazing find!! Chef Jeff and Jordan are a delightful duo. Knowledgeable and extremely professional. Great sushi join that has a set menu that changes and they serve you table side. Come try them out !

Annelour T.

Yelp
The sushi was so fresh, melt in your mouth. The service was phenomenal and the ambiance was what we needed for the night...Eating sushi while singing karaoke, what more can you ask for? Jeffrey and Daniel our sushi chef had great energy to match the disco speak easy theme. Omikase plus speak easy! Love love love!

Anastasiya E.

Yelp
I've experienced many Omakase dinners, but this one surpasses them all. It wasn't just the exceptional dishes; it was also the remarkable people behind them. Tonight's Omakase dinner was the most enjoyable I've ever had. The ambiance, music, food, chefs, and staff were absolutely phenomenal! EJ, Angel, Daniel, and Jordan delivered not only some of the best Omakase but also an incredible atmosphere and positive vibes. This establishment prioritizes not just serving a great dinner but ensuring that guests have a blast. I can't wait to return!

Anthony W.

Yelp
Please forgive me, I usually list all my food ! I truly get upset when people take the time to write a review but don't list the food. However tonight I am that guy! Please just let the pictures guide you through my experience. This is a 100 out of 10 , the apple to my eye , the wind to my wings. I could could on and on. This is by far one of the most memorable and Devine experiences of my life. I don't want to brag but I have dined all over the world in many countries and this meal stands out as one of our favorites. The Chefs Jordan and Tim made this worth ever single red cent. The food was the freshest most tasteful I can remember having. From start to finish the experience was just something I can't get out of my mind. This was a special occasion for us ( 10 yr anniversary) and I don't want to say which I felt was more memorable! I want the Yelp world to know about this place but I don't . I love to share stuff like this but I would also like to keep this gem to myself. Thanks to all that made this night one to remember. From Toyah helping get our reservations to both Chefs for the meal of a lifetime! Cheers . Live laugh and eat it raw !

Yelp
If I could give this 10 starts I would. It was so fun getting to chat with the chefs while they prepared the courses. They were cutting all the piece fresh, which personally I've never seen even when sitting at a sushi bar. Every course was amazing. The fish was so fresh and flavorful. I did the sake pairing with my sushi and it was great. I typically don't enjoy sake, but I really enjoyed the flight and there was only one sake that I wasn't a huge fan of. At the end, you have the option to purchase additional hand rolls - which despite being stuffed, I couldn't help myself and had to order an addition notate roll. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This was amazing. It lived up to the hype to say the least. I got the bougie experience which was about $120 dollars for 17 pieces of sushi and a sake. My boyfriend got the $60 basic experience which was 12 pieces of sushi. I'm happy I got the bougie experience because I'm obsessed with sushi, but next time I will just get the basic. Our sushi chef was very personable and cared about our feedback on each of the pieces. The waitress also was very attentive on refilling our drinks. It was such an intimate experience as they only seat 8 people at the sushi bar. The quality of the sushi was the best I've ever had and I eat sushi multiple times a week for years. My boyfriend that usually doesn't like raw fish liked every single piece we tried! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Yelp
SUCH a fun experience! Best omakase I've had and the chefs are such a joy. The vibes are good and it was an all around 10/10 experience!

Yelp
A regimented but fun experience wherein the entire 10 diners are presented each course in a chorus line by the chef. Choices are selected by the chef exclusively, all omikase, and already expertly seasoned. No need to think, just eat and enjoy. Best among Ft Lauderdale sushi and expect some local mouth breathers to loudly wonder "where are the rolls?"--such clowns should go elsewhere, please!

Yelp
I've been here twice since they opened and had a great experience both times. Although it was the same menu, I found myself having new favorite dishes the second time around. There's only a limited number of seats so a reservation is a must. The entrance gives you a speakeasy vibe as you have to get to the restaurant via an elevator in the back of salt7. When you get upstairs, you're greeted and if there early sit and have drinks in their little lounge by the bar. Once dinner service is ready, you head to the bar and are served course by course. They provide you with a hand towel to clean your hands between each course as they recommend you eat with your hands. Everything I've had was great. They then take you to the disco room where you can have additional drinks and dessert.

Yelp
PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE. I was surprised a reservation here for Valentine's Day and they did not disappoint at all. The staff were extremely friendly even at the late night reservation and the food was immaculate. The ones behind the creations are some very talented chefs who know what they're doing. Every single piece was such a different experience than the one before but in the best way possible. The drinks are delicious and the ambiance is unforgettable. 100/10 would recommend for any special occasion.

Yelp
I stopped by for dinner and I can't wait to go back! The dinner was delicious, drinks were strong. My favorite was the Koko fizz (similar to a pina colda) over the discorita. I enjoyed the music and the overall vibe. It was my first time dining at a restaurant like this. The chefs were very knowledgeable!

