Sushicho is always a great experience. The sushi is consistently fresh and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The service is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the dining experience even better. The wood-toned interior creates a cozy and warm atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great sushi and a comfortable dining environment!

Update: We tried the New Year’s sashimi, sushi, and roll special platter again enjoyed it yesterday. I’m so glad to say the quality was back to what we’ve always loved. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, just like we remembered. It really feels like the previous experience was just a one-time thing, and that’s such a relief. Sushi Cho has always been a place we enjoy and trust, and this visit reminded us why. We’re happy to be back and look forward to ordering again! — We have usually enjoyed ordering the special platter from Sushi Cho for special occasions. We’ve ordered it for Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and even last Christmas, and have always appreciated the quality. However, the special platter we ordered this Christmas ($199) was very disappointing. The quality was noticeably different from previous experiences, and some of the sushi and rolls had an unpleasant smell, to the point that we couldn’t eat them. Even the salmon, which has always been consistently good, had a slight odor this time. The sashimi quality was relatively better, but overall this platter did not meet the standard we have come to expect from Sushi Cho. We have always been grateful for your quality, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I’m not sure what happened, but I wanted to share this honest feedback. We hope this was just a one-time issue, and we truly hope to enjoy the quality we’ve come to expect from Sushi Cho again in the future.

Had dinner at Sushi Cho and the place was packed — clearly a local favorite! I ordered the hwe dup bap, and the portion was generous with very fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly and attentive, even refilling my tea right away. They also brought each guest a complimentary piece of sushi at the end — a nice surprise! The only downside was that the bowl looked a bit old and had some chipped edges, but everything else was excellent. I’ll definitely be back.

Our appetizer was on the pricier side, with just two pieces being around $9. I'd say the lunch platter was a great deal! Also, the sushi quality was superb. If you're considering a sushi place for a casual date or just to simply enjoy good sushi, I'd say this place is a great place to try.

The food varies in quality massively. The sushi rolls, I am told, were excellent. I ordered the beef and chicken teriyaki, and it arrived not sizzling, but room temperature. The vegetable tempura was bland, I didn't finish it. I left so much food behind because it was bland. Yay! We got free ice cream in exchange for room temperature teriyaki. Not sure it was a good exchange.

Fourth time busing Sushi Cho, delicious as always! My friend is not a sushi lover but also likes the food here Sushi Cho has the best and fresh sashimi in town! The chef also offered free salmon nigiri at the end:)

The food and the service was astonishing!!! It's so fresh and one of the best quality sushi I've had in the town! I think this place will be my go-to place.

Came here and was surprised by the selection of sushi options. The restaurant had parking lot. We were able to get table easily. Plenty of seating. The service was really attentive and sweet! The food was absolutely delicious. We got a bulgogi taco and katsu but the bulgogi taco was better since the other was kinda dry. We had miso soup and the classic salad as sides. We ordered chicken karage which was delicious - perfectly fried and the spicy sauce (chef kiss). I ordered salmon ninja without the avocado and it was so filling (nicely sized pieces and a lot). This may be my new favorite sushi place! Definitely will be back with friends. Overall wonderful experience. They had music that wasn't too loud and nicely lit.

Still one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the area. My favorites will always be sashimi and nigiri, especially salmon, tuna, and scallop, but sushi Cho has 100 different rolls. I got bonsai (salmon and spicy salmon wrapped in cucumber with spicy mayo and wasabi mayo), last samurai (spicy salmon with avocado and tuna on top), salmon ninja (salmon avocado roll with seared salmon and spicy aioli), and toro sashimi (I couldn't resist). Bonsai- I loved the freshness and crunch of the cucumber. Great option in general but especially if you're low carb. It didn't need either mayos Last Samurai- love. It's exactly what you'd expect from the description. Kind of an amped up spicy salmon roll Salmon Ninja- good but I realized I don't like seared sashimi lol raw is fine Toro is always so fresh and buttery here Service is great dining in or doing takeout. Will be back!

