Their staff is very friendly, helpful, and kind. I loved the energy they create here. Very good variety of food. Both for gluten-free and Vegan. But plenty of traditional Japanese foods as well. Fast and affordable.

Very wide selection of options if you walk in at 5 pm, but very crowded! I was seated immediately since I was alone, but there were dozens of people sitting behind me in the waiting area. Maybe come in earlier if you don’t want pressure to turn over the seat.

Good place for conveyor-belt sushi. The overall flavor is decent and there’s a nice variety to choose from. However, the rice was a bit cold and slightly dry, and it tended to stick to the plate, separating from the fish. Still, it’s a solid option if you’re in the mood for rotating sushi.

Sushi Zone in Bothell is hands-down one of the best conveyor belt sushi spots we’ve visited. The sushi is always fresh, the meat-to-rice ratio is perfect, and nothing ever feels skimpy. Hot dishes come straight from the kitchen, and the double-belt system keeps everything moving—sometimes too fast! It’s super affordable, with most plates under $7, and the quality is surprisingly good. The staff is friendly and fast, even when it’s packed. Bonus: don’t skip the mango cake—it’s the perfect sweet finish. Great for casual meals, dates, or sushi lovers on a budget. Definitely a local gem!

visited twice and both times were a great experience :) the service was amazing, very attentive and friendly. sushi tasted fresh both times. prices aren’t bad. i didn’t dislike a single plate. great for people who like raw sushi and for people who like “safer” cooked options, there’s something for everyone. i’ll be visiting again soon and i’d recommend others to visit too!

They serve specialty cuts of fish (fatty tuna, toro, uni, amaebi) at neighborhood prices with thick portions. I got the chirashi bowl and it came with twelve HUGE slices of fish. Everything—from the conveyor belt sushi to the à la carte options—was incredibly fresh. The toro MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. Literally the pork belly of the sea. The salmon was tender and luxurious. I also ordered a few nigiri options and a soft shell crab roll. Again, the prices compared to the portion size are ridiculous in the best way possible. Every other sushi spot (especially Sushi Koushi) is overpriced and a rip-off compared to Sushi Zone. Every single dish is a knockout. This place is truly one of Bothell’s pride and joy. Service was friendly and fast. The interior is clean, and the conveyor belt had plenty of options. There’s even a second belt on the bottom for hot dishes like teriyaki chicken, gyoza, and tempura. The exterior is unassuming, but it opens up into a surprisingly spacious dining area. Plenty of street parking, too.

Updated review on 2/4/2025 Hands down. Still the best sushi restaurant in town. I order from this place almost every month, and both dining in and takeout are excellent. They serve the freshest sushi and rolls in town at very reasonable prices. The portions are generous, the food is clean, and the staff is always friendly.

BE CAREFUL WITH UNDISCLOSED CHARGES. We were a group of 5 and each person paid separately. At no point were we informed about a mandatory 15% large party/service charge. That 15% charge alone totaled nearly $37, and on top of that, the system still prompted for additional tips, which we ended up paying without realizing the mandatory service charge had already been applied. Even though each receipt shows “Guest Count: 1,” the large party fee was applied to every check with no verbal or visible disclosure. I don’t mind paying for service, but transparency matters. Charging a mandatory fee without notice and still collecting extra tips is not acceptable. Please make sure these charges are clearly disclosed to customers.

I haven't been to a sushi conveyor belt place in a minute and when a friend invited me, I was excited to go. Parking is in back of the place. Please take note of the address and park in the appropriate lot for an easy walk into the building. Staff was warm and welcoming and made all the difference for this lunch. The conveyor belt has an upper and lower track. The upper track is for room temperature, sushi and rolls and the lower is for hot entrées. We tried several different things and among them were salmon, tuna, yellowtail, Unagi, edamame, Tempura, shrimp, and vegetables. Everything was fresh and delicious. What really made to visit stand out was the service that we received. Throughout our lunch, the staff were courteous and prompt to keep our glasses filled, and removed things from our table that we did not need. When we left my lunch companion left behind an item at about an hour later we went back to find that they had set it aside and saved it for us. Thank you very much. Great experience.

I'm not a conveyor belt sushi person but everyone I tried this place with agreed that it's one of the better ones that we've had! Food & drink: (3/5) I usually try to avoid conveyor belt sushi because of past experiences that weren't so great. We stopped by this place before drinks nearby and fortunately it ended up being pretty good. What surprised me was how well their rice was cooked and seasoned. This is usually something completely overlooked in other conveyor belt places. I thought the fish quality was mostly good as well with my fav being white tuna (underrated and hard to find). Ratio of rice to fish is also great compared to other places. While this won't be my new go-to spot for sushi, I really enjoyed trying it! Service: (5/5) They were so busy the night we came but were still so kind! I can see why this is such a local fav spot.

