"Conveyor-belt sushi king chef Jeff Osaka plans to open a fifth location of Sushi-Rama in Aurora this April. The 2,200-square-foot space features a conveyor belt stretching more than 200 feet, rolling out dishes in the $1.50 to $4 range. Items include California and spicy tuna as well as specialty dishes such as the Kraken with fried squid legs, lemon, cucumber, pickled red onion, Bibb lettuce, kaiware sprouts, spicy mayo, and gremolata and the Pineapple Express with tempura, unagi, cucumber, garlic mayo, kaiware sprouts, topped with tuna, spicy pineapple glaze, sweet soy, bubu arare, and scallions. The location also plans to serve ramen ranging from a spicy miso version with spicy grilled chicken thigh, spinach, bean sprouts, chili miso paste, shoyu egg, naruto, and negi for $13 and the tempura udon with tempura vegetables and shrimp, naruto, negi, and shoyu broth for $12. Sparkling sake, wine, beer, and Japanese cocktails also make the menu. Fans can head over every Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. for 25 percent off all sushi and drink specials." - Susan Stapleton

Great eating experience! Great food! Eating here reminded me of many sushi places in Japan with a convenient conveyor system. Even with conveyor and not really needing much service, service was excellent! I loved the use of citrus and coconut on some of the sushi rolls we ate. Totally recommend here. This was our last stop before heading to the airport.

1st visit, Saturday mid-afternoon. No wait. Conveyor belt with all their sushi offerings a novelty and, really makes it easier for diners to see and decide on their choices. A la carte menu items also offered. We ordered: the Bacon Fried Rice the Loco Moco & 2 types of sushi. Sushi was very good, the Loco Moco pattie was overcooked, a hard bite. The gravy, delicious. More than enough rice portion vs the pattie. Bacon Fried rice was ok Love ♥️ their (pickled)radish!!!!! Service was 👍. Very welcoming, friendly and quick. Decor is very colorful, lively. Rating them 4.5 now and will re-assess after next visit as looking forward to trying their ramen.

This is actually a two in one restaurant (sushi-rama and osaka ramen) so if you're looking for either/both this is your place. We went here on a Saturday for lunch and it was not packed which was nice. Such a fun and unique experience for sushi! We enjoyed it because you get the opportunity to try small bites of different kinds of rolls. And I thought it was pretty reasonably priced. They charge you by plate you take off the conveyor belt and each color plate is a different price. You keep the menu in front of you so you can see the ingredients of each piece of sushi as well as the price of it. There are 2 pieces on each plate. You can also order rolls that aren't on the belt at the time. We only went here for sushi so I can't say anything about the ramen. There was a good amount of parking when we went but I can also imagine that the parking lot might get full when it's busier.

July 2023. We came on a Saturday afternoon with out-of-town friends. So much fun! This time, we had the ramen and a CLT roll we'd not tried before. Delicious! We were right by the kitchen and saw plates get kicked off the belt. Our server explained there is a marker on each plate, so after it's been out there past a certain time, it gets kicked off the belt. The kicker did not play! (The only drawback: there were some accidents under the table from lost rolls. My "clean" kiddo was having some difficulty with it and we made extra sure to check our shoes leaving.) July 2022. What a concept: sushi is conveyer belt! Super easy to order. We came in right after the lunch rush, so a little limited but we ordered directly from our server. The conveyer took about 10 minutes to come around. The spam musabi and gyoza were good, and the moco loco but a little hard to eat with a spoon. The bacon fried rice was disappointing: we'd had it pre-pandemic at downtown Osaka Ramen and we're blown away. This time, not so much, and the broccoli was quite pronounced. It DID feel far healthier but we didn't come out for that. They have a "buy 12 plates, get 13th free" club. 5 sushi plates, 4 small plates and a drink were about $50. Great location across from UCH. Ample parking.

I have never had the 'sushi river' experience before, and it was worth it! This was a very unique and new dining treat for myself and my date. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain how everything worked. They also made sure we were taken care of for our entire visit. Sushi was delicious! Would recommend!

7/21/22-dropped my 3 stars down to 2 because they had basically no plates on the belt and the novelty is the whole point in coming here. Just a disappointing experience. Left hungry and frustrated. I don't recommend this location. 10/2021-The only reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars is because it is over priced. It's over priced because there are all you can eat sushi places close by that are $16-24, and here your rates can easily add up to that while you are still hungry for more. Plates were $2 and up with each plate having 2 little pieces of sushi on it. They cool thing about this place is you grab your plate off a conveyor, but places like this in Japan can be found at $1 per plate for every type. The sushi did taste good, but I really question size when compared to cost. They do have a regular menu that I may go back to try. The wait staff were nice and the bathrooms were clean.

We came in for ramen, and it was great. Add $1 for the Osaka salads when ordered together with the Ramen, that's delicious and healthy! The moving conveyor with the tag to indicate the type of sushi helps make choices.

Came in on a Tuesday night before closing. The staff was welcoming and polite. The food on the belt as well as the ordered food came out quickly. The selection was significantly varied with some special flavors that were impressive (kokonatsu especially). Our server was an attentive young man that went above your usual service. The food was made with care and was fresh. Price was a tad high (three of us are and drank for $100) Conveyor belt 🍣 is happening in Aurora.
