Where to Sip the Top Sake Cocktails in South Florida

"As the name alludes, this Sunset Harbor restaurant used to house an auto-body shop. In its place diners can now find contemporary fare with an eye toward delivering simple, traditional Japanese dishes. Yuzu, the citrus fruit that is the current darling in Asian dining, makes a star-studded appearance in the restaurant’s sake cocktail, Love Yuzu, which includes gin, yuzu sake, grapefruit juice, and honey." - Alona Martinez

Google
Sushi garage used to be one of my favorite neighborhood spots especially for their everyday happy hour, but I feel like the quality has gone down significantly over the years. During our most recent visit we got the rainbow roll and spicy salmon roll, neither of which had any fish on the inside, only on top and the fish quality was subpar. Our service was average, nothing note worthy. Overall good ambiance, a nice place to do a post work happy hour, but I wouldn't recommend if you're looking to splurge on a nice dinner or occasion.

Google
Delicious food with plenty of different, tasty and unique options in the menu. Drinks are good but not that strong. All personnel is wearing their masks but social distancing is not their best. Waiters are not enough in my opinion since we had to wait long time to refill our drinks and receive all the food order.

Google
Great sushi spot in Miami Beach and they have an awesome happy hour! Diverse menu, cocktails and excellent service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice vibe- good for dinner with friends or a date.

Google
Surprised by the Happy Hour: 5 pm to 8 pm everyday!!! We had the Fried Chicken Tacos (recommended by our server), Yaki Soba Noodles, Chili Shrimp Dumplings, Korean Pork Tacos but the star was the simple Spicy Tuna Roll. It just melted in the mouth. VERY VERY GOOD! I would go straight for the Sushi next time... It's in their name for a reason, right?... And a Yuzu Margarita @ $5? SCORE!

Google
Great happy hour!! We came with a good sized group and ordered a few of everything. No complaints what so ever. The spicy mango margaritas was my favorite and takes the trophy for the night!!

Google
The ingredients are there, the execution definitely, but service is slow yet we felt rushed. I read the reviews and on our one month stay in Miami, we had Sushi Garage on our “to do list.” We had a 8 PM dinner reservation, we arrived timely and were seated promptly. Our waitress came and took our drinks and food order. We order a bottle of wine, a sommelier or perhaps a sommelier in training came over with the wine we order, opened and poured it for us. Our dishes were brought to the table by different people/waiters. The dishes were as we expected - fresh ingredients, creativity was there and flavorful. But, I felt rushed. I understand we are living during a pandemic, and restaurants need to limit their customers time on tables but I really felt like I was in a sushi factory and this was a big disappointment for us. Our waitress did not make it back to our table until it was time to give us our check. We wanted to order additional dishes but their concise time to rotate our table stood in the way. Oddly, by the time we were done with our 8pm reservation, the dining room was thinning out. A bit overrated I thought. Food was a solid 4 star Service (2 star for our waitress; 4 star for the acting sommelier who brought and served our wine) Atmosphere 3-4 (I guess it’s best to be there for happy hours; our reservation was at 8pm so we sort of experience some of the happy hour’s scene.

Google
Lots of options, fresh and very tasty dishes, clean flavors. Get there short rib dumplings for sure and the crispy spicy tuna. The pork tacos were also good but the tortilla was a bit stiff and dry. lots of sushi options ,tried the sampler....only problem is when it was brought out the servers didn't tell us what we got and some pieces we had no idea. Overall good was great, ambiance was very cool vibe with a DJ playing music. A bit pricey but I think because sunset harbor is just like that. Worth a second trip though... have to try the noodles next time.

Google
Went for happy hour it was ok. On google the prices are very different from the actual happy hour prices. A happy hour small carafe of sake $20. I was not impressed with the quality of the sushi. It is 1 piece per order and freshness and flavor were lacking. The shishito peppers were good $8 happy hour price. They do add gratuity which is a South Beach thing. I do believe gratuity should reflect service. The table busers were impeccable.

