About 10,000yen per pax for a 15-16 course Omakase meal in the heart of Shibuya - absolutely amazing and memorable experience. Sushi chef and waiter were all super welcoming and speak great English too, introducing each dish to us in detail and being attentive to our table needs. Really love the traditional interior with warm ambient lighting throughout. There were also a mixture of seats between counter and table seating for larger groups so this was quite unique. The uni was probably my favorite, followed by the fatty tuna and lobster. All incredibly fresh. Scallops and flounder were also one of the best i have tried in Tokyo! It was soft, juicy, and flavourful all at once. There was also free flow Japanese green tea during the meal. Best experience and a must-visit! Hands down one of the most value for money Omakase I have ever eaten. Will be back! Reservation in advance is highly recommended!

Google
A 'value' Omakase where you get a large amount of courses for ~10k yen, including lobster, uni (sea urchin), otoro, and other fish. Which sounds great on paper, except that you really are just paying for the gimmick of omakase style service - the taste and quality are significantly subpar to legitimate omakase restaurants in Japan. The seafood was in general, not very high quality or fresh tasting. The taste of almost every single dish was bland and boring. For example - whilst the lobster is aesthetic and good for Instagram, the taste is just boiled lobster - there's absolutely nothing going for it. There also isn't enough wasabi in any of the nigiri. The quality of the sushi rice is mediocre. The ordering of the course is completely nonsensical and it ends very abruptly, very much unlike proper omakase in which there's generally a coherent sequence of dishes based on taste profile. I just felt like I was eating slightly better than sushi train quality sushi, at a fancy setting with good service and plating. If you just want to say you tried omakase, then this place is fine, but don't mistake it for actual quality Japanese omakase - to be fair, this is to be expected from the price point. The restaurant does a good job with everything else, like service and ambience.

Google
Really can’t complain for price and course. You can easily spend more for other dinner omakase. For 20+ courses… I was full and happy! Thank you for the yummy meal!

Google
High quality omakase with great value-for-money. The chef was attentive to the customers' needs. All the food was fresh and prepared diligently and meticulously. It did feel a bit rushed towards the end but overall a wonderful experience.

Came here for omakase. The chef was obviously skilled and the food was overall very good. The nigiri sushi was definitely the highlight. Every piece of sushi was perfect. But other dishes were less impressive. They served steamed lobster but it was overcooked and tough. Also felt there was not enough expensive ingredients to justify the price. No scallops, only one piece of chutoro, no ama ebi. The service was fantastic and it was a really good experience. I would recommend it but don't expect it to blow your mind.

Google
Sushi Tokyo Ten in Shibuya is an absolute gem! From start to finish, the dining experience was impeccable. The omakase menu featured incredibly fresh and high quality ingredients, and each piece of sushi was crafted with precision and care. The chefs were friendly and skilled, explaining the details of each dish, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance was modern yet intimate, perfect for a special meal. Despite the premium quality, the price was reasonable for the level of craftsmanship and freshness. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance it’s a popular spot, and for good reason.

Google
Randomly decided to find a omakase sushi in shibuya on our last night in Tokyo and went to shibuya stream for sushi. Well priced omakase at JPY9800 per pax. This place is always packed when I passed by a few times during lunch and dinner. They serve a total of 20 courses of sushi and seafood, generous portion of food, service was not your usual uptight omakase restaurants, judging by the service staff, they even ask us to put out bags at the shop seating ledge which surprises us since will block the view of outside patrons nevertheless the sushi was fresh and we were so stuffed towards the end of the meal, took around 1.5 hours to finish the course and can go off for more shopping after chatting Shibuya. Sashimi - love it, fresh & what you will expect. Sushi - enoki sushi was interesting, the rest was very fresh and the first piece of sushi you will get is fatty tuna Otoro, they want to make sure you ate the best piece when you are famish & it taste like heaven with the fish melt in your mouth. Soup - serve at the beginning clam soup, not for everyone as the clam and fishy taste is very strong, they later serve it with miso, was very surprised by how much shijimi clams they use. We were joking that it was a avalanche of shells in there a small tiny cup. But I think Japanese believe that this kind of clam soup actually energize the body. Lobster - slightly overcooked, if it has been a sashimi dish, I can tell it will be wonderful this dish will turn out. The other side dishes were normal but well complement with the omakase set. Pineapple was a good round up and cleanse the palate, but we secretly was hoping that it was some yuzu ice cream which might palate cleanse even better & round up the meal perfectly. The only thing that I didn’t like was the seaweed they used, it was a bit bland or it could be because it is not roasted like other places we have gone to, if only the temaki and sushi they served is of a more flavourful seaweed, this meal will have been awesome, but nevertheless, understand why this place is always packed with people.

