The 15 Best Sushi Restaurants in Orlando, Florida | Eater Miami

"Owners Takanao and Yasue Nakashima figured out the formula to perfect sushi rice, and even though the pandemic forced the couple to nix sushi rolls from the menu, that heavenly sumeshi is employed in Sushi Kichi’s donburi bowls. And not just any donburi bowls, but some of the best rice bowls in the city with toppings ranging from fatty bluefin tuna to Scottish salmon to grilled unagi." - Faiyaz Kara

Google
Absolutely excellent Japanese restaurant! we ordered a bowl of Tonkotsu and Shoyu Ramen, with a side of Gyoza and karaage chicken. My wife fell in love with the Karaage chicken here and said we might have to stop by several more times on our trip. The Ramen was authentic and excellent, would highly recommend this place. We have been to many Japanese restaurants over the years, searching for something that reminds us of our trips to Japan and this place nailed it.

Google
This is a very quaint, authentic Japanese restaurant, with some excellent flavors that rival the best around. We had the takoyaki, yakisoba, and gyūdon, all of which were fantastic! The takoyaki might seriously be some of the best I've had in Orlando, which is definitely saying something. The prices are comparable to most other Japanese restaurants, and I believe some items are even a little cheaper. Well worth the trip, especially if you're in the I-Drive/SeaWorld area!

The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with perfect portion sizes. However, I found it lacking in allergy-friendly options. My brother, who is allergic to eggs and milk, had clearly communicated his restrictions before ordering a specific dish. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, he was about to take a bite before my mom realized it contained Japanese mayo, which has egg in it. While we acknowledge it was our responsibility to double-check, the menu description simply stated "sweet sauce," which led us to assume it was a sweet chili sauce or something similar. But we did state, the allergy before placing the order. She explained there wasn’t and we proceeded to pay. I am glad my mom stopped my brother before we needed to use an EpiPen. At the end the lady apologized, and made a brand new bowl for my brother. I’m just glad that we asked before consuming.

Google
Great friendly authentic Japanese food. The quality of the sushi was very good. I tried the Tako Yaki for the first time and it was good. I didn’t need to get it as the main dish was filling enough. I had #1 Kaison Don- it’s a mix of salmon, yellow tail, octopus and squid. On a bed of rice. Have to note about the service right when I walked in I was greeted, told where the free water was and asked how the food is. Yes you have to clean up after yourself but it’s not anything I don’t do at home. They also have a sit up bar area if you come here by yourself. Recommend coming here

I am picky about Japanese food, especially sushi and sashimi, and after the second visit, I decided this is the only place I would choose go in Orlando (or maybe the entire state) for Japanese food fix. The fish is fresh, and the rice is done just right. Even Udon noodle is done just right, simple with lots of umami with the real Western (=Kansai) clear-broth style. You probably can get good sushi at Michelin-rated restaurants if you fork out $100+, but for the majority of the humanity, if you really want to taste what Japanese people eat, this is THE place. In Japanese they say 財布の味方; “an ally for your wallet.” The staff is friendly. The cashier told us that the ones who prepare the food are all Japanese, which says something about the authenticity of the food. This place is more like food-court style. You order and pay for the food, find your seat, wait for the food to come out, and throw out your own trash and return the dishes. This is a matter of preference, but for the kaisen don (fish bowl), by default the fish will come dipped in soy sauce and sesame oil. Some might prefer to have nothing on it, and just use the soy sauce and the wasabi that will come on the side. Check with the cashier. The ambience: comfy and clean, nothing extravagant. Update: I see that they added an ordering kiosk. I put on “notes” that we wanted the soy sauce on the side. Update as of July 2025: price on seafood has gone up, but the taste and the quality of the food is the same. Actually, I like the hardness of the rice better than before.

