Food is absolutely wonderful here, one of the best Japanese restaurants in London. There is a wide selection of dishes and there's a choice of sitting at the sushi bar or regular seating. The food is reasonably priced for the very good quality and fair portion size.

Google
i like this place. Sushi is good. I quite like their complicated sushi on the conveyor belt. most of them are sauced though but they're delicious. If you are not up for those you can order simple ones from the menu. The prices are very reasonable. I love their hot sake.

Google
Fresh and tasty sushi on the conveyor belt... The cooked dishes we ordered both a bit too salty, and rather small portions. I wish the menu was more varied. Very welcoming and attentive front of the house and table service. But, all in all, a good place to eat, without being too "fancy". Prices a little bit on the higher side for what it offers, but that's the case with most eateries in Central London...

Google
The Nigiri is so thinly sliced you can see the rice underneath and the sushi rolls on the track have shrunk drastically yet have stayed at the same price. If you’re eating purely off the track you have to spend at least £30 to fill up. I asked the waiter if they had Inari (tofu pockets) and he said no however after I had eaten I saw the chefs put some on the track. The service has also gone downhill with the attentiveness of the servers and the knowledge of the menu. This used to be my favourite sushi place and I considered it mid-range for the portions and options available however I’m not likely to come here again as you can get the same quality at itsu or yo sushi for half the price.

Google
Absolutely lovely. Outstanding service and friendly staff. Exceptional food, served in a swift. I would definitely recommend going here, especially if you want a quick bite.

Google
Great customer service. We had a large birthday party and staff were very accommodating and flexible. Good food, ordered an unagi don and it was delicious.

Google
Got here before it was about to close hoping to grab something warm. Ordered a tempura udon and picked a couple of sushi from the belt. The food was not great, probably because it was close to closing time, but it is way overpriced for what it is.

Amazingly fresh sushi! What a delight to be munching in the beautiful streets of London!! Eating in costs 10%more! Thank you chef and lovely waitress x

Yelp
This place is pretty good!! We went purely for the sushi on a conveyor belt aspect and weren't disappointed. The prices of the sushi are very clearly laid out based on plate color. Anything you don't find on the belt you can ask for, provided it's generally on the belt indicated with a little icon on the menu, and our server was really nice and helpful. I've definitely had better sushi before but the experience was priceless. You can even get beer and sake on the belt. The guys making the sushi are still at the bar just behind the belt and there's seating all the way around. There's so many place to eat in London I'm not sure I'd go back but if you're in the area it's definitely a fun place!!!

Matthew D.

Yelp
Like a posh Yo Sushi. I'm surprised this only has 3.5 stars. It's the same price as yo sushi but the portion sizes are bigger and the ingredients taste more "real". Sit on the bar and enjoy the conveyor belt. I've just got back from Japan myself and this compared easily. All the staff are Japanese too. Great spot for lunch.

Yelp
Just down the street from Holborn tube, this perfectly located Japanese / Korean fusion sushi bar offers stylish food in a welcoming, well decorated ambience and if you're feeling a bit crazy you can also try out the downstairs basement where they hold typically eccentric karaoke nights. We've been for lunch and just propped ourselves up against the bar of rotating dishes and ideally picked whatever we fancied, just by what looks the best. And since as this applies to most of the dishes it is quite difficult to keep a tight reign on the budget. Most plates from the belt range from £3-£7 for 3-6 pieces whilst from the menu expect to pay anything up to £10. I particularly like the salads for a change and they do a lovely Yellow Tail Tuna one that is drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I really recommend Sushi Hiroba for lunch as the intimate interior makes for a really pleasant dining experience, more so than sushi bars such as Yo! and Itsu, whilst the slight twist with the fusion combination offers some interesting flavours.

Rosanne R.