Google
Very entry level omakase, there is a good texture on the rice but the seafood quality is mediocre. There doesn't feel like enough staff to do 12 bar seats plus 12 table seats, only 1 server, 1 flex and 3 chefs. The flow and pacing of the meal was off because sometimes we got 2 dishes at once and sometimes we got nothing for 10 minutes while the other tables around us were eating. The order of the food was also weird, we went clam broth to toro nigiri to seaweed salad right at the start. Putting charred bonito and flounder on the same plate was also very weird, the char smelled strong enough that I could barely taste anything. Again, the rice texture and doneness was good but the seafood didn't taste fresh or well prepared (eg. abalone was bitter, eel had a huge piece of spine in it I had to spit out, cod didn't have any fin bones removed, ikura on rice had seaweed in it which made it slimy).

Yelp
I had a night to myself while in Tokyo and this was recommended to me to try so I made a reservation for solo dining. It's a small restaurant located inside Shibuya Stream building on the 2nd floor which took me a while to find and almost missed my resy time. They have 2 tables but it's mostly counter top dining where omakase takes place. Once seated, you order your drink (not included in your omakase price) and the chef in front starts prepping your course. Each piece was fantastic and so fresh! Of course my favorite is the Toro and the Uni. The whole course took about 2 hours with a starter app and seaweed soup followed by 13 pieces with a break in between, ending with a tuna handroll and clam soup. It's a wonderful dining experience even if you're eating by yourself so I highly recommend it!

Yelp
Sushi Tokyo Ten in Shibuya is a five-star sushi experience that delivers incredible quality at an unbeatable value. I'd give it more stars, if I could! The order: Omakase (chef's selection) The good: This is high-end sushi that holds up even by Japanese standards--and would easily be considered Michelin-quality in the U.S. Each piece is prepared and served directly by the chef. This made it feel like a very intimate and elevated dining experience. The price is shockingly affordable for what you get. A similar meal back in the States would easily cost $200 or more, but in Japan, for a fraction of the cost. I'll definitely be coming back during my next trip to Tokyo. The bad: As with most Omakase formats, the menu is preset, so you won't have much say in what's served. That said, every piece we had was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Highly recommend making a reservation, it books up fast.

Yelp
With so many amazing omakase in Tokyo, it was overwhelming to decide which sushi restaurant to go to! Luckily we found this restaurant from a food blogger and by looking at the photos and reviews it seems like a good option so we went with this! Highly recommend this omakase!! The food quality and the price is amazing!!! I wanted to eat here again if we had the time! Sushi pieces were so fresh. The sushi chefs were so friendly and talkative. They made sure you had the best experience. We did the bar seating so they can serve you each piece as the chefs made them. Thank you so much for a wonderful omakase experience! Another thing is we left here very very full!! Make reservations in advance!! Nice area to walk around before and after dinner!

Yelp
Food - very fresh fish all served with perfect portions. All favors were very powerful, my favorites being the uni, amberjack and the bluefin. Ambiance - located the the 2nd floor of the mall, it's a nice small restaurant with a small bar area, tables and booths. Service - the staff was very nice and attentive the chef was helpful in telling us what we were eating in English.

Yelp
20 people capacity, all speak Cantonese which means they are from HK. Toro and Spanish mackerel were the fish that has a little tendon. Taste fresh and sweet. My cod was fine but my wife's got lots of bones. I only had 1 piece of bone. The clam soup was very tasty but also very small. The monk fish liver taste very nice. They grounded it and added something else like pickle in it. But it tasted pretty sweet. The baby shrimp sushi was quite sweet. The uni was excellent. Very sweet and death. I supposed the highlight was the lobster. It's got a lot of eggs and very fresh. Good size too. Abalone was quite tender. There were few more dishes that I didn't mention. All in all, it's very good value for less than $10k yen pp.

