Pretty great sushi in the North West area. Not AYCE, but has great special rolls! Honestly almost everything on their list is really good, try whatever sounds interesting to you! Lots of seating, good bar, great service and environment.

Sushi Loca (Centennial Center) is the kind of restaurant that you'll want to visit again and again. The sushi is some of the best in town, but what really sets this place apart is the overall experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The menu is packed with options for sushi lovers and non-sushi eaters alike, so everyone can find something they love. And with great prices and attentive service, Sushi Loca (Centennial Center) is a real gem in the Las Vegas dining scene.

Google
Very good sushi, a lot to choose from. Friendly staff, quick to wait on you. Would definitely go again.

Google
Always good and fresh food. When we do sushi it is here, close to the north side, reasonably priced, clean and friendly staff. Yes there are better places, but for this area it is best. Short wait times or to go orders. I would say it is worth checking out!

🍣 🍣 Natural viagra Roll is my new favorite. Especially at 50! 🤣Best 🍣 Rainbow 🌈 Roll is my goto. Always something new here. All fresh and tasty. Very well kept establishment. Fast friendly staff. There are a few locations also. Great for groups, lots of room. Also great for dates.😃🍣🍤🍺🥃🍻🍷🥒🥑🍜 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We eat here often. Sushi is always very fresh. Great portion size. And service is always great. The screaming O is really really really good lol.

Google
Their sushi has to be the best sushi in Las Vegas. Very fresh and cut nicely! I'm from LA where we have fresh sushi; this sushi is the CLOSEST I've had in Los Angeles than any other sushi restaurants in town. I also got a chance to sit at the bar and the chef there was so sweet! He made sure I was taken care of and that I didn't order too much sushi (I asked for 4 orders of sushi and he stopped me said "y'know that's 8 pieces of sushi. That's a lot'). My mom and I come here nearly once every two weeks because it is THAT GOOD.

Google
Im always craving sushi and was in the area and seen this place. I usually go for all you can eat but they didn't have that option. I still tried it and wasn't disappointed. Their rolls were unique and tasty. I say unique because of the names they give it. Staff was friendly and helpful. By the time I was done getting my fill, it was like I ate at a all you can eat place but cost a little more but worth the price.

Yelp
Yet another great meal @ Sushi Loca. Brought our daughter here for a birthday lunch per her request. We love the quality of the sushi here. It's not AYCE but you still get a lot for your money and it's top notch. I wasn't feeling great so raw fish was not appealing to me. I had never had their chicken salad but I gave it a go and it was simple, great size and perfect. The sesame dressing added the right amount of flavor to the very simple salad. Hubby got his usual Chicken Katsu and devoured it. My daughter really enjoyed her 2 rolls ( idk remember the names) and they split the tuna poke which is always super fresh. Our server was polite, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was my hot tea was delicious but $3 for hot water and a tea bag was a bit pricey if you ask me. Most places don't charge at all when you order a meal. In addition to the price gouge on the tea was things are looking a tad shabby. The lighting in the bathroom was crazy dark. I think a bulb was out. The booths looked really worn and dated. I understand the economy is taxing us all. I won't hold this against SL to the point that we won't be back by any means. But some better lighting could really help the atmosphere look more lively.

Yelp
Fast friendly best sushi on that side of town. Must go. Position and prices are great

Yelp
Great food sometimes the customer service is a little spotty. We had five of us in our family go to eat and my son's therapist came but didn't eat anything. They charged us for him to sit. Made me sad because the food is great.

James C.

Yelp
Alaska roll is always great! Good reliable service and close to home. I visit here regularly.

Yelp
This wasn't my first visit, but I was reading some reviews before I ate at this restaurant again. I did not have the same experiences as the people who wrote negative reviews. I saw a few about the bathroom, but it was clean and attractive when I went in. There was even a nice candle lit on the counter. The portions weren't skimpy like some reviews said, I found them to be average sized, and more than enough for my appetite. I only ordered some basic rolls, including a Mexican roll, which was lightly spicy as expected. The only weird thing was when I ordered hot green tea, it didn't come in a pot for me to refill my own cup, it came in a mug with a tea bag in it. I had to wait for it to be refilled. Never had that at a sushi restaurant, but I usually go in Chinatown, and they tend to go a little more authentic. All in all, a good lunch experience for a sushi spot outside of Chinatown.

