Unbeatable sushi—totally worth it! I had the salmon sashimi, bluefin tuna, salmon sushi, and the salmon super crunch, and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The quality blew me away—honestly better than any sushi I’ve had in Atlanta. What really impressed me is that the taste and quality far exceeded the price. It’s rare to find sushi this good at such a reasonable cost. The cozy sushi bar atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Paired it all with a cold Asahi, and it was perfect. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Classic Japanese restaurant. The fish quality is on par with the very expensive restaurants in town. This is just a no frills really solid sushi spot. We typically order the fried octopus appetizer and 21 pieces of Sashimi. We get out the door for around $100. I'd be willing to bet they have the same fish suppliers as Umai and Eight. Service is generally quick and the service is good.

I really enjoyed the food here! I tried two different rolls and they were both incredibly fresh and had amazing flavors. I can’t wait to come back!

This was my first experience at Sushi Huku Japanese Restaurant, and the atmosphere was great. I ordered the Dragon Roll, and it was delicious. I also tried the citrus iced tea, which had a unique flavor, but I liked it. The Dragon Roll comes with eel sauce drizzled on top, which was the perfect amount to complement the tasty roll. The music they played was great too, at just the right volume. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

This is a hidden gem!! The sushi is so fresh with a pretty good selection. We were in on a Monday evening and the only ones there. Should be packed with how good it is! Left to right: Baled Salmon, New Paige, and Geisha

We were here as part of our 35th wedding anniversary celebration in Atlanta. Jenny was an outstanding server and met every need we had perfectly. The sushi was amazing, the beverage selection was awesome, and we totally enjoyed the atmosphere. Interestingly, about 37 or 38 years ago, I was the senior law clerk for the attorney who helped get this restaurant its liquor license. So, I remembered the place and wanted to see if it was still in business and still good. I was thrilled to find it was still in business and still absolutely one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever enjoyed.

I have been here multiple times over the years but I won't be back after my most recent experience. I have some excellent sushi spots in Atlanta, but they are expensive and I wanted to go somewhere that had good sushi but would not cost an arm and a leg. Sushi Huku apparently is not that place. There were 5 of us and we each had an appetizer and sushi rolls. There were 2 glasses of wine. Our bill was over $400. I would not be as turned off by the price if everyone enjoyed their meals but my wife never got one of her rolls and when she mentioned it to the waiter to told her it had come out already and did not offer to get her a roll. If it had come out, it looked nothing like what she thought she ordered. Also, the crab was not edible and went untouched. The sushi itself was not bad at all. But it wasn't worth the money. This place has been around a long time, in an area with not a lot of selection for sushi. It's old Atlanta and probably why it's lasted so long. Now, there are many better options.

We had a party of 4 for dinner at 7:45 pm on Monday, 3/25/24. We were seated right away. Plenty of parking. Quick service. Very chill, especially on a Monday night. I wore leggings and sneakers—very casual. We all split 2 appetizers and 7 rolls and it was the perfect amount of food. We could’ve gotten away with only 1 appetizer. We got Gyoza and Edamame, which were both great. For sushi, we got New Paige, Lambada, Pink Lady, Geisha, Tiger Eye, Home Depot, Super Crunch. The New Paige was definitely our favorite. The only one I personally wouldn’t get again was Tiger Eye. But seriously, everything was amazing. It came out to $32 per person, which is super reasonable. We all agree that we can’t wait to go back! Highly, highly recommend!

Yelp
Being Japanese this is on point with Japanese cooking! The fish will never be Japanese quality especially this far from the ocean, but the other dishes here are pretty much what you'll get in Japan. Price could def be a little lower but it's worth it when it's this authentic. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
I came here last night for an 8pm dinner reservation to celebrate one of my friends' birthdays. We were a party of 10 and the restaurant was not super busy, save for a couple other tables. We took a couple minutes to decide on our orders, but our server was very patient and made no mistakes. I ordered the Pork Gyoza, Nabeyaki Udon, and the Matcha pound cake for dessert. Let me preface this by saying I've had better Japanese food in Atlanta, but that this place wasn't BAD. It was just "okay". The gyoza filling was tasty, but the wrap itself was quite dry. The udon was very warm and had a ton of noodles inside, but there was 1 singular shrimp tempura, two fish cakes, and maybe ten or so pieces of slightly overcooked chicken. Still a decent bowl of hot soup noodles. Finally, the matcha cake wasn't spectacular but I enjoyed the sweet treat at the end of my meal.