Yelp
One star based on service and sushi. No one knew anything about the menu - you're on your own. Pretty awful service quality and knowledge Food - the hot food was ok. We had a noodle dish, hot stone rice, and gyoza . But the sushi was seriously awful. We left a ton on the table (no one cared to ask). They put cheese on top of the sushi rolls which is incredibly odd and made the rolls difficult to eat. The worst of all was the tuna sashimi which was definitely FROZEN. It had the worst texture. Gross. Seriously I have no idea why people come here.

Jindi S.

Yelp
Located next to our school. Very convenient spot. The hot stone bibimbap with beef I ordered tasted pretty well. The only bad thing was the service, my friend ordered a noodle and waited for almost 1 hour.

Mahy C.

Yelp
We came for dinner on short notice. We ordered a mix of dishes, Korean, ramen and sushi. Everything was excellent. Service was good

Fazan K.

Yelp
Quite an unassuming facade, but once you walk through the doors you realise this place will be a good. We were swiftly met at the entrance and show to a place at the bar. The hostess explained you need a reservation but not if you wish to sit at the carousel. The sushi carousel is quite long and doen't reek of the cheesiness of other places. Food looks and tastes great. I was with a Japanese chef friend of mine who promptly explained all the dishes not familiar to me. Great place already looking forward to coming back.

Lizzie S.

Yelp
Damn it, I almost but not quite gave this place 5 star, and that was just because their toilet was so darn nice! (it's takes a lot to impress me you see!). Actually finding a really clean well looked after bog can be a mission in this part of London, but oh no, not at Sushi Hiroba, where the toilets are superb! Now I have that all sorted let me talk fishy dishys! I really like sushi and i think I chose poorly here as I only had 2 plates and actually was a little too full after trying everyone elses. As far as sushi goes this stuff was lovely. A great selection and totally different from the repetitive rubbish you get at Yo! It's called Fusion food, and I'm not sure really what that is, but it's yummy and a great place to get some tasty food with super attentative staff. £40 for 3? Well I enjoyed myself so I think it was worth it but yes a little on the pricey side. However, this is London!

Laura N.

Yelp
Hmm... Ok. Let me start by saying that I go from completely full to ravenously hungry in a matter of milliseconds. Not 13 minutes after telling Lizzie that I could not possibly force feed myself any more food due to the filling nature of my steel-cut oatmeal breakfast, I was practically gnawing on the leather chair in search of long lost calories. So not having to talk, or smile, or read a menu, or put in a drink order, but rather just stare at the food conveyoring by me, and attack at will much like an animal stalking my prey, was a *HUGE* win for Sushi Hiroba. Huge. Not so sure about the price per plate ratio -- I definitely did not consume 1/3 of a £40 tab. But the fish was fresh, the options were creative enough, and the ambiance was... who am I kidding, I only looked at the food. It's mesmorsing. ...And once again, I'm starving.

Grace L.

Yelp
Central London sush. Head pain. Skepticism. Nervous laughter. Onset of anxiety hives. Trying to make up excuses to stay home. But since Rachie and I have been back here about 45 times now, not only because it's a good central meetup place, I've decided to show this place some love. The fish is fantastically fresh, and with toro on offer...as well as fresh ebi and tasty tobiko/masago rolls, we had little to bitch about. And that's a lot coming from two sushi aficionados. Do come with few people...as tables get taken quite quickly, and opt for the sushi bar. Service isn't the best, as R-deez noted that she was ignored for 30 minutes due to the chez whitey status, but at the bar you can at least help yourself. DO skip the unagi (eel)...super boney, resulting in almost chokage. Not a good look - CHOKEFACE. The cold, hard, gyoza? Why did I still find them tasty enough to take two plates? (???) Price-wise, not too shabby. I always end up spending only £20-30...and that's to get stuffed full of itty bitty rolls made of not-gigantic-slice-o-red-meat!

Dave S.

Yelp
Meh, I've had better sushi. Not sure I understand the rave reviews. Sushi Hiroba is just a really average sushi bar, a notch above a Yo! Sushi, and much like it's futuristic peer Sushi Hiroba also has a conveyer sushi belt. While conveyer belts are a nice novelty they often do not come with quality sushi. The sushi seemed fresh enough and the vegetarian udon soup I ordered hit the spot for a frigid London night. However, the gyoza were too deep fried (it would have been much better if they were steamed and the pan fried). The prices are also reasonably low...making sushi more accessible to all which I suppose in the grand scheme of things has to be worth a few stars.