This is the best local Japanese food you’ll find in Orlando. Luckily we found this place from a google search and tried it on a whim. Now this is our go to spot moving forward. It’s run by amazing and friendly people, and the food is outstanding! We’ve missed this kind of Japanese food so for long, having grown up around it in other states. The prices are excellent and the portions are perfect. Many places today either charge too much or give you too little. Sushi Kichi found the perfect sweet spot. We tried the curry and added chicken cutlet, teriyaki karaage, and the croquette. All blew us away! The curry was flavorful and rich, and the chicken is perfectly crisp. Everything was so good, we can’t wait to try the other options on the menu. This place is truly a hidden gem, but it shouldn’t remain hidden. Everyone should know about this place, it’s that good! This is the kind of place to bring your family, grab to go when taking a road trip, or come in for a weekly bite to eat on a lunch or dinner break. The environment is simple, warm, and reminds me of local places we’d eat at in Hawaii or Japan. For first timers - you can order using the digital station for card - and cash you can do at the front area right next to it. A decent amount of tables for families and there’s bar seating available as well incase it fills up. Plenty of parking since it’s next to Publix. I can’t say enough great things about this place. The best way to sum it up is - Eating here feels like coming home.

Google
This place just became one of my to go Japanese restaurant. Everything I’ve had tasted fresh and delicious. The waitress was really sweet. And the price is amazing for the quality you get. The ice cream with red bean was honestly the best one I’ve ever had in Orlando. And I don’t like matcha but it was extremely good.

Google
It would have cost our small family of four $64 to eat here. For that price, I was expecting something—a smile, a warm greeting, maybe even a tiny bit of effort. Instead, the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was... well, lifeless. Dull lighting, zero energy, and an overall vibe that said, “We’d rather be anywhere else but here.” The first impression? A lady behind the counter staring at it like it might magically do her job for her, and a guy in the kitchen sitting on a stool glued to his phone. Not exactly the “welcome experience” you hope for after a 45-minute drive. You place your order through an unfriendly self-service kiosk that screams figure it out yourself. On the screen? A cheerful little message: “Tips are greatly appreciated.” For what exactly? There was no service, no greeting, no “Hey, let us know if you have questions.” Nothing. Just silence. Dead silence. Oh, and the pricing? The online menu didn’t match the in-store kiosk prices. Love a good surprise charge! (Spoiler: sarcasm.) Add in the joy of tourist-ville traffic and questionable parking, and the experience was—how should I put this—unmemorable in all the wrong ways. For the same $64, I could have gone to The Cheesecake Factory, gotten bigger portions, fantastic service, and actually felt like someone valued my time and money. Instead, I left asking myself why I bothered driving 45 minutes for this. Completely disappointed. Won’t be back." Prices where outrageous: don't be confused by others posts. Everything was at least $16 and up. Their $10 sushi deal was now $23+ dollars. No. No way. Never Again! By...

Yelp
My favorite sushi place in Orlando. Everything is made fresh and the fish quality is soooooo good! The service was excellent and you don't need to wait too long for your food to be ready after ordering. The environment is quite homey and relaxing; is also clean too!
google avatar

Erica S.

Yelp
Food was fresh and fast. Sushi selection is limited but had the regular salmon, tuna, yt. Place was pretty clean. Good quick stop for a bite in a hurry. Beware, you order at the kiosk, it asks for a tip, they bring the food to the table when ready and expect you to bus your own table. Lunch for 2 Adults and a 9 yr old had a bill ($75, after tip) that rivaled sushi dinner for three of us with more food at a higher end spot. While good, for the price and portion size we weren't totally full after eating. Good in a pinch, if you're not starving, but don't look at the bill or you'll wish you had saved the money for a nice night out.

Yelp
Quick. Easy. Simple. When in the mood for a quick Japanese meal then this is the place to go. If you lived in Japan you would know about places like this. You step inside, look at the menu on the wall and place your order. Then you can either pick it up to take it out, or you sit down and it will be brought to you. Typical in Japan. So, to visit it here was like stepping back to a place where I had lived for a number of years. This would be where I would run for lunch or a quick bite. And it is all here. Great menu of noodles, ramen, rice and gyzoa. Maybe a few day specials are offered for the day. There is even Japanese beer and Sake waiting for you if that is what you want. As for the price, it is reasonable for what you will have. And it is all freshly made. This is not frozen. You can hear the cook behind the curtain making a meal I would find walking behind the Ginza. Sushi Kichi is a place that is go to visit and go back for more. To me, it is going back to Japan and having what I would have if I was there. Domo.