Yelp
I love their baked salmon rolls. I'm so glad they are now offering sit down dine in again, but sad that they are not offering lunch anymore. They have always been consistent and while service can be slow sometimes, the food makes up for it. Overall, I would recommend.

Yelp
Top notch sushi! So so fresh & the service was excellent. Price point was very good as well! When we first walked in we were seated pretty quickly & the place was packed. They also do to-go orders and you could see many people had ordered. Highly recommend! Bathrooms were clean & restaurant was clean as well.

Yelp
We chose this place to try because of the good reviews (4+ stars). The server was very police and the atmosphere was really nice, quiet and intimate. I must say, the service was very slow even though we were the only ones in there. It took about 20+ minutes to take our order. Overall, would not return. It was very very average especially considering the prices and quantity. We spent over $100 for 2 people and are still very hungry and we're looking to eat somewhere else right after.

Yelp
This place has the most delicious sushi. Seriously can't beat it anywhere in Atlanta. It's such a treat.

Holly B.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, attentive but not pushy service and the food is really good with some slightly different (in a good way) flavors than other nearby sushi restaurants in their special rolls I always leave wanting to return

Yelp
I've been coming to this location for over a decade. It is definitely one of the better sushi restaurants in the Atlanta area. Located in the parking lot of your typical shopping plaza, you won't be able to miss it. It's literally in the parking lot. It is traditionally styled, with ample seating and private dining space for gatherings. On my last visit I ordered: Miso Soup Spicy Tuna Roll Soft Shell Crab Roll and a Kirin I come for the sushi and stay for the sake...lol Seriously tho, I've never had anything bad here, the servers are always pleasant, and are attentive without hovering. If you're wondering if I'll be back? I sure will!

Yelp
This is probably one of the top 3 best sushi places in Atlanta. Excellent and inventive rolls, good appetizers and cozy inside.

Yelp
I love Sushi Huku and have dined here many times since moving to the area in 2018. The quality of food is far beyond your typical sushi restaurant, and absolutely has the quality and authenticity of dining in Japan, from the "irasshaimase!" when you enter to the fact that you will most likely have to wave down your waiter to get the check, just like in Japan (they never assume that just because you are finished eating, you are ready to leave the establishment). The tonkatsu here is some of the best I've had in Atlanta--I love the attention to detail with it being served on a metal grate that lifts it above your plate so the steam doesn't make the bottom soggy. My deepest sadness is that Sushi Huku has removed Ten Zaru Soba (chilled noodles) from the menu, something I first tried in Gifu prefecture in 2012 and have been obsessed with ever since, and with it no longer being offered, I fear I'll never be able to find it again in Atlanta.

Yelp
Went in for a quick replacement destination before holiday light sight seeing. Place is tucked in a little place off the exit but straight forward once in that area. Was greeted by the hostess who quickly sat my date and I down. Super attentive as once my menu went down in confirmation of my order, my hostess/waitress had came over to take the order. Might I add that she was also balancing the to go phone call orders, packing, and bussing tables as well. With that, she was able to balance all the services remarkably with her other waiter supporting! The dishes came out quickly and was spot on in terms of taste and presentation. Ordered some nigiri , tempura udon and some random rolls to taste. The nigiri was as expected, but the rice was prettying lacking as I had a few extra dry, crunchy rice patches in em. The rolls were pretty good as well. The udon was straightforward and was not overly oily with noodles that were both springy and full. The highlight of the dishes was the tempura! It was so lightly fried but the inside was prefect. There was some sort of seasoning on outside that complimented the overall taste. It was so good that I had to just put in another order in before finishing the dinner. Overall, would definitely come back to explore the rest of the menu - along with more of that tempura! Would suggest to avoid the booth seats as it was narrow at the seating entrance.

Yelp
Really great place in an unassuming location. The waitress was very attentive without being intrusive and the food was excellent.

Yelp
I am from Laguna Beach California. I was wondering how this sushi restaurant would compare against sushi in Cali... Well... It's just amazing. The sushi was amazing. The chefs were amazing. The yellow tail and salmon were amazing Finally the Uni with Quail Eggs as a finisher were just perfect. Good Uni is hard to find, but this Uni was certainly fresh and just damn good. Go here, buy the chefs beers and enjoy amazing sushi.

Yelp
Overpriced average and basic restaurant. Nothing special at all. Terrible service. I absolutely hate when they shove a bill in front of you. I would have ordered more but didn't. A pass for me.

