"Omakase from a veteran of Japanese cuisine. The meal begins with grated vegetables and appetizers. Nigiri emphasises the toppings, with fish cut thick and sushi rice more modest in quantity. Smaller sushi pieces enable guests to sample a variety of fish to their hearts’ content. An ingenious twist is that the soy sauce varies by topping: shrimp is served with egg yolk steeped in soy sauce, fatty tuna with foamy soy sauce, and so on. This self-taught sushi artisan never stops learning and rewarding guests with the results of his labours." - Michelin Inspector

Possibly the best meal we had in Osaka, great atmosphere and very intimate seating (8-seater bar). Booked via telephone around 2-3 weeks in advance and the price performance for this restaurant was mind blowing. Do note that the chef only speaks to you in Japanese so if you want to hear the English descriptions of each course you may be disappointed. Sushi was great and fresh, we added an uni sushi bringing total courses to 10. Loved this experience - we went at ~8:50pm and were done by 10pm. It did not feel rushed at all. If you’re looking for high quality sushi and intimate experience I would certainly recommend this place.

This was easily the freshest sushi/seafood we have ever had. The chiefs craftsmanship and attitude towards his work is no joke. You will need cash for drinks and additional sushi. The whole 8 courses took about an hour and you will have the option to purchase more. Gauge how hungry you will be before going and enjoy the experience.

Hidden away in an unassuming alley way. Barely noticeable amongst the hustle and bustle. Sushi here is so delicate that it melts in your mouth with every bite. Well deserved Michelin restaurant at an amazing price. I have been all over the world for sushi and this one stands out.

Amazing Omakase experience, very affordable and delicious sushi. The chef may seem intimidating at first but he is super friendly

Cozy restaurant. First time try Omakase and I think it was absolutely worth. In my opinion, language barrier is the only cons since the chef doesn’t speak much English, if you can speak Japanese, I think you can understand more about the dish you have and the experience would be great and less silent. Should book in advance and pay cash for drink.

Truly amazing experience. We booked a month in advance via the phone and the process was very straightforward. We were informed that bookings can only be made 8pm or later but might be due to bookings made in advance for earlier times. The restaurant consists of 8 seats and the owner himself behind the counter. It was a 9 course omakase meal and every dish was spectacular. Despite the stern face the owner/chef is extremely nice and pleasant to be around. Highly recommend to learn a bit of Japanese if you’re a foreigner to know which fish you’re eating. After the course you may ask the owner to prepare more dishes if there’s something you’d like to eat again or try. We got more uni and the bill came out to be 6000 per person extremely adorable. Would come here again no doubt!

They cancelled our reservation last minute, the day of the reservation, without contacting us. The reason was that they were “too busy”It made it very hard to find a different omakase as almost everything else was booked. Awful experience, beware that they might do this to you also.

I am very disappointed with this restaurant. I booked a reservation in January, only to have it canceled a month before our planned trip in May. The reason given was that they had mistakenly accepted our reservation. Now, we are scrambling to find a new omakase spot, but most of the affordable options are already fully booked. I am truly disappointed by their error. If you plan to dine there, I recommend calling ahead to ensure they haven't made a mistake like they did with mine.