Chelsea V.

Yelp
After wandering around London for the majority of the evening on our second day of vacation, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon Sushi Hiroba and decided to give it a try. We were immediately drawn in by the restaurant's aesthetics, very niceeeeee. Although we were both starving at the time, I think we were able to agree that it was one of the better restaurants we had been to all week. The service was very fast, and the prices were ideal for our meager traveler pockets. It also doesn't hurt that it's so close to the Holborn tube stop.

Aline D.

Yelp
Just a few minutes from Holborn tube station is Hiroba. Its interior is done very tastefully with dark furniture and large square lantern like lighting hanging from the ceiling. It's clean, fresh, stylish feel makes the dining experience worth while. At the centre of the restaurant is a conveyor belt of food going round slowly, each dish as tempting as the next. This is dangerous as you're just tempted to pick every one. The menu is good, with salads, tofu, soup, sushi, sashimi, katsu, teriyaki, curry, tempura, maki, hand rolls and rolls. And each dish is of decent value as well. I would make a booking for the evenings if you want a decent seat by the bar, as when I went during a week night it was relatively crowed so we were shoved off near the back.

Therese L.

Yelp
I love this place. I'm a huge sushi fan but would never have considered coming here if not for a friend inviting me to dinner. We sat at a table not at the carousel and indulged on a variety of sushi and sashimi, all of which was fresh without any fishy smell to it. I especially like their warm plates which are a brilliant idea for when you want to have sushi and can't eat a whole chicken and rice meal. These guys have you totally covered with their little plates of menu items which ordinarily come as a rice and meat dish but instead are served on a little sushi plate at a fraction of the cost. Brilliant! Sadly I haven't been back here since as it's not really close to anywhere I need to be on a regular basis but next time I'm in Holborn or perhaps visiting the National Gallery, I'll see if it's possible to stop by for lunch. Also, 10% discount for students. Score!

Kay S.

Yelp
I passed Sushi Hiroba many times when I'm around the Holborn area in search of lunch. I do wonder why I never consider it. Deciding to change that, this was the chosen venue when I met up with a friend of mine for lunch. We are both early lunchers and were the first ones seated while the staff were still prepping and getting the place ready. We didn't mind at all and was happy to indulge in the cool air conditioning as it was a rare sunny day. We both enjoyed our food very much, tasty and decent.

Jinny N.

Yelp
So I have just come home from having dinner here with my sister and her boyfriend. I was starving and I said and I quote "I reckon I could eat £50 tonight!" In the end I ended up spending £32 and I'm still hungry (including a green tea and coke). We picked here as we were meeting in Holborn and my sister fancied sushi, I did too once she planted the idea. I found Sushi Hiroba, looked at the website, read a few reviews on here and thought why not. Wish I had read more reviews now, top one I didn't realised was from 2009! My own fault. Where to start, why 2 stars? We arrived at 9ish. It wasn't busy but it took 10 minutes to be seated at the conveyor belt. We had to ask for wasabi and to order drinks, which took ages to arrive. There weren't many options on the belt. All the hot dishes were stone cold. We ordered hand rolls which were quite good, these arrived before our drinks did. The service in here is abysmal. The same dishes kept coming around. Yes we could order off the menu, but the reason for coming to a conveyor belt is to help yourself and stuff your face. My sister's boyfriend wasn't keen on the look of the sushi so ordered a rice dish, which in hide sight I should have done as his bill was half of mine and he was full after. The only redeeming point was the spicy salmon roll, it was delicious. I also had another one called dynamite, which was pretty good too, but the crispy bits had been out too long and were a bit chewy. Lesson learned, should have gone to Kulu Kulu!

Chrissy B.