Yelp
You will definitely leave this place full and to be honest, maybe even too overly stuffed. Sushi Tokyo Ten is an Omakase sushi style restaurant located in an outdoor style mall in Shibuya. You'll get about 22 to 23 courses for 9000 Yen. The variety of food covers almost everything you can think of such as scallop, toro, abalone, seaweed, red snapper, uni, unagi, ikura, shrimp, clam miso soup, chawanmushi and bonito. Some are better than others, but overall you will get a great deal. Make sure to make reservations, but I would ask for less rice from the beginning because I couldn't make it through all the courses. I wish they had less courses because it was hard to fully enjoy the food and experience by the end.

Yelp
Such an amazing omakase experience! We loved it here. Sitting at the counter added to the experience 1000%. The vibes were great. Service was amazing. The price was 9000 yen per person in May 2024. The fish was so fresh, melt in your mouth. Such a variety, and everything was amazing. My favorite was the fatty tuna. The egg with crab was also delicious. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Very rarely do I get a steamed half lobster as an omakase course haha! But it was an incredible surprise at Sushi Tokyo Ten. This spot was so packed, but the sushi chefs worked relatively quick, so it never felt slow. And all of the pieces were fresh and well prepared. We also were provided so many courses, and we left very, very full. Really nice, affordable omakase spot - made for a wonderful evening in Shibuya!

Yelp
When we went to this restaurant Christmas of 2023, it was very good. We had a big party of 8 and we enjoyed every course. Since then, my 3 boys have went back at different times (not together) and each of their omakase experiences have been just so-so. It is understandable that the menu will change, but not sure if they look at who the customers are sitting there? boys are all foodies and they know what good food is. Our 17 year old was just there 2 weeks ago but did not feel it was worth the cost. They were served mushroom nigiri? They could have had good sushi elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.

Yelp
This was one of my most memorable dining experiences in Japan. We got to watch the chef prepare all our food. They brought out more than 10+ dishes throughout the course of our meal and we got to try a lot of different types of food. Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. I really loved the sushi and everything tasted SO FRESH! There was also a seaweed dish that was really tasty. What made this experience fun was also that we sat next to nice people and started talking to them. I would recommend :)

Yelp
The experience was just amazing. It felt very personal when sitting at the counter.. very recommended. The chefs were very professional and fast with serving, as well as artistic and funny with how they presented the sushi. The room was cozy and intimate, and we made friends from England and had a great time with all of the courses. Be warned.. it doesn't seem like a lot of food.. but it's many courses! Be ready to eat and be open minded!

Yelp
We had an AMAZING omakase experience at Sushi Tokyo Ten Shibuya! We paid $8,800 yen (equivalent to approx. $60 USD) for 23 courses. 23! When I was doing research online, I thought this would be a 19 course meal - nope! From the broth starter to the orange slice, we counted 23 courses. Not to mention, when the chef was making the final hand roll for us, he asked if we were full. My partner said no assuming that the chef was asking if he was too full for the hand roll. The chef then made my partner a rice stuffed inari pocket thinking my partner was still hungry LOL! The exact opposite could be true - we were SO full! But the gesture was nice and the inari pocket was eaten. Some of my favourite dishes: - The first nigiri tuna was melt in your mouth fresh and buttery - The uni hand roll was so generous, they really piled on the uni - The sushi roll with tuna and some sort of pickled radish had great crunch and contrast in texture - The scallop sashimi was fresh and came with two slices (like the abalone, tuna and squid!) - The orange slice for dessert was SO sweet! I've never had an orange like it I would recommend Sushi Tokyo Ten to anyone looking for an affordable omakase experience in Tokyo. An important tip though - it was very fun to sit at the bar and watch the chef prepare all the food. They have some table seats where the courses are assembled together for the table and brought out on plates. I really do not think I would have had as much of an enjoyable experience if I sat at the tables. So make reservations early and choose counter seats!