Yelp
Most people are nice very friendly not alot of diversity throughout the company but every one is nice

Yelp
Have been going to Sushi Huku for over a decade. Jay has honed his craft over time , trains his kitchen staff well for good consistent quality and has an attentive and friendly wait staff (rarity these days ). Excellent quality but fair price so I don't mind going regularly.

Yelp
After two visits I'm done. Both times had horrible service. Sat at sushi bar both times. Ignored by the sushi chefs, one was drinking beer (like guzzling) on one of the visits. Oh, but I never got the beer I ordered, and then it was on my bill. But the pink lady roll was delicious. Sigh.

Yelp
This is a staple for our family as we have been coming for 10 years. Some of the best sushi in town!! It's a hidden gem. For sushi, The rice is cooked perfectly (not super sticky or too thick) and the fish is always the best cut. Plus, they are great with kiddos too. Super sweet owner and management. . A must!!

Ted G.

Yelp
Top-notch sushi restaurant. Excellent service. Nice ambience. A little pricey. excellent parking.

Yelp
Food is so good! Very convenient! Chefs are nice! Relaxing all together I got the Home Depot roll and udon would get again.

Yelp
Placed a pickup order through Grubhub. Sushi was good! As a vegan, I had the veggie roll, and the oshinko roll -- both were very nice. The Walmart miso soup was very delicious too. My gf had the shrimp tempura and Home Depot roll and she enjoyed both. The only item I did not like was agedashi tofu -- I don't know what this appetizer was supposed to taste like, but it was not enjoyable at all. There was a sticky jelly covering the tofu and even with the accompanying sauce (which tasted nice on its own) the dish was completely flavorless. With the exception of the tofu app, overall the food was very enjoyable. The pickup method was a little odd -- I had to wait in the front which was completely closed off from the restaurant and closed off from the hostess stand. No one was allowed to go into the restaurant without being guided by the hostess (who was not masked). Had to wait for the hostess to come out to the front for quite a while.

Y T.

Yelp
Food was fresh. Hubby thought the rice was too hard. Salmon, octopus, and tempura were good.

Matthew K.

Yelp
Great sushi with great service. Shumai and Kaki fry are fantastic starters. Go with the Home Depot Roll.

Yelp
I was not impressed with my visit here. The best thing was the complimentary edamame and the hot towels. The rest was just meh form the service, to the quality of food, to the offerings. The atmosphere is ok and you have the ability to sit in a booth but the place is a bit cramped. I've heard others rave about Huku and I just don't understand why. I wanted to customize the sushi combo but that was not an option so I ended up placing separate orders. The sashimi portions were quite skimpy compared to what I'm used to. The squid app was not cleaned properly so I had to deal with strings of squid skin. They only have beer/wine and no brown rice. Most rolls have some kind of tempura in them. I just don't see myself coming back.

Yelp
The best sushi I have had in a LONG time. Who knew? Atlanta, GA-the best sushi resturant in the US. We had the baked salmon roll, the condo roll, the tuna tartaki, rainbow roll, and several others. Their team is AMAZING. Their saki is excellent too. What a find! I have been there each time I am in the Atlanta area. I recommend it highly. They are the real deal!! Make a reservation just in case. You don't want to miss this experience!