I have dined in and done take out and prefer take out because my favorites aren't always readily available on the conveyor belt (if that's the case, you can place an order). Their tuna is consistently fresh and there's a variety of rolls to choose from. The service is friendly and they've always been happy to help me.

Last minute replacement for a quality sushi restaurant that was closed. I used to have a rule against conveyor belt sushi. This one didn't disappoint horribly but didn't argue for the positive. Service was quite attentive however compared to others. Spicy tuna was not really spicy nor quality. I ordered a hand roll extra spicy tuna and it was just a bit better in spice but poor quality. Toro was shaved and different but ok. Tuna in general pretty good but conbelt quality. The Amberjack was the star of the show, fresh, clean, and a bit of a firm bite but nice. My wife ordered a tuna cheek hot dish and rice and it was cooked well with a tasty exterior sear. However our prized pup got a holiday tuna rice add on to his kibble he loved! Overall I'm glad I tried this close to home, it solved a dinner choice in our area after returning from a holiday weekend and the other choice closed. After asking her if we would eat here again it was a no. But convenience might supersede.

A rotating sushi restaurant with fun rolls and fast service. Come here for fresh food and quirky delivery. But don't be thrown off by the worn out furniture and the long lines.

Have been here a couple times since my first review. This most recent time we came on a Saturday at 6pm and the place was busy! We had to wait 15 min for a space to eat, which isn't bad at all. The table turnovers was very quick. The food was tasty as per usual. I don't know what my problem was in my original review disliking the sweet potato roll. Maybe cause it was takeout and I had it "fresh" on the monorail this time? Either way, nice to have another monorail sushi place available.

I sometimes go exotic on sushi and did the spider roll, Uni, Ikura, and the combo Uni/Ikura. This place was great. Not the best I've had but it was tasty. The spider roll was a little over sauced for my liking and I wasn't sure if it was spider crab or prawns. But everything else was great. Love a sushi restaurant that does Uni and Ikura. Finally found a conveyer belt sushi near my neighborhood! I live conveyer belt sushi so much because of all the different items you can get. It's also super convenient for a quick lunch break. The variety of hot and cold options is such a plus because you can get yakisoba noodles, chicken teriyaki, and a yummy California roll all at once. It's quick, efficient, and fresh!

I'm pretty pessimistic about conveyor belt sushi bc the quality isn't usually great. The one we frequent is super gimmicky (yes the chain with the toys) and the quality sucks. However I saw recent reviews for this place were great and I was craving sushi so decided to try. Wow- what a great decision. The quality is better than expected- loved the variety and the sushi was very fresh. The medium fatty tuna and Toro were my favorite. Service was also friendly- servers kept refilling our water. We came on a weekend around 5 and it was already pretty busy; we got a table but everything is so fast so ppl left their tables pretty quickly. Def our new go to spot for conveyor belt sushi!

Go to sushi hana if you want good Japanese food in Bothell. The food is fine, at best. The nagiri is lacking the details that make nagiri more than rice and fish. The ramen is clearly a 99 cent package of noodles with bulk bought toppings. It is tasteless and in desperate need of flavor. Speaking of tasteless the server lied about what color the nagiri plates and were and instead of acknowledging we dissagreed about what color the plate was they were rude and would not allow me to finish the sentence. The owner was aggressive and spoke over me when I was explaining what was happening. They also claim that the way to identify which price a plate is the color on the rim of the plate. They also claim that the way to identify which price a plate is not the color on the rim of the plate. Be sure to ask before you eat since many of the plates in use are not the same as the ones on the wall.

We came back to this place after such a looong time. And the quality of the food was definitely better than we remembered. The store is very open. They have huge variety of sushi rolls. We wanted to try them all! I love that they have double-decker belts which is very fun: top is cold rolls and bottom is fried food and rolls. I always love eating fried food from the bottom. So fun! We will be back soon to try different rolls next time.

