I have for 16 years been a Susie's fan, and often about once a month on weekdays, but a man you guys sure know how to passively mess it up when you're out of sorts. So here's my advice: NEVER VISIT ON A WEEKEND!! You owe me $80 bucks today guys, but I'll never be back after today's visit to collect.
I'll start with the waitress taking our order. She was proficient and got it down just fine, but we seemed to lose all interest when we stuck with water. Never saw her again after that, and if it hadn't been for the fact we were helping ourselves to the water pitcher - probably with less than ideal food safety as my wife was resting the spout on the cups - we never would have survived on those 10 oz water cups. But the main thing is we were right there in the main walk toward the front door and NEVER got eye contact or interaction from anyone. We were in the tables with the long booth against the wall so it isn't like we were hidden in a booth. It really felt like the rudest I've been treated in a restaurant. Even one glance at us or a water cup or empty chip basket or lack of napkins would have felt different.
Then the food comes out. Pretty haphazard a couple things at a time, and my #13 and the kids shrimp dish come out cold. Yeah my friend, carrying them out with those hot pads doesn't magically warm them up, although the plate was slightly warmer than the enchiladas themselves. We ate it in silence because it wasn't worth it at this point - it was going to be a battle to find anybody to listen. Two of our party had corn tortillas as part of their meal and my wife had avocado on hers, and those elements didn't come out until about half way through the meal. On that front, yep it took action, I had to make half our party get up so I could slide out and go find the waitress at the order terminal in back. She suggested they'd probably be out soon, but didn't suggest she was going to run off to check. They finally came out a couple minutes later. But at least you were consistent in the lack of hospitality!
Yeah I left you about an 11% tip, but you sure didn't deserve that much, that was only because times are hard in the service industry.
You guys were unworthy to be in business today and I was the sucker for paying you for it. Do me a favor next time and just tell me to "get out!" at the front door. That would be amusing, and you'd save me $80. Instead I spent an hour and a half today listening to the same message loud and clear with crappy food added on. I keep laughing every time I see the ambience indicator at the top of this review. Yeah right - ambience. A black hole of ambience sucking your humanity into terminal darkness perhaps.