Yelp
Waited more than 20 minutes for a server. Then left. Great job! Host was super rude too.

Yelp
Wow! One of the best bento boxes I've had in a long time, at Sushi Loca! My husband and I decided to stop by Sushi Loca on a Friday afternoon for lunch around 12:00 P.M. Sushi Loca is located in the Centennial Hills Plaza area, next to the Olive Garden. There is ample amount of parking. When we had entered, most of the booths were unoccupied. It was open seating. As soon as we sat down, menus were provided. Shortly afterwards, the team provided waters with lemon. Looking over the Sushi Loca menu, there was so much to choose from! Sushi Loca had sushi, ramen, bento boxes and a lot more offerings. Their bento boxes looked delicious, so I had to choose one. Bento Box: Beef Teriyaki, Chicken Teriyaki - Side Salad, Rice, and Gyoza with Miso Soup The service was outstanding! The team member whom was assisting us provided the miso soup with wasabi and ginger, complimentary. The Miso Soup was flavorful and it was a relatively large bowl! After about 10 minutes, the Bento Boxes arrived. I immediately went for the Teriyaki Beef. It was scrumptious! Soy sauce covered the beef. The slices were tender and juicy. The Teriyaki Chicken, chicken breast, was yummy too! The chicken wasn't overcooked. The rice provided helped to balance the meal! I ended up having left overs for the next day! We had such a great experience at Sushi Loca! My family and I would stop by this location again if we're craving some Bento Boxes! The price wasn't too expensive either, less than $35.00 for both Bento Boxes.

Yelp
Sushi Loca Centennial participates in "SHRINKFLATION!" We thought it was a mistake in portion size the first time, but NOPE! Second time we've ordered and our fried rice containers are HALF FULL!! On top of half the serving they used to provide, they are CHARGING MORE for the half full order!! The containers shown below, up until these last two times we've ordered were FULL TO THE TOP!! Nice way to lose customers! Tried to get the manager Jasmine on the phone to let her know about our dissatisfaction, but she's not in for another WEEK! Never again! There are too many places in the area that don't shortchange the portion and charge you more, adding insult to injury!

Wendy G.

Yelp
Yummy ramen big portion! Rolls are huge! Rice a little wet but other than that staff was very friendly!

Tee K.

Yelp
Located in Centennial Hills, near Olive Garden. I've never had to wait to be seated, they have quite a bit of large booths, tables, and bar seating. There's a TV that's usually tuned into sports, if that's your thing. The wait for rolls isn't too bad, as you tend to expect for a lot of sushi restaurants. I only ordered 3 rolls, the Banzai, Caterpillar, and Tempura Classic. My favorite was the Caterpillar, followed by the Tempura Classic. Both were very fresh and the perfect size. Personal preference, but I don't like the extra large rolls that can barely fit into your mouth in one-bite lol The staff was friendly and attentive. Set-up is your standard shredded-ginger and wasabi, soy sauce on the side (shoyu if you're from Hawai'i!) The total was about $45 for three rolls. If you only eat about 2-rolls on average, then it's not bad, but if you eat 3 or more, or tend to order a lot of different appetizers or nigiri, then expect a heavy check! Unfortunately they do not offer AYCE for sushi, so if that's what you're looking for, then you're better off choosing a different sushi restaurant. (I won't mention any competitors here, but I did review an AYCE in the area, check my reviews for that info!)

Greg T.

Yelp
Very nice owner, ambiance is beautiful. First time here at this location, plating was good.

Laura W.

Yelp
Food was good, I like the atmosphere much better at the Summerlin location. Staff was not very friendly for there being a party of over 20 people for a 50th birthday party, but the food was good. Staff acted anointed when we asked for a picture.

Robert C.

Yelp
Warning. I did not order sushi, which would have been an obvious choice. Instead, we tried Sushi Loca during a recent Vegas cold spell--and ordered two tempura udon bowls. Broth was hot and delish. Noodles were on point. If you have experienced good vs. bad udon, then you will appreciate sushi loca's udon bowl.

