Good amount of sushi for the price. Comes with a salad and sauces. We got the rainbow sushi and another one with shrimp. All vegan. Tasty.

There are plenty of creative vegan sushi options here (which is a great benefit), but the flavors didn't stand out as I anticipated. I was hoping that flavors popped as you ate the food item, but that wasn't the case. The rolls were a bit mild in flavor. The ingredients are fresh and ripe. The service is quick, but the dining area is narrow and tight. However, there is an outside seating option if you want or need the space. It was clean and neat.

The server was so kind and the food came out so quick. It was delicious!! I got the California roll and seaweed salad. Everything I wanted in vegan sushi. I was looking for something light and yummy and they delivered!!

Bursting with flavor, this vegan sushi is wonderfully prepared with every intention to provide nutrients and taste without boasting to be “fake sushi”. I went right before closing after a long beach run, the ingredients tasted fresh and I was very impressed with the large menu options. I love that it is sit down cafeteria style, where there are two small adjacent booths where you can choose vegan sushi or vegan Thai, if you’d like you could get one of each. It is good honest food served at an affordable price. The portions are large and last well as takeout and leftover items 5/5 would definitely recommend. My favorite so far is the Aloha roll with pineapple topping. There is a large parking lot right behind. It parking is very affordable at about a dollar an hour or you can simply drive up a block or two and park in the neighborhood

Narita Vegan Sushi shares the same restaurant space with Thai Vegan on Main Street. I’ve been to Thai vegan numerous times, whose food is delicious, so I had to try the sushi here. I got three rolls: the Alaskan roll, the California roll, and the Narita special roll. Everything tastes delicious, and their customer service is 10/10. The sushi had so much flavor that I didn’t need to dip my sushi in soy sauce or teriyaki sauce. 100% recommended! Also, if you are thirsty, try the vegan ice Thai from Thai Vegan. It’s so refreshing. I’ll be back here to try more rolls and sushi combinations. I want to try their vegan salmon avocado roll and Salmon Vegan Sushi. Both indoor and outdoor seating, but space is limited. Street parking only.

Every roll we ordered was amazing, affordable, and the staff was very friendly. There were many options to choose from and everything came out perfectly. It was definitely just as good as, if not better than, sushi that is not vegan.

Delicious totally VEGAN 🌱 sushi with so many different types of rolls to choose from. The rolls are all really substantial size and filling, too. And they come with a salad on the side. The spot is a tiny gem, they have some indoor seating and open into a courtyard you could sit in, too. Really good!

After reading through the menu multiple times, I selected the State Beach Roll. I chose this one because I wanted to try the Soy Chicken. The sushi roll fell apart when using chopsticks, partially because the rice stuck to the plate. I miss Kensho, so I'd be happy to go back here and try another roll. Small inside, few outdoor seating options, one bathroom for the entire food shopping center. My friend got other rolls to try & her favorite was the Volcano Roll.

Sushi Vegan has quickly become one of my favorite plant-based spots and is now a staple in my restaurant rotation. The quality is always consistent, and the service is fast without compromising on flavor. They offer a great variety of rolls, with some popular choices like the 911, Volcano, and B.L.C.R. I've tried about 90% of the menu, and you truly can't go wrong with any option - everything is delicious!

Some of the best vegan sushi I have had! The portions are huge and everything tasted so good! Each roll comes with a salad and a slice of orange. I got my sushi to go and they packed everything up so well. The next time I'm in the area I will be back to try some of the other rolls.

Great customer service. Delicious food. Great location. Reasonable prices . The chef M makes sushi with love and always greets you with a smile and great hospitality.

Overall great, fresh food. Loved the paradise, salmon avo, and Philly roll -- I recommend the salad and soup as well! Mango/california rolls were NOT great, the "crab" they used it more like sweet hummus and super weird. We ended up picking it out. $70 for everything shown before a tip -- not horrible but up there. Parked behind the place no problem for like $2 an hour and explored for a bit after eating. Nice to have a fully vegan sushi menu!

Stopped here for dinner on Saturday evening. It's more of a takeout place but they have indoor seating as well. It shares the interiors with a vegan Thai restaurant. It's not a fancy sushi place but the flavors make up for it! Perfect for a nice comfortable meal! We loved the Japanese pizza - nice crunchy base, great sauces! The crunchy roll and vegan hot lover roll were yummy too!

We ordered three rolls and they all taste like the same hot mess. Did not taste like sushi. They don't use sushi rice. Tasted like rice and sweet potato basically. They didn't even give us free water. No restrooms for customers, hot as hell, barely any seating. Just warning ya'll.