Yelp
Bottom line: Pretty good sushi choices and an enjoyable organic chicken teriyaki main dish. Service was mid-OK, I was out of water most of the time though. Large dining area with a nice casual feel. The Deets: On the first night of a recent visit to Miami Beach, we went to this location of Sushi Garage (there appear to be more than one around Miami, we found) in the Sunset Harbour area. It really has garage doors that can be opened but during our visit was a large lightning/rain storm so that was a no-go. The large dining area was mainly vacant so no trouble getting a table. We were seated and we looked at the menu, figuring out our strategy for the night...which really turned into ordering numerous things to try, so fast it was all I could do to get pics of just a very few of them before we devoured them. Most savory, a few sweet, most sushi of course, and each were mainly good but I really could not get the names of them all they were coming in fast and furious and eaten just as quickly. Please enjoy the few pics I did nab. My main entree was the organic chicken teriyaki with rice. There was plenty of chicken but not any real accompanying veggie content. I liked the teriyaki flavor as it was not overwhelming but just enough to please. Service was OK however my water remained empty after drinking it even after the girl with the water came by the tables twice...she may have been confused by one at our table having a bottle of sparkling water. One of my friends at the table let me have their water, and I was grateful. Other than that, it was a good visit to Sushi Garage in Miami Beach, I'd not be opposed to trying it out again in future visits to the area.

Yelp
Save your money!!!!!! Get your fried rice at Sriracha House (fast food) and your sushi at Publix (pre-made)... everything will be MUCH fresher than the Sushi Garage!! I don't know what happened here, but it is not at all the same as when it first opened many years ago: The California rolls arrived direct from the refrigerator, obviously. They were COLD, firm bricks made of pasty rice so pre-made it had become shaped and tasted like play-dough. The avocados in them were half black and mushy. The fried rice was WAY OVERCOOKED AND FULL OF GROSS OIL. The Asian tacos were gigantic floppy lettuce leaves with a tiny spoon of sweet jerky in them. And the waiter charged us $2.50 for hot sauce (a clear liquid of water consistency). The "Happy Hour" prices seem like 50% off until you realize the portions are also -50%. So no deal... but the trick works because the other two people with me didn't realize it. After finishing this shockingly disappointing meal, we then noticed the sushi prep guy (who had previously been surfing his telephone for fifteen minutes) was now making sushi rolls with only one glove on, while the other bare hand was generously caressing all of the fish rolls he was making (maybe he thinks being in the fridge for the next few days will kill the germs). I thought this place was a local staple. But now it's become no different than a SoBe tourist trap.

Yelp
I came on a Friday night for happy hour. They have a happy hour with drinks and food. Outside of happy hour, their regular menu is very pricey. The interior is lovely. Our server was friendly. The food came out quickly. The bummer for me was the food. The best thing I tried was the hamachi serriole roll. That thing was poppin' with flavor. Everything else I tried ranged from just ok to bland. I'd probably give them another try because I do love happy hours that offer drinks and food, and the friends I went with raved about how much they love this place and come like once a week. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things?

Yelp
Really enjoyed coming for happy hour. Came in right around opening so we were able to be seated immediately. Friendly waiter. Happy hour is half off drinks and reduced pricing for some sushi and other apps. Ordered two sets of the salmon avocado roll, not notable but not bad. Shared chicken karage among three of us, I think we each got 1.5-2 pieces. Wanted to order the gyozas but they were unfortunately out so we got the chili dumplings instead- strangely watery but mostly liked it. Drinks were great, got the lychee mule and another one that had strawberry in it? Liked it so much we tried to come back the second night at a later hour but they were too busy! Overall solid soot, would definitely come back.

Yelp
Met up with some out of town friends visiting for the holidays here. Id seen the brand but never had them so looked forward to trying it out. When we got there looked like there was still another hour for happy hour so we decided to get what was on that menu. I ordered the seaweed salad, a beef leaf taco, Korean pork tacos, and chicken skewers. Ill start with my least favorite which was the salad. Now while i like seaweed salad at times there is somewhat of an ocean/fishy after taste to it which i'm usually fine with, esp because seaweed salad typically also has a sweet/tangy flavor that usually covers the ocean taste pretty well... in this case not at all.. there was no sweet and tangy flavor and it smelled and tasted very fishy. i took like 2 bites and gave the rest to my friend that didn't mind the flavor. The Beef leaf taco tasted good although u dont get much it wasnt a problam at the happy hour price point. The pork tacos tasted very good and you get 2 of them. The chicken skewers were also good and cooked perfectly. I also had a chance to try some of my friends shishito peppers and i loved them. Service for the most part was good and I liked the look and feel of the restaurant. Not mad at all with our decision to meet up there.

