"Finally, in Chef Tomoyuki Yoshinaga's Sushi Yoshinaga (new star restaurant), Paris has one of the finest restaurants dedicated to the art of sushi. The produce used smacks of exceptional quality: ikejime fish from Brittany, in particular, plus caviar, sea urchin, abalone, wild eel, and matured bluefin tuna of a quality that one rarely has the opportunity to taste. The art of cutting fish, the exceptional skill of the chef, the different temperatures of the rice, the various soy sauces used to complement the fish... it has all the elements of an exceptional dining experience." - Le Guide MICHELIN

"This exceptional restaurant has left nothing to chance: ceramics designed by a Japanese artist, rosewood chopsticks set out on a small cedar tray, maple wood panelling and soft lighting. Sushi master Tomoyuki Yoshinaga crafts a feast of outstanding fish, including different varieties of fatty tuna, which he surgically prepares and seasons – all for the benefit of no more than 10 diners at a time. This culinary performance of high-flying precision covers textures, maturations, serving temperatures and a vast array of flavours depending on the omakase menu. We also noticed and applauded more personal recipes and techniques, particularly the house marinades and soy sauces and the subtle selection of warm dishes served at the start of the meal. The final cherry on the cake is the tandem formed by the chef and his maitre d’ which is so seamless and smooth as to be almost invisible, if it weren’t for the duo’s manifest complicity and shared sense of humour." - Michelin Inspector

My absolute favorite sushi restaurant outside of Japan. An outstanding food experience — everything from the incredibly fresh sashimi to the impressive sake selection is thoughtfully curated. The chef’s personal stories about his journey toward two Michelin stars add a unique and intimate touch to the evening. Every detail of the dinner feels like a true work of art. Thank you for offering such an unforgettable experience and for transporting us into the heart of traditional Japan, right from the center of Paris. Congratulations to the entire team on another well-deserved Michelin star!

A Michelin-Star experience from start to finish. This sushi restaurant exceeded all expectations. Every piece of sushi had a distinct, unforgettable flavor that demonstrated Chef Yoshinaga’s exceptional talent and artistry. The skill and attention to detail were clear in every bite, making it feel truly world-class (top of the top). Chef Yoshinaga is both highly professional and wonderfully entertaining, adding a personal touch that elevates the entire dining experience. The interior design is a stunning fusion of styles: sleek and futuristic yet steeped in traditional Japanese ambiance, creating a perfect atmosphere. If you’re seeking a top-tier sushi experience, this place is a must visit!

Where to start ? First what a magical night and experience with Chef Tomo and the team at Sushi Yoshinaga, from the welcome and discovery of the bright and stunning main room, where you are asked to choose your seat. Then Chef Tomo introduces you to his experience, skills and cooking method, with a lot of passion and kindness, as well as many funny personal story. Of course the main experience, remains the food in the omakase form, and from start to finish it is absolutely brilliant, texture, temperature, acidity, fatty, umami...everything you want and expect from a great sushi master. The fish are all fantastic, with a special node to the french Eel (Unagi) as the chef said "better than Japanese", the medium fatty tuna, the blue lobster...I mean everything is mind-blowing. I do not forget the mushroom dashi that was so rich and deep in forest flavours and comforting. The wine/sake list is quite extensive and thanks to the head sommelier you can just let go and trust the process with sake or wine pairing. Thank you again to Chef Tomo and the team for this magical experience and for the amazing energy around this 10 guests table. Clearly the best sushi spot in Paris and maybe Europe.

A magical evening! Chef Yoshinaga is a master of his craft; each dish artistically prepared with precision and devotion. His passion transpires through the interaction with his guests; he conveys his love of his native Japanese cuisine with humor and humility. The night was made even better by impeccable service and a convivial atmosphere. The wine list was extensive, and the one we were recommended paired divinely with the dishes. Dare I say this is the best sushi I’ve had in Paris? Actually, the best sushi I’ve had, period. Highly recommended!

Google
Thank you chef for the outstanding sushi but above all for your relaxed mood, cooking philosophy (Japanese fish vs. French fish). The eel for starters was awesome. The tuna and onion sushi amazing. I learnt a lot and enjoyed the food as much. PS: impressive wine list….

Chef Yoshinaga and his crew provided an unexpected world class experience in the middle of an Omakase desert in Europe. I was insanely surprised about the refined matching of tastes, textures, aging of the various products and all of this working with basically exclusively local ingredients. Chapeaux & to more visits soon! Can’t wait!!

I always wanted to try an omakase experience in Paris. The whole experience was very refined and comparable to other omakase I've been to. The welcome and service were outstanding and will probably repeat it again.
