We love this place. Quality and value are fantastic. We have made them a weekend routine in our family, for both dine in and carry-out. Most recently we brought our 2-yr old with us to dine in. The staff loved having him there and even made him a mouse orange! Very family friendly. We will continue to be back every week.

Everything is amazing especially the sushi! 20/10!! They are short on staff which is why it takes a bit for the food to come out when it’s busy. However, they are always wanting to talk and actually build a connection with customers.

My wife and I were wanting to try a new sushi place. She found this place and saw the reviews weren’t too bad. So, we gave it a shot and we are both are glad we did. The sushi we ordered was pretty good and the miso soup was amazing. The salad, could use some help cause it definitely wasn’t ginger dressing. Tasted more like Thousand Island. The inside is small but very cozy feeling inside. They offer a bunch of specials which my wife and I did the 3 roll combo which we couldn’t eat it all and brought the rest home with us. We both were happy with the sushi we ordered and will be back to try some different kinds later on this month. Also, the cooks are Korean and offer a Korean spin and meal along with their specials.

Absolutely amazing sushi! The freshness of the fish was top-tier. You can tell they take great care in sourcing high-quality ingredients. The service was also outstanding—friendly, attentive and kind especially to my toddler. They surprised him with a beautiful food art piece made from an orange, and when he enjoyed his shrimp so much, they even fried up an extra piece just for him! The warmth and hospitality here are unmatched. If you’re looking for a sushi spot that delivers incredible flavors and top-notch service with a personal touch, this is the place. Highly recommend!

We ordered dinner Friday night. We ordered 6 rolls and 2 seaweed salads. The rolls were fine, HOWEVER the seaweed salad was a joke!! They charge $9 per salad and 75% of it is iceberg lettuce. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Who puts lettuce under seaweed salad. This is a first.....and a last.

Absolutely amazing. The service is always top notch and the sushi is magnificent! They're not usually too busy, so they have time to put into each dish and service. This is our third time here and each time has been phenomenal. Edit: these are several photos from the many times that my boyfriend and I have been here. This is our FAVORITE restaurant PERIOD. I was so surprised when they weren't on the top 10 list of sushi restaurants in Alpharetta; they definitely deserve it!! Cannot recommend this place enough!!

Sushi Mania is my go to sushi spot north of the perimeter! The customer service and food is outstanding, and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. My favorite items on the menu so far include the fried beef gyoza, and the snow cone sushi roll. I'm drooling just thinking about it. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the mood for sushi.

Like many others who have posted here, the service is unacceptable. There were 2 people finishing up and a table of 4 ordering when we arrived. In the meantime, 1 Uber order was picked up and 2 more people came in. The table of 2 after us got all of their food before us. The table of 4 had finished. We were told our order would be a few more minutes and the server didn't know why the other table came out first. We left after 40 minutes and having no food. Poor service is a consistent issue here. Be prepared.

They have this huge sanitation machine you must walk through at the entrance that apparently sprays you upon entering the restaurant--thankfully it was off when I entered because I wasn't looking to get sprayed with chemicals. In contrast, the waitress was seemingly frazzled and forgetful in such a small and empty restaurant. The positive aspect was that I enjoyed my sushi but I ordered a basic tuna avocado roll that it's hard to mess up. The specialty rolls just didn't seem appetizing.

This is really our go to location for sushi. When you eat here you will be shocked.. the inside is tiny... maybe 6 tables or so. However the sushi is packed with big flavors and the service is outstanding! If you like sushi this is a great reasonable location that has other options as well. My youngest loves miso soup and for him this is the definition of the perfect miso as long as we hold the seaweed. They have Bibimbop... my wife had it the last time and said it was awesome. (I stole a piece of the meat when she wasn't look it was pretty good!) My oldest lives for their old Alabama roll. It is one of my favorites as well! I like several of their rolls and this time I tried their chicken fried rice as well. It just might be the best I have had since moving to Alpharetta! I'm telling you this is a great location with lots of options for such a small location. You need to try it!!

FOOD: price has gone up so please take a look at the updated photos below. It is very $$ for the quality. The salmon honestly tastes like hmart quality sashimi- not fresh, fishy taste, crumbles in the mouth. The yellowtail nigiri was also cold -- which is a bit odd(?). The rolls were okay-- the shrimp temperature was probably the best one. The squid nigiri for $9 was not worth it. SERVICE: when we first walked in, noticed that our server was sitting in the corner with energy drink on her phone and the owner/sushi chef was at the bar on his phone. The server greeted us but the chef did not seem amused nor make eye contact with us. During our meal, not once did anyone come to refill our water nor ask how the food was. AMBIANCE: decorations are tacky/out of place and it was not the cleanest (dusty). It was also a bit dark in the restaurant. There are way better quality sushi restaurants out there for the price (I can be messaged separately and I can give some recs).