Yelp
Mmmm Sushi Hiroba is like Yo Sushi, ha got ya! Okay not really at all except for the conveyor belt and plates priced by color. Sushi Hiroba on the other hand has much more selection in sushi, sashimi, maki and even cooked food that you can order by waitress or if your lucky to see it, by pulling it off the conveyor as it passes you by. I tried their sushi, maki and a specialty roll and all were tasty, fresh and, something that always makes me happy good sized (the sushi and sashimi are really quite big which makes them even more of a value). I'm not a huge fan of this by the plate idea since it can really rack up cost-wise easily but this place is PERFECT for people who want to bring a non-sushi eating friend to try a piece or two (viva variety) and for those who just want to sit down for some quality sushi at reasonable prices. Just a note: this place can get quite busy for lunch so when you're done you will have to flag down your waitress to get your bill, not a trouble to me but if you're someone who wants attentive waiter service, then this might not be your spot at least during busy times. Certainly for me this will be my go to spot whenever I am in the area, so glad to finally be finding some better quality sushi in London!

Linda S.

Yelp
I found this below average. Service wasn't great. I checked in on yelp app and a offer on my phone come up for something like 10% off which was nice to see. When I went to pay the lady gave me attitude saying they don't do yelp anymore and they didn't want to honor the 10% off... umm well you give students a discount so why can't you do it? its not a huge amount but its the fact they didn't want to honor something which was an agreement between yelp and them... if they don't do yelp offers anymore thats for them to contact yelp. Its not my problem... needless to say the sushi was below average and wasn't worth the money I paid for it. I don't know why this place has as many stars as it did. The quality of the sushi was not great. Im not coming back. Plus I just read below about someone getting food poisoning from this place...hmmm...NO......End of story.

Christine W.

Yelp
It's actually a combination of Japanese and Korean restaurant with a big kaiten-sushi conveyor in the middle. Food was good, the katsu don I ordered was yummy, the same sauce flavor as I had in Japan. But the size was bit small for its prices and ingredients in a bowl was not varied enough. It was quite packed during lunch time but the waiters seemed to pay no attention to the long queue, strolling around the restaurant and didn't even try to speed up their services

Shelley S.

Yelp
For one thing, the price is really good for the quality. I love sushi and even though I love 30 minutes away in East London, I often come here for takeout on the way home from school. I've sat in before and service was quick, even when my friends were randomly ordering bits and pieces. The 10% off student discount doesn't hurt either. You wouldn't think it would be so good from the outside, but give it a chance. There is a sushi carousel and mostly bar seating there, which I try to avoid because I know I will spend way too much if it rolls by me. Unlike some of the other reviews from a while ago, I love it here. I am from New York and not having relatively inexpensive sushi at my beck and call is difficult. I quite like this place. It has tobiko sushi on the menu, which isn't everywhere. Now if only they opened up nearer to me. Also note, it's open until 10:30 on Sundays, when almost nothing else is. This past Sunday I went in at 9pm and it was packed. I also like when I see a majority of Asian diners in a sushi restaurant because, as my Japanese best friend back in NYC told me, it's a good sign that you will like it.

Tyn R.

Yelp
I do not like this place. Me and my mates met up and googled the closest japanese restaurant we could find in Holborn. We ended up here (unfortunately). Visually, it was good... but that's it. I had high hopes for the food. I decided on the sushi off the conveyor belt, whilst my friends decided on ordering hot food. I can only speak for the sushi, which was STALE and a complete rip off! The service wasn't that great either. I will not be returning. That. Is. All.

Sandy K.

Yelp
Hiroba is located just right outside Holborn tube station. Very convenient location, easy to spot. Went to hiroba for a couple of times for lunch. They do authentic Japanese food, love the eel hand roll so much. Very juicy sashimi and very delicious don. Great value of food. Worth going if you want to try the experience of having sushi on conveyor belt. it gets quite busy at night though, you'd better make reservation before you go.

Grant T.