Had a delectable meal, starting wit TNT mussels and Hama Wasa "sushi taco" (aka a hand roll). I then had the Triple Threat roll, and Bae got the Seafood and California rolls (he's less "adventurous" than I am). When we were wrapping up, Chef sent over this incredible yellowtail, topped with guac and coconut flakes - and it was set ablaze tableside . 10/10 no notes. I live in Maryland, but the service and incredible freshness and variety and ambiance of Sushi Cho make the drive out to Vienna totally worth it.

Interesting place. The wood choice and color theme remind me of Japan. It's run by Koreans, though. The staff is friendly and attentive. The decoration works. The takoyaki was quite good. The bonito flakes were rather too much. The taste was amazing, though. Be sure to give it some time to cool down or take smaller bites. I'm always eager to pop the entire takoyaki ball as soon as it comes, and always regret burning my tongue. Yet, I keep doing it. I came with a friend and went for the sashimi bowl for two. It was a mixed experience for a mixed bowl. Some fish I liked, some not so much. I will probably stick to the ones I like next time. This isn't any fault of the restaurant. I tried something I hadn't had before and found out what I didn't like. From my experience, it's hard to go wrong with basic sashimi like salmon, tuna, fatty tuna, etc., but some special fish, scallops, uni, etc., are hard to get right unless you're at an expensive omakase restaurant. We were given two special rolls on the house with a fiery display, which was cool.

I really wanted to love Sushi Cho. The presentation was fine, but the whole vibe felt a bit stiff. The host, let's call her the dragon-at-the-door (possibly the owner?) was so hands-on and micromanagement with her staff that it made the place feel tense. The poor sweet servers seemed afraid to blink without approval. The food itself was okay but missing that touch of love. I tried the Sushi Lover Roll, Udon, Russian Lover, and Dragon Roll. The restaurant overall felt a little cold--though not temperature-wise. The sashimi was fresh, but the energy in the room could cause emotional paralysis...beautiful fish, stressful vibes. Yikes!

Oft cited as a top sushi place in the area, Sushi Cho piqued my wife's interest. Recently postpartum and on a huge sushi kick, she and I have been making our way through most of the well rated sushi restaurants within a 30 minute drive from our home. We visited Sushi Cho for an early Friday dinner. By the time we left around 7, patrons nearly filled the dining room, so consider reservations on the weekends. We quickly ordered an assortment of rolls, two sushi "tacos," and a small selection of nigiri. The rolls occupy most of the menu, and Sushi Cho indeed boasts 100 specialty maki options ranging from deep fried and sauce laden to simple and fresh. We opted for selections that leaned towards the latter, and found the slices of fish clean and generously portioned. The flavor combinations worked well and the rolls stayed intact throughout service. I can see why this place is so popular on the merit of the rolls alone. The sushi "tacos" represent a take on the classic hand roll. While the flavor combinations and seafood quality in both the spicy scallop and wasabi yellowtail varieties shone, we found the eating experience a bit unwieldy despite our server's careful instruction. Do not attempt to share them lest you turn your taco into a burrito bowl. Finally, our nigiri pieces had generously portioned and well cut portions of fresh fish. The rice seasoning and texture, however, failed to impress us. We felt that the nigiri here is an afterthought as only the very standard varieties of fish were on offer. We love more esoteric fin and shellfish, so seeing only tuna, salmon, and other classics disappointed. In contrast, a highlight of the meal was the service. Staff consistently checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We received multiple bites on the house including a delicious morsel of chopped toro with scallion. The ambiance of the place feels a little more clean and sleek than the typical neighborhood sushi restaurant. Despite the strip mall location, parking here is a little rough due to limited and small spots. Prices here feel fair, as the cuts of fish are ample and the rolls are very filling despite having a restrained quantity of rice. While the search continues for quality nigiri, we will definitely return to Sushi Cho for great rolls and friendly service.

Came in for lunch and ordered many items to share for three people. Service was pretty good and food arrived fairly quickly. Food tasted fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the sashimi and shrimp tempura. Restaurant was clean and tidy.

Absolutely one of the best value to taste and quality ratio. All of this plus additional free times for ~$250 with tip! Visited family and friends while traveling for work. Found this gem and for what it is, I'd place it in my top 3 sushi restaurants. Quality and taste is absolutely superb. Fresh, thick pieces of fish and a hefty portion! Perfectly pairs with sake or beer with a group of friends. Service was top tier - attentive and professional staff. Ambiance is nice and cozy with subtle background noise while you're still able to talk intimately. 5 stars and I highly recommend!