Yelp
Sushi Huku Japanese Restaurant is located across the parking lot from Publix in the Powers Ferry Village shopping center. Sushi Huku is a standalone restaurant, and has lots of spaces available in the free parking lot in front of the business. Currently, no indoor dining is allowed, but takeout, curbside pick up and delivery are available. You can call in your order ahead, and the employee taking your order will tell you the approximate time when your food will be ready. We called ahead and I got the shrimp tempura meal which comes with 8 pieces of shrimp, a green salad with a ginger dressing, steamed white rice, and miso soup. R ordered the chirashi, which is the chef's choice of sashimi, and it came with sushi rice, a salad (also with the ginger dressing), and miso soup. Although the menu states that dessert comes with the meal, we were told that dessert would not be included. We were told the food would be ready for pick up at 6 pm (last week Sunday). We got there at that time called the restaurant to let them know that we were there to pick the food up, so she said that she would bring our meals to our car. I parked the car in the lot just in front of the restaurant. Within a couple of minutes, a woman wearing a face mask and gloves brought a bag containing our meals. Knowing that shrimp tempura tastes a lot better while it's hot, we opted to eat there in the car in the parking lot. Honestly, the shrimp tempura was great! The shrimp tempura batter was perfectly fried to a delicate crisp, wasn't greasy tasting, and the pieces of shrimp were long and delicious tasting. I was looking forward to eating the other seven pieces, and, for some reason, I started counting the pieces remaining ... one, two, three, four, five, six. Huh? I already ate one and I was supposed to start with eight, so I counted again. Uh ... I got shorted a shrimp, so I asked R to call the restaurant and let them know the order of shrimp tempura was missing a shrimp. The phone conversation went like this: "Hello, you brought our order to our car a few minutes ago, and we got only seven pieces of shrimp." "Yes?" "We were supposed to get eight pieces, but we got only seven." "Yes, we make them to order, so sometimes we give seven." "But the menu said that eight pieces come with the order, and I got charged for eight pieces, but got seven." "Yes, we make all the shrimp fresh at the same time, but sometimes we give only seven, not eight." "Again, the menu that we ordered from said that eight pieces come with the order, not seven." "Uh, what do you want us to do? Do you WANT us to make one more shrimp for you?" "Yeah, since we paid for eight and got only seven." "Ok, it should take about ten minutes. Call us when you get here." "We haven't left the parking lot. We're still in the car outside." "Ok, I'll bring it out when it's done." I didn't appreciate that 1) The employee tried to make it sound acceptable that we paid for food that we didn't get, and 2) There wasn't an apology. We continued eating, and the employee came out about 15 minutes later with a styrofoam container containing two more shrimp, and gave it to me, saying, "I added an extra one in there." I thanked her and she walked back to the restaurant. Still no directly stated apology - ugh. The shrimp, and the "extra" shrimp were, again, perfectly made and tasted great. The white steamed rice was on the mushy side, with more water in it than should've been in it. The salad was simple, mostly green, and the dressing was very good. The miso soup had good flavor, but was very salty. R enjoyed his chirashi, and it looked like it had a nice variety of sashimi. Overall, for what we got, the price point was too high, especially considering that the online menu stated that dessert was included, but actually was not included. I also didn't like the way that the employee tried to let us know that it was acceptable that we were originally shorted in my meal, and didn't offer at least an apology. We both decided that there were other Japanese restaurants with high quality food and much better customer service that we would rather go to. This wan't one of them.

Yelp
In town for an event from Florida. Found this restaurant around the corner from our hotel. Fantastic fish! High quality tuna, salmon and rolls were spot on. If you appreciate good fish and you are in the area you should stop in.

Yelp
Quaint and charming, this low key spot is a great mix of traditional Japanese delicacies and service. The ambiance is cozy and private. There are several tables for main dining room experiences, booth space and tatami seating. The food is very fresh and created in good taste. You will not be disappointed. The servers are attentive, prompt and engaging. The owner is on deck so prepare yourself for a fantastic dining experience.

Yelp
Best lunch bento ever. And it's just $12.95. Slightly bigger portion and more variety than others. Nice ambience too - traditional Japanese feel, and service is friendly. It can get busy and service may not be as attentive - so try to go early to beat the lunch crowd. Lunch specials Mon-Fri, 11:30-2. Their bentos probably give you more bang for your buck - haha remember I'm Frugal Foodie :) Also love bentos b/c of the variety. Chirashi Sushi is a little pricey for lunch ($19) - I'd still like to check it out. LUNCH BENTO COMBO - $12.95 You can pick any 2 dishes for your bento. For my 1st visit, my bento had so much food - Chicken Teriyaki (very good, huge portion), Fried Oysters (3 larger than average oysters - so good) ... other surprise items included Chicken Curry, Salad (loved the dressing and green lettuce not iceberg, yay!), Kabob of 3 different items - all very good. I tried my friend's Beef Teriyaki - we weren't fans b/c the meat was very chewy. The Fried Fish was very good though. Bentos also come w/ Miso Soup - pretty good w/ tofu and kelp seaweed. We were really amazed at the quantity and variety of food. For my 2nd visit just a few days later (haha), brought another co-worker and this time, ordered Spicy Tuna Roll (8 pcs - very good) and Shrimp Tempura (2 pcs - really very good) ... also came w/ Tempura California Roll, Salad and Fried Croquette of ground beef and potato (soooo good). I actually finished everything. My co-worker enjoyed her Chicken Teriyaki and California Roll. Glad to see they change their bento items daily. Great lunch option for the Cobb Galleria area. FYI they have a semi-private dining room - good for groups. They're located in the same shopping center as Publix but separate building.

Yelp
Stopped in and was seated right away. There were plenty of open tables. I had the tofu miso soup and it was quite tasty. I also had the koda roll, a square sushi with no seaweed. It was full of flavor. Service was solid. The floors were sticky.. Plenty of free parking. Great sushi experience.