Yelp
The fish in the Kaisen Don was incredibly fresh and reminiscent of Japan. I do have to say that the sushi bowl portions are quite small, but you can't beat the quality. The curry rice is a comforting and a solid option. The croquettes were nothing super special, but they were very crispy and not oily. The service is quick and accommodating. For me, the star of the whole show is the fresh fish, so I will definitely be coming back to try the different bowls!
google avatar

Lili T.

Yelp
This is probably one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I've been here twice and had amazing, picture perfect food both times. I would recommend getting here right when they open to avoid a wait. I also recommend coming with a big group so that you can share and try a variety of dishes. I couldn't even recommend you a certain dish because it was ALL GOOD. I've tried probably half the menu and it was all 10/10. My only recommendation is to try something from their specials menu!
google avatar

Megan T.

Yelp
The food is delicious but the portions are so small. I wasn't full after finishing my bowl. You order at a kiosk and the food is brought to you. I would probably come again because the torched salmon was delicious, but I would probably have to order another dish or come less hungry.

Yelp
In the middle of a strip mall. Not fancy. Simple decor. Asian customers and staff. All the signs of a good spot. It didn't disappoint. The sushi was really good. Fresh hamachi. Sure, some reviews commented on a limited selection but it's not a full service sushi restaurant. We had a katsu curry, grilled Saba, hamachi nigiri, tako yaki, and salmon nigiri. We were very happy. Matcha soft serve also had the best matcha flavor.

Yelp
One of our go to local spots for Japanese rice bowls. Stopped by on a night I did not want to cook dinner. My son got the tuna bowl and I did the udon with shrimp tempura. We shared takoyaki. Food was delicious. You order your food at the counter and pick a table. They will bring your food out when ready. Good mom and pops place for a meal.
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
My expectations were instantly high when I walked in and saw a table of older Japanese men just chilling there and eating. The takoyaki and croquettes both came out nice and hot. I would get the takoyaki again, it was really creamy and the octopus chunks weren't too chewy. The croquettes were good but the filling of imitation crab and cream was just ok to me. Even though the sauce it came with was delicious. My friends and I all got the kaisen don since it comes with so many different types of fish. Looking at it, I didn't think I would get full enough but it was successful. The quality of the fish is super good and I can't wait to go again and try some other things, maybe something off of their noodle menu!

Yelp
Food is always fresh and consistent! Service is always friendly and quick! I always make sure to come here when I'm in the area or when I'm craving sushi. It's a casual mom and pop spot and a good place for a quick lunch, dinner, or even snack.

Yelp
We went on a Wednesday evening and it was pretty empty so we got to order right away. You order & pay first at the cashier and then sit to wait for the food. Service was good. Portion size is relatively small so it's good to order a few to try different dishes. - spicy salmon don: 5/5 salmon was great & not really spicy. the marination was sweet and I like the chunks of sweet onion in it. - salmon kobachi don: 3/5 seared salmon with roes was ok, my fav was def the spicy salmon don. - fried chicken karaage: 4/5 lightly fried - udon: 5/5 simple and the soup was good. our kids loved it! - kichi don (cha shu don): 4/5 pork was tender and perfectly cooked. On top of rice with mayo - soft serve matcha ice cream: 5/5 so soft and matcha flavor was strong, which I love!

Yelp
Great place for authentic poke don bowls and other items. We've been going here for years. U order at the front and pick a table... sometimes can be pretty crowded. The prices used to be more affordable but inflation has definitely sunk in. Portions for the fish seem smaller too but still tasty.
google avatar

Yelp
Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service, and good food at very affordable prices make this a nice Japanese place to try if you are in the mood for a quick, cheap meal. This restaurant is more like a single vendor food hall inside a strip mall. Located next to a huge Publix, it's easy to find and has ample parking spots. You order from a counter and wait for the food to be brought to you. Prices are very affordable at $10 - $12 per entree, but don't expect the same quality as a normal Japanese restaurant. The food still tastes good but lacks depth of flavor and ingredients. For instance, the curry had good flavors but no potatoes or carrots, which to me are a staple in any Japanese curry. Still, for the amount you pay, you get a good solid meal. There's Japanese show playing on TV and Japanese music playing over the speakers, so you'll get treated to a full Japanese experience.
google avatar

Jeff M.