Maria H.

Yelp
My family and I were looking for a new sushi place to try. I always have seen it when shopping around the area, so we decided to try it. We came a few minutes after 1 pm. We were seated right away, given menus, and some cucumber appetizer. It took about 20 minutes and telling the server that we were ready to order. She was busy cleaning up table and setting them back up. Mind you, the restaurant wasn't busy. The server acknowledged us, but still did stop to take our order. The guy who was at the cashier desk came over and took our order. We ordered lunch boxes and rolls. The rolls and miso soup came out fast. The lunch boxes came out in a timely manner. Food was good. Would I try this place again? Not sure. Service was pretty slow at the beginning considering there wasn't a lot of people. I can't imagine what service would be like during the dinner rush.

Yvonne C.

Yelp
Grear sushi spot in Centennial Hills! I love the variety of specialty rolls. Service is always prompt and friendly. The rolls are always super fresh and tasty. The ambiance is chill. This is a great spot for a date or casual meal. The ramen is tasty as well. I look forward to trying more each time we stop in.

Ryan M.

Yelp
We have visited this establishment on two separate occasions. Service has been excellent and prompt. We have never had to wait for service, and the staff frequently checks on our table to see if we have any needs. Food has been consistent and good. Sake is enjoyable and I like their hand rolls also. Appreciate that it's not another token Las Vegas "All you can eat" place.

Rechelle F.

Yelp
This is DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! Their bathroom are so unsanitary and gross!!!! This is truly appalling and they need to have these bathrooms DEEP cleaned ASAP!!!!!!

Chanté B.

Yelp
Cute sushi spot, we were served immediately, got our beverages quickly, placed our order. The dinning room wasn't packed so we most definitely received great service. There was no clutter on any table tops while walking to their restrooms. Restroom stales were clean and fully stalked. We ordered 2 rolls which were nice big sizes, rice was cooked perfectly, Ell tasted fresh even with it tempured for one of the rolls (all night long). Udon was good broth tasted like soy sauce more than anything. Miso Romeo tasted great the broth was aromatic of pork which was nice plus with the Chile sauce on the side gave it some nice heat. They have Wednesday lunch specials, but the rest of the week is just their normal menu.

Kandece B.

Yelp
The place is easy to find in a nice shopping center and the staff were welcoming. We were on our way out of town and wanted sushi real quick. We stopped here. The menu is interesting however, they serve alot of dishes with imitation crab and soft shell crab. I did not see many yellowtail, albacore or even unagi dishes; I could count on one hand. I ate the appetizer Cucumbers which were tasty and ordered the "dont touch mustache: as a roll and it was spicy with a ok taste. I believe I confirmed I do not like imitation crab while eating here. The vegetable tempura lacked some flavor. We ordered a large hot sake which only gave us two shots each. Anywho, if you like imitation crab or soft shell crab, this could be your place!

Samadhia G.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to try this place out because we were in the neighborhood. We ordered a few rolls, they were ok. We also ordered combination hibachI, BIG mistake, big huge mistake. The miso soup had tofu and some other leafy stuff (it wasn't stated on the menu), plain steamed rice, usually with hibachi you get fried rice, then on top of that, the rest of the proteins were boiled . Not one hint of oil, butter or anything else. Finally, the vegetables were hard and gave a taste of frozen veggies. So disappointing. They don't have to worry about me coming back. They would've received 1 star but the waitress was nice, dingy but nice.

Robert T.

Yelp
The sushi resturant is peaceful and you don't have to feel squished or loud noises from poor acoustics Food is good and for beginners or intermediary sushi /sashimi eaters you will be happy Service is courteous and respectful. They are always there when you want something

Carol R.

Yelp
I live in Centennial and we had it today for the first time. We love sushi, however, this place is overpriced for mediocre food!!!