This is literally the best hole in the wall. They have soy and non soy protein options which is a huge plus for me! Altogether, these babies disappear faster than they cook. I almost always order 2 rolls, since I can never pick. This is one of those jewels where you take your non-vegan friends because it's such a pleasant surprise. If you have some pals that don't like sushi (I know it's not real sushi but it will have you fooled lol), there is a Thai restaurant that shares space with the sushi place. Parking is easy, you can park right behind the restaurant or street parking. The area is walkable, too! If you want to top off the experience, there is a vegan donut place called, Holy Donuts, a 3 minute walk away, that seals the deal. They cook the donuts fresh, so they're piping hot but they taste best when you let them coop to room temp.

The best vegan sushi located in Santa Monica hands down!!!!!! I love this place would come back for sure, we got the Philadelphia roll and the spicy roll amazing

LOVE LOVE LOVE Narita! They are super close and convenient to me and have become a go-to spot for quick, delicious vegan Sushi!!! I also love and appreciate that they label everything that's gluten-free (and trust me there's a lot). I love their avocado rolls & avocado/salmon rolls and they give a ton of avocado which most places don't. I think my favorite are the California Rolls as they have a little extra protein in them with the chickpeas. They are so tasty too! Always quick, clean, friendly service! Definitely come here!!!!

I am only reviewing their food and service, and not the ambience or seating. My daughter and I stumbled on this place yesterday, and could not believe how good it was! It's such a little hole in the wall, that shares a space with a vegan sushi counter, that we couldn't have anticipated it's deliciousness. We got the rainbow roll and dragon roll. They were phenomenal. Totally not what I was expecting. On top of that, the woman that works there was an absolute doll. She was very sweet. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Dear Narita, I will give you 4 stars, as you are still one star short to satisfying my vegan sushi taste buds. I believe the filling for BOTH rolls was lacking some crunch, some tempura or perhaps cucumber?

Food was good, service took a while when there was not a crowd. Very disappointed in the fact that we ordered spicy sushi and they were unwilling to provide a cup of water and the only option they provided was to buy bottled water in a sit down restaurant

I've ordered vegan sushi here twice to go. Really love their special rolls. Comparable to other vegan sushi spots in LA. Portion sizes are good. Priced well too. My only request is to separate out the pieces when you put it in a to go box so it doesn't turn mushy and stick together. Also maybe add some more elements of texture to your rolls :) Will definitely be ordering more!

If you are not vegan, come here with your vegan significant other and just order Thai vegan next door instead. If you are vegan, I'd give this place a 5 considering price. If you are not vegan, I'd give this place a 2.5. Do not come here expecting traditional sushi if you are not vegan.

MAC is new to the job and he is exceptional! We have been wanting to try the place for a while and now we won't eat vegan sushi anywhere else! The volcano roll was next level delicious for anyone who loves super spicy. The mango rolls situation was so delicious. It was a great competition between that and the "under the sea" roll. I recently tried vegan sushi for the first time, I got the California mango roll and was spectacular honestly I didn't imagine vegan sushi could be so delicious, I loved it plus the portions are pretty big and filling also very fresh, the customer service is also great the guys are very nice friendly and helpful :) I recommend this place, definitely be back to try another options too

A lot of rice, and the spicy tuna was like mashed beans. The asparagus was hard and the avocado was not ripe. I was not at all happy with my order.

Came here last week with my friend visiting LA. Of course, I took her to Santa Monica and we spent the entire day walking and biking around. This was a nice little pitstop. We both got the Alaska roll and it was delicious. We took it to a park nearby to have a picnic and then continue the rest of the night walking down Main Street, perfect!

I am hardcore side-eying the three-star review saying if you're not vegan don't expect this to be a traditional sushi place. Like what?? Obviously?? Lmao. What an unfair review!! I gotchu, Narita. The food I've tried here is so fresh, flavorful, and creatively inspired. So excited to see this pop up on the west side and wishing the team all the best with their new business!

This place was so great to find. The sushi was delicious! Tasted just like the seafood it was meant to replicate. I highly recommend this place for both plant-based eaters and those that have trouble believing plant-based can taste just as good. There is seating if you're looking for a place to sit and eat.

Health inspector came in and shut the place down on the day we went to eat. One of the servers handed me a menu and told me to have a seat and right after I over heard the other server telling some people who had walked in that they would be closed for 1-2hrs. Due to health inspector being there. Why didn't the First Lady tell me this?!? She was just going to let me order without knowing.

This place shares a space with Thai vegan on main. It's a perfect casual spot to grab grub. They have a lot of rolls to choose from so there is definitely something for everyone. It's also reasonably priced for vegan sushi! We tried a few rolls but they have so many options, I want to go back and try some more. The service was good, there were just 2 people working there. Food came out fast, and it's counter service pretty much. If you're in the area and craving sushi, high recommend!