Saturday night was BUSY - we waited about 30-40 minutes for a party of two. We've been here for lunch several weeks ago but it was a letdown. This was sort of a second try (because our first choice was also a long wait and we had decided to go here as an alternative) I'm glad that I gave this place another shot because the food was much better and despite how insanely busy it was, our server was really kind and quick with requests. Tips are shared amongst all servers here, which I wished it wasn't so because I would have wanted to give ours specifically extra tips. He was working really hard and as I observed, always spoke with customers with respect and kindness. Anyways onto the food - we had a few rolls, seaweed salad, seared salmon nigiri (really good - some places don't know how to sear correctly) but I wanted to venture off the belt! The stars of our meal were the sashimi deluxe and tonkatsu ramen. I only took a picture of the sashimi but next time I'll snap a picture of the ramen because it was delicious and aesthetically pleasing! Sashimi was overall very good - fresh, better than expected for a conveyor belt sushi place. The cuts were thick, which I wasn't expecting. It was also my first time eating just sashimi and not chirashi style with something else to go with the fish. I enjoyed everything except the mackerel - very very fishy and salty. But that's how mackerels are and it's just not my jam. The tonkatsu broth was heaven! The shoyu egg was overcooked as ramen egg should be kinda runny. The pork was fantastic - good amount of fattiness and flavor. The fish cakes weren't good - bland with a hint of fish. Ramen noodles were however cooked really well, right amount of al dente and chewiness - and there's a LOT. I'd come back and try other things off the menu (skip the belt unless i want seared salmon) - the dragon roll is pretty good according to my kiddo. Coconut shrimp is okay, nothing to write home about. The Tokyo roll was yummy - definitely recommend that.

First off, let me apologize. When I write reviews, I typically try to take pictures of each item and share my experience. That lasted for about two minutes at Sushi Zone before I completely forgot. We arrived on a weekday, right at opening. Although the staff was busy prepping cake/ginger/wasabi/etc, presumably for to-go orders, we were greeted with a smile and offered a booth near the kitchen. Our server asked if we wanted to order from the menu. Neither my wife nor I had been to conveyor sushi in the better part of two decades, so our plan was to mostly grab what looked good but it was still empty as they had just opened. We ordered the calamari roll and tuna sashimi to get started. The calamari roll came up first and, surprisingly, was the most bland thing we ate. I can't recall anything about it and therefore I'd pass next time. The tuna sashimi was rich, tender, and luxurious. A side of chili for dipping was provided and helped make it even more interesting. While I don't normally eat a lot of sashimi, I'd try this again. And then the conveyor belts started to populate. Cold on top, heated on bottom, and dangerous all the way through. We immediately snagged a slice of mocha cake because they showed sold out when I checked the night before and I knew I'd want some. Fried cheese wontons quickly found their way into my mouth. Simple but indulgent and delicious. Oh look, chicken katsu! I wasn't expecting that. Yes please! About ten seconds later, some sauce was brought to go with it - nice. Not the best katsu I've ever had but definitely decent and, especially if we came back with the kids, I'd grab it again. From there, things were a blur. I'm sure we grabbed a California roll. Then we had... uh, I have no idea what else. By the time we were done, there was a beautiful multicolored stack of plates and two very happy, very full adults. Oh, shrimp shumai! We totally had some of that and loved it. I've usually had shumai at Dim Sum but this was served in a broth. I should have tried drinking it, but again - food blur. What I do remember is that both of us smiled a lot. Our only real disappointment was that when we had room for just one roll, the last UW roll got snagged from the belt before it reached us. Next time, right? $65 for two, who are well but weren't injured during the meal like we usually do at sushi.

We've been coming here since they opened and it's still great. The servers are friendly, the food is good, and the prices are too. It can get a little busy around dinner time but after the remodel they have a lot more seats.

This place was very lackluster. The fish quality was just medium. The servers were resourceful, but not in a great way. When I ordered from the menu, the server grabbed the sushi off the conveyor belt instead of having it made fresh. That really threw me off because usually when you order from the menu, it means you want it freshly prepared, not picked off the belt. They do have some interesting sushi names and seem to be trying out new recipes. The Fruit Ninja Roll, which is filled with fruit, caught me off guard. I didn't try it because it honestly sounded pretty nasty. The only real highlight was the uni ikura. The uni wasn't fishy and was decent quality. That alone kept this from being a one-star review.

I visited this establishment. Everything was top-notch, from the service to the quality of the food. I highly recommend it.

Found this place through yelp. Service was great but the food was so so. Not authentic Japanese food.

Sushi Zone is one of the last bastions for conveyor belt sushi in my area! When other places closed or turned off their belts after covid. Sushi Zone stayed true to its form and has benefited from it. All that aside, the portions are great along with the price. In all my experiences with Sushi Zone. Salmon is cut thick, and everything else has been very good, with great attentive service with refills on whatever you are drinking. Sushi Zone is now my official go to.