Yelp
The food here is fresh and innovative. You cant go wrong. Everything is delish. My go to best crispy rice on miami beach

Yelp
The good: happy hour all summer long. Good drinks under $10. Spacious restaurant. The ok: food is fine! Not great but not inedible. The bad: service. The waiter never brought menus, we had to ask. Our water wasn't refilled once. I asked for water for the table (six people) and the waiter came over and only filled my glass. Weird! When the check came he didn't ring up our drinks under the HH pricing and we had to ask for that to be fixed. In summary: a solid place to have drinks and a few plates as a snack. I would skip trying to eat a meal here. And don't expect much service wise.

Yelp
What a fun spot! I visited with some of my Asian friends (whom I trust with any good Asian spot) and was very glad we stopped here during Art Basel. Ambience was great, the service was excellent, and the food was good. We were a large group, but wanted to share our plates -- tapas-style. I loved the tacos and sashimi. The seaweed salad was also so refreshing. I loved the truffle sauce we used for the sashimi. I was less impressed however by the fried rice because there was almost no meat or shrimp in each bowl we ordered. Overall, would consider coming back again.

Yelp
Really great roll and overall experience! Would def recommend and will be coming back soon for more. Great sushi option in the grove

Yelp
My favorite Sushi Garage location! Sushi was fresh and just so yummy. Feels very intimate and not obnoxiously loud like similar places on the beach. Service was excellent and personal. Easily one of the best, most varied and fun happy hour spots in Miami Beach.

Yelp
I stopped by this past Saturday afternoon for a "pre-travel" party for another friend. Located in the restaurant row of West Avenue away from the touristy areas, the low lighting and exposed structure give Sushi Garage a great vibe for a casual dinner get-together. The background music was at a good enough volume for conversation. With my well-known shellfish allergies, I can say that the place is clean and well-ventilated, with even the manager checking in on cross-contamination and pointing out their dishes that were cooked separately. Besides my well-blended & nicely garnished Sunset Colada (Cruzan dark rum, passion fruit and coconut mixer), I also enjoyed a generous teriyaki chicken dish. The meat was pretty juicy, and a pretty decent amount of sauce as well as a bed of noodles. I would definitely recommend for a nice evening out.

Yelp
Although called Sushi Garage, the sushi itself was disappointing so was the service. Good appetizers though - would come back only for the Chili dumplings.

Yelp
Went for Happy Hour with 5 other friends and the place was nice and lively. My friend and I initially sat at the bar to grab a drink before we got our table and we got the spicy lychee one which was delicious. The bar tender was also very good and quick to get our drinks. Once we got our table they offered to transfer the tab to the table but I closed mine there since I was paying cash. When we sat down the server we got, helped us with choosing some popular items from the HH menu, and even came back to get the last call order for food and drinks before HH ended. Would definitely come back to this place. It was a great and easy experience.

Yelp
GREAT happy hour and inviting vibes. I stopped by here to read and avoid the terrible Miami traffic home and sat at the bar. They have $7 specialty cocktails and 1/2 off all alcoholic beverages every day from 5-8 pm. The bartender was great and the food was delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Sorry ... but the PRICE and the QUANTITY provided in the restaurant is a no-go for me. If you are going to charge me those prices, give me a substantial amount of sushi. The sushi tacos that they provided were smaller than my pinky, as was the salmon avocado order that we got. Save yourself some money, until they reduce prices or increase quantity, and go to Sushi Maki, which is a 5 minute walking distance (or go to Hialeah where they have the excellent sushi place called SushiRiko).

Yelp
This place is very hip and clean with high quality Miami/asian fusion food. I was delighted to find out the night a had dinner it was happy hour all night long! Lots of great options to choose. Nice whiskey selection from Yamasaki and Hibiki 21 years to American bourbons.

Yelp
Love this place! It is my favorite beach happy hour by far! The weather is finally nice so I decided to sit outside and was craving their dumplings They are super delicate and flavorful. They add a lot of crushed red peppers so if you don't like too spicy then I suggest ordering them on the side. The Café is spectacular in nice weather and happy hour is everywhere! Super nice Serbian server and super fast service. Everything was outstanding as usual and this happy hour is one of the top on the beach!
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly staff. 4 stars as the crispy avocado rice was a bit bland yes it's crunchy but felt a bit over cooked. Great sashimi and overall very nice ambiance. Look forward going again and trying a few rolls.
google avatar

Yelp
10/10! The lychee martini was the best I've ever had. The appetizers were phenomenal and the rolls were a perfect size and super fresh and yummy. The miso soups were hot and delicious. I'm obsessed with the quality of the sushi here. The restaurant inside is also very nice and decorated very creative and fun.