AMAZING Sushi!! It was so so good. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying that delicious Sushi! The owner is a really nice lady and made it really delicious! Few sitting options inside and outside. I just can say stop by and try it yourself you will be blown away!! :)

Sweet little plant-based sushi restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. I am a fan of very simple veggie rolls (which Narita also does well) but it was fun to try some really creative and elaborate rolls! I was ordering takeout for three so had the opportunity to try lots of different rolls. Loved the Cali Mango eaten with wasabi and ginger, also the Alaskan was really interesting - topped with a plant-based salmon made from a root vegetable and filled with purple sweet potato. The Awesome and Narita Special rolls were also yummy. Service was fast and cheerful and the chef Victor offered to help me carry my takeout to my car because I ordered quite a lot! They also included salad and miso soup for free in my order. The sweetest and loveliest staff. Highly recommend!

Good food. Right next to the vegan Thai restaurant and other restaurants, so you have plenty of options. We ordered the Narita Special Roll and some California Roll. Both were fantastic. Sidenote: Something that has NOTHING to do with the actual restaurant, but that should still be mentioned: A guest was causing a scene and made a lot of people feel uncomfortable. The police stopped by to give a warning to the woman...the people working at the Thai and Sushi restaurant reacted incredibly cool the whole time and were very professional in this heated situation.

Omg... the customer service was great and the food. I actually already ate lunch when I walked y this place. And when I saw it vegan I had to give it a try. It's rare to have vegan sushi well done. Thank you so much to the chef and to the server.

I seemingly order from this place once or twice a month - they never mess my order up. The BCLB and Volcano rolls are legitimately some of the best vegan sushi I've ever eaten in my 20+ years of veganism.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I wish I can give it a 4.5 stars. It's a little hole in the wall place in Santa Monica that is situated in a corner of a strip mall. We were hesitant to try it, but we went in anyway. Am I glad we tried it. Their seaweed salad if really good. We had their Mango roll, which was really good, but their 911 Roll is the best. Try this place. We highly recommend it.

Absolutely delicious rolls! The pizza was meh although it was an interesting concept. I loved the sushi though - I will be back to try more rolls!

I went to check it out after seeing a friend's post on social media . It's located right next to Thai Vegan which I've been a customer of for many years . The food was GREAT ! The portions were bigger than I had anticipated as well so it turned out to be a massive take out . Service was friendly and quick . Definitely recommend

My favorite so far is the baked lobster roll. Friendly staff and great service plus there's Thai Vegan right next door.

So impressed!! Ordered takeout and the food was delicious and ready very quickly. They were even able to accommodate a weird allergy I have!

I have ordered from this place twice now and am hooked. The last time I ordered from them it was a half an hour before they closed and they were still willing to accommodate our large order, which was much appreciated; they are very kind people. The sushi I delicious; I can't list all of the rolls I've had since there are so many, but they all get eaten. The price point is excellent as well - you get a good deal for generous portions. If you happen to order and find yourself waiting at the location, there is an inside waiting area that is connected to a Thai restaurant as well as surrounding stores in the shopping mall, so you won't get bored. There is also a cute and intimate dining area inside that people congregate around to eat their food and hang out.

Well-made, delicious vegan sushi! I am not fully vegan & found the rolls to be really enjoyable. Don't miss the Santa Roll with the "baked salmon" - our fave.

As an avid carnivore, I can say that this is pretty tasty! I wasn't too hungry, but wanted a quick bite. I had the Alaska Roll...texture of the "salmon" is soft, but has a bit of chew to it. Not bad at all. The used of yams gives a nice sweetness. Will be back!

Best vegan sushi in LA! We get delivery from Narita at least once a week and have eaten at their small restaurant, too. Favorite dishes are: Seaweed Salad, Japanese Pizza, B.L.C.R. Roll (Baked Lobster), Aloha Roll, and Vegan Hot Lover Roll. Vegans and non-vegans, you will love all the flavors in these unique rolls.

Unfortunately because I've been to the best in Vegas Chef Kenneys this was so below . I wouldn't come to clash with the other amazing reviews that led me here in the first place except it was the same price as Chef Kenneys but nowhere near in flavor and quality. I was really hoping it would be . Two of us and bill was $100 for four rolls, no drinks and four pieces of individual sushi, the vegan shrimp and avocado sushi. Sushi rolls are big portions but I wasted two rolls hating the filling of what I found was a mix of chickpea and sweet potato so I ate only the top mango slices and wasted two rolls. I'm not trying to be a hater but if you have been Chef Kenneys before you will hate this place and it's the same price . Heads up
