Yelp
Sushi Chiyo has good sushi at a great price, and customer service that leaves a lot to be desired.
They really don't care that you enjoy your meal there, everything is rushed and it feels like you are on constantly on their timeline. I get it, I've worked food service forever. I have dealt with people so awful that I've stared at the back of their heads, trying to get them to pop. But come on, you have to at least FEIGN that you give a cr*p when public facing. Even in the middle of the day, with no customers in. I usually have to ask for a glass of water, and sometimes even for soy sauce and chopsticks, they often won't serve you that automatically. They close at 10 pm, I came in at 9:31 p.m. on the dot and the host says they only offer to go. Okay cool, that being said, they have a full row of people sat in the booths, still actively being served full meals. This is the first time I've ever heard of this. I've been in multiple times right at 9:30 and have sat and ate just fine. It was kind of a slap in the face. I called prior to check the hours and no one answered, twice. And while waiting for my order, I watched the host and waitress acknowledge a phone call, laugh to each other about not taking it, and then walk to the other side of the room.
BONUS / CON (depending on who you are)
They play EXCLUSIVELY Taylor Swift
There is one server there who is always really sweet, and helpful, shout out to her! If I knew her name I would acknowledge her here.
TLDR: The sushi is pretty good, The prices are great though. Overall It's okay, but I'm begging for the owner to do a quality of life upgrade for their employees or something. So they can at least have the energy to pretend not to hate you