Yelp
Sushi Garage is known for their happy hour! Every day 5pm to 8pm. Yep they do pack the house but I'm not sure it's really a good deal. The portions are certainly smaller to match the price so you might as well order the full size and less plates unless you want to do tapas style with friends. I've been here twice already. I'd say dishes are hit or miss. If you come here often enough, you'll know exactly what to order and what not to. I liked the shrimp skewer, seaweed salad, and the sushi! But I'll never order the yaki soba noodles..they were sour and bland. I can skip on the watery shrimp dumplings too. They need to be drained properly ;) The waiter completely messed up our order but was nice enough to fix all the mistakes. Besides that he was attentive and always filled up our water glasses. I'm a fan of the decor though! Garage feel (matching the name) but with lots of floating fish in the ceiling. Cool concept

Yelp
I stopped by on a random Tuesday night for happy hour and boy was I in for a surprise! The happy hour had great deals and every single item I tried was delicious! The dumpling soup and chicken tacos were next level! Definitely recommend and can't wait to go Again!

Yelp
Meh. On the upside I've definitely had worst. The downside is that I paid $80+ for very average sushi. And that was during happy hour. If you want good sushi go to uchi.
google avatar

Zaneta R.

Yelp
Came for Happy Hour and it was just just OK. I would recommend going back to happy hour for drinks but not necessarily for the rolls because for the rolls you only get like 4 to 5 pieces and I feel like that's just not really enough not even to share with other people that join you for happy hour the drinks were tasty. They had a variety of drinks, different types of alcohol so in that regard I would go back

Yelp
Fantastic happy hour and within easy walking distance from our hotel. Pup friendly patio too! Wow, reservations are necessary and there was a line to check in for seating at 5.30 on a Friday. Beautiful dining room that opens to allow fresh air inside, patio seating wound around the outside. Our 5.30pm reservation was stop 1 on our SoBe progressive dinner during our 1 nite in town . Great way to sample their menu and parties were partaking in the half priced drinks and discount food items. Mixed clientele, Miami chic, families, locals, and us the obvious tourists with bright colors on, ha! Vespa parking and some area street parking nearby. Everything was awesome, my HH favs were the tuna sashimi, salmon avocado roll that had a yummy taste profile of a twinge of sweet and salt. In fact, I order 2 of those half rolls! Hubby enjoyed his shrimp tempura bites tacos and fried avocado with fresh grated ginger and daikon served on the side of the tempura dipping sauce. The delicate shrimp chili dumplings with fresh microgreens that brightened the flavor were a delicious surprise! Service was awesome, table limit time was 1.5 hours, ample time for us,v and the team service kept the food and drinks to the crowd moving right along. Similar to other places, 18% gratuity is included and we added more to recognize their hard work and smiles. Oh, $25 reservation fee to hold your spot that is refundable if cxl in advanced. Not charged to us or applied to meal.

Yelp
Decided to go to their happy hour on a Sunday which is everyday from 5:30-8pm. Ordered 2 orders of their salmon avocado roll $6 and spicy tuna roll $8. During their happy hour it is half of their normal roll. Felt like 4 rolls wasn't that much and their happy hour deals only seemed to be a couple dollars off from their normal prices. Overall our waiter was very attentive and nice and our food came out quick. The rolls itself were delicious and our favorite was the spicy tuna roll.
google avatar

Eddie E.

Yelp
Mmmm what to say and how to say it. I will start by saying our waitress was very pleasant and nice. The food was okay, and pretty expensive but not impressive. I think a lot of cheaper, less showy restaurants do it 10 times better. I will say I love the venue and the layout and I loved the booths.
google avatar

Ruth A.

Yelp
The two stars are for the funny server with beautiful curly hair and the white peach margarita, which he recommended. We went specifically for the happy hour and the edamame was the same $10 that it was on the regular menu. I'm also pretty sure the online menu is inaccurate. The avocado roll I received was the thinnest, least filling roll I've had. It was $7 for 6 miniature pieces of sushi. Publix has better quality and more decently sized avocado rolls for the same price. I paid $27 (outrageous) for two mini sushi rolls and the margarita. $27 is the price I had to pay to learn to never come back but don't make the same mistake as me.

