Where to Eat With Kids Around Denver

"Like its four popular siblings, the newest location of Jeff Osaka’s colorful sushi spot boasts a conveyor belt laden with rolls and nigiri that’s sure to mesmerize little ones. If they’re less enthused by the dishes themselves, note that there’s plenty more to the menu: Where raw fish fails, edamame, gyoza, bacon fried rice, and mochi ice cream should do the trick." - Rebecca Treon, Eater Staff, Ruth Tobias

Our server was terrific and a great part of the experience. We tried this place during happy hour, it was full but not crowded or feeling rushed. Decor is fun and bright and we found parking easily. We found the food to be overpriced and not all that tasty, sorry. The shishito peppers were $7 and we got exactly seven spread out on a long white platter so not very appealing or seeming worth the price tag of $1/pc. We found the rolls pieces to be small and not that flavorful with some of the appearances of the sauces on top not very appetizing while the rice immediately fell apart when you tried to pick up a piece. I think this place has a lot of potential especially as there aren't really any kaiten/conveyor belt sushi places in this town. However I've been to many kaiten-sushi places in Chicago, several cities in TX and CA,Japan and Taiwan. So, feel that it's not quite up to the price we ended up paying (and we had happy hour prices). So I hope they improve and do well as would love to try again and would like to see a new place be successful.

Came because of a tiktok actually. The tiktok is from Denverfoodscene. What sold us is the conveyor belt and how colorful the store is. The service was wonderful, the staff is nice! Inside the store was warm, (i went in on 4-11-23, when it was high 80s outside) so it was warm inside the restaurant. Maybe the AC wasn’t on, I’m not sure, but it was quite warm inside! The food specifically the sushi was not good. In my opinion the sushi was hot not even warm it was hot. the salmon had some weird film on top of it so I’m not sure what that is or if it came from the lemon, but honestly seeing that made my stomach turn. Then the avocado was legit turning brown to black. So I’m pretty sure food temperature for those were probably not likely at 40°f. When I asked the staff if sushi should be warm they said yes and told me more about the Japanese food culture saying sushi is supposed to eaten warm since it helps bring out those flavors. So maybe that’s why the avocado was turning color, that’s just my assumption. Besides the sushi I did order some hot food from the kitchen being the okonomyaki fries and my good those are so delicious! so over all 3/5

Really cool place! It was our first true sushi conveyer belt. For those who haven’t been to one before (such as myself) - each sushi is served on a specific color of plate with a corresponding price, from $2-5 and a sign signals which kind of sushi follows. Some of our favorites were the Surf and Turf, the Spicy Tuna, and Salmon Tartare. One of the best things about this place is that there is zero wait (unless everything you want is made to order, which is a very quick turnaround). The service is extraordinarily friendly and attentive, my fiancée and I were both very impressed. The price will sneak up on you! But the sushi is so good that your full stomach will likely cover up any regrets ;)

Tried the bbq pork belly nigiri which was tasty but super smokey. Though some of the other sushi tasted old. Overall it was alright.

I was hoping that Sushi Rama would knock me off my feet as I have an office in the neighborhood and some of my guests who frequent from LA enjoy ramen, bentos, and sushi for lunch. Sadly, my only visit to this location was very disappointing. I went in with a client who ordered ramen, and his comments were that the ramen was totally clumped and hard to separate even in the steaming hot broth. I could tell he was having a hard time pretending to enjoy the ramen. We both passed on the conveyor belt sushi as most of them looked cheaply made with mostly rice as filler. Since I passed on sushi, I opted for a Loco Moco and that was among the worst loco mocos I've ever had. 70% or more of it was white rice, and very dry white rice. To make matters worse, the dry rice meant that I needed a lot of hydration to consume it all without choking (seriously I was near choking at times) but the soda glasses are as tiny as they get here. Seating arrangements here are awkward too, as some seats have you directly looking at another party's faces and you're literally watching them eat a couple feet away, plus you're close enough to hear everything they say. One additional star added for great customer service though, as both servers we encountered this day were super friendly and highly knowledgeable of the menu items.

Fishiest sushi i’ve ever had. Service was good but the rolls were poorly rolled, nigiri was extremely untasty. Even the sprite tasted like seltzer water. They served ruffles as one of their dishes which was really funny but again waiter was nice :)

Great little sushi place! Service was great, sushi was fantastic, and they made my favorite Purple Haze Sake! I do wish this location's happy hour was the same as the others, but it's still a convenient and creative sushi dinner!

Low quality sushi for top dollar, when is available. Took my wife and I nearly 2 hours to eat and we ordered several plates as servers said, "kitchen is behind if you want to eat you should just order". Might as well go to a sushi place, order what you want and save 30%.
