I finally stopped in here on a blistery January day to try something different for lunch this time around. It seems like most of the Sushi restaurants around here are either outrageously expensive, have limited hours, or both. Sushi King's open and doesn't charge a lot for what they serve, comparatively speaking.
The place is small, but it appears some upgrades have been done since they moved in here. Large, clean tables along with a few other upgrades that make it more inviting. I was greeted immediately and told to sit down and a waitress would be with me shortly.
I got to review the menu and it appears they have quite a few menu options to choose from. While I'm not the most well versed in Sushi, I've had enough that I know what I like. I ended up getting their lunch special for $10.95 which came with two rolls and miso soup. While I wasn't thrilled about the Miso soup coming out first, it actually worked out quite well in the end. The Sushi rolls I got looked and tasted absolutely fabulous and had all the fixings with it. Wasabi sauce, soy sauce on the table, along with ginger and proper chopsticks.
My bill was about $11 after tax, and I was happy with everything here. Finally, actual sushi without an attitude from people around me, not terribly expensive and very good as well. Overall, I'd gladly return in the future for a lot more.