These guys have hundreds of roll options, which my family loved, even if I was not sold on it -- I find the rolls are too big to eat properly, and that Sushi Cho is trying to stuff too much into one piece. The Bonsai roll (salmon and spicy salmon) tasted good, but I'm not a big fan of replacing sushi and/or seaweed wrap with cucumber. The Flying Dragon Roll didn't quite work for me, since the eel was a bit dry (maybe it just needed a little more sauce). My family loved the Mafia Roll and the Tropic Thunder Roll, but especially the White Love From Russia, which was three different types of fish egg with a quail egg on top. The quality of the fish eggs was top notch and the quail egg made for a nice sauce to bring out their best qualities. My wife described it as a flight of caviar. Lastly, they comp'ed us the seared salmon belly, which is lit on fire and looks cool, and tastes very nice. As you can see, my wife and daughter love Sushi Cho, so we will be back, and I will try some more basic sushi and sashimi next time to properly evaluate the restaurant, since I suspect it is worth 5 stars instead of 4.

This is probably one of my favorite go to spots for a more quality sushi type of night! It's higher quality and also perfectly casual enough as well! Service is really great! but the only issue is the SPACING - absolutely cluttered feeling :( you are right next to someone else and can hear their conversations ~ getting in and out of the booths are sort of a hassle too... Table space is tiny and NO places to hang coats or bags... Food is pretty delicious! They have a wide variety of sushi selections and combos! Love love their Hwe dupbap! (sushi + rice + salad and a huge bowl of veggies mixed). Such a generous portion that I eat it in 3 meals LOL Tried their soft shell crab - I usually love it but here it's okay - think their takoyaki is better. One unique and awesome thing they do is at the end they always give out two pieces to try as complimentary and they're usually delicious! Overall 8/10 would totally come back!

serene atmosphere with japandi interior design with very respectful and attentive staff lunch complimentary miso soup and salad: the soup had an umami base with more depth of flavor compared to other complimentary miso soups I've had. salmon nachos: salmon sashimi, thinly sliced apple, and spicy tuna all on top of a caramelized scorched rice toffee and deep fried seaweed chip everything balanced each other very well, the salmon cut wasn't stringy making it easy for multiple bites however if you're not a fan of scorched rice or very hard things I would choose something else. My partner and I loved absolutely loved the play on textures. It reminded me of the korean dish that serves scorched rice, nurunji sushi sashimi combo with 1 roll: all the sashimi slices were perfect and super fresh, each nigiri had a little wasabi that tasted different than the typical horseradish wasabi (almost sweet?) lunch chirashi: tiny tier lower fish cuts but because they are very fresh and delicious slices it's still better quality than other sushi places I've been to on the house: yellowtail "something-something", I forgot the name of it but they flambé'd it and it was a terrific ending experience for our quick lunch stop!! I would recommend this place to everybody in the area that is a sushi fiend!

Wanted to update and add more photos of the food, since this is still one of my favorite sushi places in NOVA! Their fish is always fresh and high-quality with clean taste. Most recently, we ordered the sashimi for 2, seared salmon belly, and scallop sashimi appetizer. Service is still spectacular. The employees make sure our cups were always filled with hot tea (especially important on those cold winter days). At the end of our lunch, the chef brought us complimentary seared yellowtail, a twist to their seared salmon belly. One thing I will say is that the middle tables in the restaurant can get pretty chilly with the breeze whenever someone opens the door. I would recommend going earlier to see if you could be seated along the wall or area that's tucked in.

One of my go-to sushi spots in the area. It is often quite busy and you may need to wait if you do not have a reservation, especially on weekends and during dinnertime. Their special rolls are great. The place is quite small compared to other restaurants, but they try to have as much seating as possible. Definitely recommend

Looking for something light spicy and tasty!! Check out the hae dup bap!! Fresh assorted fish over a vegetable salad along with rice and sweet pepper sauce! The portion is big and would be enough to share with another person. Service was great again too! They were attentive and helpful during ordering. Ambiance is nice and cozy but it can be a little bit of a tight fit seating wise depending where you're sitting!