Sushi Zone was closed for renovations for a long while. It must have opened sometime in November or December since the last time I checked because the website said it was open for Christmas. Anyway, it was easy to tell why they were closed for so long coming in. The renovations looked great and the whole atmosphere had added comfort. It felt spacious, looked great, and they got rid of the bar part at the belt which I think was a good choice. They even got rid of the second door you used to have to go through. Even the food was better than before too. The Dancing Beach (one of the cooked rolls) is my favorite and can't wait to re-make this one of my regular stops.

I love this place. The variety is great, the prices are very fair, and the service is quick and consistent. I've ordered take out online multiple times from here including their sushi, soup, hand rolls, dessert, and side options. Everything has been satisfactory! My favorite roll is the mills creek roll.

I'm a sucker for revolving sushi and just had to try Sushi Zone out. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had two belts, one for hot foods and one for cold. To make the most of the experience, I only tried from the belts. I completely missed the sign of how much each plate is and just went at it to my heart's content. In my defense, it was a mini bday celebration to myself. I ended up getting rolls, some nigiri and a plate of crab rangoons. It seems like for the hot fried foods, it might be a toss up if you get the sauces that come with it. I didn't know that the rangoons would have it until a waiter handed it to me. Overall for the rolls and the nigiri, it all felt pretty fresh to me. I ended up spending about $50 for everything which I don't think was that bad for an somewhat indulgent dinner. The only mildly annoying thing is I suck at finding parking, especially at dinner hour. The closest lot was full and so was closest street parking. I ended up at city hall, as I typically do when visiting Bothell, and walking over.

We have been disappointed in the freshness of the fish the last 2-3 times that we have ordered from Sushi Zone. They used to be reliably high quality but our order tonight was not good. The tuna In particular should have been thrown away. It was very bad, to the point where my husband had to spit it out, and our son didn't finish dinner bc he got a piece with tuna and he lost his appetite. The other cooked items and salmon were ok, the red clam was pretty dried up. Overall, not a good experience and disappointing. We have been ordering from Sushi Zone for years, but might have to search for another option.

Food is very fresh and reasonably priced, service is always with a smile, there can be a line at times, so plan on coming early if you want to get a table quickly, especially at dinner time

When did this restaurant pop up? It's so good to see a new conveyor belt restaurant. This place looked new, clean, and modern like it came right out of a video game! We arrived when it opened at 11:00 am on a Wednesday. We were greeted well and food came out fairly quickly. They welcomed us ordering from the Server as well. They had really good rolls and unique new flavors too! I loved how there were labels on the conveyor belt explaining what each item was composed of. The hamachi and unagi were our favorites. The salmon rolls which I forgot the name were also really good. I wish the Agadashi tofu had a lighter batter. They offered 5-6 different plate colors which each had a different price. Overall, it was fantastic and I can't wait to try the vast other plates!

TLDR: Bacon wrapped scallops, butterfly shrimp, and many interesting rolls such as Mango/Spicy Tuna roll. Tons of variety, nice servers, cool silver metal glasses, and everyone gets a booth. Plus they are open until 10pm unlike my favorite places in Bellevue. Pricing good.

I've had some really great experiences here. It's a conveyor sushi joint, but the rolls aren't bad and the service is always fast. It's a bit overpriced for what you get, but definitely not a bad spot for a quick lunch in downtown Bothell.

Overall excellent service and really great menu! I made a rather large order for my company and they made the process so easy! workers were very helpful. 5 stars all around. Very pleased with the level of customer service!

I've gotten ciguatera poisoning twice from the eel here. Both times vomiting and in extreme pain for two days, with lingering neurotoxic effects for a week. After the first time, I decided to give them another chance, and sadly was disappointed again. This used to be my favorite sushi place, but due to health and safety concerns I won't be ever going back.

This is a conveyor sushi place off of Bothell downtown. Nothing special. Just typical fare, typical cleanliness (not too clean, not too dirty). Service was hit and miss... Depended on who stopped by. Water tasted like some soda or juice. Probably the half wasn't really clean. Overall it's meh. Salmon skin roll was delicious.

3.5 stars- but a place I would go to often. Food- conveyor belt sushi with good variety. Love how the belt is 2 layers- top for raw/cold items and bottom layer for hot food. Quality- as expected for conveyor belt sushi, and without any objections overall. The slices of nagiri feels satisfying, not too thin or small. Traditional use of colored plates to signify cost, OR You can order from the 10 page menu. **hot green tea with roasted rice - $1.75/ tea bag with unlimited hot water. Service- attentive with the hot water. Kid friendly, has high chairs, boosters and pre made kid chopsticks. Ambiance- 2 stars for quality of furniture. The area is spacious. I wouldn't not go here for this. Location- downtown Bothell on the corner of building. Street parking. Value- good! Range from $1.75-$5.50/plate. We had 29 plates + tempura ice cream $4.75 + 3 teas = $120 ish includes tax. Recommend- YES! Know I am biased toward conveyor belt sushi :)

Conveyor belt is fun and staff is friendly. There is a wide combination of choices. Price is reasonable and fish is fresh. (Not fishy smell or slimy so you can tell quality is pretty good. I like the fried calamari which comes warm/hot! I special order the salmon skin too

My go to sushi spot. So many awesome side dishes as well as rolls. If you haven't tried the spicy salmon bowl, I would recommend it!