Yelp
Solid place for a quick bit. I got the kaisen don which is assorted sashimi on rice. Hint the fish already has soy sauce in it so it don't need anymore unless you like it extra soy sauce. The fish was fine and rice was fine. Nothing spectacular but can't be beat for the price. This was more like poke bowl I guess. They have other options such as ramen and katsu don and a few other unique offerings. Definitely worth a visit. Service is walk up to counter order and they bring you the food. Not much more to it. Self serve water station. Very basic but it works. Maybe reason it's reasonably priced.
google avatar

Rafael S.

Yelp
Friendly Ordering Counter (you order at counter before seating). Thanks Kimiko! The bowls are the real thing. We liked the Salmon Scallop Ikura Don and the Kaisen Don. Plus truly delicious Fried Chicken Karaage. Shumai Shrimp dumplings are fine. Most customers while we were there were Japanese (this place is the real thing). Ambiance is rudimentary, so we took it home to enjoy. Great find!

Yelp
We arrived in Orlando really late and were craving sushi for dinner. The first place I came up with Sushi Kichi. This place offers sushi as well as other Japanese dishes. Unfortunately, when we got there, they were not serving sushi instead and my son got chicken Katsu and I ordered the soba noodles. We waited quite a long time for our order to be prepared. The food overall was okay.

Alanna C.

Yelp
I ordered through their website. Curry rice with Chicken katsu added. It was SO DELICIOUS, I ate everything. The gravy wasn't too salty or too spicy, it had a very mild spice, white rice with little red pickled onions on the side. I have only ordered katsu from one other location nearby, this one is the best. I also ordered a small side salad & their dressing is also yummy, like a more peanutty ginger carrot dressing. The inside of the place seemed clean & simple & the staff was friendly. I paid about $20. Their to-go containers are paper, which I appreciate & say commercially compostable. Make sure to leave a tip!

Yelp
Food was great! A restaurant filled with hospitality, I felt cozy and welcomed. Totally recommended

Yelp
Don't know about atmosphere since there really isn't any. But what Sushi Kichi does have is awesome food at reasonable prices. Originally wandered in because I was lost and I'm very glad I did. Tonkotsu Ramen broth is thick and delicious. The thin noodles appear homemade. Paid an extra couple of dollars for four prices of chashu. Added a shrimp tempura appetizer and large beer. My daughter fresh from studies in Tokyo had ramen, chashu and gyoza and declared it delicious. The price was $66 between the two of us. Not cheap but worth the 35 minute drive. Offers specials written on paper taped to the wall. Order and pay first. Then find either a booth or counter seat. I plan on going back for the specials.

Yelp
Simple, unassuming, and unmistakably Japanese. This is not a poor interpretation, but a genuine translation of food you could potentially find in Japan. Albeit, still a more Americanized version, but still very true to my travels there in terms of quality, quantity and overall translation. For a counter fast service eatery, they create such a warm and friendly atmosphere with a little JPop bumping at a reasonable 4 out of 10 volume wise. Great food, with great company, with great service is a trifecta! Value is on par for its overarching attention to detail quality offerings. This is a must revisit for myself and the family when we are seeking a genuine Japanese meal much akin to the native experiences in actual Japan! どうもありがとうございます!

Yelp
We love, love, love going here. It never disappoints! People are very nice and you could tell the put their hearts in every dish!