4.5 stars. We came here Friday night for date night. It wasn't too busy and got a table right away. I love the quaint atmosphere, very cozy and romantic. We ordered the toro sashimi special. It was amazing!! Omg we should have ordered two. All of the fish were extremely fresh and melted in our mouth. Definitely our favorite dish of the night. Would come back again just for this. We also ordered the aloha roll, sushi mania roll and falcon roll. Wow these were huge rolls (for sushi). The portions are very generous and include lots of fish (less rice which is good). The aloha roll was our favorite out of the rolls because it has a kick to it and less heavy than the other ones. The service was very attentive and I think the owners are Korean. They were all so nice and friendly. They have many Korean dishes as well so im excited to try those next time! Overall we enjoyed the atmosphere, fresh fish and this may be our regular sushi spot.

When my sister told me the name of where we were going for dinner, I had to reserve my Pavlovian desire to roll my eyes and brace for mediocrity. The name Sushi Mania does not inspire feelings of epicurean greatness. As it turns out, it's awesome. The interior is small and cozy, a limited number of tables with a sushi bar. I love that style. The folks running the place are super friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensively sushi but also carries over a few Korean dishes. I saw a stone bowl bibimbap and Korean ramyun on the back page along with chapaghetti, which was what I had. Chapaghetti which is basically like a version of jjajangmyeon has house-made sauce served with udon noodles. I was a little worried it would come out of a package since that's what I'm used to. Enjoyed that. If you're looking for somewhere cozy with things for everyone, this might be a good spot for you.

This place honestly amazed us. We came here for our first time following a couples massage. Their Spider-Man roll was our favorite one, this is the one that has the soft shell crab in it. We were happy with all three rolls as they were very well crafted, but the Spider-Man one was definitely the best, especially with the toppings that it had. We will come back again for sure when we are in this area.

High quality sushi with nice variety. They also have several non-sushi choices. The space is fairly small. However, having visited between lunch and dinner (about 3 pm on a Saturday), securing a table wasn't a problem. Service was friendly and helpful. If I had any complaint, it would be that the pricing is a bit high relative to what you get. This may be somwhat typical for the neighborhood. I would return if in the area but probably would not make a special trip to come here.

Would love to give feedback on the food but I can't... I called before making the drive (inquired about a wait time) and when I walked in I was told they were closing. Ummm.... Won't be coming back to this place.

Sushi mania in Johns Creek Georgia This is the best sushi I've ever eaten in Georgia. Being from California we definitely know great sushi when we eat it. We are definitely coming back this place is awesome. Highly recommended. The service was great the chefs were brilliant and the food was excellent

This was our first time at this sushi spot and loved it! We went on a Sunday evening and found this restaurant on Yelp as we craved sushi. I'm so glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious! They even changed the tv channel for us to watch the NFL playoffs! We ordered the "choose 2 rolls" for $17 which comes with a small miso soup and ginger side salad. The two rolls we chose were the Yumi Yumi roll (fried roll) and the shrimp tempura. We also ordered the Baked Salmon roll which was bigger than both other rolls combined! It was simply delicious! Service was super fast and refills were plentiful. I definitely recommend this sushi restaurant. They have many many rolls to chose from, especially cooked rolls! We can't wait to come back soon!

Love this place. Full disclosure we are regulars. They always take care of us. My daughter gets the Udon every time and my wife and I get various rolls. It's small and cozy and has some other things on the menu, so bring your non-sushi eating friends and they can have something enjoyable too. Watch out for the candy dish when leaving. Some crazy flavors in that thing.

Found my new secret spot!!! Omg the rolls were amazing here. So far one of the best spot I found in town. If you haven't tried it, you need to come and give it a chance! I'll definitely be back!

This place is tucked away in a small section of a plaza. The place is small but the sushi certainly makes up for it. The hostess was attentive. The chefs had on traditional Japanese outfits which made the experience even more enjoyable. The sushi was delicious. I would recommend this place and look forward to eating there again.

My mom and I were in the area and wanted some sushi so decided to comes here and we were not disappointed! The edamame was fresh and delicious! The tempura shrimp was cooked PERFECTLY! The volcano was great! The flavor and texture were amazing and the salmon belly was amazing as well. The service was great. Wasn't packed when we went and it was very comfortable! I don't live over here but anytime I'm in this area will definitely me returning!

Ordered 1 roll to-go as a little snack and was not disappointed! The menu is extensive and there were so many things I wanted to try. I ended up ordering an Aloha Roll. Very tasty and fresh. The jalapeño slices on top were perfect and the fish 2 ways was a nice touch. I loved getting able to watch them make it right in front of me :) Make sure to tip extra well and keep supporting our AAPI!

