I can’t get over this place! The quality of the fish and flavors are outstanding, every piece is delicious. Chef Aiden and Chef Sunny are incredible, and the whole team is so attentive. We love sitting at the bar and come here weekly because it’s always consistent and always excellent. Highly recommend doing the omakase at the bar, it’s such a great experience!

We came on a Sunday of a long holiday weekend but we still needed to book a reservation pretty far in advance. The parking is tough but there were a few meters open so we didn’t have to use the valet. We were seated right away and placed our order. The food comes out as it’s ready for the most part so we opted to share as a group so we could enjoy things together. The sashimi was excellent and the presentation was impressive. I also appreciated how small the restaurant was. It was a great place for a trio or a date night.

This is an amazing sushi spot! My friend took me here for my birthday, and it turned out to be such a memorable culinary experience. I loved all the small dishes, the sushi rolls, and the sashimi—everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. They’re well-known for their high-quality sushi and have three locations in the LA area. The staff was so sweet—they brought out mochi ice cream for my birthday and even sang to me! What a thoughtful touch. What a treat—I highly recommend this place for both special occasions and casual sushi cravings.

Sashimi is VERY good. Salmon hand roll is very good. Spicy tuna crispy rice is decent. Tiger Crunch roll I expected to be hot, but it's cold. Huge portion. Very salty, but good. Cherry blossom roll is DELICIOUS. Especially the salmon one. Sponge cake and the mochi are delicious. I love that you can just keep ordering as you go, and it comes out really quickly. Excellent happy hour deal til 6:30pm. Makes it way cheaper. Good and friendly service. Tables are a bit too close together; hard to have private conversation. They're also pretty small.

I had a great experience here at Sushi Enya Beverly Hills location. It was a great vibe I had. I chose to sit at the sushi bar and I was glad I made the right decision. I wanted to get some appetizer dish and about 8 sushi nigiris so I chose to leave it up to chef's recommendations. Chef Aiden and Chef Kassie helped me with the sushi selections and everything was great, the fish was very fresh. I will definitely come back because this place has become my go-to for dinner now! Will bring more of my my friends and family next time!

I don’t even wanna write a review, cause I don’t want more people to come. But this is one of the best sushi I’ve ever, and I’ve traveled to Japan. Chef, Aiden, and the rest of his staff are one of the best happiest, thoughtful people that I’ve ever experienced in LA. The fish is always fresh !! ALWAYS this my my go to birthday / celebration spot. 10/10

In conclusion, this place is the ultimate sushi omakase restaurant. I'm a big fan of sushi and enjoy touring various sushi spots for omakase experiences. My usual go-to spot was Sushi Enya in Pasadena. However, as of today, I would like to crown this Beverly Hills Sushi Enya as my number one sushi restaurant. I made a reservation for the omakase here and arrived on time to be seated at the sushi bar. The chef in charge of our omakase today was Chef Aidan. He stood tall with an expert expression at the center of the sushi bar. The overall impression of the omakase was that they focused not just on the superficial performance of sushi but on the true taste of sushi and the skill of bringing out the flavor and maturity of the sashimi. I connected with Chef Aidan on Instagram, and I plan to visit this Beverly Hills Sushi Enya frequently in the future. Whether you're new to sushi or have plenty of sushi experiences, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. And if you get the chance, I encourage you to try the omakase experience.

The A.C. Milan and Yuzu rolls? Straight-up masterpieces--bright, balanced, and the kind of bite that makes you pause in admiration. Washed it down with an Orion Beer, which, let's be real, is criminally underrated. No notes. Just go. Staff is so friendly and amazing, I always recommend this type of vibe.

Avoid this restaurant. The sushi was disgusting, I found HAIR in my food, very nasty sushi restaurant and when I informed the server, there was no apology. This place has horrible service, bad sushi, and an owner that does not care about your business. Don't waste your money or time at this place, you will regret it. The food was not tasty. Not to mention they charge for spicy mayo, how ridiculous. The restaurant also smelled really weird. Never coming back again. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Hands down Omakase is itadakimasu. Every bit was perfect so no soy sauce or wasabi was needed to be added, yet offered. Presentation is above all so amazingly exquisite work of art it's was hard for me to believe it's to be eaten. The cuts and quality were some of the best I've seen in a long time. The nigiri was so refined traditional and fusion tied together. As for service, I felt like a king for a dinner. Warm and attentive, I would have to say was right in line with the quality of the meal. I highly recommend sitting at the bar, watching the chefs work and being able to interact is comforting. May kudos to the chefs and thanks to the staff for a warm and comforting experience.