Yelp
This is what I call authentic Japanese sushi!! As a big sushi lover, I would highly recommend this local gem for some fresh sushi. The don bowls are my favorite especially with the salmon and tuna combined. You can never go wrong with them. We had the matcha ice cream which isn't too bad but not the best and riches in town. The staff here has always been nice and welcoming to me. The store doesn't have much seatings and you have to order the counter and they bring it out to you. Tips: Always check to see if they're open since it is a family owned business and close during the staff lunch hour. Places are these are hard to come by and I'm so thrilled it's near my area!
google avatar

Anna P.

Yelp
A hidden gem with the cutest and sweetest owners! When I tell you this is the best place in town and it definitely satisfies my cravings all the time! My go to is the salmon don bowl and the bluefin toro but you can find it on the menu occasionally. Worth every penny and I can't want to come back for more! Truly my favorite place to get lunch!
google avatar

Victoria N.

Yelp
I recently came back from Japan recently and miss the quality of fish that I had there. Sushi kichi was delicious and the fresh quality of fish transported me back to Japan. You order your food at the cash register and they will deliver the food to your table. The amount of fish you get is priced very reasonably here.

Victor V.

Yelp
Hidden gem! We tried the fried octopus and calamari, but the star of the table was the matcha ice cream. I've been to Japan, and this was the closest I've had in the States!
google avatar

Jean Claire G.

Yelp
Glad we had a chance to try this place because its hard to find a japanese restaurant that serves variety types of food from meat to sushi and ramen. If we go to family dinner we always avoid going to a sushi restaurant because the kids don't have any other option to eat but in here I can enjoy eating some donburi while the kids enjoy the noodles or katsu. Its perfect! We ordered curry rice don breaded pork cutlets japanese style curry rice and teriyaki chicken karaage don for the kids. They enjoy their food! the chicken is crispy and full of flavors. Me and my husband ordered the donburi. I got the aburi salmon don, the fish is torched so its not super raw. It taste so good and the rice is a little bit sour. Flavors combined makes it perfect together. My husband got the Kaisen don. Lots of different fishes together in this bowl like tuna, salmon, yellowtail and kt has squid as well. He really enjoyed this dish. Great japanese restaurant with good food and reasonable price.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Orlando. I'm always coming in because the food always taste amazing. Plus the price for the quality is not bad at all. I also love how they play anime openings in the background. The place is usually pretty quiet last I have been with only regulars coming in. And the service is here is always very good. I highly recommend for any Japanese food lovers.
google avatar

Yelp
Sushi kichi is a hidden gem in central Orlando. Order your food at the front of the store then sit down at any table available. There are no reservations but there are people who go in and out so you will always find a seat at a table or the bar! The inside is small but has a cozy feel with the room surrounded by Japanese decor. Sushi kichi not only has kind service but the price for quality of fish is hard to pass up on. It's affordable and the fish always come out fresh and tender. Even if you aren't a seafood fan other dishes like the okonomiyaki or udon are great dishes to get!
google avatar

Saron G.

Yelp
Totally authentic and at an amazing value! It's very rare that we get to dine in since our Orlando trips are either daytrips or busy weekends at the theme parks, but if we have time to grab a to-go order, this is my go-to place! The dishes remind me of a Japanese marketplace we adored back in Jersey- their Gyu don (beef rice bowl), Kaisen don (fresh Sliced sushi over rice- kind of like chirashi), and their pork katsu curry are my tip 3 orders. My husband alternates between the gyu don and the unagi don (eel rice bowl)... the flavors never disappoint. I only wished they had something as authentic in Tampa, but it is a special treat to stop in while we have some time in town.

Harry H.

Yelp
I think I came here 3 years ago. I didn't realized before getting in. I am glad this restaurant survived. I ordered Katsu curry bowl. Just taste like in a Japanese restaurant in Tokyo. I am glad to came back.
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
this place was a real treat. My daughter had. The karaage fried chicken and the soy Ramen, with a strawberry raamune soda. I had the yakisoba noodles with a special sushi roll and a Sapporo. it was just the right amount of food, as I wasn't super hungry and it just filled me up right. It is a first restaurant where you walk up and place your order, then they bring your plates out to you. It took not very long at all to receive our dinner. The surroundings are basic pleasant and it was very clean.
google avatar

Jeana L.