Yelp
We stopped in here to grab a quick bite on a Saturday night before heading to a Christmas party. They are very quick, but mostly because it's one of those sushi bar restaurants where the food is put out on sushi boats and you can grab plates of food for varying prices. We weren't near the sushi boats, so we ordered off the menu. We ordered: 12 piece sashimi 2 piece Tamago nigiri 6 piece tempura vegetables 3 piece tempura soft shell crab Spicy tuna roll So the service is pretty good, we could get the attention of the servers quite easily even though we were tucked into a corner. Food-wise, the sashimi was probably one of the best things. The salmon was great and the scallops were delicious. The tuna and hamachi were okay. The Tamago was nice. The tempura vegetables were a bit undercooked. The soft shell crab was also tasty. The spicy tuna roll was kind of disappointing. It's almost as if the rolls are made up really far in advance (even the ones you order), as the rice was just a bit wrong. So if I need a quick dinner and I'm in the area, I might come back. But we'd probably just order a lot of scallop sashimi and soft shell crab. With the amount of good sushi restaurants in London, it's hard to justify coming back.

David K.

Yelp
Sushi bars are not as popular here in London as it is back home. Read the yelp reviews and picked this place. I must say I am in agreement with most on Yelp.UK that this place is above average and a place I would revisit. They didn't have my favorite dish (Masago - Smelt Roe) but recommended a good subsitute (Tobiku - Flying Fish Roe). The service was attentive however the selection in my mind was somewhat limited. I suppose that's what you get from a Japanese restaurant that has more than just sushi on the menu. All in all, a great place to get sushi in London.

Jessica S.

Yelp
The meal was tasty. The seafood was fresh. the portions were a little small for the price though and the ambience was lacking.

Vivien L.

Yelp
I try to avoid this place, but with limited dining options around Holborn inevitably I do end up here. The sushi selection is limited, not great, and its "freshness" is questionable. I usually stick to the hot food - the chicken katsu curry with rice which seems to be a safe option. Service is brusque and at times rude...you're better off going to Itsu around the corner for cheaper, and arguably better sushi!

Qype User (almost…)

Yelp
Hiroba is the kind of place that I would call the perfect sushi restaurant. The fish tasted succulent, the service was efficient, it was absolutely fantastic and delicious. With the plus point of being slightly more welcoming and bigger than Kulu Kili. I'm definitely coming back!

Christina G.

Yelp
When a friend suggested this place for a weeknight dinner, I reluctantly agreed and had very low expectations because the website makes it sound like Yo! Sushi, which is fine for takeout or at the airport but not how I'd choose to spend £30 and a social evening. However, the comfortable but stylish decor and surprisingly good sushi won me over. It's probably realistically more of a 3.5 star place, but they get a bump because they had uni, which is hard to find in London (albeit insanely expensive uni - £5 for one piece! I'd never pay that in DC or NYC, but in London, Soviet rules apply to sea urchin). The menu is pretty Westernized, but they have more of the weird things that I like than the average London sushi joint. We ordered a lot of sushi and small dishes for our group of four - all a la carte as we didn't sit by the conveyor belt (because who knows how long those little plates have been scooting around the loop?). I mostly went for sashimi - amaebi (sweet prawn) and surf clam, plus my overpriced but delicious (OK, not the best I've ever had - it would pass muster in NYC but probably not Tokyo) uni. The sashimi I ordered all had very generous portions - nice big pieces. I also had soba noodle soup and seaweed salad, both of which were good. My husband's toro looked nice. One friend got the big chicken curry, which was in fact big. They have a reasonably-priced wine list - we went for an unoaked Aussie chardonnay called Woolloomooloo, partly because the name was fun to say (it's named after an area in Sydney if memory serves). The prices here are reasonable - perhaps they cater to students, as it's not far from LSE and some other universities - although a lot of the people there were in suits. For the four of us, the bill came to just over £120 including a bottle of wine and a few beers, and we were all quite full. I'd probably come back here for a low-key dinner with friends - nothing on the menu is groundbreaking or earth-shattering, but it's fresh, reasonably well-made and reasonably priced with pretty nice decor and friendly staff.