They offer fast, friendly service, but the sushi is just average. The rolls are standard, with decent fish quality, but nothing memorable. It's a good option for a quick meal, but not for those seeking standout sushi.

I was so disappointed in this place because I've heard rave reviews about it. The fish was no different than other sushi spots I've been to. Everything was average but what really grossed me out was the beef wagyu nigiri. It was so stringy and chewy I couldn't even swallow it and had to spit it out in my napkin :( Really disappointed because it was the one of the most expensive dishes we ordered.

Hands down our favorite sushi spot in LA. BF and I absolutely LOVE LOVE sushi and we are here at least once a month. Their service is amazing, the head chef is so nice, the place small and intimate. Every single sushi just melt in your mouth!

Loved our dinner here. First time at this location. We stopped in for dinner. Called in and asked if there was a wait, they told us to come in and we will be sat. Indeed we did! Great sushi, all the chefs were so fun and had great energy. Our server was also very pleasant and helpful. We ordered a few items off the menu, and enjoyed our dinner here. Our favorite was the Wagyu. The Hokkaido uni was also FABULOUS! This sushi place is super cozy and they also have parking right in the front of the restaurant, along with plenty of outdoor patio seating. 10/10 recommend!

Nothing spectacular. The sushi was good, but not great by any means and incredibly pricey for the quality. Service was good. Ambiance is casual. It get the job done if you want sushi, but def not somewhere I'd plan on coming back too. Maybe good if you live in the area and want to make it your local sushi spot, but there are plenty of better quality similarly priced sushi places in the surrounding area to go to.

Been to both the Pasadena and Beverly Hills location and love both! Did the omakase and it was amazing. The chef explained all of the dishes and the waiters were extremely attentive. The vibes were amazing and randomly met Lori Harvey when I was there too. Definitely recommend!

I will spare you all the descriptors and reasons why you should 100% come here for the Omakase dinner. Simply put, Chef Aiden Ryu was AMAZING! The restaurant is very under assuming, small, quaint and not a lot of fancy seating, so skip the ambiance and get to the actual dining experience, which was A+! From the moment we sat down, our hostess and the Chef Ryu's staff greeted us with a warm welcome, & presented what we would get during our omakase experience. It did not fall short of excellent! From the presentation, to the preparation and execution of each hand made dish, everything was flawless and extreme flavor town on your taste buds. From a fresh, new opened box of Uni from Hokkaido to the seaweed from Okinawa, to black shaved truffles and Otoro to waguyu, I will let you enjoy our full dining experience and story telling through the pics, which don't even touch how great this meal was. If you've seen my other sushi reviews, I can be a bit critical, but this dining experience reinvigorated my belief that we can get a true, high level Okamkase meal in the USA as presented from some of the best places I've been to in Japan. Just go here, you will not be disappointed

don't judge me for eating here - I got a bunch of nigiri and they were really good. Pretty pricey though but it was worth it. I got a lot of nodoguro, akami and a bunch of other fish. It's defnitely not a high-end top-tier kind of place but it's still pretty good - you get what you expect here. It's better than Sugarfish.

I came here for an early dinner on Sunday at 5pm. They had a happy hour menu during this time. The staff were super friendly and the food came out fast, fresh and hot. They also have an outdoor front patio seating. I highly recommend Sushi Enya and will be coming back again!