Yelp
Love this restaurant and great for their donburi bowls, ramen and other specialities. This place could get busy in minutes so you'll have to come in at the right time to find seating and get your food. I've been here twice in the past year, but somehow forgot to write about it on my initial visit. My sister likes this restaurant as they make great authentic Japanese food. We proceeded with the following: *Japanese Curry Rice w/Pork Katsu *Calamari Tempura Don *Fried Chicken Karaage *Matcha Ice Cream Love Japanese curry with that very umami taste and definitely tastes great with the Pork Katsu! Fried Chicken Karaage was delicious and hot. Calamari Tempura Don was fantastic and ending with a semi-sweet matcha ice cream. The staff was great and really ensure you had everything. Highly recommend and would definitely revisit again!

Yelp
Fast food dine in style ordering. Excited about the hype, but disappointed with the value. I spent almost $100 on 5 donburi bowls, which included the overpriced specials. All orders didn't even come with soup or salad. Sushi was mediocre at best. I had high hopes since it has a good rating and the sushi rice was on the dry side. The positives would be the big menu selection, and they offer a variety of items like appetizer, ramen, and a few other things. Also, some donburi bowls are priced at $12, so that's afforded. They also don't offer any sushi rolls since they specialize in bowls. I didn't hate it, but it's not a place I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way to return to. There was also a lengthy wait to get your food. If you're in a rush, I suggest not dining in. If you're curious, it's decent enough to try out. This place is a step up from fast food, but a step down from a good sushi bar.

Yelp
Such a cute and small hidden gem with good eats! Located right by my mom's nail shop, we were more than surprised with the quality AND quality of the food. We stopped by on a Sunday evening and it was busy so be sure to come a bit earlier! We got Tako Yaki and Crispy Croquet Creamy to start off. The creamy croquet was very crispy and flavorful. Nothing special about the tako yaki but it was still yummy. Lately, I have been craving spicy tuna so I decided to get the Spicy Tuna Don Bowl Not only did it satisfy my craving but it actually was very filling and only $8. The deal of the day was a fish katsu burger for only $6! Unbelievably delicious with lots of fish (more than breading) and for an unbeatable price. Definitely my new go to place whenever i'm craving spicy tuna :)
google avatar

Brandis S.

Yelp
Such an unassuming restaurant, so glad I found it! Located in a strip mall, where surely only Yelp can guide the way. I visited on a Friday at lunchtime and there were maybe 4 or 5 other tables occupied. Service was friendly and I loved the selection of Japanese beverages (beer, sake, sodas). I ordered the salmon scallop don and the fish was extremely fresh and delicious! While the bowl initially looked small, the amount of food was actually enough to make me extremely full. I loved the roe and seaweed accents also. Next time I might try one of the marinated salmon options, but everything looked so good I don't think there's a poor choice to be made. I can't get over how great the fish quality was for such an unassuming restaurant. I'll be back!!
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
This restaurant is conveniently located near me. Though they discontinued serving sushi rolls due to the pandemic, they have other great options. The nigiri is fresh tasting. The donburi bowls are flavorful. Wife and I eat here once a week or so. Kinda hard not to lol
google avatar

Hailey H.

Yelp
So amazing they made me grilled chicken to go with the curry due to an allergy. The tuna don and curry is so flavorful. The wait staff is so pleasant and welcoming def a must visit! Inside feels like a a local little shop I love the feel.

Yelp
Do not let the location of this restaurant fool you. This is one of THE BEST authentic Japanese Restaurants in the Orlando, Florida area. Interestingly enough it's located right next to an aquarium. Thankfully they do not use the fish from said aquarium to craft their delicious dishes. I have been dining at this restaurant for years and am never disappointed with what I am given. The only disappointing part about dining here is when you take your last bite. It's always a struggle not to order a second meal for me. I would suggest ordering the Spicy Salmon Poke Don. It is by far my favorite dish on the menu. Even if you don't order that though, I'm sure whatever you order will be delicious. Some more info: - Before driving to this location MAKE SURE they are open. The best way to do this is to check their instagram page OR to give them a call and double check. - You may want to order takeout during busy dining hours. There isn't a lot of seating and it fills up quick with regulars. - This is a FAMILY OWNED small business. What does that mean? If it's busy you may have to wait a bit longer than your average chain restaurant. Just relax, give them grace, and trust the process. The food is MORE than worth the wait. - If you're walking right before they're closed you should expect to order TO GO.