Sam W.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible. This might be some of the best sushi in Atlanta. Sometimes the service is slower if they are busy since it is a small dining area but it is well worth the wait!

Yelp
You'll pay over $15 for a ramen noodle meal with a few slices of meat in it. It won't be much more than a 50 Cent package of ramen from the supermarket. However it will be delicious. And the family that runs the restaurant is extremely nice. Just not worth the price unfortunately
google avatar

Yelp
My experience here wasn't the best. They were busy when we came so we ended up being sat at the bar rather quickly. However, it was soon realized it was a mistake as our waiter served several tables that sat after us before visiting us for beverages/order. We waited about 10 minutes to order and selected the nabeyaki udon & chefs plate sushi dinner and an order of takoyaki to start. The food took quite awhile, 20-30 minutes. we watched the chef make other food while we waited. The sushi was much smaller than I expected and very expensive for what you got $38 for 10 tiny pieces and a small tuna maki roll. The takoyaki was very good though and so was the udon. I doubt we'll be back for the sushi anytime soon.

Amelia S.

Yelp
The new management is sadly not the same as the one we had experienced for decades. We booked the special enclosed room for my son's 18 birthday for a family dinner a while back and confirmed day of. Service was terrible. First, they did not recognize we had booked ahead. During dinner, we had to ask for water refills. Then, at the end, they did not bring the cake we had requested with my son's name on it (giving us some lame excuse that it had to come from Japan and had not made it on time)... instead they handed him a ramune' drink - a soda bottle! (the lady told us: well this is more expensive... how insulting). They provided no special celebration at all - not even a scoop of ice cream! - for the birthday boy. They made us feel disrespected. With the very expensive bill we paid on top of that, this is the last time we will come here. So sad. This used to be our family's special place for decades.

Yelp
Great service, outstanding sushi! Love the baked salmon roll, lambada roll , and their gyoza is amazing!

Yelp
I think I can confidently say I've found my favorite sushi place in Atlanta. I still have to try some of the big name restaurants around town, but for the time being, it's Sushi Huku's title to lose. Huku is tucked away in a small shopping center near the I-75 and I-285 intersection. There should be plenty of parking outside. When you enter, the first thing you see is a wall of awards. So I already enter with high expectations. The interior is intimate, though not quite small-- you have sushi bar seating, as well as an assortment of tables, and of course the private seating area where you can sit in low traditional style with friends. The first sign I look for in a good sushi place, have actual Japanese employees and text on the menu: check. Next sign is they bring you some warm hand towels: check again. Bonus points for free edamame while you wait in your food. The food: the best sashimi I've had, period. The fish is soft, fresh, and rightly proportioned with the rice. And that sushi rice is perfectly made. Nothing overpowers the piece of nigiri when you put it in your mouth. That smooth, fatty salmon taste rolls over your tongue and you're in sushi heaven. In addition to salmon, the eel and egg pieces are also delicious. I even tried the usually fishy mackerel, and it was less fishy and tastier than usual. I'm usually not a fan of complicated rolls, but the Geisha Roll (crab, unagi, cucumber, tuna, and salmon) is a wonderful mixture of flavors. Their picture menu with text for specialty rolls also gets bonus points. Another one of my staples I get is the Unagi Don, and their version is top notch! As expected, most dinner entrees will come with a side salad, miso soup, and dessert. As for non-sushi dishes, the only one I've tried so far is their not on the menu, but advertisted as special Tonkatsu Ramen. It blows away the ones I've had at Shoya and Ginya Izakaya. Those were great, but this one was way more flavorful. The broth is rich and tasty, the pork is incredibly tender. Even the noodles seemed softer. Highly recommended if you want something warm and hearty. And while I would never dissuade someone from finishing their meal with green tea ice cream, try their Japanese flan if you want something a little different. It has some texture and a sauce to balance the sweetness. Service is great, as the ladies are friendly, timely, and considerate. You're greeted by the staff upon arrival and exiting. I'd recommend reservations, especially on weekends. This place is always full by 8:00pm. Speaking of weekend, Sundays will be sad as they're closed that day. I know some people may consider the price high, but keep in mind you're paying for some of the best ingredients and dishes in town. I feel lucky to have not only found this place, but even more fortunate that I barely live 5 minutes away from Sushi Huku!

Vincent G.

Yelp
Awesome food well priced. Cordial service. Will continue coming back. Great sushi and nigiri.