Yelp
Second time here was improved from a food perspective because I knew how to navigate the menu better (stuck with mostly sushi). The sushi here is fresh and flavorful. Rice in the sushi dishes was well cooked and moist. They do have some nice, unique rolls and flavor combinations. The ingredients are on the higher quality side. I enjoyed the uni (sea urchin) and Rosemary eel roll the most. The shishito peppers and shrimp soup were average (friend inspired). I wasn't feeling the cold octopus dish my friend ordered either but it wasn't bad, I just wasn't feeling it tonight. The snow crab roll was good, though I was expecting a bit more flavor. I initially started this off as a five for this visit but had to drop a star on two fronts. One: they were hesitant sitting us as a walk in despite a number of open tables. We had to wait at the bar for a few minutes and then we're seated a little after. All this after a big fuss about not having a reservation, which mind you on the popular app requires a $25 per seat credit card hold and had tons of time slots available. Management: this is silly. Second, after breaking down my review a bit, I can't say all dishes here are winners. It's about a 3.5 menu, easy 4 if you stick to the sushi or they can improve the non pure sushi options. 5 if management can figure out the seating flow and booking better.
google avatar

Johanna S.

Yelp
I came here for happy hour and had a wonderful experience. We made sure to make a reservation because the place gets very busy. There are some outdoor tables and a very large indoor area with super high ceilings and large open windows so it get lots of ventilation. I guess from the name it used to be an actual garage. The food was delicious. We ordered a lot of different things. One of my favorites was the salmon sashimi and the tacos. Prices are very reasonable and the ambiance is great. Street parking is not terrible and there is also a parking garage nearby.
google avatar

Ray S.

Yelp
Best happy hour in Miami hands down. 6-8pm daily - pretty much their whole menu is half off during this time. The food is great (in comparison to other HH spots). Don't skip the dumpling soup, crispy rice, and spicy tuna roll. Service is hit or miss, but the servers are super friendly in my opinion. The ambiance is laidback & is a mix of locals and tourists. Make a rez, it definitely gets packed.

L E.

Yelp
The Happy Hour on South Beach was crowded and delicious. I'm not sure why they closed as I never remember an empty seat. Sorry to see them go.
google avatar

TheOnlyReview C.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, had a reservation and they tried to pull tjat wait at the bar even though they had 4 tables open. When i asked the very large body positivity woman why we couldnt be seated. She said because those tables were for large parties of 6 or 8 and would not seat us because we were three. She said they had reservations but lied. Cause we were waiting for 20 min an no one ever Came. After we were seated the waitress was frustrated that we asked questions about the menu. She rudely walked away in mid sentence. Food not great. Their choices are not that great. They had no dumplings. And their soy sauce tasted wierd AF. This was the most boring overpriced sushi place ever. The only thing good Were the pork tacos. To top it off when we asked for spicy mayor or eel sauce they said sure for an Extra $3 per Sauces. Wtf? Are you guys like Wendy's lol. Also the music sucked. By the way even after we finished the 4 tables that were empty remained empty and no One ever sat down! Had 2 rolls, one pork taco and two diet cokes and still Wound up Paying over $160

Zelda R.

Yelp
Went for Happy Hour and advertised prices did not match the bill. It says online that Avocado Tempura and Korean Beef Taco are $9 and we were charged $10. Also some items advertised at $6.50 we were charged $7.

Yelp
Great sushi :) I've been in this place many times and every time I visit sushi garage I get the same flavours, same beautiful presentation... that means consistency! We love that :) We're a party of 4 and we decided to share some plates and 1 one us took the Miami spice which was amazing!!!! Everything was delicious but I have to mention that this time service was terrible, very low, and completely confused (runners delivering wrong orders all the time). I don't know if happened because they were full house but it need extra attention during service. I wait 20 min to get a glass of water. :( Anyhow that was my only concern really. Public parking availabe. Dress code: casual chic

Yelp
Love love love Sushi Garage, first time ever at the Miami Beach location and it didn't disappoint either. They have one of the best happy hours in Miami, especially their Lychee Mule or Lychee Martini. The service was great, sat at the bar and the staff was very attentive as we ordered little by little. Tried all the skewers, the chicken being my favorite. The ambiance is similar to the other location, perfect assemble of different voices all having a good time.
google avatar

Vancy S.