I was exhausted after starting my day at 5am flying to Atlanta, going to the aquarium and a Braves game. By 7pm I didn't have the energy to go out so I consulted yelp for delivery. I ordered the Philadelphia roll ($6.95) which is supposed to have salmon, cream cheese, avacado and cucumber. For some reason, the fish was smoked. I went back and consulted the menu because I didn't remember it saying smoked. It wasn't supposed to be. I also had the shrimp tempura roll ($8.50) that had cucumber and avacado. Now this roll had the avacado so I'm not sure why it wasn't in my Philadelphia roll. Overall this place was underwhelming. The flavor and ingredients were off. The rolls didn't come with soup or salad. After looking back at the prices, I guess I can't be but so unhappy, because it was cheap compared to other places. GrubHub charged $5.99 to deliver plus 15% tip so my total for not great sushi was about $26. I think I'd try somewhere different in a pinch. Not sure what it's like if you visit the actual restaurant.

Good!! Sooo good! The cucumber & Kani salad is the bomb! The dressing on this salad is like no other!! This was my 1st time going to this sushi' place! I will definitely be going back!! Love this place!!

Here is a place doing everything right!!!! We keep looking for a great sushi place and I think we have finally found it! We ordered to go and everything was fresh and delicious. It was ready at the time they said it would be (last time the place down the street had us wait about 45 minutes beyond the time quoted). They food was really good and to our surprise there was a note in our bag with a little something extra thrown in my the chef!!!! Not sure if they made a mistake or do this regularly but they made big fans out of us!!! It's little things like that that win you customers for life! Unlike the place we went to for the birthday dinner that did nothing at all. We will be back again and again and we will tell our friends too!!!!

Stopped here when visiting a friend. Love the sushi! We got the 3 roll deal that comes with miso soup and salad for I believe $24. Probably one of the best sushi places I've eaten at tbh! Will be back when in town next!

Amazing sushi and service! Coming from California, we were looking for a fantastic sushi restaurant with fresh fish! The rolls are huge, fresh and soooo tasty!

Was in the other night for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant! We were greeted kindly by wait staff and sushi chef. Wait staff was prompt with our order. The sushi and nigiri was fresh and delicious! Cant wait to come back again!

The worst sushi place in town. Poor service and it wasn't even busy. The sushi doesn't taste fresh at all.

This is a harder review to write for me because this was my first time having raw sushi. Every time I've ever ordered sushi in the past, it was already cooked. I still ordered the pink lady here as well as a roll that had mangos on it. I think my favorite roll was the one with mangos on it. My brother in law wanted to allow us to taste all different types of sushi, so he ordered a plethora of different types of raw sushi. I tried the Philly roll one first and it was so yummy! We had all different types of sushi but I have to say, while it was amazing, I'm still partial to the cooked rolls! The chef and waiter were so nice and funny. They brought out the rolls in a really beautiful manner with a vegetable flower as garnish in the middle of the 20+ rolls. Just beautiful! Next time I'm in Alpharetta, we will have to make a stop here.

I'm giving this place a 5 star because it's a great atmosphere and the Chef was polite and the waitress was prompt. It may have been that I came in at the wrong time, but the Chef preparing my Sushi was a little slow, but good things come for those with patience. I ordered the Baked Green Mussels and they were ridiculously good. Very good proportion, 4 mussels per order for around $5. I mean, I've had these all over the place and a lot of modern such I places won't serve it up or if they do it sucks and isn't that fresh. Then I ordered Chirashi. Some places skimp out on what they prepare with this dish or they give you only 5 types for $15 or so. This had White Tuna, Tuna, Seared Tuna, Tomago, imitation crab, Albacore, Salmon, Octopus and eal. For the price of $18 it was worth it. This place is a hidden gem and you can tell how good it is because there were three Japanese families already eating. I will return again as this will be my goto spot in Alpharetta/Johns Creek.

Always fresh. The baked salmon roll and double double are my go to items. The staff is always very nice, call in your order for quick take out!

This is the best Sushi in the whole area. The Yumi yumi sauce is unique and to die for! The mango and yumi yumi sushi, extremely delicious has the name on it. Fried rice is a OMG to the pallet. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and my wife was so happy that I nailed it. Hanna, the owner, welcome us so good. I highly recommend this amazing place, pretty cool atmosphere and the staff, one of the best starting with the Sushi Chef. A secret gem. This place is running under new management and definitely they beat the previous owners.