My first time at Sushi Cho and I went on a whim because my cousin and I were craving sushi. We stumbled upon this restaurant on yelp and decided to give them a try. We didn't have a reservation, for two people on a Saturday night the wait was about 15 minutes which was not bad at all. I really like the ambiance of the store, looked very organized and traditionally on theme for a sushi restaurant. The staff were very friendly. We ordered three rolls: Chesapeake Bay, Dynamite, and What a Match. We also ordered an appetizer, Seared Salmon Belly. Our favorite of the three rolls was the Chesapeake Bay which has fried oyster in it! The Seared Salmon Belly is a must order appetizer. It looks like the other yelpers agree with me too. Overall, I would definitely come here again for sushi. There are 100 specialty rolls to choose from and it was a very pleasant dining experience.

One of the best sushi experiences I have had - Sushi Cho is an intimate yet casual dining space and hotspot in NOVA. Everything tastes good and the service was great. Seared Salmon Belly - I love seared salmon and this item topped em all. Must order "appetizer" that melts in your mouth. Chicken Karage and sauce were good but I'll save my space to try another new roll next time! The Tuna Ninja almost tasted like steak to me! Maybe not what some are expecting but I liked it! Couldn't go wrong with the Last Samurai too. In general, they have plenty menu items and rolls where you'll find something you'll like - maybe just take a look at the menu before you go. Will 100% return when I get the opportunity.

Definitely one of the nicer and better quality sushi places around the Fairfax area. The dishes here are a bit pricier compare to other neighboring restaurants with the same dishes. But the portion sizes are great. In fact, we were so excited, we over ordered. My kids love tempura udon so we had to order this. Their udon comes with a generous amount of zucchini and shiitake mushrooms as well as two pieces of shrimp tempura. It's really worth it for the price. We also ordered three different speciality rolls with the mafia being our favorite. It had every kind of fish and topped with tobiko. We also had their salmon sashimi appetizer and each piece was generous, buttery, and fresh. Same goes for the seared salmon belly. Nice quality fish and a fun presentation as well. Other notable Japanese dishes were the agetofu that was silky and flavorful, and the miso Chilean sea bass that was cooked perfectly with tons of flavor. Literally we loved our meal, both adults and kids alike. Service was wonderful and attentive. I think we might have found a new local favorite sushi spot.

Busy little sushi joint. Their tempura was not authentic (more Korean style than Japanese). I tried the sashimi Korean salad but there was way too much salad compared to fish. Service was nice and they also gave a free salmon nigiri at the end of the meal.

Came to Sushi Cho for my husband's birthday and we were impressed with everything Sushi Cho had to offer. The service was phenomenal, ambiance was perfect, and the sushi was delicious! I am pregnant and was only able to have certain sushi rolls and our waiter was very kind and helpful when providing recommendations. I am definitely coming back after pregnancy.

came in for an early dinner around 4:30 PM. we knew this place would be popular since the last time we cam here, it was packed. we were immediately seated and our waitress asked us our preference for water, hot or cold which I appreciated! they also took away my son's dishware and replaced them with a plastic plate and plastic utensils which was perfect! I was rocking this fantastic headache during dining here and wasn't sure how much I'd be able to eat while here. my kids loved the miso soup here & drank it all. my daughter typically only eats salmon rolls and when they brought out the sushi tacos, my daughter wanted one for herself, but a salmon version. after talking with the waitress, she was able to get us a sushi taco with just a huge slice of salmon on it. my daughter loved it! the sushi here was fresh & my SO mentioned this place reminds him of Takumi out in Falls Church. the uni from Japan was so freaking good. there was no bitter after taste and was just so sweet. I'd come back and order a platter to go next time. their presentation whether it's dining in or take out was just gorgeous. I can see why this place has such a hype about it. the sushi is fresh and delicious - they do import from Japan. the takoyaki is made fresh and not frozen like most restaurants. their menu is extensive and full of different options for even the pickiest of eaters. I would make a reservation as they do get super busy from walk ins.

