ordered delivery here. 11/10 stars for the quality and quantity of the fish. everything tasted SO fresh and good - easily my favorite sushi spot in queens. would absolutely order here again. got the salmon pineapple roll, eel roll, salmon lover's special (salmon sashimi, sushi, and roll combo), and salmon skin salad (super delicious, crispy skin, not too sweet or salty). there were more pieces of sashimi that came with the salmon lover than is shown in the photo - i got impatient had had a few slices before taking the photo!

An amazing place to eat. Everyone is so friendly. The sushi chefs were so funny and the sushi was AMAZING! everything tasted so fresh. Definetly recommend, I came all the way from flushing queens to eat here.

I had an incredible dining experience at Sushi of Miso! The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The menu offered a great variety, and I especially loved the toro sushi. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. You can really tell the chefs take pride in their work—the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail were outstanding. Highly recommend this place to any sushi lover!

Average food. Dined in recently—service was attentive, but prices were high for the small stack of quarters sized rolls. Later the same week, tried ordering lunch; online menu was confusing, so I went in person. Ordered two eel bentos at lunchtime for $50, expecting what I saw in reviews and their website: miso soup, dumplings, seaweed salad, etc. Instead, got plain lettuce with no dressing, which I had to return for after the guy confused me further on the phone by saying the no dressing was intentional? He gave sodas as an apology, but by the time I got back to my food, it was cold and I then noticed the miso soups were also missing. With such glowing reviews, I expected better

I ordered takeout from Sushi of Miso and was thoroughly impressed! Even though I wasn’t dining in, the quality of the sushi was just as fresh and delicious as if it had been served right at the restaurant. Every nigiri was carefully packed and beautifully presented, which made it clear they put care into their takeout orders. The sushi itself was fantastic—each piece tasted incredibly fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I especially enjoyed the toro nigiri. The rice was seasoned just right, and the fish is so fatty it practically melted in my mouth. The ordering process was smooth and easy, and my order was ready exactly on time. The staff was friendly when I picked it up, and everything was neatly packed with all the extras—soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger—so I didn’t miss out on any of the dining experience at home. If you’re looking for high-quality sushi takeout, I highly recommend Sushi of Miso. They definitely don’t compromise on quality, even for takeout, and I’ll be ordering from them again soon!

My mom went there and ordered tuna sashimi, ebi sushi,crab rangoon and crunchy roll. She don’t speak english well, but she said she definitely had conversation about sashimi(also the server asked do you need rice? So my mom answered no rice for sashimi) she even showed the photo of sashimi from this restaurant. Also same situation with other foods. When she opened her to-go bag at home, it wasn’t what she ordered. She couldn’t even go back and complain about it because the restaurant was already closed. Does this mean server can not even understand what sashimi is? Or don’t know how their food looks like? How could you gave us wrong foods while we showed the photos of what we want. I’m very mad about this situation because my mom tried her best to get what she asked for but you guys gave us what u want to gave us. If you think I’m lying about it, go run your cctv camera. I don’t know since when ordering from restaurant became a way for challenging random food. + I got response that is saying my mom show poke bowl picture but thats not true, cuz why would server ask ‘how many pieces?’ for poke bowl? Also, I didn’t mentioned with details about other menus, how will you explain about those? Accident already happened and I just wanted an apologize not an excuse. Just make sure this won’t happen again to others .

It does not look like much from outside, location is a little tough but don't get fooled it is a total LIC Gem ! Sushi's are great super fresh and really impressed about the quality and diversity of the fresh fish they offer. We discovered the place by chance for Christmas, despite the fact that we live 2 blocks away for over 15 years we are still wondering how not everyone in LIC talks about it, We are totally sold. Small details like making you fresh gratted wasabi says it all.

this is the place! great service and friendly staff. the portions were perfect. my boyfriend and i got the pork dumpling starter octopus appetizers.

We ordered rock shrimp, sexy eel roll, lady love, and sushi sashimi combo. Overall the quality isn't bad and price is good. I would skip out on the appetizer next time and really recommend the sexy eel roll. Overall, nothing outstanding or super crazy. It's a casual small sit down or take out. It seems to be family owned. Good for casual quick lunch spot.

Ordered the sushi for 2 platter for my partner and I. We chose miso soup as a side. Overall, the quality was okay. The fish didn't seem the freshest and was sliced unevenly compared to each other. The sushi rice was also a little hard for some of the pieces. The food was delivered promptly and packaged well. Not sure if I would go back here but they do have some nice BOGO deals.