Yelp
Small bar to try great omakase style sushi. Sushi was delicious, chefs were great. There is only bar seating available.

Yelp
If you are looking for a unique dining experience and want to enjoy the some of the freshest sushi than look no further. Sushi by Bou is upstairs of salt 7. From the moment you walk in you feel as though you are having a private dining experience. Staff is extremely attentive- best customer service I've received at a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. This spot is perfect for a girls night- decked out in neon pop art with good music and drinks. Came here with 2 of my gfs and had so much fun. Had a drink in the lounge area and then ate dinner at the bar. Fish was extremely fresh and delicious. The chefs were engaged and made the experience so fun. After dinner we went in the back to a smaller room where we enjoyed dessert. Great vibe and even better sushi.

Yelp
Where do I even begin. You walk into Salt7 and you have to find a sign that says powder room and then take the elevator up. You then go into a awesome smaller dining area with a bar and a sushi bar. Once the meal begins there's two options. We did the 17 course Omakase and wow was it just out of this world. The 2 chefs, Jordan & Jeff are preparing your dinner right in-front of you and are very interactive, fun, and funny. It was an amazing experience. They even accommodate for gluten allergies as my girlfriend has one. The food was an absolute 10/10 and possibly the best sushi I've had in America and that's coming from a New Yorker. Even their soy sauce was ridiculously amazing and it wasn't your regular soy sauce. They import fish from Spain and Japan to this place. You must check this place out!!!!!!

Yelp
Came to Sushi By Bou with a friend who made a reservation, and WOW (as an understatement). As a huge fan of speakeasies, Sushi By Bou is a hidden restaurant on the third floor of SALT7. It's an intimate multi-course omakase with incredibly fresh fish, delicious drinks, and great staff. Each seating is one hour and should you need additional time for dessert, more cocktails, and just to wind down, there is a separate room post-meal. To note: I'm a pescatarian. Only one course included wagyu beef. I ate it. It was delicious. No regrets.

Yelp
My boyfriend took me here as a surprise birthday dinner and going up the elevator, I didn't know what to expect but we were greeted by the cutest lounge/waiting area for the next session to begin. We took our seats at the bar after ordering some drinks and only had one other guy with us at the bar so it was a great, intimate dining experience. The chefs were knowledgeable and explained every roll they made. Watching them make the rolls was an art. And every single roll we ate was beyond amazing. There wasn't a single roll i didn't love. So much so, we even ordered more a la carte at the end! I would love to come back here again and definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or nice night out.

Yelp
Amazingly fun experience! Great chefs, freshly flown ingredients from Japan. It is pricey but totally worth it for an occasion!

Yelp
Amazing service and experience! You won't find anything like it especially for the price! The quality is top tier and the drinks were perfectly curated. I highly recommend this experience for a date night or even if you just want to get out and try something new. Comparable to my experiences in Japan.

Yelp
What a great night and even better Omakase experience. This is a small imitate speakeasy type venue with an awesome decor and excellent music. You have to enter through Salt 7 and take a little elevator to the 3rd floor. Once you get there you're greeted by the hostess and they check you in. We had a drink at the bar area while we waited for the group before us to finish. There are only 8 seats and the dinner is an hour. The dinner is 17 courses and will cost $125 per person + beverages. So after sitting our party of four, we were introduced to the sushi chefs, who were Jeff and Jordan aka Sushi Papi. These two also made the experience excellent! Friendly, funny, helpful, entertaining and interacted with us. We ordered the Sake flight, which you get 3 different kinds. The was $42. So, the dinner started with Snow Crab Sunomono. This was amazing. What a way to start...1 roll after another from this point! Just as you finish one and brag how good it was another one comes that is even better than the last. They time everything perfect and are very organized with the delivery of sushi. After we got to 17, we still wanted more! FYI - Most of the sushi is one biters. We paid $50 for the Big Mac/Mack Daddy! It's not part of the dinner so you have to pay extra. I'll post a pic! It was waaaaay worth it! Don't know if it's normally offered, you'll have to ask either Jeff or Jordan. What a way to end the dinner. One thing that was missing, which is just a personal preference, would have been to offer something sweet to end the meal. A dessert of some sort. Once we finished, we went to the disco room and ordered one more drink before taking off. 5 star experience! FYI - It will be expensive night! So if you aren't into high end Omakase then this might not be for you. We will be back for sure!

Yelp
Came here last night for dinner. Wow.. the service and food is amazing. Our chef was so down to earth, and really made our experience worth while. You will NOT leave there still hungry. They will make sure of it. Torched salmon was my favorite. Thank you! Cannot wait to come back!