I love sushi, and sushi cho is probably one of the best in the area. Their fish is always super fresh! As someone who is sensitive to the fishy smell, I've never had issues with sushi cho. Not only that, the service is always so good. They're super attentive and friendly! 10/10 recommend

This place has redeemed itself! It was busy on a Monday. The rolls are huge! You only need a couple to share. The Kani salad was great and fresh. I tried the Maui salmon roll and the flower roll. Both had super big fresh cuts of fish and unique sauces and flavors. Huge menu!

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in Fairfax. I came in with one child, and the hostess immediately said we would have to wait a long time, even though there were empty tables available. My child was so upset that he started crying. As I was preparing to leave, I noticed an empty table and took a photo. The hostess rushed out to confront me, and staff quickly placed a "Reserved" sign on it. Later, they even asked if I wanted to sit at that "already reserved" table. It was obvious they were prioritizing larger groups for bigger checks and tips. Parents dining with a child deserve fairness and respect, not discrimination.

Overall: 4.5 stars Go-to, best local sushi restaurant in the Fairfax area. Fair price for the quality. Highly recommend and plan on coming back with family/friends. Food Quality: 4.5 stars Ordered Sashimi Regular, Specialty Roll (forget which one), Tempura Appetizer. Sashimi was very good - not the best I've ever had but for the price point, definitely good quality. Specialty roll was flavorful, with a good rice to sushi ratio, but just wish it was slightly bigger. Tempura Appetizer was very flaky/crunchy (type of breading I like). Excited to try more items on the menu. Service/Experience: 4.5 stars Visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon - plenty of parking/seating available at that time. I believe it gets really busy on weekend nights/holidays, so it can get congested. Overall good service and received a complimentary dish at the end.

The restaurant is cute & quaint Doesn't seem like much but it gets packed & busy w/ customers taking out their orders because the wait is so long! My bestfriend & I got here right before the dinner rush, so we got sat down as soon as we entered. Thank goodness for coming @ the time that we did. Even tho it's busy, their servers are on top of their customer service Now let's get into the most important part, the food! Coming from California, I've had really fresh & tasty sushi but I think the freshness & deliciousness here takes the cake! Every single piece of fish I've put into my mouth was so fresh & didn't have that seafood aftertaste. After I've had my fill, I had to order to take home to eat later that's how good it was!

This place has been on our list for a long time, and we were so excited to check it out yesterday. We ordered the 32 pcs from the chef's special platter. We end up liking the nigiri more than the sashimi. The sushi rice was great and in good proportion with the seafood. We were also surprised by how good the spicy tuna roll tasted. A good chunk of meat and has a nice flavor. We ended the night with a complimentary salmon roll and a nice little show as shown in the video. We will be back to check out other items in the future since they have quite an extensive menu.

I love light wooded decor/furniture, and this place had that. Honestly we were in the area and were super hungry. We saw this place as we were driving and I'm glad we stumbled upon this spot. The service was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We ordered the Sashimi bowl. I'm not for sure how to judge sushi just yet, but man oh man was the fish fresh! It was very filling. I would recommend to try this spot if you have not already done so.

Service is really nice and sushi is pretty good too! We got the sushi platter with 2 rolls and 20 nigiri. Everything tasted great except for the clam nigiri.

This remains my go to spot for delicious sushi in the Fairfax area! Came back here recently and walked away happy, full and satisfied with my meal and service. It's wonderful when you come back to an establishment and get the same level of service and food quality each an every time.

Delicious food all around and great ambiance! It's a very cute restaurant and it looks clean too. I like how they give complimentary miso soup and salad. Both were great to start while we waited for our meals. All of the sushi were delicious. We got two specialty rolls, lady killer and November rain. Both were so good. I like how the lady killer portion was pretty good for the price. November got some crunch to it and compliments the cream cheese well. Seared salmon belly was the star of the show with the performative flame around it. The flavor was great too. I love how part of the salmon was cooked lightly so the texture was great. You can order a la carte, although that was not given to us automatically. We had to ask for the paper menu to mark our orders. The fish to rice ratio was great, they gave a decent size of fish per nigiri. The house hand roll was delicious as well. I didn't expect all the fish to be chopped up like ground meat though. At the end, they gave us matcha ice cream on the house and I thought that was a nice touch! There was a guy that filled up our tea very promptly and that was great because typically, we never get refills at places like this. I appreciate they were on top of it with a kettle! The waitress was very nice. She didn't automatically open the beer but instead, brought a bottle opener for the person who ordered it to open, which I thought that was odd.