My son and I love coming here. The selection is fantastic and the sushi is really good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are priced well for what you get.

Tried this place out and was quite impressed. The other reviews about the service are for real - I was seated within seconds of walking in. I took a plate of the cheese rangoons off of the belt and before I even took a bite someone gave me the sauce for it. I opened the menu and flipped to the second page and someone checked if I wanted anything. I finished my cup of tea and after a minute someone refilled it. The food is quite decent. There's 'normal' sushi (California rolls, salmon rolls, etc), unusual 'fun' sushi (fruit rolls??), and fancy sushi (toro). I appreciated everything on the belt being labelled too. The only downside is that the closest (free?) parking is a not-so-nice gravel lot across the street, but was still very roomy even when I went on a weekend dinner. The conveyor sushi place closest to me stopped using their conveyor ever since the pandemic, so I'm glad to have found another conveyor place.

We've been here for lunch and dinner. It's super reasonable, and the sushi is great. I honestly can't complain. Some of the booths are a little beat up - so the seating area could use some love, but the food and green tea is great. The service was fast - and you basically know what you're getting. For a quick, good priced sushi spot - this is it.

I wanted sushi for dinner late last week and ordered takeout from Sushi Zone. I got the Caterpillar Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Gold Roll, Fantasy Roll, and Shrimp Nigiri (Cooked). I liked all the rolls I ordered, with the Gold roll and Caterpillar roll being my favorites. After ordering on DoorDash I realized some of the roll are more expensive on DoorDash compared to ordering on their website. I will definitely be ordering again and trying some of their other options.

My 8 year old granddaughter loves sushi so I took her for her birthday. We both enjoyed it. Great selection. Good service. What we had was fresh. Good experience

Sushi Zone got a renovation! I've never been here prior to renos (we tried and the wait was too long) but the new conveyor belts are always stocked for hot and cold dishes, and goes fast. We are always seated very quickly and we never stay long because the service is super quick (less than an hour). Parking is a bit hard to find... since there is limited street parking immediately outside. The dishes range from $3-7 each plate depending on the color of the plates. Normally for 2 people, we will spend $50-60 before tax and tip and that's a good price to pay (without drinks as well) and we always pull dishes off the belt (rather than ordering a la carte). We will grab a mixture of almost all the different fish - hamachi, tuna, ikura, salmon, etc. (and there are a lot! which is a plus) and everything is fresh and delicious. The fish is not too small and there is not an over-ratio of rice either. Compared to other conveyor belt sushi places, I'm definitely enjoying Sushi Zone more. I've only tried a handful of hot dishes, and they're both great too. Service is super fast! Once I grabbed a tempura off the belt, and someone came by shortly after to give me the sauce for dipping. Bill is quick and water service is also quick.

Food quality is good and drinks were at a reasonable price. The sushi pieces are not very big so I can get a variety of things before filling up. Service is good and the place is nice and new.

I got take out from here not really expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious and high quality the fish was! I also love Tamago nigiri and it was so yummy and sweet. Definitely going to be my go-to sushi takeout spot!

I ordered delivery via Grubhub and was not disappointed. The rolls were delicious. I got the Spicy Tuna, Philly Roll, UW Roll and Super Duper Roll. Everything was well packaged and yummy. I have tried quite a few sushi places and always try each places spicy tuna. This wasn't my favorite; it lacked a little heat and the texture was a little off. Overall, this restaurant is great for takeout, delivery, and felt like a good value for your money.

Update review: newly remodeled restaurant with good reasonably priced conveyor belt sushi. Perfect for the whole family! This is our go to sushi place and I'm so glad the place looks much better and they updated new plates, dish ware and everything. It's practically a new restaurant!

I wasn't happy with their sushi several years ago but am very glad I decided to give them another chance in 2020. I've gotten deliveries from them (using UberEats) several times and have so far enjoyed everything. I don't really see myself going back to the restaurant (to dine in) but I'm incredibly likely to order takeout or delivery from them again (and soon).