Yelp
There is no comparison. This is the best sushi restaurant in Atlanta. A+ Reccomend for serious sushi eaters only. Don't go to Huku expediting teriyaki items. This is the real deal.

Yelp
Swung by for an early dinner at 530 when they open. Very nice service and food came out at a timely manner. Interior has a modern cool vibe. Really delicious and specialized sushi rolls. Often times.. sushi all starts to taste the same to me but this place does a great job using simple and flavorful ingredients to make an unique roll. Tried their lambada, Hawaiian, and dragon roll. They were all good. Truly. And i thought it was unique to use coconut shrimp in the Hawaiian roll as well. It is on the pricier end for sushi rolls.. around $15 a roll. Easy and spacious parking. Within publix complex.

Yelp
The restaurant is very clean and the interior decor is very relaxing. The atmosphere is set up to keep your attention on your dinner/lunch company. There are a few pieces of art, but mostly sparse with an all wood interior. The low incandescent lighting creates a nice mood. I ordered the Yellowtail, Red Snapper, and Freshwater Eel. The Yellowtail was a bit bland. However, it was fresh. On the upside, at least it wasn't fishy. I used the wasabi paste and soy sauce to up the ante on the flavor, so it wasn't unsatisfying. The Red Snapper was delicious. Wonderfully fresh and flavorful. The Soy sauce complimented the flavor palette, so I didn't even consider adding wasabi. Perfect. The Freshwater Eel was not my favorite item this time. That's good. Especially since it was still perfect. The cooking of it nice. The eel practically melted in my mouth. The fantastic combo of the sushi rice with the eel and eel sauce was fabulous. The service was quick and concise. They took my order and got it to me within 20 minutes. I had a total of 20 pieces of sushi. I didn't ask for any beverages, so they brought me iced water. It was filtered, so that's good too. The staff greeted me on my way in and asked me where I would prefer to sit, and upon my exit, the sushi staff thanked me in English (after which I thanked them in Nipponese) and then in Nipponese. All-in-all, I recommend this place, but the price is a bit much. I spent $63 on 20 pieces + tip. They could lower the prices at lunch, but their prices are the same for single order sushi as they are for dinner. I WILL SAY- they have a lunch menu for the casual diner and "foolish American sushi diner" and it is well priced. I just didn't want any of those Americanized dishes. They also had a lunch menu that had Udon, Saba, and other items including Gyoza. These were also decently priced.

Yelp
This place has sushi that is comparable to Umi or Nobu. The fish is unbelievable and is also Japanese owned. Very authentic. I wish they were open for lunch!!!

Yelp
Everything was delicious and FRESH!!! The beef was so juicy! Hands down some of the best Japanese I've ever had! The tempura veggies was my least favorite, way too greasy.

Yelp
My coworkers and I like to go out to eat on Fridays for lunch and moved over to this area back in August. Our old office was on the road where the Suntrust park is and we always had many great lunch options there. However, our new office is situated in an awkward location where it seems we either have to drive 3 miles east or west to get to the roads populated with many restaurant options. However, we discovered that Sushi Huku had great reviews so we decided to check it out and it did NOT disappoint. The service was phenomenal along with the food. There are many offices in this area so if you work here, I recommend you try it out!

Yelp
Their lunch bento box is solid. The beef teriyaki is usually good but sometimes a little tough, and spicy tuna roll tastes really fresh and simple with a high fish to rice ratio. The service can be a little slow though, the last time I went the place was almost empty and it still took around 15-20 minutes to get our order.

Yelp
I made quite a number of new friends in recent times. One of them been recommending Sushi Huku and raving how good it is. Finally four of us girls went there for lunch today. The restaurant is located in the same strip mall as Publix off Powers Ferry Road. Upon entering I was surprised how busy the restaurant was. That was a good sign though it is not always depict how good the food would turn out to be. I ordered the bento box lunch which comes with a miso soup; one can choose two items from a list for the bento box. I chose teriyaki chicken and gyoza. Service was good and ambience not bad too. I would give each a 4 star but honestly I found the food just A-ok. I was surprised the gyozas were deep fried and not pan fried. Some pieces of the chicken teriyaki were tough. Hopefully my friend would not read this review. Girl, love ya but it's just A-ok for me. There are definitely better places to go. When my friend picked me up from the restaurant, he said that was just an Americanized Japanese restaurant, I said ok I would agree with him then. So sorry, a 3 stars from me based on this visit but I don't see there would be another one in the near future.