Chantalle U.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years and honestly I'm little surprised it doesn't get more love on here. Went recently with a friend and we weren't disappointed. I know for some the appeal of AYCE is their main focus but I'm not necessarily in that camp. I love that Sushi Loca has a good variety, I'm all about the appetizer life. We also ordered a strawberry unfiltered sake to go with our gyoza dumplings and cucumber salad. My friend has a simple palate so she went straight for a California roll and it hit the spot for her. I went for the Put Your Hands Up, and it was delicious! I'm not sure what the situation on any dietary accommodations there are because I didn't ask, but soy and sesame are abundant in all dishes so keep that in mind.

Rampant L.

Yelp
Best sushi in N Las Vegas...hands down!!! The soft shell crab is out of this world...order the Jackpot roll!!!

Valerie N.

Yelp
The food here is good except for one time I had to send back my noodle in soup three times because of very clumply noodles that they couldn't correct. Didn't eat anything because my partner had already finished eating. Also the workers at this Centennial location are not very friendly & curtious for that I do not like to eat there anymore!

Lydia C.

Yelp
I usually go to AYCE sushi restaurants, but went here per recommendation from my daughter. And it was AMAZING! More fish than rice in sushi rolls. Wasn't used to that. Delicious! But what really made my whole meal was the spicy garlic edamame. It was the best I had ever eaten! Perfect balance of spice and garlic. Forget the AYCEs! Much better quality of everything.

John P.

Yelp
Decided to try this restaurant for dinner again. They do offer bento boxes for dinner and are a little more than lunch price. A little more price at $19 but still tasty and have a variety of items. I had the shrimp tempura and teriyaki chicken box which came with salad, white rice, pot stickers and miso soup. We also had a shrimp tempura sushi roll. Everything was very good and service was good. This is one of the only restaurants I have eaten at in the NW Las Vegas area that offers bento boxes. Will definitely return.

Justin C.

Yelp
Was in the neighborhood and sushi sounded good for lunch. Enter Sushi Loca, Pleasant staff and nicely decorated interior. They bring you a lunch special menu and a card to mark your order and quantity. The menu is no touch scan with your phone. They brought some sesame cucumber salad along with the ginger and wasabi. For lunch I tried a roll and 3 varieties of nigiri. Shrimp tempura roll was good and reminded me of a crunch roll 4/5. Nigiri is cut very thick here with a lot of rice. The yellowtail was nice and fresh 4/5. Super white was average 3/5. For 6 pieces of salmon nigiri I must have been given some new and some old salmon? 4 of the 6 were good 4/5. 2 pieces were inedible and mushy, no bueno 1/5. Will I be back...meh.

Jen K.

Yelp
Portions are ridiculous for the portion and quality isn't even better than an AYCE restaurant. Lady at the front was extremely antisocial

Danielle M.

Yelp
Great food but the service was awful. . Had to flag down the waiter for ordering and refills on drinks.

Ivan D.

Yelp
Great place and the flavor is amazing I really recommend it the service inside is awesome too!

Erik F.

Yelp
I was a skeptic, but my seasoned foodie colleague changed my mind on this LV local chain. Excellent attentive service. We had a major feast. I did not have the "Tastes Like My Ex Girlfriend" roll, and wanted to try the "I Did Your Girlfriend" roll, but settled for the "Kiss of Fire" roll. I was expecting more heat from the kiss of fire, but worthy, along with the huge platter of various sashimi too numerous to list, Shrimp fried rice, and grilled squid. Looking forward to return to sample other rolls and maybe a noodle dish.

Jackie P.

Yelp
Love this place! The tempura ice cream is yummy! Spicy garlic edamame is fire! Highly recommend!!!

Mine G.

Yelp
best sushi I have had so far (only sushi I have had so far) but Sushi Loca has given me a great first experience, and I would love to come back here again!

Becca D.

Yelp
This was extremely disappointing. I've been eating here for years and this assembly of the cucumber island roll is ridiculous. Look at that tattered up piece of tuna! It fell out of the slice like that! Couldn't even chew it. For a $21 roll, that is unacceptable.

Ariel S.

Yelp
Food was grate. And looks grate. Not so much communication there. When asked for spicy mayo been told to pay $1.5 witch is fine. But when you get home to eat you find that there is 2 spicy mayo already there and when I asked they needed to let me know that I do have some in the to go pack. No so cheep. Except better service with those prices. And again. Food is grate !!

Cass A.