Yelp
Great happy hour! The ambiance is fun and hip. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. I loved the scallop leaf taco! The lychee mule was perfect. If you are in the area definitely stop by. Prices were great for happy hour.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is crowded on Friday evening - with good reason. Make a reservation! The rolls are great. The fried chicken taco was tasty. The menu has somethibg for everyone. The "shrimp bites'" were the best. The cocktails are great and the service friendly. A great place to go for a casual night out with good food,
google avatar

Yelp
If wine & saki have equal alcohol content how come a wine glass pour is a full glass vs glass of sake a shot size? This is a legitimate question. Happy hour is a scam & bartender wasn't very friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Good happy for drinks, small portions for food, however the ambiance was good. Great service

Yelp
Miami Beach's favorite spot. You can't go wrong with this menu and our server was the best! Be sure to stop by though the end of September to catch their Miami Spice specials! Until next time...

Yelp
Service is great, food is consistently good, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Great place for a date night or dinner with friends.

Yelp
We came here upon recommendation from the bartender at National Hotel and we were not disappointed! Their happy hour is fantastic, 1/2 sushi rolls for $6-$8 (4 pieces), very fresh seaweed salad, and outstanding miso soup! The service was very fast with food coming out quickly after ordering and an attentive staff removing excess plates and trash. The environment was very nice with cute decorations and furnishings. I would definitely recommend their happiest happy hour to friends and family!

Yelp
Did not realize this was a chain restaurant at first. My bad, I looked it up on my phone and had navigation take me to the wrong place. But after a brief embarrassing moment, I went to the right location. This is a happening place; loud, young, lots of energy, and most definitely a place to meet friends. I thought the menu dish selections we chose were good, along with the service.

Yelp
Great food, quick service, love this place! Try the fried sushi rice....tasty I do not like sushi but my family does. I find plenty of stuff to eat being non sushi eater

We visited two nights ago and really wanted to like SG after checking out the Yelp reviews...unfortunately the service was underwhelming We booked a reservation via open table for 8:30 PM which was right after their happy hour. The restaurant was packed when we arrived and we were seated immediately. The table wasn't wiped down as it was still sticky from the previous diners. Every part of our service was 15-20 minute intervals. 15 minutes: Wait for the server to return to take our orders 15 minutes: Edmame arrives 15 minutes: Chicken Dumpling arrives. This dish is more vegetables versus dumplings. The dumplings themselves were small but pretty tasty. 15 minutes: Garage Roll and Yaki Soba noodles arrives. Garage Roll: This was more or less a loaded philadelphia roll topped with onions that was ok. Yaki Soba Noodles: Best dish we had here for the night. 15 minutes: Orders mochi for dessert 15 minutes : Server returns asking if we received our desserts 15 minutes: We get our mochis 15 minutes: We ask for the bill 15 minutes: We get the bill The wide open dining area is attractive with Japanese inspired art hanging from the ceilings throughout. Contemporary design makes for a very cool and artsy vibe to dine in. There were plenty of chefs but I think they didn't bring in enough servers to cover the happy hours and the late dinner visitors later? I don't know if the slow service was because of our server or operations not setup correctly for management but I hope they do better in the future. I'm not sure if we'll be back but if you're reading this in the restaurant, may the odds forever be in your favor. Cheers!

Yelp
Visit: first Food: Dumpling soup: perfectly hot and savory flavory Yaki soba: has a spice and kind of minty flavor sausage: hands down my favorite, so delicious and savory, not greasy Veggie roll: my fav roll, so fresh Loved the avocado and salmon on crispy rice, never had it definitely recommend My husbands favorite was the hamachi dish which is REALLY spicy but he couldnt stop raving about it Atmosphere: nice open space, lots of seating indoor and out, the kitchen is open so you can see everyone work, cool paper fish decor coming from ceiling, good music and has a very city home lunch vibe; if that makes sense Staff: everyone so nice! We met the owner which was very welcoming and Chef Jorge which was extremely professional and sent us some delicious samples! Tips: get there early or reserve, they opened at 5:30pm and we got there at 6 and it was packed! Return: yes!!

Yelp
Sushi garage could never miss in my eyes! Best HH in town. Sat at the bar this time, and they didn't disappoint. My bartender was attentive and informative

Yelp
We have not been here in over a year. The service was terrible. The balding manager and the bar tender were extremely rude to us. We have gone to this location since they opened and the quality of the sushi has really gone down hill. Over priced sushi that is way too expensive. Miami Beach has much better sushi options .... stay away !!