Yelp
This place was incredible . The value & quality is unmatched especially for the price . Was able to snag. Reservation for 2 a few couple of days prior which was amazing since it was super last minute . Our reservation was at 9:30 pm & we got super lucky with snagging bar seats. Our tasting was 20+ courses . The qualities of the fish was amazing . My favorite pieces would have to be the toro , amebi, scallop, mackerel , snapper . Amberjack , uni & albacore . Everything was pretty good even the little side dishes .. I think I was super stuffed after the first 10 dishes that came out . Defintely need to bring a big appetite . I typically can eat but I was shocked at how big the slices of fish & rice were . Overall , this place was amazing and service was great . For two people the price was around $70 pp which is a steal since back in the states this meal would cost around $200- $300 pp for the quality . Going to miss this place ! Defintely an amazing Omakase experience with great pricing !

Yelp
I booked the table via Tablecheck. They charged me the deposit of 19800yen. I already visited the Sushi Tokyo Ten Shibuya on 20 Feb 2025. The restaurant charged me the full price. And they said that Tablecheck will refund the deposit to me in 2 weeks . So far I didn't receive any payment . What's going on?? How can I contact Sushi Tokyo Ten directly?!!!

Yelp
I'm not quite sure why the reviews were so mixed. I thought the $80ish was well spent! The sushi was fresh & delicious. Although I agree that the chef could've explained more about the food or demonstrated more knife work on the fish, but there were so many customers that I completely understand the need for preparation. Food: Perfect number of courses so you weren't disgustingly full. I'm only sharing my favorite top 7 dishes. The abalone, uni & watermelon were noticeably delicious!! Service: our sushi chef was kind and refilled my wasabi without me asking. There were servers available to also help with refilling waters! Ambiance: smells a bit fishy but it goes away quickly. It is a smaller restaurant so expect to be seated closely to your adjacent seatmate.

Yelp
Food in Tokyo is just yum. Omakase no exceptions. Service was wonderful, food exceptional, wayyy cheaper than in US, better quality. This was the place i had the BEST miso soup ever. On about 7-8 course i was already full and asked the chef make smaller rice/portions for me.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, great atmosphere, and excellent, well crafted cuisine. Three things to keep in mind. 1). This is omakase so it's chef's choice. You don't get to pick and choose. 2). If you're accustomed to western- style sushi (eg California Rolls), Tokyo Ten will be a challenge. Pro sushi connoisseurs will love this place. Occasional sushi eaters and those not willing to go out on a limb and try something totally new might be put off by a few dishes. 3) For parties larger than 2-3, you probably won't be able to sit at the chef's counter to watch them prepare the courses. The tables in the back are where you're going to sit.

Yelp
Having omakase in Tokyo is on another level! I've had omakases in other countries and it's usually double the price or even more. The sushi chef was so friendly and efficient. However I did find it a bit rushed as the next group was scheduled after us. The food was great but it was not as relaxing as I hoped it would be because of how rushed it felt.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious omakase at a great price point! The chefs and wait staff spoke English and were very accommodating. Seems like a tourist friendly spot. Recommend making reservations ahead of time.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place for an omakase experience. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time. Service was great and the ambiance was small and intimate. One of my favorite food stops in Tokyo

Yelp
I came all the way from United States and first thing I wanted to do was to experience Omakase.. very disappointed.. expensive and what they do, SAKANA in Las Vegas dies a better job, it was like eating at a regular sushi restaurant because all the seafood were already precut so I didn't get to see the beauty and freshness of the seafood! For the money , I rather go the fish market in Toyoso. I hate when you go for an Omakase experience and all the y have to do is put the fish on top of the rice. They gave another branch here in California.. fir the price, I rather go to all you can eat restaurant

Kim M.

Yelp
Walking into the Omakase we had quite high expectations due to the pricing which isn't bad, yet it was the highest I have seen yet. The courses started off well, however it some quite exotic items to the restaurant. If you enjoy sardine balls, mushy seaweed, uni, and salmon roe, then this place is for you. However this place was difficult to push through even with the great Spanish mackerel and red snapper. Personally wouldn't return back to the omakase, but it was a great experience.

Chelsea N.

Yelp
First things first-- we typed in this address: 東京都渋谷区渋谷3 丁目2 1 番3 号, given to me by a friend that's locate (which is correct), but Google and Apple Maps led us to somewhere else that's no where near the place. My suggest is to get a taxi and save yourself the headache. About $70/person of a 20 course meal. So fulfilling. It is reservations only. My expectations was very high for this place so I walked out a little disappointed but nonetheless it was worth the try and experience.