This is Sunday night and we dined in and sitting at the bar. The sushi chef Casey is so nice and friendly! We ordered A La carte as sushi platter, nigiri , fried eggplant and definitely must have Chef Signature Hand Roll!! I gave out for 5 ms!! So good! I'll definitely visit more times

I love this place. Always greeted here by the staff with a smile and always have great service. Beautiful sushi restaurant atmosphere that makes it not overwhelming. Absolutely love their nigiri options! There were a lot of great roll options but my husband were in the mood for quality fish and Sushi Enya did not disappoint. We had: Ama Ebi Toro Uni Ikura A5 wagyu with truffle Hamachi with yuzu Their signature hand roll with hotate scallop and uni (pictured) We did get other sides such as mixed tempura and garlic edamame but the nigiris were the stars. Service was great! I highly highly recommend making reservations. We happened to snag a table because of cancellations but as it started to get towards peak dinner time, people walking in were not happy hearing no. They do take walk ins but most of the walk ins will be seated outside unless there is cancellations with dining. I also love that they serve highballs which is a signature Japanese refreshment but not a lot of places stateside so this. Would I bring a kid here? Probably not. Will I try omakase next time? Absolutely but you much bring an appetite- it's 16 courses.

4.5 We came on Sunday night to the Beverly Grove location for the 16-course Omakase Dinner!! The parking is easy and convenient meter street parking right in front of the restaurant. Since it's a Sunday it was free parking! We had reservations for the Omakase so we sat down promptly and got ready to indulge on a culinary journey and we were not let down! Casey (our Chef) and Aidon perform magic and their hands just float cutting and plating each dish so meticulously! All the fish is so fresh and flavorful. I would recommend the 16-Course Omakase choice as it has entrees that you may not order or have seen before such as Abalone, Jellyfish, the soup (incredible) and their Signature handroll, Fin part of Halibut (very fatty and melts in your mouth), Egg topped with Ikura and Uni!! All Amazing and SO Fresh!! The waitresses are fast and attentive! They also have an extensive sake menu with different flavors for the different cuts of fish. The fish is fresh and the diversity of the menu is excellent. I knocked off 1/2 Star because the interior design could have more character and have a better "feel " to the restaurant. But who's looking at the walls??!! You won't remember the walls BUT you will remember the fish and the Experience!! Thank You Casey & Aidon for bringing it on!

Tried their Pasadena location once and loved their omakase. This time we tried their omakase in Beverly Hills location. We came on a Wednesday night and they were packed! Fortunately we had a reservation to sit at the bar. Aiden was the chef and he was very nice explaining all the courses and our questions. Omakase was amazing. Every single course was delicious! Service was impeccable. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Love Sushi Enya!

3.5 stars The food was great. Fresh fish. The salmon sashimi was cut thick and was fatty. My friend said the o-toro melted in her mouth. The aji was fresh. Rolls were flavorful. They were cut really thin, which actually made it easier to eat. Lots of meter parking right in front of the restaurant. I deducted stars for service. Everytime someone walks in, they yell out "welcome" in Japanese which got quite annoying and interfered with me chatting with my friends. Yes they do that in japan too but because the place is small, it echos and is really loud. Almost hurt my ears. And for some reason the rolls came out super fast but the sushi came out real slow. I also ordered chu toro and the waitress said they were out. 10 minute later, the customer sitting next to our table ordered chu toro and the waiter(different one) asked the bar and bar said they had one serving left. So I was bummed about that.

What a perfect omakase at the sushi bar for the 7 of us (including two kids). The 16 courses were perfectly made, timed and we enjoyed it so much. By the time we got to the 12 or 13th course most of us were quite full, but managed to enjoy the rest. The fish were so fresh, and so much creativity and thoguht went into each course by Chef Aidan. We were visiting so cal and this was such a treat, so we told all of our so cal friends about it and we also cannot wait to come back.

Came here last night and had a great experience. Got the 16-course omakase experience, which was delicious all the way through. Highlights included the scallop and shrimp broth, various cuts of tuna, and the signature scallop, uni, and truffle handroll. Chefs Aiden and Kassie were excellent and provided great explanations of all the courses and took care of everyone at the bar. Fantastic and relaxing ambiance and environment to enjoy on a Sunday night.

There are three locations located throughout Los Angeles. This location offers relatively easy and convenient street parking. The interior is simple and somewhat cramped so on busier times will take a while to negotiate seated. The service is solid if not spectacular which is also reflective of the food as well. Omakase is a standard fare of $150+ but what makes it challenging is when they bring the sashimi/sushi with multiple cuts at the same time rather than one piece at a time for proper pace and freshness.

