Sushi Loop - Review - Ravenswood - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Sushi Loop is an AYCE sushi restaurant in Ravenswood. Their bottomless sushi feast costs $23.99 at lunch and $31.99 at dinner, and gives you access to endless rounds of nigiri, maki, and appetizers like fried oysters or gyoza. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - John Ringor

Went for the AYCE option, lots of selections and the price was fair for the quality of sushi. They were a bit short staffed, sushi took a bit longer but it was their grand opening. Would definitely come again

Overall delicious sushi which is the main thing I was after. The service seemed like they were still working out some kinks, but as it was a soft opening, my hope is that it clears up with time. There was also a weird smell that seemed to be coming from a metal floor tile in the back, hoping that gets resolved quickly too. To the important thing, the food was delicious, we got 3 apps and 6 rolls for 3 people which it turned out based on the rolls we got would have been cheaper to do ordering directly instead of the all you can eat deal, but if you plan on getting at least 2 signature rolls per person, it is a decent deal.

We waited all summer for Sushi Loops grand opening. Finally had dinner there this evening. Happy to report we loved it and this is our new spot. The fish is FRESH and tasty, nice plating style. The atmosphere is spacious and upbeat. The service was my favorite part of the evening. From the host to our waiter and someone that checked us out, they were all authentically friendly, patient, and professional. Loved it all. Highly recommend the mackerel. Welcome to Lincoln Square! 🫶🏽🙏🏽

Yelp
Tried this place for lunch on opening weekend. We had the all you can eat special. It's a great deal and it covers not just the sushi but also appetizers, ramen, salads, and dessert. The interior is well done and colorful. The staff are friendly and service was good. We tried several of the sushi rolls and they were all delicious. Mango Tango is a must. We also tried a few appetizers and they were great. Will be back for certain

Yelp
The craving for sushi brought us to try this new neighbor spot. It was previously Roots Pizza, and we could see hints of the past, like the bar, but with a definite Asian themed reincarnation. We were greeted warmly and were taken to the fun birds nest like round table. Glad I came hungry, as I wasn't aware of the all you can eat for a set price. We took advantage of this getting a good sampling of appetizers- gyoza, crab Rangoons, tempura, edamame, and others. When it came time for the sushi, there were many options to satisfy everyone. It was fun that it was served in a boat making it easy to share. The staff made sure that we had all the things we needed and checked on us regularly without being overbearing at all. I'll definitely come back.

Yelp
Awesome add to the neighborhood! The staff is super friendly and the sushi rolls are great - tons of options! Really clean as well. Will be back!
