All aboard! Conveyor belt sushi = nostalgia for me, and way better than any model train...
But probably more relevant for you in a restaurant view, I'll just mention this sushi here is well above Minneapolis average imo. Of course theres fancypants delicious spots like Kado no Mise, Billy Sushi, etc, but when you want to balance the fullness of stomach with fullness of wallet, while scratching a sushi itch, come be merry at the sushi merry-go-round.
Sushi Train's the only place in the cities where I can reliably get ankimo! If you know of other spots, please do expand my monkfish liver map. I also love that there's ikura here.
The plates are supposedly RFID'ed so the sushi automatically composts itself or self destructs or something like that when it's past its freshness.
I like the uptown location better, but have been to and enjoyed both.