Yelp
Excellent service and a variety to choose from. My party of five were greeted immediately for lunch. Our meals and drinks were delivered quickly. We were checked on often and it made the BEST experience! This place is good for groups, but be careful of the adult-themed sushi names if you bring young kids.

Sommer S.

Yelp
Local area sushi restaurant. We frequent sushi Loca. Has some of our favorite rolls. Good place to go when you don't want to travel far for sushi. Definitely not my top 3 but we go there often for the convenience. Staff is always friendly and wait is never really that long if there is one. Some of our favs. Jackpot, Neptune Dazzler, Pearl Special.

Christin M.

Yelp
The best japanese food I ever tasted since I moved to Vegas I love that they have raspberry ice tea in a big cup The food is really delicious. I ordered beef bento and it comes with a miso soup. The only thing is I wished for is more beef. They have friendly staffs, good ambience inside the restaurant and it's not that pricey.

Linda L.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming here for years and it is absolutely exquisite every single time. The staff are amazing very fast very kind. The entire visit is delightful. The restaurant is very clean. The food I mean, it is absolutely indescribable. I LOVE this place. Every single dish Ive tried I enjoyed.

Shari S.

Yelp
Very fresh yummy sushi! Nice pleasant atmosphere. Staff is amazing...very good service. My granddaughters favorite sushi place in Vegas

Mary L.

Yelp
I enjoy sitting around the sushi bar, watching them make rolls. The staff are always friendly and they have a large selection

Karen S.

Yelp
I'm one of those people who think all sushi restaurants take the same..but not this place. I've never eaten at a sushi place where the fish grossed me out and I had to spit it out. Fish was super tendony and overall didn't look or taste like good quality at all

Maira G.

Yelp
Food is not good. Service is bad and the food took a long time. I would not recommend coming here. Save your money.

Antonino D.

Yelp
Always good food here. Been going here over 10 years now. Great food and awesome workers make this place a go to for sushi in centennial

Nancy C.

Yelp
Steamed Gyoza always delicious, also the miso soup and the stuffed tomato rolls. Service always good but this time the men's restroom needs attention

Sabrina P.

Yelp
I finally made it here after living so close for a few years. I was skeptical because of how many stars it has. However, I was only disappointed at first. They immediately serve you a mini cucumber salad but the cucumbers were mushy so we didn't eat it. They also serve you your ginger and wasabi but my wasabi was hard and my ginger was dry and yucky looking. I showed the waiter and he brought back fresh wasabi and ginger. Like I said not a good start but then the appetizers started showing up and I was genuinely relieved that the fish tasted fresh and the pieces were big. The Toro was smooth and melted like butter it your mouth as well as the bluefin. The salmon carpaccio was delicious and refreshing. Our rolls were just as amazing. The Linda and the Hands Up roll had a lot going on but the sauces on top and on the side enhanced the flavors. These rolls were so good and so filling. I am happy I was able to leave with a smile and a full belly. They made up for the not so good start.

Randy H.

Yelp
While the food was good, I didn't really care for this wire that was in the potato tempura batter. When I first bit into it, I thought it was some kind of bone. Luckily I didn't swallow it or cut my gums. That could have been pretty bad. We told the waitress about it and got an "I'm sorry", then she took the plates away. Didn't seem too concerned... and not sure she even told anyone else about it.

LaDonnia P.

Yelp
This is the first sushi restaurant I've been to that doesn't have an "all you can eat" option. They do have a decent roll menu but it's a bit more extensive than other places I've been to. My sister ordered the fried gyoza to start (which she enjoyed) and a shrimp tempura roll. Their shrimp tempura roll comes with a Panko break crumb like crust and she wasn't a huge fan of it (neither was I). She'd been on a quest for Yakisoba noodles since trying them in Texas. She had them here and was very disappointed. I tasted her dish and her "Yakisoba noodles" looked like the ramen I ordered and were very soft in texture. I'm used to Yakisoba noodles have more of a thickness. The beef that came with the dish was unseasoned and tasted awful. My tonkontsu ramen was bland but I finished it because I'm not one to waste food. I probably won't frequent this restaurant again for the prices alone.
