"I'm noting that the international chain Sushi Palace hails from Germany and operates as an upscale-casual outfit offering everything from nigiri to rolls, bowls, and set menus that even include some vegan iterations; the group expanded quickly across Germany using a hybrid model that prioritizes takeout and delivery alongside in-restaurant dining. Shiny signage is already up for the corner location at 6535 Melrose Avenue (across from Mozza and less than a block from Umeda), and reps say the LA outpost will lean into a modern dining environment that mixes fine dining and fun in decor and menu while continuing to offer delivery and takeout; they also envision four or five more Southern California locations as part of a franchising plan and further expansion into Miami and New York City, with a big opening party expected by early April." - Farley Elliott

had an incredible experience at Sushi Palace on Melrose. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm and attentive, making us feel welcome right away. The décor strikes the perfect balance between stylish and comfortable, great for date night or catching up with friends.
The sushi itself was outstanding. Every piece tasted fresh and beautifully presented, especially the A5 wagyu and the chef’s special rolls which were truly next level. The cocktails and sake pairings complemented the food perfectly.
I also appreciated the little touches, like prompt service and staff who were happy to answer questions about the menu. All in all, it felt like a hidden gem on Melrose, and I’m already planning my next visit. Highly recommend.

I hosted a girls’ night out women’s networking event here with 16 guests, and the service and food were absolutely amazing! The owner and staff were attentive all night and made sure everything ran smoothly. They brought out two gorgeous sushi boats — the sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and so flavorful.
Highly recommend the Dragon Roll, Spider Roll, and their ceviche — all outstanding. For drinks, the Bubble Bath cocktail (served in a mini bathtub!) was a huge hit with my guests, and I personally loved their signature mules — perfect if you enjoy sweeter cocktails.
Overall, Sushi Palace Hollywood was the perfect spot for a fun, memorable evening. I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi, unique drinks, and top-notch service!

Absolutely was surprised at how much I loved this place. It’s a Japanese German fusion, the fish quality was fantastic. The roll we got was alright not my favorite but probably because of the cream cheese. Sashimi was great and the German dumplings were fantastic! Our waitress Simona was a pleasure, will definitely be back!

So beautiful and fantasy like. Felt like a princess eating here. Food was beautifully arranged and presented and very fresh tasting 🍣 sushi. It was a perfect place to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. There was a bar and gorgeous bathroom

Happy Hour callout!!! The scoop on Sushi Palace is that it’s a successful sushi chain from Germany w its first USA outpost as this location. That explains the German rolls amuse bouche and spaetzle on the menu. Ignore the purple velvet chairs and bright pink lights that give the place a 90’s club vibe bc the happy hour is fantastic! Not only are there several classic rolls to choose from, but they are all FULL SIZE for HH prices! And there are other non-sushi items on the HH menu like Japanese pork BBQ bao slider. Everything was tasty, the service great and we definitely plan on going back.

My wife and I were looking for a fresh new spot and Sushi Palace was it! We got in at 730 just in time for a quick happy hour apertif and a drink to kick things off. The Bar staff were attentive but low key which made for a nice chill atmosphere. The room has a mirage of different decor which is a throwback to it's Deutch - Japanese heritage. I highly suggest the 3 Crispy Rice, Dragon Roll and Garlic Edamame. Drink wise I enjoyed the Lychee Cosmo and my wife dived into the Bubble Bath which is a really fun idea. Do not steal the Rubber ducky🦆

Amazing Sushi Experience! My visit to Sushi palace was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a sushi date. The fish was fresh and beautifully presented. I recommend to order salmon pan-fried, it was most delicious surprise. The service was good and fast. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend dishes tailored to my preferences. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.
