Fantastic omakase experience in Osaka! It is a very unassuming entrance tucked away on a side street from the main shopping street, with awesome izakayas lined in the alleys, this spot creates a very intimate atmosphere with only 8-10 seats at a time at the chefs table. I was initially works it was cash only but if you made a reservation through Omakase, the main meal is prepaid so only drinks and additional sushi beyond the set meal will need cash. I had the shorter omakase but still had 10 courses each with their own flavor profiles and different levels of soy and wasabi based on the fish. Some of my favorites were the tuna toro, sweet shrimp, and chawanmushi! If I had more cash I could've experimented with some more but I left with the base meal satisfied! The chef may seem stern but is very conversant in Japanese and takes time to Google translate to describe the fish for the English speakers! Truly lovely!