Sophie E.

Yelp
Yum yum YUM! My favourite Sushi in London. Once you go Hiroba, you don't go back. It's more expensive than most places, but not by much, and the ambience and decor are flawless. I love the now-standard conveyor belt that runs the delicate sushi plates around the room and under your nose to make you drool and eat until you can't eat no more, as the song says! The food is always fresh and delicious. This is not Yo! (bear in mind, if you eat at Hiroba, you will never go back to Yo. Truly. Your tastebuds won't let you waste money like that... I tried...) I'd definitely recommend a visit to Hiroba. Delicious!! And if you're feeling adventurous, at the end of the meal try their banana sushi. Very odd, but very good!! Reviewed June 2010: Having been to several more sushi places, and then back to Hiroba, I am now of the opinion that they use much too much sauce / mayo in their rolls. Which makes me reluctant to go back, as it tends to drown the other flavours (not to mention have fat)...

Qype User (theku…)

Yelp
Sushi Hiroba is a bit of a fusion mixture of Korean and Japanese flavours, apparently inspired (or at influenced) by westcoast stateside sushi places. They have both a sushi train and tables and if you go early enough, you don't have to worry too much about booking. The prices do add up after a while, but for the most part, the quality seems to be high and, in general, pretty worth it. If you're seeing some show in the area, it's a much better alternative to the Yo Sushi chains around but nowhere near the same quality as some of the more authentic Japanese places hidden on either side of Regent Street.

Duncan M.

Yelp
Loved the food here. You can sit at the sushi bar or get a table. Prawns were super. Price is not bad either. We were tucked away round the corner so service was not amazing. Will go back one day.

Schuyler K.

Yelp
Awesome conveyor belt sushi! So many things going by to tempt you, and great service. We ordered some hot things from the menu like tempura in addition to choosing gyoza, maki, and whatever else we wanted from the belt. Try the chocolate mochi for dessert---it's cold and warm and chewy and creamy at once. It's like the ultimate umami experience.

Yelp
As a sushi novice, I was ushered in by my more experience freind and have to say was a little nervous. A little bit dark and secretive inside I wasn't sure what to expect. However, my love of sushi really has turned into a love of Shushi Hiroba, as this really is the best place to get Sushi in London. A little pricey, but so worth it. Their Sashimi is without doubt the highest quality I have tasted, particularly the scallops and tuna, and their hand rolls expertly created. they have the usual train, and more intimate tables, and I have heard they are partial to a spot of karaoke on a few pre booked nights. Marvellous!

Dom C.

Yelp
I was desperate for something to eat while Christmas shopping in Covent Garden and Sushi Hiroba looked just the place. I love miso soup and eel so couldn't resist ordering the "soft shell crab miso soup" and "whole eel bbq" and I was not disappointed at all - they were both delicious. The sushi travelling around the conveyor belt looked amazing too, but I was so full by the time I'd eaten my soup and eel that there was no space left to try any. Service was OK but nothing special, however the general ambience was spot on. I was exhausted from Christmas shopping but sitting there by the conveyor belt relaxing and watching the amazing dishes float past in the chilled lighting was most pleasant. I hope I get the opportunity to visit again before next Christmas!

Victoria D.

Yelp
DO NOT COME HERE. STAY AWAY. My two friends and I ate at the carousel last night....one of my friends started to feel queasy soon after we left the restaurant. The other maybe two hours later. I thought I was fine until I sprinted out of bed at 3 am to vomit. The result...all three of us spent the entire night and most of today hugging the toilet and cursing Sushi Hiroba. Never before have I experienced food poisoning so terrible. The sushi looked suspicious and it tasted pretty mediocre (fishy) as well. Seriously, don't come here. Don't take the chance. The sleepless night full of cold sweats, shivering, vomit, and much more is just not worth it.

Becky F.

