"Sushi-Teq was a sushi-focused restaurant at the Intercontinental Hotel on Boston’s waterfront. It served a selection of cocktails, wines, sake, and beer alongside a varied menu dominated by seafood, including bento boxes, ceviche, maki rolls, and a long list of nigiri and sashimi offerings." - Dana Hatic

Great service, great views of the water whether you are inside or on their patio, and a great tequila bar menu. The sushi menu on the other hand, while fine, was fairly limited. The roll I had was the Fort Point roll. It was decent but probably wouldn't order it again. As far as specialty rolls go there was only one other one. So if you are a sushi purist you should be satisfied with the menu. Otherwise, stay for the views and the cocktails and pass on the sushi.

While Sushi Teq does have decent sushi and quite good cocktails, it is ridiculously overpriced, with a very rude and unhelpful staff/manager. Overall a poor experience and an AWFUL value. Go somewhere else. More details are below: We recently went here with a large group for a dinner party. We were told that the chef could do a group sushi sampler platter for $40 per person. But when the food came out it was only about a quarter roll and a couple pieces of Sashimi per person. Less a platter and more an underwhelming appetizer. Everyone was left hungry and disappointed - and when the final bill came, the cost was closer to $75 per person (NOT including drinks or extra orders). Not only did the place not honor its pre-negotiated discount deal but they also tagged on an illegal 20% gratuity (fun fact - according to Google, in Massachusetts, restaurants can NOT legally do more than 18% for automatically included gratuity). When we pointed this fact out to the manager, she essentially brushed us off. I ended up dropping $150 for a meal worth a third of that at most.

This is one of my favorite places to stay and eat sashimi in Boston. As a frequent visitor, getting to know the staff was pretty easy. my service was generally outstanding. The chef is truly creative in preparation, presentation and taste of his bite size morsels. If you are use to slathering on lots of soy and wasabi on your sushi, then this is probably not the place for you. However, if you like to enjoy your fish in a more traditional Japanese fashion, namely, you eat the fish as prepared by the sushi chef, without adding extra, this place is perfect. Very few sushi restaurants have chefs skillful enough to create their own tasty sauces. Diners should take advantage of the chef's skills and appreciate the Japanese artform. Plus, the fish is fresh and tastes great.

Sushi is decent. Lunch Bento box is great. Other items are expensive and small servings, and not worth the money. The service is hit or miss. Nice, bit sometimes super slow.

I was in town for a trade show about 4 years ago, and all I have to say is that I had an amazing time at this place. Great atmosphere, along with great food and drinks. Service was great, and had a blast. One of the few restaurants that I will never forget.

Good sushi at a good price. Other places may be better but the atmosphere is fun and relaxed.

Mind blowing sushi. Ask for chef's pick for some truely original creations, that you will not forget. Very much on the expensive side.