Ordered delivery via UberEats since they had a BOGO free deal on most of their sushi rolls. I chose the Salmon Avocado roll ($12), Shrimp Tempura roll ($14), and Spicy Tuna Roll ($13). Total came out to be $39 before tax & fees which was a steal for 6 rolls. The best roll was the salmon avocado roll. The salmon tasted fresh, no complaints. The shrimp tempura roll was a little soggy, which probably was as a result of it being delivered. But taste-wise, it was good. The spicy tuna roll was my least favorite. It did not taste as fresh as the other two rolls. In all, I most likely would only order again if I had a promo to use + discounts.

Ordered take out sushi here, and was quite solid for the price. Sashimi combo - Not mind blowing, but nice variety of fish that tasted fresh. Lobster salad roll - Had no idea what was going to be in a lobster salad, but it turned out to be an excellent order! The lobster was mixed with a flavorful mayo sauce that wasn't overwhelming. Scallop roll - Very yummy and fresh. I also appreciated that this place uses excellent quality avocado; the avocado was the perfect texture and flavor which really added to the overall taste of the rolls. Spicy salmon roll - Was a bit disappointed by this one. It wasn't spicy at all and kind of didn't taste like anything. Lady love roll - Solid roll. Tempura was crispy and cooked nicely, and the sauce added sweetness but didn't overwhelm the roll.

I generally try to avoid writing negative reviews, but I am genuinely surprised and confused by how I could have such a different experience with Sushi of Miso compared to other Yelp reviewers. I placed a large delivery order via UberEats (for myself, my husband, and my brother), and we were all so disappointed with the quality of the food. The hot appetizers (crab rangoon and rock shrimp) were ice cold and soggy, and the sushi did not taste fresh at all and was very sloppily prepared. I should've known better once I saw the BOGO deals on certain maki rolls, because that's never a good sign when it comes to sushi, so I suppose that's on me. It was a $100+ mistake.

When you find a great place to eat or hang out in New York City - I tell people 'keep it secret! Don't let the crowds ruin it.' Yet here I am writing a review. *Shrugs* New York City has some of the best restaurants in the world. It also has some that are massively overpriced yet terrible. And others that resemble a hole-in the wall with incredible food! And everything in between. I'm writing this review because these guys care about their food, and have an excellent local sushi establishment. The sushi chef is smiling at me and saying "thank you!" Right now as I write this. They care about their customers, and they care about the quality of their food.. The reason I'm writing this review is this place is under Appreciated, yet incredible food and good service. They deserve a loyal following, so I am letting other people know about one of my 'secret spots' :0) These guys deserve to be on the map as they serve incredible sushi. My wife and I love stopping in here. If you live in Long Island city and are looking for a local go to sushi place, come to Sushi of Miso. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy! And spread the word - These guys deserve it!

My go to take out sushi place LOVE THIS PLACE for take out sushi. I always order sushi for two from this place and I have never been disappointed, EVER. I'm very picky about sushi (maybe because I'm from Japan?!) and I give an approval stamp for this place 120 %. The rice is prepped right, the balance between the fish and the rice is always on point. Their sushi do run a little on the smaller side so I do recommend ordering a roll or something if you want to be stuffed. I would love to eat in there one day.

I got off the subway and stopped for a snack before heading home. I didn't realize until too late it was 6 minutes before they closed! I ordered and ate quickly feeling bad but they were lovely and polite the entire time and sushi was great!

BE AWARE OF THE FOOD SAFETY I ordered lunch through Fantuan from them. While the food was decent, there was a piece of steel wire from a piece of sushi. I am glad I noticed that and didn't swallow it because it would've been dangerous.

Another day, another sushi order. This time I ordered sushi through Uber Eats from Sushi of Miso in LIC. I ordered 2 orders of Crunchy Spicy Salmon Roll (6 pcs), 2 orders of Spicy Scallop Roll (6 pcs), 2 orders of Salmon Sashimi and an order of Shrimp Tempura Roll (6 pcs). Sushi was of quality, but the rolls were sloppy. I would recommend Spicy Scallop Rolls. Beware of BOGO deal of Salmon Sashimi. When it says 2 sashimi for $5.50, you only save 50¢. I just don't get the point of it.

The lunch deals here are the best in the area. I have always thought this place was odd with two different restaurant signs, but there's sushi is actually fresh and the service is fast.

Delicious food and excellent service the chef made a delicious app for us on the house and the sushi sashimi platter is on point!

Excellent food. I am not afraid to spend on food and I have eaten the best there is. This place will give you the impression of just another sushi restaurant but the quality of the sushi is that of what you expect in a fine dining sushi establishment. Highly recommend! I judge sushi places based on the quality and texture of the sashimi. I will say the price is a bit insane but I'm from Florida so maybe it's normal here. The atmosphere and vibe doesn't come across as a restaurant that would have such an excellent quality of sushi but you will be surprised. 100% worth it.