Yelp
I had high hopes but got disappointed due to business being closed for three days this week. There was a sign on the door that said they would be closed Monday February 5-Wednesday February 7. The reviews sounded very promising but will have to wait till next trip through to see.

Magic Pet S.

Yelp
I saw good Yelp reviews and decided to have a try. Collected the payment upfront as well as tips. I made a good tip in the assumption that everything would be good. Ordered a ramen with extra noodle( in my opinion it's overcharged). When the order came, the soup is very less and just covered the regular noodles, way less to cover the extra noodles. Asked for extra soup and was told it's $6 which I was shocked. This is not the right way to do business.

Yelp
Great Donburi place. I had the negi Maguro Don was yummy (though I wish there was a bit more tuna). The star for me was the tuna katsu sandwich. Super flavorful perfect on its own or with a Don.

Yelp
I stopped here for a quick late lunch and ordered some delightful bowls - my favorite was the curry don. The agadashi tofu was just mediocre. It tasted like the oil was too low in temperature. The sushi bowl I got was good but the flavors were a bit all over the place. Service is pretty much nonexistent. They just take your order and then drop it off. The restaurant is clean and chic. Prices are a bit much for the portions you get. It was worth a try.

Yelp
I can only assume it's due to ours proximity to universal that they get away with the portion size and prices. They charge for protein in the Ramen. Their bowls are great for Ramen, shame they don't even fill it properly. The food came out "quickly" but it's frustrating to pay almost Disney prices for their fare. The place is relatively clean, the flavor is good, but leaving with a "entrée" and appetizer and still hungry is a terrible to spend a "vacation". Music was pretty good, it's anime and pop and some older j-pop which is awesome. I was very hopeful when seeing it here near my hotel. I'd recommend going out of your way to colonial drive for good pho or if you're looking for sushi going to sushiyama.

Yelp
The food was very flavorful. I went with chicken teriyaki on rice and sharing a small roll with my coworker. It was good. The flavor was very good and forward. The Japanese bottle jasmine tea was very delicious and I'll buy more to enjoy at home. Nice business Good food Good Review!

Yelp
I just ordered an Salmon Aburi Don to go. Sushi Kichi is very casual and quick. You order at the counter and you can help yourself to some water. The bowl was delicious. 4 pieces of slightly seared salmon and some salmon roe on a bed of seasoned sushi rice with nori and sesame seeds. They packaged my to go order nicely with chopsticks, a fork, and napkins.

Yelp
This place is best described as a hole in the wall. The pricing is fair and the fish is so fresh. I've gotten the spicy salmon poke don at least 3 times this month. So delicious. The energy in the place is very peaceful. The service is quick and polite. A great place to go if you want to dive further into Japanese cuisine.

Yelp
Food was very very delicious. I ordered their Don bowl which I got the Ramen noodle bowl and it's very very good. The Service was fast and the inside Ambiance is family friendly. Overall, I highly recommend people to eat their delicious Don Noodle bowl and also their rice. They're not known for sushi but that's ok. This is a Japanese family owned restaurant which is a great thing because this is a hidden gem near an Aquatic store at a shopping center. If you like really good Japanese Donburi rice or noodle style then you will be very satisfied by the flavor and aroma of their food. Their apps are solid too. I got their fried dumplings/gyoza and they're extremely good. Everything on their menu is just flawless. This is truly an authentic Japanese street food style. The presentation and containers are nice. 10/10 5/5 ! You want real Japanese food? Go here.

Yelp
This is the greatest restaurant my family has ever been to! This place is a must go because of the foods! The ramen is crazy amazing because the flavor is so real and rich. This restaurant also serves very authentic food, so you can't miss out this restaurant!