I enjoyed this place a lot for my first time. I only was not a fan of the fact that the bar is only for Omakase, which is a shame considering how amazing the rolls are. But it's understandable because of the quality of experience they want you to have. The service was good we had multiple people help us and always pour our drinks which was a plus experience. It shows they are attentive. They did forget a few items we ordered Ike a hand roll and tea. But easily fixed with a reminder. The food quality is good. The rolls are amazing because they are long rolls. I have never seen a roll so long. Check out the picture. You need to try the albacore crispy onion roll and the seared salmon belly just melts in your mouth. Overall look at my photos. Everything I ordered from the snapper sashimi to the yellowtail sashimi was delicious. They have a great selection of sake to go with it. They have an outside patio to sit which I enjoyed the ambiance more than the inside but this lovely place is on a harsh street. Lots of transients outside so it may get a little loud at times. This place is still great albeit the hiccups. I will be back to test it out one more time.

Amazing quality fish. Every dish or roll are delicious, highly recommend. On Sunday happy hour is from 5 to 6 also.

We had a birthday party here. Great service. Most friendliest staff I have ever seen. Top quality ingredients. Excellent chefs. Lastly, drinks are to die for. Highly recommended. An experience I would never forget.

My girlfriend and I went on Thursday night a few weeks back and we did a walk-in without any reservations. We were greeted by a host and she could get us seating right away. We chose to sit at sushi bar facing sushi chefs. We had quite several sushi nigiris and Mozuku seaweed. We also ordered scallops and they were so fresh! A server helped us choose sake bottle and we had this great Hyakumoku Junmai Ginjo sake and we glad we made the right decision. Overall, I can say this restaurant really offer authentic Japanese sushi , all of their fish were very fresh, you could just kept on ordering one after another and it seemed like it was endless meal! 5 stars from us, will be back for sure !!!

Came here very early on a Saturday. You may need reservations otherwise. Very small indoor and outdoor space. The sushi is very "long" but very thinly cut so realistically it's the same portion as elsewhere. I would skip the lemon roll because it tasted way too much like wasabi. Their rolls are all range between $24-$26 which is on the pricier side and they still charge $1.50 for spicy mayo.

Damn this is the best thing I've put in my mouth in a long time. Highly recommend the Enya special Hand-roll.

Okay... If you haven't been here... This is your sign to definitely book a reservation and go! This place has two of my favorite things... Wagyu and truffles! Yes! Truffles! It literally melts in your mouth! We came here for a friends birthday and we explored with many different rolls, and there was not a single roll I would not order again. The Enya special hand roll is to die for! It's on the pricey side, but hey, it's completely worth it! I have also been on a crisply rice kick and they nailed it! It's a small venue so be sure to make a reservation.

This was our regular spot, until last weekend. My girlfriend ordered the spicy tuna crispy rice, sushido peppers, and some salmon hand roll that she always gets. A few hours later and she could not get off the toilet. She was bleeding, going number 2, and throwing up non stop. We will never go back to this low quality restaurant. Try somewhere else instead if you want to avoid the worst bloody number 2 ever!

This sushi is fantastic! Great prices and lots of food for what you pay. Rolls come on a big plate and more than plenty to share Cannot wait to come back

Everything here is amazing. The service is spectacular and the seafood is incredibly fresh. You can't go wrong with anything you order.

I thoroughly enjoyed my omakase experience at Sushi Enya - Beverly Hills. I will warn you - once you've had high quality sushi like that at Enya, you can't ever have cheap sushi ever again. We had omakase, which basically means that the chef decides what you're going to be eating that night. It was 13 pieces of sushi (shown chronologically through my pictures). Everything was delicious and by the end of the meal, I was comfortably full (with room for dessert of course). Our chef was also very nice and told us about everything we were eating. I wish I could afford to eat like this every night, but I'll definitely consider coming back to have omakase again for another special occasion.

This place was cute intimate and accommodating. The main reason I docked stars was the cost. While the sushi was definitely tasty and fresh, the price point was much higher than most comparable sushi locations in LA. The appetizer portions were also smaller than I'm used to. However, I did really enjoy their method of cutting the sushi as the pieces were smaller and easier to enjoy. I plan on returning to try the Omakase one evening, as I find that's typically the best and most unique way to get your money's worth. Staff were very kind!