If I would be able to give this 0 stars I would the service was absolutely disgusting, the girl with pink hair at the front desk was so nasty and rude i literally will never come here again or even recommend it to my worst enemy. Terrible service

Sushi of Miso opened a year ago (September 2021) and no one knows it exists! Staff are so friendly, there are always plenty of seats inside, and the menu is extensive - two dozen different rolls, a selection of dumplings, a few different bowls, and other odds and ends. If you like fish or seafood and find yourself in LIC, it's worth the walk from Court Sq! Dumpling orders come with choice of dipping sauce plus either miso soup or side salad. Lunch special is 2 sushi rolls for $12 or 3 for $16!

Top sushi in Long Island City sushi! Very consistent food, expansive and creative menu, fun experience sitting at the sushi bar with experienced chefs.

Got the 3 roll spicy combo from DoorDash, the spicy tuna and spicy salmons were my favorite because of the crunch tempura in it. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because they didnt put chopsticks in my bag. Luckily I had chopsticks are home.

Ordered delivery from this place a few times, I think they do a really good job on the rolls and the sashimi and nigiri always taste fresh so no complaints at all! It's also pretty reasonably priced for what you receive, honestly shocked there aren't more reviews for this place. Will keep ordering from here until they let me down haha only thing I request is when a roll asks for something not to be in it due to allergy or what have you, that they take that ingredient out (only gripe - otherwise very content!).

I had the best experience ordering from Sushi of Miso for delivery. It arrived promptly and really well packaged. The rolls were packed so tightly that they arrived totally in tact. I especially enjoyed the following sushi pieces: salmon, smoked salmon, roe, scallop, and yellowtail. They were all exceptionally fresh and delicious. I was really impressed with the quality of the fish. The botan ebi is fried. The rainbow cucumber Naruto roll was also incredibly fresh tasting, especially if you like a refreshing hit of cucumber. This will be my new go-to spot!

Very friendly atmosphere, entered to a very nice and cozy environment. The food was great and the cooks are very fun to converse with very friendly indeed. I enjoyed how cozy and friendly the environment was and especially how respectful it was. Almost feeling as if it was just a nice family meal giving homey vibes. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and definitely will come back.

This is what you really care about: The sushi here is incredibly fresh. We've eaten sushi and sashimi all over the country-- this was definitely one of the freshest and best tasting. As a bonus everyone was so nice! They quickly pushed tables together for our small group and made a fuss over us. Highly recommended.

Holy heck is this place good. We went to Sushi of Miso for dinner on a Thursday night. They do not take reservations, so we went for an early dinner (5:30). We were immediately seated. The place inside is clean and simple, nothing fancy. While there are not a large volume of Yelp reviews we decided to check this place out because of its large volume of five star Google reviews, and I am glad we did. First, the service was excellent: such friendly and kind people, who were constantly checking on us, refreshing our hot tea, etc. But secondly, and more importantly, the food was fantastic. The fish was ridiculously fresh. We had a combination of rolls (including the Broadway roll) and sashimi, enjoying both. We also ordered steamed buns as an appetizer--those were also quite delicious. The chef sent over a lovely amuse bouche when we were sat: I think it was some fresh crab meat, tobiko, and a light sauce. So, so good. The prices were extremely reasonable. They do not yet have their liquor license as of this writing, but it sounded like they are in the process of obtaining one. Highly, highly recommend Sushi of Miso. Some of the best sushi I have ever had.

I am surprised not a lot of people know this restaurant. I care about the quality of the fish and they definitely use some fresh fish for sushi.

I am sorry for leaving bad review, I usually prefer not to say anything, but I can't not say anything. We just got our order and the food was not good. Ended up throwing almost everything in the garage. Don't order pork buns. It was not edible, disgusting. Feels very unfair to pay $70 for what we got.

Overall: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Pricing: reasonable! TLDR; delicious fresh quality fish with reasonable pricing for the portion size! The dumplings are also divine! Came for dinner on a Sunday and it was such a great experience! I loved how friendly and attentive the staff was.

This family owned business has the best sushi in all of queens, ny. The staff are all very kind hearted and helpful. The owner is also very kind and understanding. There was very quick service despite how busy they were at the time we ordered. Although we couldn't stay to eat and had to order take out, the small amount of time we spent in the shop was very nice. 10/10 would recommend if you are a fellow sushi fanatic and I will be returning soon to try out more of their menu items.

Excellent little Japanese restaurant in Long Island City. Every single dish was perfectly prepared with the right texture and flavor. We ordered the pork tonkotsu, dumplings, miso soup and a variety of nigiri. We wish we lived closer so we could return regularly - it was that good. And the service was stellar!

Very fresh fish definitely will order again! So happy find another great restaurant near my place!