BIG TIP: If you plan to eat here on a Saturday, call the restaurant on a Friday to make a reservation. Avoid the same mistake that I did with my family; our estimated 45 minute wait became an hour and a half until we were seated. It wasn't anyones' fault, it is a small restaurant and each reservation comes with a grace period before they can forgo the seat to the next party on the list. I thought the staff was attentive and courteous all throughout the visit. Anywho, something unique about this restaurant is that their menu contains 100 specialty sushi rolls. The sushi is good here the rolls do not overdo it with the rice. Would recommend.

I really enjoy this place a lot! My favorite roll is the salmon seared belly roll! I highly recommend everyone get it. I have gotten their sashimi box as well and enjoyed it a lot. Basically this place is one of my fav sushi places. It is on the pricier side but I definitely think it's worth if you want to bring someone for lunch or a special dinner. The interior is all wood mostly. It's kept clean and tidy. The service is great. I have never had any issues with their servers, they all seem very polite.

Put Sushi Cho on my list, as they were listed on a "Top NOVA spots per Yelp NOVA YES", and it did not disappoint. Not sure how new this place is, but from hi to goodbye, the service was so attentive. Enjoyed the modern, clean, simple wooden aesthetic of the venue. Unlike most other sushi places we go to, we got offered so much on the house: Miso soup, house salad, and a tasting of tempura fish. Both the classic appetizers like the gyoza and shrimp tempura were satisfactory. If you are here, that is probably because of the 100 speciality rolls. Not all have photos on Yelp, so there is room for more trips and work for Yelpers. Admittedly, I was not blown away with our selections, but will have more times to try and find our favorites.

Sushi Cho used to be one of my go-to's. Sadly, that is no longer the case after I had terrible, terrible food poisoning from their sushi. On top of the fiasco, the sushi isn't as fresh or tasty, anymore. I got the Jay roll and Seven Colors of the Rainbow roll this time, and they were really bad. They added too many ingredients into the rolls - it was super overwhelming and hard to eat. It seemed like they just mashed up a bunch of things into one roll without thinking about if the ratios or combinations would make sense. Even without all the toppings, the quality of the fish has gone drastically down. I'm never coming back and do not recommend Sushi Cho, anymore.

The food and service here were great. We ordered the tuna and salmon sashimi appetizer and tako yaki to start with. The sashimi was super fresh tasting, and the tako yaki was delicious. For rolls, we got the California roll, along with three other rolls (I am not sure of their names). I tried the roll with the eel on it, and it was really good. I didn't get to try the other three rolls, but the other people at my table seemed to like them. The tonkatsu was really crispy and the pork wasn't dry. I was so full from eating other stuff, I only got to taste a little bit of the salmon teriyaki (which I had ordered for myself), and had to box up the rest of it, but it was really good once I got to taste more of it the next day! I liked the sauce on it, and the salmon was cooked well. The waiter was very attentive and checked in on us very often. He even asked if the salmon teriyaki was okay and seemed very worried, as I hadn't really touched it since I was full. I assured him that it was just because I was full and not because there was anything wrong with it, but they even gave us a free sushi bite to try, which was really good. I assume they gave it to us because they were worried I didn't like the food, which was a nice gesture. But even before this, I thought the food and service were really great. The whole staff seemed to care about our experience and the quality of the food they made. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant as well. The restaurant was very cute, and there was a decent amount of seating. I would recommend going here if you are looking for solid food and great service!

Normally I don't like writing bad reviews because I like to give benefit of the doubt. However, the last 2 times now that I've ordered from here is now consistent and confirms my belief that the quality of fish here has gone down. The price I pay is not worth what I'm getting. The chirashi bowl I got today 4/9/25 only had 12 pieces of fish and 1 piece of shrimp. The salmon and tuna were ok. But both white fish tasted like sewage and the texture was very mushy. This is very different from when Sushi Cho first opened. I used to highly recommend this restaurant anytime some asked for the best sushi in nova. I now don't think I can recommend them anymore due to the change in quality and the increase in price. I don't have the picture of the chirashi bowl I ordered last year anymore, but I'm sure whomever is reading this review can look up other chirashi bowls people have posted for comparison.