I wasn't incredibly impressed with this place. The sushi was standard, nothing to write home about, but the service is pretty poor. It's hard to get anyone's attention and they never served us pickled ginger. Also the interiors aren't that nice and it's too loud to hold a conversation.

Amazing fresh sushi with an intimate ambiance! When you walk into the spot, the greet you with great energy. The chefs are very friendly and all the food comes out very quickly. There's a small outdoor seating section with heaters along with indoor seating. Reservations encouraged and parking is street parking. The Lemon roll was my fave!!! Super refreshing and melts in your mouth!

Not impressed. Rather have Ralph's sushi that this soggy excuse for a sushi. All the rolls fell apart as we were eating them. The fish on top was tasteless and smallest fish I've ever seen. Will not be coming back

Def my new fave spot!!!! The fish is soooooo yummy and my basic girl spicy tuna crispy rice is better then Nobu, I said it! Everyone is so attentive and welcoming too! + Happy hour rocks!!! We did most of the stuff off of the happy hour menu and a few sashimi pieces which totaled a whopping $89!!!!!!!!! We currently live there now! Parking is easy on the plaza.

I rarely post reviews but was completely disappointed in this sushi restaurant. I live very close so was very excited to take my family to this local Sushi bar. First and foremost the sushi didn't seem fresh at all. We ALLLLLL got nauseous and was left with a weird taste in our mouths afterwards and I even had to take an anti nausea pill to feel better. I also couldn't believe that this casual vibed restaurant with not even great sushi charged $360 for four people when we didn't even eat that much. (Two kids and two lean women) Food took a LONG time to get and there were only a few other people in the restaurant. We left feeling robbed of our money and nauseous from the food. We won't be going back. And, we will stick to the places we know and like.

Sushi Enya is a great place with amazing energy and excellent service. We had a reservation so we were seated right away. Our waitress was very knowledgeable in the menu options and gave was us good recommendations. We ended up ordering several different dishes and appetizers and everything was beautifully presented and prepared to perfection.

We enjoyed a nice evening out. The restaurant is located on a business access street so it is quite. Parking is on the street meter parking till 8 pm. Walking in was fun being greeted by the Sushi Chefs. The sushi was fresh and creative. With wine beer and sake was about $100 a person including tip.

This place is absolutely amazing. My favorite sushi place to go. Sushi is impeccable and consistent every time. Chef Aiden is one the best sushi chefs. He always creates a fun and memorable experience at the bar. We took our friends here for my husband's birthday and they all loved it. Everyone is super friendly and has great energy here. Highly recommended. If you have never tried this place, you are missing out.

Holy cow. This was one of the best LA sushi experiences in many years. We used to come here when it was a different restaurant, and it was good. But this was another level. We were going to order in, but on a whim, decided to drive over to the new place as we'd heard great thing about it, and I'm so glad we did. Service is truly incredible. Very attentive, unintrusive, yet super knowledgeable about everything on the menu. You can tell that they train the staff as they would in a Michelin starred restaurant. The food was so good, I was actually kind of stunned. The rolls were fantastic but you're going for the sushi. Anything fried or with mayonnaise somehow still tasted light and ethereal. Get the albacore belly, the ebi (which they serve raw and then serve you the fried head afterward), the seared black cod with whisk and walnut was buttery and other worldly, the spicy tuna on crispy rice, get everything. It was all really amazing. I even had the blue fin (I don't usually order it due to overfishing, but my wife wanted it, so I had one), which melted in the mouth. We really did not hold back on our ordering, and still got out of there for about $100 a person after tip, which, while not cheap, didn't seem more expensive than any good sushi restaurant. Will come back soon for the Omakase. Thank you Chefs! That was an absolutely beautiful, pleasure of a meal.

Food is great, service is good but the ambience leaves much to be desired. It's extremely bland and boring atmospherically and could really use some better lighting, and art and /or colors on the walls. It doesn't take much to create a vibe. I'd be happy to help.!

We came here right after one of our trips to Japan, and this place is the real deal. The staff and chefs are so friendly and the sushi is incredible. When one of the chefs noticed we were picking up the pieces with our fingers, that started a conversation about Japan and we found out that he grew up in one of the towns that we visited. I even got to practice some Japanese on him that I learned. When we were leaving I dropped a "gochi so sama deshta" on the chefs and they lost their minds.