Yelp
This place was pretty good for a sushi-fix in Central London. The prices were very reasonable, and the sushi was good, although not great. The rolls were either VERY simple (only tuna inside a roll) or incredibly complex, with lots of sauces. There weren't very many rolls that were somewhere in between. The edamame wasn't great, but the tempura was very good. A decent choice for what it is, but not exceptional.

Ally W.

Yelp
I don't know why, whenever I see conveyer belt sushi, I think it is going to be a not-so-impressive sushi restaurant. It might be different in Japan, but I have never been wrong in US or UK using that rule. Sushi Hiroba is no exception. I went with a large group of friends, so we tried their a-la-carte menu. They offer a mix of Japanese and Korean food. I ordered some rolls and I just remembered they were not so good. It was quite cheap by London standard, but for good Japanese food, you usually have to pay more.

Marcello S.

Yelp
My favourite sushi place in London. Prices are reasonable, food is very good and the service is kind and fast. We have been there many time and were never disappointed. Only downside, it is closed on Saturdays (maybe that changed in the meanwhile)

Robert H.

Yelp
This Japanese Restaurant on Kingsway tempted me for a long time since I walk by everyday. It's interior design and cosy atmosphere give a positive first impression. However, the service quickly changed this impression when they did not provide us with a menu and we constantly had to fight for the staff's attention. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen, since I love spicy and ramen soup (what could go wrong?). To my dismay, the soup had no flavour and tasted just spicy. The vegetables and chicken didn't seem too fresh either. In my frustration I ordered the spicy tuna roll. The roles were oversized (in a bad way - impossible to eat) and had (the same?) unpleasant taste. The overall quality of the ingredients (rice, cucumbers) were not impressive. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at Sushi Hiroba.

Ulrike S.

Yelp
Really great sushi and salad. Very fast and very friendly service. The sushi is twice as big as in any other sushi place I've ever been to! You can decide between the sushi train and service at a table.

Yelp
Well, this is far better than Kulu kulu.... there are variety of sushi here. Some of them are good but some are bad as well so, you better be carefully when you're choosing.

Yelp
This restaurant used to be my one of favorite. But not any more since last year. The sashimi is not fresh, the noodles and rice are even worse. I would only recommend the mochi and ice cream after all. I will try to avoid this place, and will not longer bring frds.

Yelp
I'm going to start this review off by calling myself a convinced sushi aficionado. Japanese food is easily one of my favorites, and merely seeing a Japanese Restaurant wherever I go gets me excited. As such, and because it's so close to where I work, I've had the chance to go not once, but three times with coworkers. My thoughts after these three experiences? Well, overall, it's definitely a good place to get a bite, since the food is pretty delicious. But something seems to be off-putting... the service was passable at best, maybe? Of the awful lighting? The fact that I've had way better sushis before? Whatever it may be, this is an average Japanese restaurant. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Yelp
Nice food and great value. Compared to Yo sushi, this restaurant is much more better. They also got some Korean food like bimbimbab and their mochi ice-cream is a great treat.

Yelp
DO NOT COME. Myself and two of my friends all got food poisoning. Spent the next 36 hours throwing up, dizzy, queasy, and with explosive diarrhea. Need I say more?

Yelp
The dumplings were hard & cold, & not a good selection of sushi for the price you pay. We actually booked a room for Karaoke, and apparently the Karaoke & the Sushi place were under different Management. How were we supposed to know that? We didnt get a a Memo, nor was there a sign informing customers about it. The funny thing is it wasnt a big deal, first we wanted to order food downstairs for the karaoke room, they told us we have to order upstairs and bring it down. Some of us decided to just go upstairs and eat and some of us wanted to eat down. The manager got pissed about this?!! Was very rude in the way he talked to us. For some reason he was getting frustrated, i guess he shouldnt be in the service industry, if he cant deal with people or be flexible. But we went the classy way and explained to him that there was no need to be rude, and that we werent aware it was under different management. They are inflexible, even in terms of paying the bills. We wanted to pay our own bill, but they asked us that one of us should pay for all the drinks....???WTF? They are bunch of inefficient, rude bunch of people providing bad customer service.