Awesome, fresh tasty fish soooooo good I 'll be back soon. Loved it really good. Other nearby sushi places are not on the same par as this place.

Hands down the best sushi at the best value. What's great about the rolls is that they don't stuff it with a bunch of rice so you can actually taste the fish and vegetables. The sashimi is cut beautifully and chunky, our server told us they get fresh fish everyday. We also tried the broiled salmon head, the meat is tender and fatty. We also had the sushi/sashimi tacos, another winner along with the salmon belly appetizer. The nice part about here is the service is warm and inviting, the servers take great care in making sure you are taken care of. Parking can be challenging during dinner hours and the wait can be long if you don't reserve ahead of time. Luckily we made reservations and didn't have to wait long. Sushi Cho is our go to place for sushi and sashimi.

First time coming for lunch and still had the same pleasant experience! Always love the freshness of the sushi/ sashimi.. plus the unagi (eel) don was very good as well!

One of the best sushi places in the area! Highly recommend. Great quality sushi and a whole variety to choose from. Their appetizers are very delicious as well. We were there for Valentine's Day and the service was great. The place is a little small and the tables are placed close to other people. And it was cold because people kept opening the door. I noticed no one took off their costs. That's how cold it was due to the door opening and closing. Nothing they can do about it but just for people are aware.

This was the perfect date night spot. The ambiance was great - dimmed lights, candles, nice decor. My boyfriend and I tried the Valentine's Day special sushi platter. It was very similar to other platters on the menu but included uni and a few other things. Across the board, you could tell that the quality of ingredients was top tier and really fresh. The cuts of fish were very thick! The complementary appetizer was fairly standard - miso soup, ginger salad, and steamed egg. The steamed egg was delicious and had a very silky smooth texture. Service was good. Our waiter was attentive and was able to recommend a nice sake. This was a little pricey but definitely worth the money.

Came just as the lunch crowd streamed steadily in . Enjoyed the waitstaff and the clean simple decor. Our order of Lunch Sushi & Sashimi tasted freshly made and delicious. We had Plum Wine and Hot Tea with it, very tasteful. We want to try other menu items, we will be back.

Pretty solid sushi! There are over 100(!) specialty rolls to choose from. The service is also great. The two times I went, they brought out nigiri that was on the house. I don't know what it's called, but they lit it up on fire and it has to be one of the most delicious things I've tasted.

This takes sushi to 'anuva' level! It truly was outstanding. They learned from the legendary sushi man of the DMV...Suny from Yuraku, Suny Sushi and Umai Nori... Although he's got extremely formidable competition for that spot with Michelin star Sushi chef, Ricky over at Omakasi Barracks Row. 7 Words... Get. The. Treasure. And. Seared Salmon Belly!!! Muscles topped with imitation crab meat and scallops is delicious, as is the summery style roll, but I don't recall the name (see attached pic). The bottom line is if you're a sushi fanatic like I am, this is definitely not a place to miss!

Food - 4.50 . Service - 5. Ambiance -5 Everything was fresh and delicious. We ordered too much -generous quantities. The menu is huge. The flaming yellow tail was an off the menu "service" item and absolutely yummy. We got Takoyaki and salmon/tuna sashimi, and a variety of sushi. The food came out quickly and service was attentive!

THE best sushi I've ever had! We drove about a hour north to come here and it did NOT disappoint! We even got a small free plate of nigiri. I can't wait to come back

Their sushi is very well prepared. If you are only looking for sushi this is a great spot. Other than that the food was just alright. The udon I got came with shrimp tempura that almost tasted stale and the broth lacked much flavor until I added the seasoning they gave me. The amount of options they had for rolls was overwhelming but we were offered some great options. To find a waiter or waitress was nearly impossible to order and they never checked on us when we wanted to order more drinks. Location and inside would be really cute for a date night.
