⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — A Top-Tier Culinary Experience at Sushi-San Nashville
I had an exceptional dining experience at Sushi-San in Nashville, thanks to the outstanding service from Joe and Monica behind the bar. Both were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, and they helped make the evening one to remember. Joe in particular went above and beyond with his knowledge and hospitality, but the team as a whole made the experience special.
I started with the miso soup, which was rich, balanced, and easily one of the best I’ve had. For sushi, I ordered four different rolls: the Lobster California, the Spicy Scallop, the Shrimp Tempura, and the Truffle Shiitake. Every single one was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and crafted with care. The combination of cooked and specialty ingredients made for an exciting progression throughout the meal.
For cocktails, I enjoyed the “Thank You, Enjoy #6,” which was excellent and perfectly paired with the food. I also had an ice-cold Asahi from the Hoshizaki machine, and Joe gave a great explanation of how it works and why it creates such a crisp, refreshing pour—really cool to learn and even better to drink.
I finished with a double espresso digestif, which was the ideal ending to an already stellar meal.
From start to finish, this was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in Nashville. Highly recommend Sushi-San—and if you can, grab a seat at the bar with Joe and Monica. They’ll take great care of you.