Came here because of the good reviews but I should have known better and shouldn't ignored the printout by the entrance that says "Show us your good reviews and receive 10% off!!" We ordered: Kaki Tori (fried oysters) Chirashi Don Chicken Teriyaki The prices on the menu don't seen expensive but the portion are actually small. The fried oysters appetizer comes with 2 tiny fried oysters sliced in half. The sushi are thin sliced in the chirashi don. Chicken Teriyaki looks great but the teriyaki is very salty and a portion of the rice somehow was soaked in water and meshed. The only positive thing that I can say about this place is the good service, therefore I rate it 2 stars instead of 1.

Food is good however super awful customer service. I called here and I asked for which sushi rolls can be ordered for pick 2 or 3 and she was unable to give me straight forward answer and she said "basic rolls like etc etc" I said I need to see the menu and she said we are super busy and I just told you and I said you are not helping me and she said "good luck ma'am" and hang up on me!! What type of training do they do to treat a customer in this manner.

This is some Food Wars type joygasm stuff. Absolutely amazing food and service. They would beat Bobby Flay. Thank you for treating us like family, but the side of the family you actually like. Highly recommend!

I eat at this wonderful family owned establishment at least twice a week when I am in town. The food always comes out fast, the food has always been delicious, and the service has always been off the charts friendly! It is a GD awesome experience in this cesspool of a year where delicious food delivered in a responsible manner is at a bloody premium! I happened to be in the other night that is mentioned in another recent review. You will know the review when you see it...I really wish customers could be given a rating because D.G ruined my entire meal with her incessant cackling and loud boasts of "power." I do agree that food should be sent back if there is a concern but what was happening in this reverse scene from Fantasia, was this party eating most of their food and sending it back for reasons akin to "the glass for this ice water is too cold..." While, that wasnt exactly the statement, it might as well have been. I did my best to tune this unpleasant diner out by listening to music with my ear buds on, but even Dababy at full volume couldnt compete.

******UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT******* Please give this place a chance! Everything is very fresh and flavorful! I recommend the fried monkfish, volcano roll, yellowtail carpaccio, and udon noodles! All of the sauces and broths are house made from scratch and sooooooo good. Service was great, our server Hanna was very friendly and helpful with food menu selection as well as the alcohol selection. (Ordering Sushi can be very intimidating). Thanks Hanna for being such a great server! Whether you like fresh raw seafood or something cooked and warm, this is a great spot for a quick lunch or a nice date night for dinner.

We have ordered from this place on GrubHub and have been fine with it but if you are going to go to the restaurant do not expect good service. We ordered a Ramen dish and asked for it to be medium and they served it spicy so we sent it back which was fine but then when we said that the fish in the sushi was not fresh they yelled at us. The owner of the restaurant had to calm his daughter down who is the server who refused to take it off of our bill. She yelled at us. How was that OK? To yell at a customer who says the food is not fresh? We were actually nice about it but she was not. Let's face it, we both could've handled that better. The take away for yelpers, it's a crapshoot what you're going to get if you don't like your food. don't send it back because you may get yelled at. And for the record I did not get angry until she came out to yell at me. I was doing fine with her father who very politely agreed to take the food back. And we did not complain about unfresh fish we complained about smelly food. The tempura shrimp smelled bad I did not want to put that in my mouth. Sending it back is OK. The only thing that she should've done when she came out was asked what could we have done better and we're very sorry. Not accuse me.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Dine in restaurant itself is very small but distanced. Service was good and sushi was fresh and tasty. Has the Miso Soup, Old Alabama Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. The only constructive feedback is the cucumbers within my sushi were very big and hard - would've been more enjoyable had they been cut up in sticks or softer.

Ok food is just like any other Japanese restaurants, quiet and small if you prefer dining in. Mostly takeout. Perfect spot for date night.

My husband and I really liked the sushi here. We only eat cooked sushi but it was sooo good! We had the Old Alabama roll, and shrimp tempura roll. I brought my friend there today and she loved it. (She's very critical of Sushi restaurants) She had shrimp ramen and it was amazing! And now she's bringing her husband back. Any of the reviews that are below 4 stars are definitely from the previous management. Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

THIS PLACE IS CLOSED. sign on door says new management but it is closed. Disappointed I drove way out of my way at rush hour because the reviews had been so good .... Then this sign on the door but nothing about them being closed other than a locked door!

If you haven't tried this place you are missing out! Hands down the best food and service I have received in a very long time. Our server was very kind and attentive. We ordered 2 miso soups, a salad, teriyaki dinner, and some rolls. We also received edamame and watermelon on the house! Everything we ate was so fresh and well made. We will definitely be back here!!!!

My first time here, the sushi tasted different but in a good way. The rice tasted fresh and light and everything just melts inside your mouth. It's a small restaurant but it's very welcoming and cozy. Staffs are extremely nice and attentive. Mr. Jacky is a great sushi chef and we will definitely be back for sure!

Never disappoints! The food is top quality and the service is always great and so welcoming! The blossom appetizer is our fave!
